Kdemod shutdown button missing in the menu

I have installed kdemod and not able to find the shutdown button
I see only logout, lock and switchuser, suspend to disk and sleep to ram
Can anyone suggest how to bring the shutdown button up

I found that kdm and gdm login manager shows the shutdown option
I am using slim login manager
That's pretty much the explanation. I haven't looked into it much, but my guess is it's related to slim starting things through ~/.xinitrc since I also don't get a shutdown options from a startx from cli. I don't know what gdm and kdm are doing that gives KDE that access though it might be possible to add that to slim.

I have tried to fix it by deleting the trash / deleted files as suggested in another thread but it made no difference. The delete key still works to delete things outside of Thunderbird (including here for example).
I have not uninstalled / reinstalled. I have rebooted a couple of times and it hasn't made any difference.
I did go through and delete a huge number of old emails a few days ago, but I have cleared out the Deleted folders and it made no difference.
All suggestions appreciated.

Right click on any of the other right panel headers in Slideshow module to open the context menu. You should be able to reactivate the Options panel from there.

Mine did it yesterday.
My internet connection has been playing up for 2-3 days, with loss of connection even though router still indicates it's connected.. AppleTV is still on network but can't see the internet for movies when this happens.
Also check you have correct country set as some won't allow movie rentals.

I updated 1 day ago via Adobe Connect and it is now missing from the menu drop down. As well as the other filters in that general area.

Why is the Flag button missing in the new iPhoto

I ugraded to iPhoto 9 and I really don't know why the flag button is missing in the bottom bar (beside share, edit etc.). It was there all the time before and one could easily flag any open photo (and I did it very often). And there is enough free space for that. These kind of "improvements" are beyond my understanding (( (or am I missing something ?)

Send button missing; no view menu for compose window to get it back.

I have a client who uses Thunderbird for SMTP email with his local ISP. Today he complained that his send button is missing. I've scoured the threads about this and have found that the solution has to do with the View > Toolbars option but I have no menu at the top of the compose window. I have him pressing ctrl+enter to send his emails but this is a temporary fix.

You need the File Menu and the Composition Toolbar in the "Write:" window (composition window). Open a "Write:" window. If the File menu is missing, press the F10 button. When the File Menu appears, 'right click' anywhere in the File Menu area, then click (select) "Menu Bar" and "Composition Toolbar." The 'Send' button is on the 'Composition Toolbar.' Be aware that if these Toolbars are not 'checked' (selected), they will not appear at the top of your "Write:" window.
Alternatively, you can open the "Write:" window, press F10 or the Alt key. When the File Menu appears, click the View menu, point to Toolbars, then click "Menu Bar" and "Composition Toolbar." You can also select other toolbars to add them to the Write window, or deselect them to take them out.

'Save layout' button missing in the ALV report layout screen

     In one of our ALV report the 'save layout' button is missing in the report output screen.i have used the OO concept for creating the ALV output and not the function module.I have attached the code below used for creating the ALV grid.

Pass <u><i><b>A to I_SAVE</b></i></u> parameter. That will give the options to the user to save the layout outs.
I_SAVE = SPACE
Layouts cannot be saved.
I_SAVE = 'U'
Only user-defined layouts can be saved.
I_SAVE = 'X'
Only global layouts can be saved.
I_SAVE = 'A'
Both user-defined and global layouts can be saved.

Why is the Mozilla logo missing from the menu bar?

I believe that a LOGO was on the very top of my home page, which let me know which browser I was using. It appeared either before or after the menu bar.

It was in the Titlebar which is now hidden by default. If you open Customize via the 3-bar button on the right-side of the Navigation Bar and then select Customize, you'll find a Titlebar button in the lower-left corner - hit it to turn the Tilebar on.

Why is the Refresh Button missing in the Firefox upgrade I just got??

There has always been a Refresh button in the toolbar at the top. It is not there anymore and I want it back. Please supply it.

If you look at the very end of the address area, after the star, you should see a reload button. Actually, it changes depending on the page status: after loading, it's reload, during loading it's stop, and if you start typing into the address box, it turns into go.
If you prefer separate buttons, you can use the Toolbar customization feature to move the combined button away from the end of the address box and/or split the reload and stop (change the sequence to prevent them from recombining).
View menu > Toolbars > Customize
If you have the orange Firefox button, tap the Alt key or press F10 to display the classic menu bar.
In some cases, it is easier to press Ctrl+r or the F5 key than to find the little button.

Bigger buttons and getting the menu into its container

Hi everyone
Im trying to make my buttons look bigger but am not having much luck. They only get bigger by adding padding, is there not a way to set a width and a height for each...? I have tried but cant figure it out.
I am also having some trouble getting my buttons into its container. The 'nav' just looks like a black line running through the back of it. I have used black to identify it.
Ive tried to do it in HTML 5.

Im doing it locally and dont have a test page yet.
There is no other code besides this menu code at the moment. It is not in a wrapper div or anything yet.
I am trying to do my site bit by bit and then put it together at the end. If I try to do it all in one go I start feeling a bit bogged down.

Styles keep missing in the menu

I have a problem with the Style menu in Contribute. I have linked to a special stylesheet for the Publisher, in which I have 14 rules (classes) plus 5 rules (tags). From the 14 rules with classes there are 6 that keep missing in the Style menu. Whatever I do, they keep missing. Of course I checked if they are in the right file, which they are: if I remove one of the styles that do show, it also is removed form the style menu. If I change the names of the missing styles it makes no difference. If I give them exactly the same declarations as the ones that do show it also makes no difference. If I change the order of the rules: no difference. Also the stylesheet is validated, there are no errors. Can anybody tell me what might be causing this?

I don't know why that would cause the styles to disappear but at least now they are back. Hope this helps anyone else that ran into the same issue.

How do I stop the alt button from showing the menu bar?

I use ALT as my push to talk button on multiple voip programs. When in firefox 6, pressing ALT makes the menu bar show up and disappear. I'd prefer to find a way to remove this shortcut from firefox. Changing the shorcut for push to talk on all of my voip programs and breaking a habit would be less desirable.

"Alt", I believe, is at the system level, utilized by other browsers and other applications for same purpose. Your VOIP might give you an option of Alt-Gr (Alt on right-hand side) or a choice of any other key. Right now either Alt key works in Firefox.

NWDS-perspective "Process Composer" is missing in the menu - why?

Hi,
after installing "EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment 7.1 - Preview Version" from SDN and after updating NWDS I can find about 20 different "NWDS-perspectives" via the menu (Window -> Open Perspective -> Other), but one is missing: the Process Composer for BPM.
Does anyone know how to install this feature?

Change button missing in the created SC

Hi Gurus
User 1 has shopped for user 2, who is having the approval limit and created the Shopping Cart. The SC is in the status of Awaiting approval.The user 1 is trying to change the data in the created SC, but he is not getting the "Change" button.
Also the user 2 is trying to Change the data in the SC before approving the SC, he is also unable to find the "Change" Button.
The user 1 is having the Security parameter BBP_WFL_SECURITY value as Low and the user 2 is having the Security parameter BBP_WFL_SECURITY value as High.
FYI, if the approver rejected the SC, then also the creator is not getting the Change button. And if the SC contains any error to convert to the follow-on documents, then user 1 & 2 are able to get the Change Button.

Hi Sada,
You can check if badi BBP_WFL_SECUR_BADI is active. After a support package, this badi became active by default. If you do not have your own logic within this badi you can deactivate it.
The sample SAP code always return "0", which does not allow the user to change the document.
