Just bought a new laptop, windows vista and it say gateway and my ipod touch not showing up
I just bought a new laptop, Windows vista to be exact, i downloaded the latest version of itunes and my ipod is not showing up ? Anyone can help me

I would start with
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar

MyiPod classic won't charge. I just bought a new laptop with Windows 8 and when I plug in my iPod, iTunes will recognize it and sync, but will only charge during the syncing process. Any suggestions?

I must tell you, I am in the situation that MegsiPhone described and I am confused as to what to do. Here is what I have done thus far:
1. I installed iTunes on my new computer, I wen't ahead and set up a new library file locally, and pointed to my NAS for all the music and movies file in edit>advanced. Should I not bother and just keep my back-up in the cloud and are there disadvantages to this? For my son's iPhone, I can let him back-up to the old computer, I would assume that would remain good and I would not have any issues. Should I erase the back-up on my new computer, erase the appss or whatever and start from scratch? Kind of not sure how to handle, please help. -
i have an ipod touch and i just bought a new laptop, because i lost mine which has all the data of my itouch. i try to sync the music in the itouch to my new laptop but it asks me if i want to delete all my music before syncing what should i do?
You should use your backup copy of your computer to put everything on the new computer.
The sync is one way - computer to ipod.
The ipod will sync with one computer at a time. Syncing to another will erase teh content from the ipod. -

I just bought a new laptop and my ipod nano will not stay connected to my computer. When I first connect the ipod it starts to sync on my ipod but not on itunes. The ipod is initially connected to my computer, I can see it when I look on devices in my computer. However, when it finishes syncing it is no longer detected to my computer. I cannot transfer any of my songs to my new laptop because of this. I have tried to reinstall itunes, reset my ipod and use a different port. None of these things worked. Any ideas?

So I just bought a new laptop and few days ago. It's an HP. I have the iPhone 4 (8GB). So all my songs from iCloud are on my phone. I want to manually put them on my phone. All of my songs, videos, pictures etc. are on my new laptop. I went to apply the changes on iTunes when I selected "Manually manage music and videos". And a message came up saying "This iPhone is synced with another iTunes library on another PC. Do you want to choose to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library?" Under that it says "Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iPhone with the contents of this iTunes library."
So what do I do? I don't want to click sync and loose everything on my phone. I will no longer use the other comuter. I really need help.

You should be able to copy iTunes purchased music from the phone via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases
If you still have your old computer and you haven't copied your library over form it, then there are also some methods listed on this page about how you could copy it over : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527 - the page refers to music, but I've used the home sharing method to copy apps, films etc between computers. -

Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.

I have just bought a new laptop. I have itunes currently used on old PC. Do I need to download the up to date version of itunes on to laptop before I try to copy music library over to laptop or will itunes software automatically copy when I copy the library? I am not that knowledgeable IT wise but can manage slowly.

I just bought a new external monitor (ASUS), and it have DVI and VGA plugs. I bought the DVI adapter to connect with my macbook pro laptop. But the external monitor remain black… so I turn it off then turn it back on, it said "No VGA signal". Does it means I have to use VGA adapter instead? I am not sure how it work, I am very new to it… I hope you can help me out!

TS3989 Videos in iCloud photo streams cannot be played
All my videos appear in photo streams (own or shared) as thumbnails, but they cannot be played (the wheel turns indefinitely), on all devices in iOS7. On Apple TV 3 6.0, video don't even appear in photo streams. These videos are taken with my iPhone
