Keyfigures in two different structures in query

Hi All,
I would like to use 2 different structures in column. Can I put few of the keyfigures in one structure and rest in the other structures.
If yes, please let me know how.
Point will be assigned to good answers.
Regards,
Bill

Hi
max number of strucutres is two  one  at the row and another in  coloumn
generally structures are reusable components.
select the coloumn >right click>select the structures
here you can assign the structures in the coloumn
If it is useful please need to assign some points

  • Map one source elements to two different target elements

    Hi Gurus,
                In our scenario, we have single source. and we are mapping this single source to two different structures, based on condition in the source records on one field, we are mapping to either X structure or Y structure. in my case i have to generate only one file at a time based on condition.
              If condition is true, i have to mapp it for X structure, if its false i have to mapp it for Y structure. but in my case i getting a blank file for another mapping. i should stop this blank file.
             any suggestions and solutions will be rewarded. this is an urgent issue, please help me.
            Thanks in advance....
    Thanks & Regards,
    Anuj..

    I have already used an if-then construct and an enhanced ID.Thanks anyway.
    Let me explain using a source interface (s1) and target interfaces t1 and t2.
    Based on the condition, only one interface(lets say t1) will be selected, target mapping is done for this.
    But the problem is that the other interface (t2) also executes(having only the root node) and the end result is i have two files - one with the mapped payload and another empty one with only the root node.
    My requirement is to remove this empty file at the mapping stage itself , as -
    1) i only need a single file at the receiver.
    2) i do not want an extra payload for every record i send, creating unnecessary load on my IE.
    Also due to performance issues i do not want to move this to a BPM.
    I have attached the o/p screenshot at http://www.flickr.com/photos/14210232@N03/1550768802/
    In window 1 i have the correct output .i.e of the interface t1 which was mapped.
    In window 2 i have the unwanted output. i.e the interface t2 which is creating another file at the receiver.
    <b><b>Ques</b></b>: When using enhanced ID/multi-mapping, under Messages tab, if i set my target message type to 0..1, should it not work? I have tried this but it doesn't.
    Do let me know a way out! Thanks.

  • Performance between two partitionned tables with different structure

    Hi,
    I would like if there is a difference between two partitionned tables with different structure in term of performance (access, query, insertions, updates ).
    I explain myself in detail :
    I have a table that stores one value every 10 minutes in a day (so we have 144 values (24*6) in the whole day), with the corresponding id.
    Here is the structure :
    | Table T1 |
    + id PK |
    + date PK |
    + sample1 |
    + sample2 |
    + ... |
    + sample144 |
    The table is partionned on the column date, with a partionned every months. The primary key is based on the columns (id, date).
    There is an additionnal index on the column (id) (is it useful ?).
    I would like to know if it is better to have a table with just (id, date, value) , so for one row in the first table we'll have 144 rows in the future? table. The partition will already be on the columns (id, date) with the index associated.
    What are the gains or loss in performance with this new structure ( access, DMLs , storage ) ?
    I discuss with the Java developers and they say it is simpler to manage in their code.
    Oracle version : Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production
    Thanks & Regards

    I mean storage in tablespaces and datafiles on disk.
    Can you justify please and give me concrete arguments why the two structures are equivalent ( except inserting data in T(id, date,value))
    because i have to make a report.i didnt say any thing like
    two structures are equivalent ( except inserting data in T(id, date,value)i said
    About structure : TABLE1(id, date, value) is better than TABLE1(id, date, sample1, .... sample144)because
    1) oracle has restriction for numbers of column. Ok you can have 144 columns now but for future if you must have more than 1000 columns , what will you do?
    2) Restrictions on Table Compression (Table compression is not supported for tables with more than 255 columns.)
    3) store same type values on diffrent columns is bad practise

  • Two different Resultsets for the same query (running at the same time)

    I am using the Thin Driver for Oracle 8.1.6. I am invoking queries in multithreading mode (each thread has his own connection to the oracle DB). If i am invoking the same SQL-Statement in two different threads nearly at the same time, only the ResultSet of the first query is complete. The ResultSet of the second query is not complete (the number of tuples differs each time I run the program). Principally the two ResultSets should be the same (no changes are done at the same time in the DB), but they are not.
    Anybody knows this problem and knows how to solve it? Principally read accesses on DBs should not make such trouble ...
    I hope anybody can help me.

