Kernel panic I've tried everything I could HELP!!

Hi guys,
I've been getting the undesirable and disgusting kernel panic. I've tried everything I've found on the other kernel panic threads: PRAM, SMC, thermal compound replacement, drives checkup and everything seems to be working fine.  I get this panic when I am downloading or transferring data.  PLEASE HELP!

Macbook pro late 2011.  Mountain Lion OSX. 8 Gb RAM 1067 MHz DDR3.   2.53 GHz Intel Core i5  15".
Thank you!

Are you certain that you've a 15" Late 2011 MacBook Pro? That model uses 1333MHz RAM (I have the same model.) If you've 1067MHz RAM installed, that could surely cause a kernel panic.
Also, you need to remove the "pacesupport" kext. You can download the free "EasyFind" from the Mac App Store and search for it and Trash it and reboot.
Check your RAM first but definitely remove that kernel "com.paceap.kext.pacesupport.snowleopard 5.9" extension.

SMS is a carrier feature, what did your phone carrier say when you contacted them about your issue?
Double check you have MMS turn on in message settings.

  • SharePoint Slow - Tried everything I could find

Our SharePoint 2010 site has been running very slowly all week. We installed updates on the server and rebooted this past weekend if that matters. It's slow site-wide and it also takes a long time to open files (.xlsx, .docx, etc.). We don't have many
files, and each library has less than 20 or so files.
SharePoint runs on a VM with SQL installed on it as well. It has four virtual cores running at generally 1-5% usage and 6GB RAM, with 3GB in use typically. There is 400GB free on the VHD.
I've tried everything I could find online on how to fix or increase performance.
    No custom web-parts or CSS
There is no search service or crawling running. One suggestion was to disable the Search Service Application, but that's missing from my Central Admin page.
There is no anti-virus running on the server.
The database growth thing is set fairly high.
I exported a certificate (SharePointRootAuthority.cer) and stored it in the Trusted Certs store
I did a developer console thing (F12) in IE and ran a UI responsiveness test. It shows several 10-15 second HTTP requests for things like JavaScript. It also takes about 5 seconds to get the page itself.
    Any ideas?

What I'm afraid is ... SQL is very greedy about RAM. It sucks up RAM when it finds it available.
So when you call for SharePoint Web, the w3wp process would have to fight for RAM, and everything would be constantly changing from memory to swap. Performance Monitors can
acknowledge that. Or you can inspect high I/O on disk, and see if it happens on pagefile.sys, or tempDB.ndf.
Another thing that happens with low RAM available, is that IIS Application Pools think they're exceeding a Memory Limit and they're constantly recycling.
With the built-in database engine you get from a SharePoint single-server installation, that is avoided, kinda.

  • ITunes match problems already tried everything i could find

I didnt know there was an itunes match forum also so i am reposting my post here:
I was just on the.phone with apple support the last two hours but they could not help me so I was hoping I might be finding help here.
We got a new iPhone (5s) and two iPod touch ( 5 refurbished) and wanted them to be set up with iTunes Match. What happened Is when I access the music app on any of those 3 devices only a small fraction of music (244 instead of over 5000) show up. To add insult to the injury when I click on them they won't play! They also won't download. Interestingly the songs are the exact same ones on the three devices
We also have two iPads and a MacBook Pro which all are working fine.
I tried everything I could find and what apple suggested but nothing worked ( e.g. Turning on and off iTunes Match, restarting, resetting/ whipping the device)
It's just wired that the thee new devices show the same music and the old ones show the full library. I even signed out off my account on my old ipad and when I signed in everything was accessible.
    Thank you for any help!

everytime I try to open it, all my computer does is pretend like it's loading but then does nothing.
Can you check something for me please?
Restart your PC. after the PC restarts, bring up your Task manager, and go to the "Processes" tab. Click "Image name" to sort the processes alphabetically.
    Now try to launch iTunes.
Does an itunes.exe process appear? If so, does it vanish after a second or so, or does it persist in the Processes tab (even though iTunes itself never shows up)?

