Keeping Unique 1D Size in 2D array

Is there a way to force Labview to maintain the original array dimension independently from one another when creating 2D or even possibly 3D arrays?  It appears to be autosized every set of inputs to the maximum size.  But I want to maintain each set of array size independent from one another.  How do I do that?

Sure.  Here is a screenshot showing buffer allocations.  Note the extra copy of the cluster using the traditional extraction of a single element from the array of clusters of arrays.  It is not there if using the In Place Element.  Code is is LabVIEW 8.5 (when the In Place Element was introduced).
Note that in LabVIEW 2009, the buffer viewer will show a buffer on the output of the index array in the In Place Element.  This buffer is not a full copy, but a static allocation to handle indexing an out-of-bounds element.

Hello.  How do I keep the actual size of a photo when adding to a Keepsake?  Used to do this but have forgotten how!  Need help please!

    Here is my suggestion:
Open a blank, new file (File>new>blank file) size 8.5x11"
    Open the collage
    Go to Select>all
    Go to Edit>copy
Go back to the blank file created in step #1
Go to Edit>paste. The collage will be on its own layer
Access the move tool, and with the corner handles resize the collage. Using the corner handles should preserve the aspect ratio. If you open the rulers, you will have a point of reference as you go along.
Print a draft copy to see if it will be suitable in the frame..
Please report back with your progress.

  • Is there a limit on the size of an array?

    I have two arrays: array1 and array2.
I have a function that is iterating through array1. If an item in the array matches a particular condition, then that item is pushed onto array2. I can successfully push up to 19 items onto array2. However, if I attempt to push any additional item on top of the 19 items already in the array, then that push fails. Can I not have more than 19 items in an array? Is there any way to increase the size of the array?

If you are seeing only 20 array elements in the Data Browser it does not mean that the array is limited to 20 elements*. You are perhaps seeing a display restriction in the data browser. Have you checked the actual number of elements in your final array by testing its length property?
You can change the number of elements displayed in the Data Browser in the ExtendScript Toolkit Preferences on the Debugging page.
*Note that there are 20 items shown as the first one has an idex of 0.

  • Unique Font Size in R12 Generated PDF Report

    Hi all,
Recently we upgraded from 11i to R12 and got an issue of unique font size in PDF report. As stated in metalink 859780.1, at the very beginning we got Symbol font in PDF. Although they're non-readable, I still can see various font size in the PDF report, e.g. smaller font in the remark region and larger font in title. However, after following the above note to change it back to use Courier font, although I can see normal font now, all fonts in the PDF has only one size and which is much bigger than that in 11i. So most of the text can't fit in the border. Subsequently I tried to update several files including uiprint.txt, uifont.ali, datap462.ppd and using different combination (both pdf subsetting and non-subsetting), I still can't fix the issue. Then I also tried to set IX_PRINTING to use pasta, however, I hit another issue (can't font file specified in pasta.cfg). But since I haven't utilized pasta in 11i neither, I'll try to stick to the approach of using native PDF instead of using pasta. Is it an known issue of the Oracle Report 10g? Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

    Ricardo

    Ricardo,
Have you bounced the CM after implementing the new changes?

I exporting a video from Adobe Premiere CS6 today, and I noticed the video was about 1/2 times smaller  than the original video I put in. I then uploaded the video on YouTube, and the size was still the same. I tried to change the preset to 1080p 29.97, 1080p 25, etc. and the same with 720p, and 480p, but the size only changed slightly.

  • Keep exported image size in HTML as shown in PDF

I have many inline formulas (imported from Word file via using mathtype) in PDF article made by ID. But when I export the articles as HTML, the images for formulas become much larger than shown in PDF version. How can i keep the exported images to the same size as they are shown the PDF file? I know I can edit the html file to specify image size, but that is the ideal work flow.
    Thank you.

    Hi Eric,
If i'm getting you right. you have the formulas placed as the images.
So, to keep the size fixed, In HTML export Options in image tab keep the image size as fixed.
    Snapshot to refer:
Now you have image of same size as it appears in InDesign.

    Hi
I am getting the following error when I run Print Preview on the CR Sales Invoice:
"A subscript must be between 1 and the size of the array ........."
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

    Thanks Gordon
However this is a fresh install and the default Crystal SI layout provided by SAP and I would have expected it to work.  It makes it seem like an installation problem.
Do you know where the *.rpt files as stored by SAP and where I could maybe get a new Crystal SI to test?
    Thanks

  • Two instances of quirky behavior: array size of empty array and tab control freeze

    LV 7.1
Array size of empty array. Adding empty arrays to an array of higher dimension produces a fantom array of non-zero size.
Tab control freeze. An event structure with checked 'lock front panel until the event case completes' option permanently freezes the front panel in certain special circumstances.

