JSPM Inbox path change

Hi ,
   Need to change the JSPM inbox path location /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in to another directory so the .SCA files can be taken from the new place.
1)Where can we change it
Is it possible to call JSPM from command prompt with new location
>go (/new location)
so the JSPM will take the files from new loaction rather than /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in
2) then again how can we change back to original location /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in
Would appreciate valuable inputs
Thanks a ton

Hi Daniel,
JSPM detects the location of the global EPS inbox directory by reading the value of the central instance profile parameter DIR_EPS_ROOT. The location of the global EPS inbox directory is the in subdirectory of this location. On most systems, the default value of the parameter is /usr/sap/trans/EPS and the location of the global EPS inbox directory is /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in.
It is recommended that you do not change the value of the central instance profile parameter DIR_EPS_ROOT unless you are advised to do so by SAP support. Otherwise, your system may stop working because many SAP NetWeaver components are using it.
However, in your case since you want to use it temporarily, you can give the command line option while starting JSPM as follows:
go u2018-config=/jspm/inbox=<path_to_inbox>u2019
Here path to inbox is the new directory that you were talking about.
So, this is the temporary solution that you are looking for.

    I have a template I've created, but whenever I attempt to

    background-repeat: repeat-y;
    background-position: center;
    background-color: #E8F1FA;
    While the page created from the template shows this path:

    background-repeat: repeat-y;

  • BEx Analyzer: Formula Variable with Replacement path change Month with Day

    Hi experts I'm facing this issue in BEx Analyzer.
    I need to have some dates in format DD/MM/YYYY in Index Structure, in order to do this I've created a formula variable with replacement path referenced to 0CALDAY characteristic.
    The formula works but it behaves in a strange way:
    if the day is higher than 12 the displaied result is correct (DD/MM/YYYY)
    if the day is lower or equal 12 the displaied result is wrong (MM/DD/YYYY)
    I'm on BW 7.01 SP6 and BEx Analyzer 7.10 SP12, excel 2007.
    anybody has faced this issue before?
    any help will be appreciated
    Daniele Cortopassi

    Hi Daniele,
    This seems pretty strange. Pls. redo validation with the dump data, as being a flat struture BEx does not apply any logic changes. May be it might have been MM/DD/YYYY format as in workbooks. Else you may change the property of 0calday display as "Text". Business Explorer > Display > KeyMaster Data/Texts > Texts (Plese check this option). If you are using some text table you may maintain the same using BI0/TCALDAY (Similar to BI0/TCALMONTH2). Guess it should be an excel based issue; if not you may try the same in WAD/Report designer to verify the nature of the issue. If you don't face these inconsistencies in WAD/RD then you may change excel formatting options. Lastly, please let us know if the infoobject has some predefined settings in RSA1 > Infoobject > (BEx) Properites.

  • File path changing my code?

    Hi,
    I am using labview 7 to take voltage readings from a discharge detector, convert them to digital using NI PCI 4474 card then hopefully integrate them. A program for a similar function has already been written for the same card, but when i copied this program to a different PC and changed the file directory, the wire from task out on the DAQmx Stop Task.vi to the DAQmx Clear task.vi "task in" gets broken, and I can't figure out why or how to solve this. I know I need to do quite a bit of development to this program for it to meet my specific needs, but this just makes no sense, can anyone please help?? I've posted the code below.
    Cheers

    Start by looking at the file path.
    You can write the base path in "Folder Path", such as C:\test_DA (or whatever you want).   The right-click the "Folder Path" control and select Data Operation and make current value default.  Just to try as a quick fix ..

  • Itunes / audio folder path change question

    Hello all
    I have many audio tracks (voice) that I used in my edits. I had to move my iTunes library to an external disk because of space. Now none of my audio tracks work because I guess the path has changed. I would rather not change the iTunes folder back if I could avoid it. Is there a hack I could do? A symbolic link in the iTunes folder perhaps pointing to the new location?

    Hi Renita
    You should be able to freely name the CHM whatever makes sense to you in the field.
    I recall you are also possibly involved in CSH development. So the file name could play a significant role in that. But even after you generate the help you should be able to rename it if you want.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Data Path Change Oracle.

