Just upgraded and iPhoto said it has to upgrade library but keeps freezing. Have tried it too many times now and I need those photos ASAP HELP!!

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

HT1848 I get an error message when I try to transfer my apps and it says I have to authorize my computer. I have authorized my computer many times now and the error still pops up

I tried to sync my iPhone to my macbook and got an error message. It said some of the items purchased on my iPhone could not be transferred to my iTines library because I am not authorized for them on this computer. I have followed the instructions and authorized my computer. I did this many times and I still have the same problem.

Can you tell us what text is in the part that you can read ?
Is it a message from Firefox or from the Mac Operating System ?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I have two ext HDD intended to ensure I don't lose my photos( iPhoto 08). I disconnected my HDD temporarily when relocating.
I then synced my iphone and iPhoto it seems has rebuilt the library from the old copy of the library (2011. I have Time Machine but I can't restore the last 3y photos as I guess Time machine does not back up the other HDD.
Any chance of finding my treasured photos somebody?

Sounds like you have another iPhoto library someplace - under no conditions would iPhoto revert a library to an older one - you just need to find and open the correct one
Depress and hold the option key, launch iPhoto and use the resulting select library to look st the libraries you have

I am assuming the phone was working prior to you installing IOS 6? Did you use itunes to install IOS 6 or just run from the phone?
When I tried to do the Over The Air update to IOS6 on my iPhone 4, it errored out and I had to connect it to iTunes and select "Restore" from the summary screen after iTunes finds the phone is connected. If this works for you, it will go through a couple of reboots that take a few minutes to complete. It should then give you the option to start with a fresh new phone or to use one of your previous backups to load your contacts and other information, provided you have backed up the phone previously.

when I went to the library folder there was no receipts only

so I guess that means something is missing?

What's the precise text of the error message, please? (There's a few different ones I can think of that you might be getting.)

If you've disabled your iTunes account (is that what you mean ?) then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your devices by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on them.
If that doesn't fix it then contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

I am trying to update my CS 6 so it can read the RAW from my NIKON D7000 and do get error messages allthe time have tried for a few month now and have not been able and not been able to get any support help either and I think i is realy BAD What to do????

I've have done all of the tips Apple has suggested and have tried many times to restore it but it still won't work. IThe first time it went through the whole process and it seemed like it worked but it still showed the Screen that has a iPod power cord that has an arrow pointing to the iTunes thumbnail. And now i thought well maybe it is restored i just need to sync it to Itunes but no my computer said that i encountered a problem my iPod and that i need to restore it so I tried. And at the end of the first step, the Verifying Software step, it said that the device "iPod" could not be found, so Itried it again and again but it still came up with the same results so I'm screwed so if you can could you please help me i really need after a disabled iPod for about 2 to 3 months now. Now it shows every event three times. If I delete one version of that event, it deletes them all.
Then next time I open iPhoto it needs updateing and repairing again