    Pranav,
    As this BADI is having option checked 'Multiple use'. You can implement multiple implementations.
    You need not to deactivate the existing implementation.

  • Transfer structure have two different tech names?

    Hi BW experts,
    we got issue in transfer structure which have two different technical names:
    ZCUSTOMER_DC and
    ZCUSTOMER_PS
    where zcustomer is the info source name.
    The impact: PSA data can't be accessed ...
    Any help and feedback is highly appreciated!
    Regards,

    Hi Dinesh,
    Thanks for your feedback.
    Unfortunately, this issue is thru our system landscape incl. production. If I try to delete the DS assignment I will lose data in the PSA, right?
    However, I did try to delete the DS assignment and delete the info source (the one which is available on dev only), failed, the message I get is info object xyz still being used in communication structure (I believe it must the TS with old prefix), deletion not possible.
    The problem is I am not able to delete the TS with old prefix , because it is not visible in system (AWB).
    Any further feedback appreciated

    please help me out...

    There's no valid syntax for this, but there are some tricks you could do to achieve it.
    i) You could place an update trigger on TABLE1 to update TABLE2 automatically.
    ii) You could define a view across both tables and add an INSTEAD OF UPDATE trigger to it to maintain them.
    If I had to do this I'd choose option2, but frankly I'd just be running two updates if it really was me.

  • More than two structures in query

    Is it possible to use more than two structures in query?

    Hi,
      you can have only two structures in a query. by default you will have one in the columns. And you can have one in the rows.

  • Execute the same query twice, get two different results

    I have a query that returns two different results:
    Oracle Version : 10.2.0.1.0
    I am running the following query on the Oracle server in SQL*Plus Worksheet.
    SELECT COUNT(*)
    FROM AEJOURNAL_S1
    WHERE CHAR_TIME BETWEEN TO_DATE('12-AUG-10 01:17:39 PM','DD-MON-YY HH:MI:SS AM') AND
    TO_DATE('13-AUG-10 14:17:34','DD-MON-YY HH24:MI:SS')
    AND DESC2 LIKE '%'
    AND DESC1 LIKE '%'
    AND DESC2 LIKE '%'
    AND ETYPE LIKE '%'
    AND MODULE LIKE '%'
    AND LEVELL = '11-WARNING'
    ORDER BY ORDD DESC;
    The very first time the query is run, it will return a count of 259. The next time the query is run, lets say, 10 seconds later, it will return a count of 260. The above query is exemplary of the kind of thing I'm trying to do. It seems like the more fields filtered against '%', the more random the count return becomes. Sometime you have to execute the query three or four times before it levels out to a consistent number.
    I'm using '%' as the default for various fields, because this was the easiest thing to do to support a data-driven Web interface. Maybe I have to 'dynamically' build the entire where clause, instead of just parameterizing the elements and having default '%'. Anyway, to eliminate the web interface for the purpose of troubleshooting the above query was run directly on the Oracle server.
    This query runs against a view. The view does a transpose of data from a table.
    Below is the view AEJOURNAL_S1
    SELECT
    CHAR_TIME,
    CHAR_INST,
    BATCH_ID,
    MIN(DECODE(CHAR_ID,6543,CHAR_VALUE)) AS ORDD,
    MIN(DECODE(CHAR_ID,6528,CHAR_VALUE)) AS AREAA,
    MIN(DECODE(CHAR_ID,6529,CHAR_VALUE)) AS ATT,
    COALESCE(MIN(DECODE(CHAR_ID,6534,CHAR_VALUE)),'N/A') AS CATAGORY,
    MIN(DECODE(CHAR_ID,6535,CHAR_VALUE)) AS DESC1,
    MIN(DECODE(CHAR_ID,6536,CHAR_VALUE)) AS DESC2,
    MIN(DECODE(CHAR_ID,6537,CHAR_VALUE)) AS ETYPE,
    MIN(DECODE(CHAR_ID,6538,CHAR_VALUE)) AS LEVELL,
    MIN(DECODE(CHAR_ID,6539,CHAR_VALUE)) AS MODULE,
    MIN(DECODE(CHAR_ID,6540,CHAR_VALUE)) AS MODULE_DESCRIPTION,
    MIN(DECODE(CHAR_ID,6541,CHAR_VALUE)) AS NODE,
    MIN(DECODE(CHAR_ID,6542,CHAR_VALUE)) AS STATE,
    MIN(DECODE(CHAR_ID,6533,CHAR_VALUE)) AS UNIT
    FROM CHAR_BATCH_DATA
    WHERE subbatch_id = 1774
    GROUP BY CHAR_TIME, CHAR_INST, BATCH_ID
    So... why does the query omit rows on the first execution? Is this some sort of optimizer issue. Do I need to rebuild indexes? I looked at the indexes, they are all valid.
    Thanks for looking,
    Dan