  • Ok so I updated to iOS 7 on my iPod (5th) it let me update my apps but I cannot download new apps thanks to the terms and conditions. Also my iTunes won't start it just blank, I tried everything I need help

Ok so I updated to iOS 7 on my iPod (5th) it let me update my apps but I cannot download new apps thanks to the terms and conditions. Also my iTunes won't start it just blank, I tried everything I need help

Did you download the new iTunes update that was also released this afternoon? That might be the problem. The new iTunes update came out today as well as the new iOS 7 update and if you haven't downloaded the new iTunes update it may be a compatibility problem so if you didn't, first update to the new iTunes and try again.

  • My iMessage wont activate on my new iPhone 5c, I have tried everything. Please Help!

I have tried everything in all of these discussions and i still cant get my imessage or facetime to activate on my iphone 5c. Please help! I've been trying since Thursday!

I add to this discuss topic.  I have similar problem and tried everything in Apple Help support for this problem.
Trying to activate iMessage, and appears "Waiting for activation..." (Esperando activación... in spanish).  In the iMac and iPad an advise window shows saying another device is using the Apple ID.  OK, accept in both devices but in the iPhone 5S still "Waiting activation...".
I did a reset about all settings, activate iMessage for 1 hour and active again, hard reset, under wifi or 3G/LTE connection, loging out and in again with my Apple account and the problem still there.  "Waiting activation...".
    Solution anyone?
    Thanks!!

I have lost the airplay icon on my iPad. Tried everything on the help site. Can anyone help?

    Hi, Sean5656.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Sometimes closing all applications in multitasking and power cycling the device can resolve the issue.  However, further troubleshooting may be needed.  Here are the best articles to help you troubleshoot this issue.

  • Continuos Kernel panics. I DID EVERYTHING. HELP

I have a late 2010 Macbook pro. one year ago it began to restart suddenly without evident cause while doing different duties. I erased and reinstall everything and it didn't work. So I thought it could be the RAM so I downgrade to the original (4gb) but it doesnt work neither. recently I've bought mountain lion and I did a clean install, hoping it solves the problem, but no.   I also did a ram test but it appears to be OK.
so here is the kernel panic report.
any ideas? does anyone know how to read this?
    PLEASE HELP

  • Kernel panic (cpu) when trying to install SL

    Hi,
First I tried to partition my hdd in osx10.6 (standard seagate 500 gb) for a bootcamp windows installation. I did this before, but removed it. This time the installer told me I had to format the hdd first, reinstall SL and then partition again.
Tried to start a new installation by restarting the macbook, boot from (original) SL dvd. When I pressed C, all I got was this kernel panic (getting to it soon).
Formatted the hdd using the mbp from a friend (hdd in his laptop), installed SL, no problem. But once again in my mbp, the kernel panic appeared.
Next step: his ssd (crucial m4 64 gb, also SL) in my mbp, everything=fine! So my hdd=broken?
Bought a new hdd (1 TB WD), thinking that's the problem, but still getting the kernel panic.
The mbp is a 13", early 2011 i7. Upgraded memory before (to 8gb), worked fine. Swapped the original memory back, still the same problem.
Here's a photo (sorry for quality) of the panic: http://imgur.com/gUmVB
Don't have any warranty left, if you guys know of possible solutions or ways to find out what's wrong, your help is much appreciated.
    Thanks.
    Pascal

    well, this scenario happened:
I put my hdd in friends (2009) mbp, formatted it, installed SL on it (retail disc). After I put it in my mbp, the kernel panic appeared, hopefully because of the incompatible SL version.
So, if I were to install SL (retail) on my hdd (via friends mbp), and updated to 10.6.8, would it be accepted by my mbp?
Thanks for your help so far!

  • 10.4.7 caused major kernel panic, how to restore everything again?

