Just bought my first iPad and can't seem to connect even in the house. Have verified the netgear password but it won't let me connect..any ideas?
What type of encryption are you using with your wireless network -WEP or WPA?
If your wireless router supports both which it should unless it is quite old and you are using WEP, try switching to WPA which is much more secure than WEP which is important if you have a Windows PC or any Windows based device connected to your network.
In addition, when was the last time you checked Netgear's website to see if there is a firmware update available for your wireless router model that you haven't installed?

It shouldn't need formatting. That should have been done to make the RAID. If you need to erase the RAID:
1. Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
2. After DU loads select the RAID volume you wish to format from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
3. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Erase button and wait until the process has completed. -
Hi have just bought a Sony Xperia J and am not able to tether my ipad as I did with my Nokia C3. Why?

Is this phone another of the things that Apple does not support? How do I know before I buy a phone that it will be supported?How are you attempting to connect them?
Looking at the Experia J features it does seem to support Wifi Hotspot, but there is no mention of a Bluetooth hotspot. Different phones offer different things.
The iPad issues the message, because there doesn;t seem to be anything it can do with it. But this is not something apple is blocking its more a limitation or a non present feature of the phone.
From the Manual which I assume you've read through:
To share your phone’s data connection as a portable Wi-Fi® hotspot
1 From the Home screen, tap .
2 Find and tap Settings > More… > Tethering & portable hotspot.
3 Tap Configure Wi-Fi hotspot.
4 Enter the Network SSID for the network. Tap the Security field to select a
security type.
5 If required, enter a password.
6 Tap Save.
7 Mark the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot checkbox. The phone starts broadcasting its
Wi-Fi® network name (SSID). You can now connect to this network with up to
8 computers or other devices.
8 Unmark the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot checkbox when you want to stop sharing
your data connection via Wi-Fi®
When that is set up, you can use your iPad to look for the Wifi network the phone is providing and connect to it as you would any wifi network.

I bought bought a movie in itunes and want to copy it to a DVD to play on a DVD player. Can I or must it be an APPLE product? If so, am disappointed since I can buy music and I own it and I paid full price to own it.
You own it but you don't own the copyright.

I just bought songs on itunes and they came over but some with a ! and fadeed out .I was not able to put them in to my differt tabs i have. What is it doing and will the come over soon or do I have to do something?
No, something is wrong.
Login (in iTunes) to your account, in the pref's is a button to "report problem"
Use it and tell them.
They'll let you download again.

I have set the sort order to be by the creation date of the pictures and media I have in the catalog. But the pictures appear first, in chronological order, then some of the videos follow, in their chronological order, but the videos and pictures don't mix amongst each other in straight chronological order. How can I fix this?
I think it’s only possible to see raw and jpeg stills side by side e.g. in true chronological order after setting LR prefs. Your video files will automatically show up in the Video smart collection. So you can view them in one place regardless of which folders they are stored in. Otherwise move your images and videos into a new collection and drag them into the order you want, where they will remain fixed. Or use the library filter to define a date range.

Itunes help can not access the internet even when the PC is connected
When opening itunes help the error message is returned that says itunes help is unavailable because my PC has no internet connections, which is ironic since I am typing this! any help?
Thank you so so much! I would have never thought to move apps around on my iPad (truth be told the newsstand app is the most useless for me, I wish I could just delete it) and was super happy that iOS 7 allows you finally put that sucker in a file along with the rest of the junk apps I never use.

I cant get my Nano to sync to my computer. It is new and and I downloaded the latest Itunes last week. I hit sync and it makes a sound within a second and then says it is done. What can I check?

Get Info on your drive from the Finder - you'll see a dialog box like this:
If the Privilege is set to Read Only for the user, simply click on the "Read Only" and change it to "Read & Write".

Are the charger nd cable original Apple parts or third-party? There have been a lot of problems ith third party cables and chargers since iOS 7 - checks for compatibility with Apple specs.
Try another charger and cable to see if that makes a difference.
