JSPM error with Patch application

Hi all,
i am getting Error when trying to apply patch on Prdouction server which is in cluster.
i am presently working on ECC 6.0 version using JSPM trying to update patch which gives me error
Error occured when execution of JSPM_MAIN phase
Configuration error of Secure store:Library directory k:/usr/sap/sys/global/security/lib/tools" does not exist . which when i checked the folder exist in the directory .
I would like to update that 2 week before we had aserver crash and system was restored with help of backups .can ther be any effect of Server crash .

Hi Biswaroop
The main problem i see here is Cannot access SecureStore, maybe the path is not defined properly. Please check the JAVA_HOME variable or there is no authorization for SDIADM user to execute on this folder.
You can download the seculib for java , Copy the files "US_export_policy.jar" and "local_policy.jar" into the folder "$JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/security".
Please also check the Whether or not they can be accessed by sidadm user at OS level.

JSPM Error with SAP-JEE component SP16

Hi
I am depolying a queue in JSPM SP16.1 for an ECC6 700 SR3 installed ABAP/Java system and it errors with the component SAP-JEE SP16 (installed level is SP14 as delivered in the SR3 kit)
The log has the messages:

My version is 700 and the database is DB2/400 for IBM System i.
The sapcrypto is treated differently on this platform, so I havent done anything with it as yet.
I logged a message with SAP which has gone to the BC-JAS-SEC queue and the reply I received is below. Please let me know if this has helped you as I have not had the chance to get back to the system to try these steps :

To do the further investigation, may I check info below with you:
- are you able to read the content of the
/sapbwtest/global/security/lib/tools/iaik_jce.jar file with jar
- do you have the full strength JCE files installed for this JDK?
See note: 739043
- What user is used to connect to the Database from the java side in
the secure store? check if the password is correct or the user
is unlocked.
Make sure the connection details in Secure Store are the correct ones
you can check it in the config tool:
the jdbc/pool/<SID>/Password and jdbc/pool/<SID>/User

Error with JSF application on SAP NetWeaver App Server 7.3

Hello Gurus,
I have a JSF web application which I have deployed on the SAP NetWeaver Server 7.3 , but when trying to access the same I get the error
Cannot process an HTTP request to servlet [Faces Servlet] in [SecurePro] web application. [EXCEPTION] javax.servlet.ServletException: com.sap.engine.services.servlets_jsp.server.jsp.exceptions.CompilingException: Error in executing the compilation process: [ Compilation Failed! Exit Code=1
Has anybody else also got the same error earlier?, I am using Mojarra implementation for JSF.
I had earlier deployed the same application in an earlier JSF version and it worked on NWAS7.0 but Now I need to upgrade that, Please help

Yes - Ive tried every possible combination and here is my findings...
I don't think the 32-bit version of the SAP Java Connector (2.1.8) works on a Windows 2003 x64 SAP J2EE 7.0, i.e. the sapjco.jar file. I created a directory and added it to the CLASSPATH of the J2EE server (server and instance) and I also added it to the Java classpath using: java -jar <path+sapjco.jar> -classpath. Executing this command brings up a SAP Java connector window where it displays information of the version, location of the sapjcorfc.dll file etc. This windows opens, but is not able to display the information. If I do exactly the same with the x64 bit version of the SAP Java connector (2.1.8) it displays the information correctly in the SAP Java connector popup. I've tried copying the sapjcorfc.dll and the librfc32.dll to both the /system32 and the SYSWOW64 directory on the server.
HOWEVER, in CMC the Role Import tab still does not work - I just get the text null (in red). Before adding the sapjco.jar to the java classpath I got another error on the Role import tab - something like /com/sap/mw/jco/$JCOFunction. So it seems like it is now able to find the sapjco.jar file, but can not use it properly.
The big question is now: Should the sapjco.jar file actually be on the Application server or on the BOE Server? I know it says on the application server in all documentation, but that generally assumes Tomcat and all installed on one server.
BOE uses the sapjco.jar file to connect to the BW system to import the roles and that must be the BOE server doing that job and not the Application server???
Just my thoughts - maybe we can discuss this at Teched in Phoenix? :o)

Download Error with Adobe Application Manager

Recently purchased Creative Cloud hoever when trying to download keep getting the following error message:
I have also tried to install Adobe Download Assistant however receive the same message. Your urgent assistance with this issue is appreciate as obviously I can not use any of the programs I purchased until this issue is rectified.

