Keeping JMS Messages in a dummy domain during deployment and then process

Hello Everyone,
I am back to deployment of java application on Weblogic server in my new project. It's been a month of sundays since I used weblogic server. Lot of things got changed for good. I have following requirement. I have been thinking about this requirement for a day or two, could not get any idea or helpful information from the internet.
During the deployment, in the production domain, all the external bridges are stopped, so the messages coming to them are stored in a dummy domain which is just an exact replica of the actual domain containing the same structure of jms queues. After the deployment, when the actual domain is up and able to process the messages, the messages stored during outage have to be moved to the corresponding queues. This can be carried out by creating bridges again between these domains, but we are not sure of the bridge configuration is in place as amdocs told that they are doing using scripts. So they are asking me to develop some scripts which need to move messages from one domain queue to another domain queue with a option of no.of messages to be moved at a time. "
Any help or idea on this requirement from the experts of this forum is highly appreciated. Thanks a ton in advance.
regards
Siva

Digging back in time and noticed this post had no response. There are several options:
* Write an MDB to do the task (a small amount of code -- so a recent WL MDB programmer's guide for examples). Deploy the MDB to the target domain that receives from the source domain. Undeploy the MDB once all messages are transferred.
* Write a java client program.
* Configure and use bridges.
If you want to preserve message-id and timestamp, you can leverage the WLMessageProducer "forward()" verb.
Hope this helps,
Tom

  • On new MBP I keep getting message that I need to shut down and then restart

I just got a new 13" MBP. I took the old 500GB 7200 rpm HD (which was operating perfectly) out of my old 13" white MB and put it in the new MBP. Now at boot I get as far as a gray screen, then I get a black screen with text in several languages saying that I need to shut off and then restart the computer. I went through this drill 5 times with no indication that anything was improving. I am sure that the edge card connector is fully seated on the old HD. Any ideas as to what is happening here?

The Operating System for the old and new machine is different, you can't just swap drives like that, what you're getting is a Kernel Panic.
You need to install the OS from the install discs that came with the new machine onto that hard drive. Boot from your new install DVD (hold c at start) and do an Archive Install of the OS so it saves your user data.

All of a sudden I keep getting message that my computer must be restarted and it freezes. I restart it and within minutes it happens again. This is a 27 inch iMac with latest system and software. Any ideas of what is wrong and how to fix it?

10.7.5 is not the latest system, 10.8.3 is. However your message sounds like  a Kernel Panic, does the message look similar to About "You need to restart your computer" (kernel panic) messages? If so, then if you can get the machine to restart normally then please post the Kernel Panic Report which you can find by following directions in How to log a kernel panic. Please post back with the KP log, and we can take a look. However if the machine continues to not restart then my guess is a hardware failure suck as a hard disk or failed RAM in which case you should take it into your local Apple Store or AASP for repair.

You can kill these 2 task by opening the Windows Task manager (CTRL+ALT+SUPPR)
Then find the processes named :
    Adobe QT32 Server
    Adobe Dynamic Link Manager
Kill theses 2 tasks (right click then END OF TASK)
If you got many of theses tasks, kill each.
Then uninstall Premiere. It should be OK

    Hi Martha Leal Tapia,
Yes this issue was resolved. I had to add the below two parameters in the instance profile and continue the installation.
    icm/server_port_1 = PROT = P4, PORT = 5$(SAPSYSTEM)04, HOST = <full hostname as in the /etc/hosts file>
    icm/host_name_full=<full hostname as in the /etc/hosts file>
Note 1158626 P4 connection to ICM on machine with multiple IPs fails.
You can refer following SAPnote # 609603 for the above concepts although this refers to old release."

I want to use oracle ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) to read XML messages from JMS queue and then process it.. i also want to process and validate the data in it....
Could anyone please tell me the steps to achieve the same. I tried some ways which i got on OTN, but not able to implement it exactly...
As i m very new to ODI, it will be great if you provide detailed steps..
Thanks in advance for your help....

    Hi,
Were you able to do it? We are facing this same issue now and, despite the fact the docs say otherwise, it does not seem to be a trivial task.

  • TS3694 My phone keeps freezing, the apple sign appears on the screen and then it freezes again and repeats itself.. has anyone had this before? it's also not letting me restore it from iTunes, it keeps coming up with error (9) or error (14).. help?

My phone keeps freezing, the apple sign appears on the screen and then it freezes again and repeats itself.. has anyone had this before? if so, what is it? & it's also not letting me restore it from iTunes, it keeps coming up with error (9) or error (14).. help?

