KB21N - cross-compnay posting - BSET

dear all,
I have following Problem and I hope, someone can help:
We use Transaction KB21N and execute:
1. an direct activity allocation between two cost center in one compnay and different profit center
2. an direct activity allocation between two cost center in different companies
In table T001 we have entries in field MWSKV and MWSKA for taxe codes.
NewGL is avtive.
when the transaction run we have following result in table BSET:
for 1:
- 2 data sets vor sender and Receiver
- that's correct. summary of this two data sets are Zero.
for 2
- only 1 data set for the Sender.
- this is a cross-compny posting.
i think it must be also two data sets. 1 from the Sender compnay, and one for the Receiver. booth at the sender-posting.
thanks for your tip

Hi Enrico,
I am afraid this is the standard behaviour of the system, we may not be able to do much in this regard.

  • Cross Company Posting

    I have two sales area
    1000+10+10
    2000+10+10
    one document type ZOR
1000 sales organization is assign to co. code 1000
2000 sales organization is assign to co. code 2000
Is it possible if I am using any unique document type lets say ZOR for sales area 1000+10+10, system will post the entries on company code 2000,
due to same scenario at order level header level sales area is 1000+10+10, I cant want to change it, but at the time of invoice system post it on sales area 2000+10+10 or company code 2000.
    please reply.

       Dear Andrea Brusa Restelletti,
In rebate agreement, when I press the button "Mnaual Payment" system automatically generate the credit memo request for lets say 1000+10+10, but client wants to pay it to another customer although provision is booked in 1000+10+10 customer.
So process wants that at the time of change credit memo request user will change the sold to party, as it allows in va02.
but system cant allow to change the customer because actual customer is belongs to 1000+10+10 and the 2nd customer user wants to input is belongs to 2000+10+10, so it give the error message that customer "2nd what you enter" don't created on sales area 1000+10+10, because this sales area is already fix in the header of sales document type.
so for this process I want the options that system post the cross company sales gl.
hope you understand the scenario now.
    Looking for your feedback.

  • Cross Company Posting issue

    Hi All,
I am implementing Travel Mgt for a multi-company and multi-country client.
What the client wants to do is to use one company  to pay A/P balances of all the companies by country. So if employees work across companies, the normal inter-company posting will be created for payment, but only one company can make the payment.
Is this possible in SAP? How do I go about it. Please help.
    Thanks.

    Dear:
Check sm30, table V_001_Y, it seems 2000 maintained for CC 2000 and 5000.

  • Cross company posting for incoming payments on manual bank statement

Hello folks, could you please help Toine on this issue?
"We want to post incoming payments in the manual bank statement which
have to be cleared with open items of a debtor in another company code.
What customising settings do we need for such a posting? We are not
able to make the posting in our system."
    Thank you.

    Hi,
this answer does not help very much, the SAP message also told the same. In customising for transaction 1000, variant 0001 type 04000 is assigned (standard SAP delivery). Therefor I think that the postingrules for the manual bank statement are not correct.
We use two posting rules for a payment:
The first in posting area 1: 40 / bank account number debit; 50 / gl account credit posting type 1
Second in posting area 2: 40 / gl account, no credit postingtype 8
For a payment of a debtor in the same company code this works correct. But if the payment is destined for a different company code (the field for the different company code is in the variant for FF67), this doesn't work. Should we use other posting rules and if so which ones??
    Best regards,

  • Cross company code posting in assessment cycle

    Friends,
I developed one assessment cycle to send from Cost center A ( company code A with USD) to Receiver cost centers B ( company code B with CAD) and Cost center C ( Company Code A and USD), When I do the assessment cycle and check the details it is showing me 100% taken out of sender and assessed to B and C.  But when I check cost center report of Cost center A, the credit is not same as the debits ( i made the cycle to take out 100%). When i drilled down in the credits ( sent from assessment cost element), I see object currency to be different from transaction currency ( should be the amount that needs to be credited) even though Object and transactions currencies are in USD.
Any input on why object currency value will be different from transaction currency value even though both are in USD? Is it something because of cross company posting with different currencies? Thanks in advance

    Hi,
check SAPNET note 549430 it describes the system beahivour and what you can do.

