Just got a new iphone and it wont connect so I can restore all my apps etc.. tried different cords and outlets but no good ..

Just got a replacement iphone 4 and it wont connect to itunes for me to restore things. It started to sync but then itunes froze so once I tried to connect it wouldnt do it .I tried new cords, new outlets, and new computer but nothing.. ahhhhh less stress when I had no phone i think ... help

Try unchecking the "Encrypt backup" checkbox. You will still have to enter a password, but you can go through a lot of passwords faster this way. If you ever had a corporate Ms Exchange account try your old domain passwords. Also try familiar passwords all lower case.
Finally, there is a professional password cracker that is made primarily for the law enforcement market by Elcomsoft. It will always be able to find your password, but it may take years to do it if you had a really good password. You can give it a list of passwords that you have used, however, and it will try variations on them, as well as dictionary searches. It's expensive, but there is a trial version that will give you the first two characters of your password.