    I want to add Hard Disk to existing system and  change the path of existing Data both SAPDATA1 and Oraarch for additional Space
    System is ECC5 IDES/Oracle 9.2/Win2003.
    Present path D:\Oracle\SID\oraarch
                        E:\Oracle\SID\SAPDATA1
    New Path  E:\Oracle\SID\Oraarch
                    F:\Oracle\SID\SAPDATA1
    Someone can help me with exact procedure.
    Thanks,

    Ho Manssor,
    If the number of datas too many and you think moving one-by-one using brtools can take alot of time. There is still one sulution to use, but this is litter risky.
    Here the step.
    1. SQL > alter database backup controlfile to tracefile; (dont type SQL >, its sqlplus command prompt)
    2. Goto /oracle/<SID>/trace/usertrace (see the newest trace file)
    3. Copy the file to some where
    4. Open the file and get only the part your want (RESET or NOT RESET) choice only one.
    5. Change all the path E:\Oracle\SID\SAPDATA1 to F:\Oracle\SID\SAPDATA1,
    you can use find & replace.
    6. rename the file to control.sql
    6. Copy all the file to the new path (dont move, later delete it after every run ok)
    7. Apply the new control file by running the control.sql from sqlplus
    8. SQL > @control.sql (dont type SQL >, its SQL command prompt)
    9. If every thinkg ok than you finish move the path.
    But once again this is step is a bit riskly as you playing with the oracle control file, and this can cause your database can't startup due to the error in control file.
    Please make sure you backup the control file and your database before do any thing.

  • Instr.lib path change in executable

    Hello,
    generated and executable using Labview 2010. It actually run fine on development computer.
    However, when running executable on other plaltform, the path for instr.lib changes to C:\instr.lib.
    The project only contains a packed library and the start up vi which calls VIs from packed library.
    How can I solve this issue?
    Ariscrate!

    Aristocrate wrote:
     Is there somthing to pay attention to when building executable that calls VIs dynamically?
    You just have to be careful about where your VIs actually are.  Using relative paths are typically the way to go.  It is best if you can use relative paths based on the Application Directory, which points either to the EXE or the project file.

    Changes wont take effect. this is because UWL is a WebDynPro iview but not a JSP iview, which you can identify based on its look and feel and on the message display format. Any ways, just go through the below document which shows how add a custom coloms to UWL...

  • Dimensions of paths changed when transformed to symbol

    I had paths that were snapped to pixel when created. When I transformed them into a symbol, (without aligning to pixel grid), their widths to be expanded by what appears to be the tiniest measure possible, causing for the path to be outside of a pixel and thus causing the object to bleed into the next pixel.
    Moving the paths to the symbol with align to pixel grid is not a preferable option because Illustrator transforms the paths, including turning angled corners into curved corners for some reason.

    Hi Kartik,
    The dimensions should not change ideally. Could you please share your project with us?

  • Paths change after serlvet dispatch

    I'm having trouble understanding something. While working on one problem I discovered another problem. I have a jsp within a directory called eng (eng/Login.jsp). This jsp has a login form which submits to a servlet which will authenticate and dispatch somewhere else if the user has access. This serlvet is not within the eng directory. If the user does not have access then the serlvet dispatches back to the original jsp. In this instance, when the servlet goes back to the login jsp, the images are not longer visible (ie. the server cannot find them). It seems like some path (or context) has changed with the dispatch, and since the image sources don't use absolute paths, they cannot be found. Why is the serlvet creating this problem only after going back to the jsp and how can I resolve it without making the paths absolute? Thanks

    When the browser encounters an image tag in the HTML page it goes to retrive the image based on the url in the src. If the src url doesn't start with an "/" then the browser assumes that it is a relative url and appends it to the url shown in the address bar (minus everything after the last slash). When you do a dispatch the browser is unawares of the change and still displays the last requested url in the address bar and uses this url to resilve any relative urls.
    A couple of solutions:
    1: Use response.sendRedirect
    2: use absolute urls for all img tags.
    3: Use the HTML base tag in the jsp head

  • Hyper-V Virtual Machine VHD parent path changed

    Hi all,
    As what you can see in the following screenshot, the parent path of a differencing VHD file changed from c:\clusterStorage\Volume1\ to d:\$Recycde.Bin\S-1-5-21...\$RNUGP30\Volume1.
    Here is more information:
    The current Windows Server 2012 R2 boot from a VHD file(native boot), and original C: drive now is D: drive.
    One some differencing VHDs have this issue. I tried to move the parent VHD to another folder in Volume1 and reconnect the differencing VHDs. However, the issue persist.
    The problematic computer is a node of a Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V Cluster. If I migrate the VMs with the issue to another node, the issue disappear.