  • KB21N, KB11N:how to restrict by cost centers users can post to

    Hello Gurus,
SAP is not restricting  Cost centers  which can used for internal activity allocation KB21N  and re-posting of primary cost KB11N.
Users should only be able to post to the authorized cost centers with the standard hierarchy.
Unfortunately KBXXN transactions are not checking K_CCA authorization object , which other-wise could have been used to restrict user based on responsiblity area ( cost center group)
Any one came across this scenario, i check all relevant OSS notes related to KB21N . Let me know if i missed any OSS notes
    regards
    SAPfreek

    Hi,
If you start the transaction KB**N (including KB11N)  you can only use restrictions on the controlling area by using the authority
object "K_VRGNG". (Please review T-cd:SU24 for the transaction)
The authority objects "K_CCA" and "K_ORDER" allows to use restrictions on single cost centers and orders but these two authority objects are not checked if you use one of the transactions KB**N It's not possible to use any other restriction than the controlling area for one of the above transactions.
There are two possibilities to extend the authorization checks in KB**N:
    a) using the validation tool:
An validation is nothing more than a check whether some customized   conditions are fullfilled or not. If not, the system will send a   self defined message ( Error, Warning, Information ).
You can find some explanation about validations in our documenation   and in the reference - IMG under:
Controlling - Controlling General -  Account Assignment Logic.
    b) using the user-exit (Enhancement COCCA002 and COCCA001)
See note 375725 for additional information
The enhancement is called up by function module K_ORGUNIT_AUTHORITY_CHECK. Because the standard authorization object
K_ORGUNIT does not at that point have any fields, this enhancement is the only one executed.
Please also review  note 370082 for information on the concept of the responsibility area in authorization.

  • Questions on Inter-company and Cross-company sales ordering process..

    Hi,
I understood the delivery plant and the sales org. is not in the same company code might be the process, but i want to know some details especially in SAP system how it is realized and processed, hope could kindly help me on below questions!! thanks!!
1)what is the difference between inter-company sales and Cross-company sales??
2)What is the general document flow and config. when in below 2 cases:
Suppose the 2 company code under same sap client system, then what kinds of company code, plant config within the system for inter-compan and cross-company, and finally what kind of document flow will it be in the system.
Suppose the 2 company code is under diff sap system, then what kind of doc flow in each sap system for inter-company and cross-company sales process???
    Thank you very much!!!!

    Hi,
Basically there are totally Three types of scenarios
    1. Intra Compnay Stock Transport Order
In this type of scenario, the stock is transfered between Two Plants which are under the same Compnay Code. The document type used here is UB. Here in this scenario the owner ship on the stock is not changed thats way there will not be any Invoice. The process as follows
    a. Create Purchase Order with document type UB - ME21N
    b. Create Replenishment Delivery with Document type NL - VL10B
    c. Picking and PGI - VL02N
Now stock will be shown in Transit, you can check this using T.Code MB5T.
    d. Do MIGO to receive the stock into ordering plant.
    2. Inter Compnay Stock Transport Order
This is called as Cross Compnay STO. Here the stock is sent from one plant to another plant which are in two different Compnay codes. That means the Ownership on the stock is changed in this scenario, that way there will be Intercompnay Invoice IV is reaised. Here the stock is just moved to one plant to another plant but not to any customer.
    The Process is as follows
    a. Create a PO using type NB - ME21N
    b. Create a Cross Compnay Replenishment delivery using type NLCC - VL10B
    c. Picking and PGI in VL02N
    d. Inter Compnay Invoice IV is raised by Supplying Compnay code to the Ordering Compnay Code - VF01
for this a customer created in Supplying Compnay who represents the Ordering Compnay and the invoice is raised against to that customer.
    e. MIGO to receive the stock in Ordering Plant
    f. MIRO to do invoice verification and do Vendor account update. This also can be done by EDI triggering, to update the Vendor Account. That means with this step, ordering compnay will update into its vendor account that he has to give certain amount to the compnay who supplied the stock.
    3. Inter Compnay Customer Sales
This is similer to the 2 process, but here instead of sending to Plant we will send the stock directly to Customer of other compnay code.
    The process is as follows
    a. Customer raises  normal sales order in another compnay code of type OR - VA01
    b. But if the plant of that compnay does not have stock, then in the order the plant is changed to other compnay code plant.
    c. Delivery is created in supplying Compnay against this Order - VL01
    d. Picking and PGI is done - VL02N
    e. But the stock is sent direclty to customer from supplying plant.
    f. Ordering compnay will raise normal invoice F2 to the customer
    g. Supplying Compnay will raise Intercompnay invoice IV to the Ordering Compnay.
But for all these process there are some configurations can be done, like
the material should be extended to both the plants
a customer is created in supplying plant who represents the ordering plant so that IV can be generated to that customer.
Supplying Plants should be linked to ordering Sales Org and Distribution channel. etc.
    Hope this is clear.
    Thanks

  • Trading Parner Not Inherited to Cross Company Balance Sheet Line item

    Hi,
I posted cross company document using document type that is already untick in field 'inter-company posting' and 'enter tpid'.
My accounting entries is as per below:
       Co1000   Cr Balance Sheet   $250
       Co1001   Dr Expense            $10
       Co1001   Dr Expense            $240
Upon posting, TPID only populated in the cross-company code clearing line item only. Not to all of the GL line item.
    However;
    1) If using the same set of data (cross company posting) whereby the Balance Sheet line is replaced with P&L account, the posted document will inherit TPID to all line item.
    2) If posting in single company's book, using related party customer account with the same balance sheet as per example above, TPID is inherited to the BS line item. example is as per below:
         Co1000  Dr Customer1001   $300
         Co1000  Cr balance Sheet    $300
Is there any reason or notes that can be implemented so that for cross company transaction that contains BS account, TPID is being populated in all line item?
    TQ.