    Hi there Holly N,
You may find the troubleshooting steps in the article below helpful.
Resolve specific iTunes update and restore errors
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3694
    Configure your security software
Related errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006, 9807, or 9844. Sometimes as a result of this issue, a device might stop responding during the restore process.
Check your security software and settings, which can block ports and prevent connection to Apple servers during update and restore.

I just subscribed to IHome but when it tries to gather information about my music library, I get an error message that my Itunes is not responding and then it shuts down. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks so much but none of that helped.  It was driving me crazy because it would back up another external drive.  I just changed the name of the drive from iPhoto/iTunes Library to Media Libraries and IT WORKED!! I guess for some reason it didn't like the drive being called iPhoto or iTunes ???? I don't understand but I have tried so many solutions and exchanging things out but the name change did it????!!!
Thank you for your help and replying to this.  Guess I made my own issue!

Mac OSX 10.6.8 running Photoshop CS5. My hard drive went belly up. Installed a new one and then tried to install Photoshop from my backup. I get an error message 6 telling me to uninstall Photoshop and then reinstall from the original software. But I bought from Adobe online. How do I go about this?

Yes, the Old Master file has a folder for each year where I find all photos from that specific year. I am attaching a screen shot of the file.
In the meantime i have managed to download all photos (it did not download any video files though in mpg, avi, 3gp, m4v,mp4 and mov format) to a new iphoto library. Unfortunately the photos are quite mixed and often doubled up. I ma considering to purchase iphoto library which checks all duplicates in iphoto. this will save me a lot of time. What do you think?

  • I clicked "yes" to upgrade iTunes and now it doesn't work. I get an error message stating my computer is missing MSVCR80 and then a message stating Error 7 (Windows Error 126). I've tried reloading iTunes twice. What can I do?

I clicked "yes" to upgrade iTunes and now it doesn't work. I get an error message stating my computer is missing MSVCR80 and then a message stating Error 7 (Windows Error 126). I've tried reloading iTunes twice. What can I do?

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

Do any informative dialogs appear after you restart it?
Power or other problems related to unexpected system sleep, shutdown, lights or fans call for an SMC reset. Read all the steps.
    Before Resetting the SMC
Try each of the following steps in this order before you reset the SMC. Test the issue after completing each troubleshooting step to determine if the issue still occurs.
Press Command + Option + Escape to force quit any application that is not responding.
Put your Mac to sleep by choosing the Apple () menu from the upper-left menu bar and then choosing Sleep. Wake the computer after it has gone to sleep.
Restart your Mac by choosing the Apple () menu from the upper-left menu bar and then choosing Restart.
Shut down your Mac by choosing the Apple () menu from the upper-left menu bar and then choosing Shut Down.
Resetting the SMC on Mac portables with a battery you can remove
    Shut down the computer.
Disconnect the MagSafe power adapter from the computer, if it's connected.
Remove the battery (to remove the battery - click here: MacBook or MacBook Pro).
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
    Release the power button.
Reconnect the battery and MagSafe power adapter.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Still having problems? Replace steps 6 and 7 with the following:
Reconnect just the MagSafe power adapter.
Press the power button to turn on the computer,
    Then reconnect the battery.
Resetting the SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own

On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time. The power adapter indicator light will cycle off / on once.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.

  • My ipod touch 4 keeps puasing my music for like half a second and then it starts playing again happens with all songs at random times

My ipod touch 4 keeps pausing my music for like half a second and then it starts playing again happens 2 to 3 time in any song

    Hi, Radical2
This is not a complicated problem. And you can easilly solve it. Here is the way about how to recover music from iPod.
Connect your iPod to your computer to restore custom ringtones and ringtones saved to the computer. Click the "iPod" button in iTunes, or select your iPod in the sidebar if you enabled the option to show the sidebar. Select the "Tones" tab, check the box for each ringtone you want to transfer to your iPhone, and then click "Sync." Sometimes a 3 party tool such as Data Recovery may help you in a easy way.

  • JMS Messaging Bridge ( communication across domains)

    Following is the Scenario
We have 2 Weblogic domains, Domain A ( running on port 2000) and Domain B (running on port 3000)
In Domain A I want to look up a Queue which is in Domain B and send a message on that that Queue.
So the requirement is to send message from one domain to other domain ( i.e sending message across domains )
I have read on forum that this is possible using JMS Messaging Bridge. Can any body please guide me or provide some sample code for this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    ~Yogesh

    Hi
You can define the same queue in both domains.
In domain A ( the source ) create the Origin of bridge
In domain A too ( the source) create the destination of bridge ( pointing to address and port of domain B)
In domain A create the bridge ( joining source and destination )
In domain A , deploy the connector ... a .rar file
    Best Regards
    Jin
PD: this doesn?t affect the code of your app.