Whew, let me look at this tonight after I activate the 4D module in my brain.
(I think it makes sense, though ) Generally I look at the product of the dimensions array to determine if an array is empty. You can initialize a multidimensional array with some dimensions at zero and it is reproduced nicely in the array size output. Also the "Empty array" tool correctly identifies it as empty, even if some dimensions are nonzero.

  • Oracle DBSL -  Determine / Define size of fetch array

    Hello guys,
i have a question about the Oracle DBSL and how it determines the size of the fetch array.
I am refering to the following documents / documentations:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/86a0b490-0201-0010-9cba-fd5c804b99a1
    Quote:
As long as you do not program an UP TO ROWS in ABAP, the database gets as many table rows as possible per communication set (as many as fit in 32k).
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/d1/801f96454211d189710000e8322d00/frameset.htm
    Quote:
You have to specify the size of an array before runtime. However, because you cannot know the size of the dataset the system will return, you must define a very large array to avoid an overflow.
To circumvent this problem, the SAP Basis System translates ABAP Open SQL statements into Embedded SQL. To do this, the system defines a cursor.
Ok but the translated embedded SQL code has also to specifiy an array fetch size (how many rows are retrieved by one fetch).
Is this a profile parameter or is it really calculated (how many rows of a specified table would fit into 32k) dynamically in the DBSL?
    Regards
    Stefan

    Hello Michael,
i am refering to the documentation of DEFAULT_SDU_SIZE:
    > Use the parameter DEFAULT_SDU_SIZE to specify the session data unit (SDU) size, in bytes to connections.
    > session data unit (SDU)
    >A buffer that Oracle Net uses to place data before transmitting it across the network. Oracle Net sends the data in the buffer either when requested or when it is full.
Ok, that controls the transmit moment in the network layer.. but not the number of rows which are returned by a single FETCH call (through the OCI). (For example in sqlplus it can be set with set arraysize XX)
I have tested also a little bit around with different sap standard tables in an ERP 2005 system.
I have activated a SQL Trace (ST05) and done a "select * from <TAB>" via SE16 (no count limit!).
In my tests there were fetched different number of rows -  take a look by your own:
    Time  Object    Operation  Rows   Returncode
    2.451 T100       FETCH     321      0
    1.915 T100       FETCH     321      0
    1.912 T100       FETCH     321   1406
    1.246 E071K      FETCH     109      0
    1.218 E071K      FETCH     109      0
    1.155 E071K      FETCH     109      0
    T100 (4 VARCHAR columns)
E071K (14 columns of different types)
So it seems like the DBSL dynamically calculates the number of rows which can be returned by a single fetch call based on the row size (number of columns and column sizes) and other unknown factors.
If this is true, it would be really great and nothing have to be done by us (the customers!).
But if the DBSL dynamically calculates the max. number of rows per fetch:
Why is a "SELECT * FROM <TAB> INTO <ITAB>" preferred - the SELECT Statement in a LOOP (like in the example) is also fetching the max number of rows by each fetch, or?
    The example: http://sap.mis.cmich.edu/sap-abap/abap04/sld017.htm
That was only a notice on some small tests, which i have done.. maybe someone knows it in detail.
    Regards
    Stefan

  • Keeping images full size when uploading from "Photos" after editing

Is there any way that I can edit photos in the ”Photos” app and keep what I have edited and also keep them full size when I upload them Flickr?

Highlight the images you wish to export.
Ctrl-Shift-E to open the export dialog.
Change the top drop-down list to Hard Drive.
Choose a location for the files in the Export Location section.
    Adjust file naming if necessary.
In the File Settings section make sure you have the correct output format selected and choose a quality (85 is fine for most things and keeps file size manageable).
Make file size changes as appropriate in the Image Sizing section.
If you are downsizing a lot then consider adding some output sharpening.
    Click Export.
    Hopefully that covers most things.

What should the ARBORPATH be? I am getting the same message, and the excel add in continues to fail. I know it is registered, but are the files in the wrong location? Where should the files be installed or copied?
My workstation arborpath is labeled: C:\Hyperion\products\Essbase\EssbaseClient
The .dll files are in the following location: C:\Hyperion\products\Essbase\EssbaseClient\api\redist
Should the workstation arborpath point to the api\redist ?

Upon further investigation, the Oracle Essbase Release 11.1.1.2 indicates the "known problem" and fixes it with this release.

    Hi Experts,
When I'm trying to run the report I'm getting the error, "a subscript must be 1 and the size of the array". Below is the formula.
    Split({@newproj},",")[1]
Can anyone help me in identifying what went wrong???
    Thanks in Advance,

    Hi Samrat,
Looks like the formula : {@newproj}, is blank.
    Try this:
    If {@newproj} = "" then
    else
    Split({@newproj},",")[1]