OK. I am logged in….but that is where I was earlier. I can’t seem to get a real person…you are the closest I have. When I go to that link, I just keep getting thrown around and around with questions/problems everyone else is having (some the same as mine)…. My problem is that I can’t download the Application Manager. It cuts out on me about 2/3 of the way thru. I think this is the problem some others are having too…but I don’t seem to see any “fixes”. And, no live person to talk thru getting this fixed.
I suppose I could call back on Monday (5 am – 7 pm)… but I was hoping to work on my project tomorrow. I don’t see anyone to call in their 24/7 support.

Error with patching Oracle DB 11.1.0.6 (Patch 10 - 7378392)

Hi,
I am getting an error when trying to appy the patch 7378392 on Oracle DB 11g.
I am using the command
opatch appy
It worked great with other patches.
What am I doing wrong?

Runtime Error with Multiple Applications running in one Ear.

I have the Coherence and Tangosol jar files loaded in my ear and the coherence-cache-config.xml in the classpath, if i add two web apps to this ear that use the same jars i get this error:
SRVE0026E: [Servlet Error]-[action]: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com.tangosol.util.ConcurrentMap
but if i run the ear with either web app seperately - it works fine.
I know i have some kind of a configuration issue - i just don't know what.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello , The Hp DP team has done integration of our SAP application server with Hp DP software. However when we check with DB13 transaction we gets following error.,. We have modified initSID.sap file to take backup on disk . Does we need to change anything else tohave ful backup in DB13.

Hi,
I believe in the BRBACKUP command you are using rman_util or rman_disk command. Please go through the below link:

Try to run the BRbackup command from the OS level and see.
If you are using RMAN, you have to create a catalog database and register it and then allocate channels.

Stylesheet error with weblogic application server 9.1

Hi ALL,
I deployed my application on weblogic AS 9.1.
i have created my own domain using sun JDK 1.5.
i am able to log in into my application & able to do all the tasks.
but when i click on a specific tab weblogic AS 9.1 waits for some time & give this error on its console :-

FATAL ERROR: 'Could not compile stylesheet'</b>
i am not find any more details in the weblogic server error log.
the same application works fine with weblogic 8.1 sp4 + jdk 1.4 & tomcat 5.0.27 + jdk 1.5( without any error)
so i think the problem is not because of jdk, it something to do with weblogic!
does anybody has info about this.

Hi Yuri,
the problem with the ConfigComponent also should be fixed with Hotfix 1 (also worked for me).
See note 792995: Major problems fixed with this Patch 27 Hotfix 1: [...] Config : After upgrading to Portal SP2 Patch 27 the configuration iView did not work.

Java Script error with Mobile applications DW 5.5

I am working with DW 5.5 testing out Mobile application 'build and emulate' function. During the set up its asking me to configure the application settings. I already installed the Android SDK. And when I click on 'application settings' to get started I got this error message

I installed the SDK without after appliing that fix, however I ran into the above problem. I attempted to delete the cache file per the FAQ, but was unable to locate it on my Win 7 machine. That dispite being in admin mode and having all folders visable in explorer

I took your advice and upgraded, maybe, to IE 5.1.7, or at the least I reinstalled Internet Explorer.
I just want to say what a great blessing is the USB memory stick to people like me. I don't have, and I can't get, DSL broadband. If I could I would like a shot. Not having that I trundle to the local branch library, plug-in my memory stick, download whatever I want, and trundle back home with it. What would have taken a half day to down load on dial up, takes about 5 minutes at the library.
While I was there I also downloaded mozilla 1.3.1, the latest version of stuffit expander, talked to some nice people, and brought home a good book to read in the bargain.

When trying to generate the java from po.xsd in the first example I get two compile errors in the result :
"PurchaseOrderImpl.java": Error #: 454 : class {deleted root}.generated.impl.PurchaseOrderImpl should be declared abstract; it does not define method validateThis() in interface javax.xml.bind.Element at line 11, column 8

where {deleted root} represents parent packages in our source tree.
