Just updated to ubuntu 11.04 which also updated firefox, but this new version has no card games in tools menu. Can I also install an older firefox just to use for free cell? It was the best version I've found and I am in withdrawal.

It seems that when I updated other programs it was attached and took hold each time.
I'm leery of all programs now and just want to make sure there is no .Net attached. When I checked the firefox.com website it had a link to Microsoft (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/963707) which is "How to remove the .NET Framework Assistant for Firefox" It's for "Click-Once" which I don't want... but I just wanted to be sure that I wasn't setting up for another battle with .Net.
Since I swore off Internet Explorer I have had fewer problems all around.

I have this problem on my MAC and it also seems to affect thunderbird. I've found that by clicking and holding your mouse on the icon in the doc then clicking on the application window seems to unfreeze. I know it's a frustrating experience and I would love a better solution.

Try contacting the app support of the particular app your using.
Most apps have an app support button on their app page within itunes.
If they wont reply within a reasonable amount of time and you feel like the particular app developer has cheated you, bring the issue forward to apple care.
Note that app developer have their own customer support.

The best version of Safari in the version 3 ?

When I upgraded 10.4.8 to 10.4.11 two years ago, I believe all I did was just download from Apple, install -restart. I don't remember doing any archive/install or things that take 1 hour or so to do.
Is it that simple ?
Also, I did upgrade directly from 10.4.8 to 10.4.11 (did not take 10.4.9 and 10.4.10 )
I mention that because in O.S I remember I had to upgrade 3 version, even if I kept it only for a few minutes, when I went from OS 9.0.4 to OS 9.2.2 (9.1 --> 9.2--> 9.2.2)

How to find and install the best version of Flash Player for a G4?

My dad has a Mac with OS 10.4.11. It's an 800 MHz Power PC G4 with 768 MB of memory SDRAM. His current version of Flash Player hardly works (video comes out as single images every few seconds) so we want to update it so he can watch You Tube and the like. We went to the page to install a new version that would work with OS 10.4 and received an error saying that that version of FP cannot be installed because Power PCs are no longer supported.
Can someone lead us in the right direction? We use Safari as our browser (it's version 4.0.4--kinda old, I think--could that have something to do with it?). We just want the best version of FP that will work with this set-up. Thanks.

i used the sound blaster 5. digital edition http://images.ausprices.com/images/product/550_-x-.jpg for about three years, it had?a great?surround mixer http://www.hardware-one.com/reviews/...ixer-5-big.jpg?with some amazing voice effects like chipmunks robot etc. Another big feature was the li've echo for microphone. i do a lot of online singing so this card was such a charm to sing with.
Not being able to use this card after upgrading to vista, thats a heartbreaker.
i have now already tested:
1the usb xf-i: dint help at all, no effects what so ever
2 pci audigy value: no special effects for mic, no echo for mic
3 usb xf-i surround 5.: close to what i want, no effects or echo for mic (even though the karaoke patch fixes the microphone delay)
I am just wondering: which one of the current creative product offers these same effects or better? does it come with small form factor pc support? which one of these will suit a laptop?
May be i have asked too many question but i really wonder who can take place of such a champion soundcard in a vista world

Very fond of Firefox browser and would like to know what the Best Version for my Lap-Top is suggested. Currently running Win Vista Business, Dell Inspiron 6400, 2GB ram, Intel 2.00GHz, 32-bit. Due to the fact this system is older, I have not upgraded to the the most recent 21.0 Not to mention the ad-dons that may or may-not be affected.
Current version is: 18.0.1 and seems to run very well. I have been getting notices of a New update available for 21.0 Not Sure why.
As an average computer user I hope to inspire some assistance to determine my best course of action.

Why would you not be able to use your existing Apple ID and iTunes account on a new laptop? If you authorized the computer - you should be able to use your existing account - unless you already had 5 computers authorized with the existing ID - and that was why iTunes would not accept the ID. However, I'm sure that you would have received a popup message from iTunes telling you that you had reached the limit.
I just received a new MBP and my daughter did as well. My entire family shares an Apple ID and we had no issues at all with my Apple ID and iTunes on our new computers and I did not have to sign up for a new account. Did you even try the old ID?

I have Lync 2013 and 2010 , still i didn't finish my migration completely from 2010 to 2013 .this is coexistence environment that contains both Lync Server 2010 and Lync Server 2013 .
There was no error's in my lync 2013 front end and back end server's and every thing was fine, yesterday I installed windows updated AND CU for my lync 2013 front end and backend server's .
later on after restarting both the front end and the back end server's i start having hundred's of these error's related to "LS Call Park Service".
so any advice for these issue ? and what is the effect for these error .

Just updated to ubuntu 11.04 which also updated firefox, but this new version has no card games in tools menu. Can I also install an older firefox just to use for free cell? It was the best version I've found and I am in withdrawal.
