Jst got a iphone 4s and my itunes is not picking it up at all i have tried many things from the internet but still not working
Please help ... Stressed new iphone user!!!!!!!!!! lol.
i got a new iphone 4s on friday, people told me i needed to connect this to the itunes asap.
i have had a ipod for 4 years and had no problem connecting to itunes before.
at first my computer would not find the iphone so i looked up tips from apple and other internet sources ... after deleting temp files my computer picked up my iphone but itunes didnt... i kept getting a pop up when going on to itunes saying "this iphone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the itunes installer to remove itunes, then install itunes again.
So i did i did this serveral times and the pop still keeps coming up and everytime i reinstall itunes i have to delete temp files for my computer to pick my iphone up. i contacted apple and an adviser sent me a link to follow to delete itunes and other in a order which i did several times and still not worked.
i tried my iphone on my mums computer and it has picked it up but in my mums itunes i want my itunes as i have purchased many songs. now my ipod wont even register to itunes. i also get a pop up from windows saying Host process for windows services stopped working and was closed ... i ahve followed all the advice for that even a clear up on my computer and still nothing. you can even find apple mobile device anywhere on the computer tho my mobile is charging when plugged in. i have tried everything that apple reccomends anyone able to help

Or the OP could try actually following Apple's documentation for troubleshooting and solving this very simple problem instead of uninstalling, reinstalling, installing old versions of software, etc...

If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart. -
i have an ipod touch 5th gen and when connected to itunes i get a message saying itunes was unable to load data class information from sync services. reconnect or try again later. anyone got any ideas? i've tried most things on most forums but still no joy

As deggie said, you are the victim of Activation Lock. Activation Lock is described here:

Either you need to contact the previous owner to release the phone from Find My iPhone, or if you cannot contact the previous owner, it is likely you received a stolen iPhone and it will be useless to you. -
Hey you all, I have recently updated me iPhone 5 to iOS 7.1 and I checked my reminders built in app, and it seems like everything I had in there was lost. I have tried many things, but none seems to work. I can no longer add in any remainders.
Have you failed to regularly backup the device to iTunes or iCloud? If so, the data is gone.
If there are backups, restore the most current one from prior to the data disappearing. -
I have restored my i phone 4 and trying to restore from the back, but it is asking for the password, but when I entered the Itunes password it is not accepting it, how can I restore the password?

You can keep trying to restore the device from backup until you remember the password. If you're having trouble, try:
Leaving the password field blank
Your Apple ID password
Your computer account password, if you have one
Email passwords you may have used
Your Wi-Fi network password
Website passwords you may have used
A password for hard-disk encryption software, if you use it

i have lost my iphone 5 the day before yesterday,and have tried many ways to find it, but in vain. i wandered if there are some useful solutions to such kinds of issues, because lots of people have similar terrible experiences. in china many people have lost ihones, which means you also expose all of your information you have saved in iphones. this is dangerous,because criminals can take advantage of those information. i think apple should talke more measures to stop the thieves from using apples so easily.

i have downloaded some songs from the internet and saved it on my desktop. but i do not know how to import the songs from that folder to itunes.
Just drag the song(s) to iTunes, if they are one of these formats (wav, m4a, mp3, mp4, wma etc) and they will appear under Music library.
If you have lots of music files, put them in a folder and go iTunes menu FILE, Add folder to library..... to add this folder at one go. -

You made a purchase and exhausted the credit on your card before it processed. All purchases are final. Contact iTunes Store support. You need to settle up before you can purchase or download anything else.

I am trying to connect my ipod classic to a tv (sony bravia 1080p) and have tried many cables including the Apple composite AV cable with the 30 pin connector on one end and three RCA connectors on the other. Audio works but video does not. The ipod classic screen says to connect to device when it is already connected. No success. Any thoughts?

Downloads - I want to open some PDFs/other file types from the internet but not have to save them. I can't figure out how to view them and close them without having to save them first. When I click on a file, the downloads box opens and depending on the setting, it auto saves the file or asks me where to save the file. I have checked around the internet, but still can't find any answers. How can I prevent incoming mail from interrupting the music I am listening to on my iPhone? That 1-second muting function drives me insane, especially when a lot of mail is coming in.
If you want to hear your music on iPhone without interruption, switch Settings > Airplane Mode: ON.
