JVM Error 513 - Reset

I'm trying to restore my data, 'cause it was erased. After 10 password attempts, I lost it all.
Using my desktop manager I can't do it... and I can't use my phone.
How can I resolve that?

Yes, you will be able to using desktop manager, providing you has the device software installed aswell.
To check this go to desktop manager > Help > About Desktop Man > Device software  [in here you should see the software versions for the device, if its not there, you need to download and install the correct type from your carriers website)

  • 8310 JVM error 513 message.

    Hello, I just bought my blackberry 8310 from eBay. I had it working. But my niece accidentally put in the wrong password 10 times. Now the JVM error 513 message wont leave my screen, I uninstalled, and reinstalled the softwear but it wont go away. Does anyone have an idea of what I can do? It wont even let me turn off my device. Please help

    1. With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
    Do you still ge the 513 error after that?

  • JVM error 513 AARRGGHH

    Hi Everyone,
    Okay, I read all the previous post on this matter and how to wipe my handheld.  So, my screen started off white with the JVM513 error and reset on it, which I clicked on reset numerous times nothing happened. 
    Now I downloaded the software to wipe it out, and I ran it, it did what it needed to do.  Now my screen is still white witht the same error, so I thought maybe I need to install the devices software now, so I downloaded that and ran as instructed, and it claims it installed it will no problem.  I took out the battery to reset the whole BB.
    Now I re-installed the battery, I reconnected it to my desktop and I ran the desktop manager for the BB, it still shows it's not connected, I have to click on the word none and choose my device which it list as USB-Pin#.
    What the heck am I doing wrong.  ANYONE HELP PLEASE, I had all my clients info on this thing and I lost everything, I was lucky I sync before it all happened, I just want to get up and running again.

    The device software you are installing, is it the latest for your device from your Carrier the phone was made with??
    Check the vendor ID and make sure the vendor ID carrier matches the carrier software you are downloading.
    If so, close and shutdown desktop manager.
    Go to C Drive: program Files : Common Files : Research in Motion : App Loader : Loader.exe
    From here, go to the device application screen, select the check boxes for things u want, and uncheck for things you don't need. ie languages etc..
    Don't select the option to backup if it gives u the choice.
    When you get to the last screen, there will be an advanced box. make sure both the check boxes in here are ticked.
    BUT PLEASE CHECK UR VENDOR ID CARRIER MATCHES THE DEVICE CARRIER U DOWNLOADED.

    After doing what the support page tells me to do, it still won't work. I cant restore with desktop manager because the computer won't acknowledge the phone. I can't get the phone to get past the Error message screen. Even after a hard reset.

  • Please help!!! curve 8330 jvm error 102, phone will NOT connect with desktop manager

    can somebody please tell me how to fix my problem, phone is froze and i cant wipe it clean to start over or back up. picked up my phone last night and screen says "jvm error 102 reset" i spent several hours trying everything i could find on the net to fix this, but nothing has worked. i dont care if i loose all my stored info on phone, i just need to be able to use it. im in middle of job search and need phone!!

    I updated by Verizon BB Bold 9650 three days ago to OS 6.  It worked fine until this morning when I turned the phone on and received a 102 error on the phone.  I performed a re-install of the most recent OS6 using BB desktop software.  After installation I received this message:
    Your BlackBerry® Device Software is updated and you can safely disconnect your device.
    Warnings were encountered during the loading process:
    The following modules could not be loaded because their digital signatures were invalid.

        net_rim_bb_diagnostic.cod
        net_rim_bb_file_explorer_library.cod
        net_rim_bb_fileindexservice.cod
        net_rim_bb_medialibrary.cod

  • BB- pearl 8100 - JVM error 547

    Hi,
    I have Blackberry 8100 pearl model, it is giving me following error message ( even after hard restart, this msg appears  as soon as i insert the battery):
    JVM ERROR 547
    flash write failed: p=827a0000,s=4.
    I downloaded the version 4.2.2 desktop manager from the below link:

    After installing the new DTM ver 4.2.2, I performed the points mentioned in this link

    But when i try this , it fails in step 4, that is, I am not able to see any applications listed. It is displaying this message:

    I have not taken any back up of my phone, so i dont want to loose my data esp the contact list and messages. Earlier I had version 4.2.0.10 deskop manager now even after upgrading it to 4.2.2 it didnt help .
    I also tried selecting secure mode and reset but it didnt help.
    Please help me to recover. I shall be extremely thankfull.
    PS:  I am new to this forum, not sure If I am posting at right place, please redirect me to the correct thread if I am wrong.

    The first thing here is that your data is most likely already lost
    Second, have you downloaded your device software?  The device software is different from the
    Desktop Manager software.
    If you have not downloaded your device software you will need to do this and
    install it on the computer.  I suspect
    this is the reason you are getting  " The BlackBerry desktop software
    does not have BlackBerry Device software for the device that you have connected
    to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system
    administrator."
    To get the device software you will need to go back to the carrier site and
    download it. 
    If you tell me who your carrier is I can get you the download link.
    Once you have the device software you are going to want to follow the below

    If its just after installing that particular application , Its hard but first you should try to boot your device in safe mode .If it works then you can uninstall that particular application depending on your OS version from Options > Device > Application Management ,

    Here is the procedure to resolve:
    Step #1
    Before starting make sure that BlackBerry Desktop Software is installed on the computer.
    Step#2
    Make sure that you have installed updated device software installed in your PC. Check this link to get update device software from carrier OS download site.
    Step#3
    Users can perform a full or selective backup of the data using the Backup and Restore tool in BlackBerry Desktop Manager by completing the following steps:
    Connect the BlackBerry device to the computer running BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
    Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
    Double-click Backup and Restore.
    Select Backup to perform a full backup or select Advanced to perform a backup of specific databases.
    Choose a location to save the backup file, then click Save.
    Step#4
    To perform a clean install of the BlackBerry Device Software, perform the following steps:
    Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer and open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
    Double-click the Application Loader icon.
    Click Next to start the installation process.
    Type your BlackBerry smartphone password, if prompted, and click OK.
    Click the check boxes next to the names of the applications you want to load, and then click Next.
    Click Advanced, and then click the check box beside Erase all currently installed applications.
    Click Next.

    When the process has completed, the message The loading operation was successful will appear. Click Close to return to BlackBerry Desktop Manager