    Hi,
Please check if in the control data of the vendor master "Trading Partner" is populated.
If yes, then if you remove the trading partner then you might not get this error.
If a trading partner is there, the system check the document type for Intercompany posting control and if its not there then the system gives such an error.
Changing a document type might impact all the business transactions relating to the document type that you are using.
However this might not be required in your scenario.
    Thanks,

    Hi Manasi,
As the name suggest, F-04 allows you to POST to one account by CLEARING another account.
For example you have a provision account which needs to be adjusted when the actual expense is paid -  this how it will be done -
Give the document header details, select "Transfer posting with clearing", enter the posting key (40), give the GL account (expense account as per the example) and go to the next screen.
Give the amount and other details for the line items and then select "choose open item" from the menu. The new screen will ask you to give an account where you will give the provision account (the account from which the open item needs to be cleared).
Press enter and you will get the list of open items for the GL account from where you can proceed like any other clearing.
Hope this clarifies. Do revert in case of any further queries.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Cross company payment

    HI Experts,
In My company Business wants the follwing secnorio, could any one can help me in this.
Under one company we have 7 co.codes (all are located in different countries), when we purchasing the goods from one vendor(xx) for all the co.codes using different purchase orders.
for example  the supplier has issued invoice number 123 in the amount of 1,000,000 with the following purchase order references:
    Co.Code       Amount
    1000             500,000
    3000     374,400
    5000     125,600
    Total             1,000,000
Currently, because of the system set up wherein purchase orders assigned under a specific company codes is not possible to be posted on a different company code.  Hence, our processors end up posting the same invoice in 3 parts.  Likewise, payment applications were done as well in 3 parts, in this example
if the abovementioned example is possible to be posted and paid via one document number (some sort of cross company posting).
All three co.codes are in different countries (Co.Code currency is differ) but using same fiscal year Variant and same chart of accounts and same controlling area. One Group currency.
    Regards,
    suda

you said you are having different POs to diff Comp codes and each PO has its unique reference so how is it possible that the invoice is posted in total.  its not going to happen .
but on the controlling side you can post them through allocations

  • Cross company stock transp - billing

    Dear All,
    I've created:
    1. PO
    2. Delivery with reference to PO
    3. picking and PGI for the Delivery
    4. GR for Delivery
Now, I would like to do billing, and I get the Delivery in VF04. The problem is that I receive error message and checking the log SAP say to me:
    1. The bill-to party could not be determined
    2. The payer could not be determined
I've found a page concerning this:
    http://www.saptechies.com/configuring-the-stock-transport-order/
I don't know what these mean exactly:
    A
'Configure SD for inter-company billing to enable picking up the pricing procedure for billing. Carry Out delivery through process delivery due list and billing through process billing due list.'
    B
'Assign Customer No. to the Purchasing Plant for the Inter-Compnay Invoice (but you need to assign this to the Sales Organization pre-assigned to the Purchasing Plant), IMG-SD-Billing-InterCompany Billing-Define Internal Customer No. by Sales Org***and by the way for the Invoice to work between Cross-Compnay Plants, you need also to have a Sales Org for the Supplying Plant and a Pricing Determination '
I don't know how to defone pricing determination - can it cause this error?
I defined customer master for plant1 under companycode2 and I defined customer master for plant2 under companycode1.
    In SPRO > SD > Billing > Intercompany Billing > DICNBSO I defined customer1 for plant1 and customer2 for plant2.
I don't know what shall I do. Could someone help in this issue?
    Thanks,
    Csaba

    Dear Anand,
    Thank you for your answer!
I created already customers for SPRO > MM > Purchasing > PO > Set up Stock Transport Order > Shipping Data for Plants.
Now, I created new customers for SPRO > SD > Billing > Intercompany Billing > Define Internal Customer... and I assigned:
    sales_org1 customer1 (0120)
    sales_org2 customer2 (0120)
And setting in SPRO > SD > Billing > Intercompany Billing > Assign Organizational Units By Plant was already done.
Still I'm facing the same problems:
    1. The bill-to party could not be determined
    2. The payer could not be determined.
    Thanks,
    Csaba