I friend of mine just installed the 10.4.7 update via automatic update and her iBook kernel panicked and we couldn't start it up again without the kernel panic screen appearing right after the Apple insignia. So we started from the install disc and ran Disk Utility which said it couldn't repair the damage to 1 volume. So we've just done an archive and install (as she has nothing backed up) and it seems okay now. So now she's back to 10.3.6. What do we do to get everything back as it was? Do we drag and drop everything from the Previous Systems folder? Does she have to reinstall 10.4?
    Mark

She had Tiger running fine until this happened last night, so that's not really the issue. It's how to restore everything as after the archive and install, she can't open iPhoto for instance. Will she have to just reinstall Tiger or can she drag the previous systems folder contents to the relevant places and it'll all be back as before? Will the problem she encountered after the update also have a chance of being there again as it was in the previous system that crashed?

  • Kernel Panic problems - have tried quite a few solutions

    Hi,
Old iBook G4 raises a Kernel Panic more often than not on wake from sleep, and at different stages during boot. The Crash Log is /always/ the same:
"Unresolved kernel trap(cpu 0): 0x300 - Data access DAR=<The DAR value varies slightly each time>"
So far I've run "fsck -fy" and used "memtest all 1" in Single-User Mode with no errors reported. I "zapped" the NVRAM and PRAM by holding the Command-Option-P-R keys for three startup chimes. Oh, and I'm running a pristine, brand-new install of Tiger from the DVD (minus the extra languages and plus the X11 stuff). I've repaired permissions. I ran a full scan of the HDD with TechTool Pro 4 (over Firewire from my PowerBook) and no errors were reported. SMART status is "verified" in System Profiler.
I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to include the 4 most recent Crash Reports:

I have a 512MB module under lifetime warranty, and the store has offered to replace it if it's faulty, but so far I've no proof. Up to this point I've been reluctant to remove it myself as I don't have the specific tools or an anti-static wrist strap, but I may dive in anyway, and see what happens. I'll post any results. In the meantime, any other diagnostic suggestions?
    Thanks.
    SiR G.

I'll give that a shot. It seems relevant given the following error messages that I've been noticing consistently when booting through Single-User Mode:
OHCI Root hub simulation: family specific matching fails
EHCI Root hub simulation: family specific matching fails
Matching Service Count=10 (or Matching Service Count=29)
This error appears even when there are no peripherals attached, via USB or any other port.
    Fingers crossed!
    Sir Gad.

  • Won't boot, Caps Lock light blinking, black screen, tried everything I could.

Hello! This is a problem that even made me scratch my head. It started two days ago: blinking light, black screen etc. (It was double-blinking, which mean't BIOS corruption). I looked around the HP forums for help and tried what I could find (keyboard combination, making a recovery disc out of a memory stick, which failed), but nothing worked. This sorta thing has happened before, but somehow it managed to revive itself, so naturally I ignored it, because I didn't expect what was to happen next, which is right now. Incase I can't get any help from here, I'm gonna buy an new motherboard, but what I am really expecting for is that the fix will not hurt my wallet and not buying a new motherboard. Hoping to get a response as soon as possible and not this to be overlooked. Perhaps this post will help other people in the future (Who knows?). Anyway, thank you for your attention.

Hi  , Thank you all for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. It is a great site for information and questions. I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion dv6-7000sy Notebook and startup issues.  Here is a link to computer will not start.  I would start at the top and work my way down. Mine was fixed with reseating the HDD. Others have had it fixed with just reseating the Memory. Here is a video that shows you how to remove and reseat the HDD and memory. Please note remove any and all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices, as these could cause some issues.  You could reset the BIOS with this document selecting the reloading the BIOS default settings. Which has helped others as it restores the default settings. If you should get the system started again, I would run the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics, It will tell you if something is failing. I hope something here helps any one of you fix the Notebook. Thanks.