    Hi Anna,
    As you can see in the following screenshot, I create a new differencing VHD with powershell and the path is strange.
    I rebuild the system with a new VHD file, however, the issue persist after I join the node to the cluster.

  • XCode 3.2.4 - issue after filename or path change

    steps to reproduce:
    this code use to work, it is designed to display a random image in a UIImage field in my app.
    Trying to troubleshoot an issue where I was getting "all black" displaying occasionally, instead of a random.jpg type image, I changed the filenames to make a folder full of random image's filenames even shorter, and changed the relative code to reflect the change:  now it NEVER works, although either version builds with no errors. The arc4random number (in blue) matches the item count in my folder full of random images.
    Is XCode having trouble clearning out the cruft or perhaps this is a bug ?
    -(IBAction)RANDOMPRINT
         //this is the old code which used to work
              int randomInt = (arc4random()%89) +1;
      //convert INT to string
              NSString *fileName = [NSString stringWithFormat: @"fingerprint%d.jpg", randomInt];
      //load UIImage from the filename
              UIImage *image = [UIImage imageNamed:fileName];
      //display UIImage in UIImageView
              [imageView2 setImage:image];
    -(IBAction)RANDOMPRINT
         //this is the new code which never works
      int randomInt = (arc4random()%89) +1;
      //convert INT to string
      NSString *fileName = [NSString stringWithFormat: @"print%d.jpg", randomInt];
      //load UIImage from the filename
      UIImage *image = [UIImage imageNamed:fileName];
      //display UIImage in UIImageView
      [imageView2 setImage:image];
    Tried:
    1. I checked the IB file and even rebuilt the "wiring", its done correctly, same way my other image fields work and they are operating correctly.
    2. tried doing the "clean all targets" thing but that didnt get it
    3. tried restarting laptop
    4. ran Repair Permissions ....
    Any other suggestion would be most welcome. Perhaps this is a bug ?

    ok circling back to my  original issue, I may have figured out the problem:
    my folder full of images had 3 char padding, ie:
    filename001.jpg
    filename002.jpg
    filename003.jpg
    filename061.jpg
    and as you can see from my code below that was not reflected in the code statement ala:
    (arc4random()%61) +1;
      //convert INT to string
              NSString *fileName = [NSString stringWithFormat: @"print%d.jpg", randomInt3];
    apparently you have to have it like this:@"print0%d.jpg"
    This doesnt strictly make sense to me since the "d" should just be a wildcard for anything that follows.
    But somehow adding a zero makes my code work again.
    As far as the renaming of Actions and Outlets it would appear under certain circumstances this is a known issue. Research it yourself, if you dont believe it.
    In my case, renaming an Action in my code, saving the Project, then renaming it back, disabled the Action. The expected result is that it would "work" again. That didnt happen. This was a rename of one action in the .h file, nothing more.

  • Wrong path changes in Itunes XML file

    hi there,
    My Itunes library (9.0.2) is stored locally on my macbook, although actual files are on a network attached storage that I access through AFP. This share is mounted automatically when the mac starts. Everything was working perfectly fine until a few days ago (no major change to the library or mac), when my iphone synchonization started to report impossible to read on the device files.
    After a few more investigations, I pinpointed some of the missing files, which were not missing but were replaced by other files (absolutely not linked to my media files).
    the <key>Location</key> in the xml file was, for example
    <key>Location</key><string>file://localhost/Volumes/David/docs/Me%CC%81dias/src/elodie2.jpg</string>
    where it should have been something like
    <key>Location</key><string>file://localhost/Volumes/David/media/music/albums/Damien%20Rice/9/09%20-%20Accid ental%20Babies.mp3</string>
    Does anyone have a clue about what went wrong and how to circumvent this in the future ?
    Thanks in advance

    Oliver:
    The simple answer is yes. Any changes you make to your RSS feed file (xml file) will eventually be updated by ITMS. Usually ITMS updates feed changes within 24 hours. However, the most recent changes I made in my feed files took almost 8 days before ITMS refreshed my listing.
    One issue is clear. If you make changes to your image file, there is a high probability that when ITMS updates your database record, your listing in ITMS will show the broken link image for awhile. I've changed my image file twice, and each time, my ITMS listing showed the broken link image. Eventually the new image shows up, but it does take a long time for this day and age.
    Good luck!