    Thanks for looking,
    DanIn fact you the first time you ran the query the data has been retrived from disk to memory , in the second time the data is already in memory so the respnse time should be faster ,but if you chagne any condition or column or letter case the optimizer will do the first step (data will be retrived from disk to memory )

  • Same query takes different time for two different users with same privileges

    Hi,
    Just wanted to know if it is possible for an INSERT query to take different amount of time for two different users for the same volume of data. If so, what could be the reason? I would like to add that we are not executing the query simultaneously. But it is always faster for user1(within 10-20 seconds) and slower for user2(takes around 8-10 minutes).

    Show execution plan for each user. I think there is other reasons which you didn't not tell

  • One query two different Group By

    In My parameter two option one and two.
    if i select one, need to come this group by:-
    GROUP BY
    Name1,
    Name2,
    Country,
    MCC || '/' | MNC
    One Output:
    Name1 -  Name2 - Country  - PNR
    if i select two, need to come this group by
    GROUP BY
    Name1,
    Country,
    MCC || '/' | MNC
    two output :
    Name1 - Country - PNR
    I have only one sql query But i have two different group by
    Please advise me, m not using subreport option.
    whether any formulas or any other options for group by.

    Try inserting the groups statically that are common for both the parameaters like this
    GROUP BY
    Name1,
    Country,
    MCC || '/' | MNC
    and now create a formula like this
    whilereadingrecords;
    if =1 then
    {Name2 field}
    else
    Now insert one more group using this formula and move the group to second level by using group options.
    Hope this helps!

  • Misplaced publication item query of two different publication itens

    Hi,
    I’m creating a new publication on Oracle Database Lite 10g.
    Almost all of the publication itens are ok, except two of then: when I publicate the “item1” ,the publication item query is rightly displayed on Mobile Manager page and in the administratives tables, as the C$ALL_PUBLICATIONS table. But, when I publicate the “item2”, that is rightly displayed on Mobile Manager site too, the query of the “item1” receives the same value of “item2” query.
    I’ve just checked for wrong synonym creation of the two tables involved , but they are correct.
    Has anybody ever seen something like that?
    An example of my two queries:
    Publication item1 : select field1 , field2 , field3 from table2 where field4 = 1
    Publication item2 :; : select field1, field2 from table1;
    It’s important : I have two different tables above.
    When I synchronize the PDA , with this publication assigned to the user, I receive an error message on Mobile Manager page that some field is misplaced or required . In other words: for publication item2 the application tries to put the data returned from the query of publication item1 .
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    The publication was created successfully and the type is “WCE”. I created it using the “Mobile Manager” page, with an .xml file , compressed in the .jar format.
    Here is the web.xml file:
    <?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'WINDOWS-1252'?>
    <workspace>
    <application name="WCE_REGRAS">
    <app_info>
    <directory>/WCE_REGRAS</directory>
    <virtualpath>/WCE_REGRAS</virtualpath>
    <defaultpage/>
    <icon/>
    <description>WCE_REGRAS</description>
    <publication/>
    <platform>Oracle Lite PPC2000 ARM;US</platform>
    </app_info>
    <app_db publication="AFV"/>
    <snapshot name="REGIONS" owner="HR" order="1">
    <snaplatform object="TABLE" platform="ORACLE LITE PPC2000 ARM;US" template="SELECT * FROM HR.REGIONS" updatable="Y" conflict="client" refresh="fast" virtualprimname="" virtualprimcolname=""/>
    </snapshot>
    </application>
    </workspace>
    The publication item with weight equals to 1 (default) was deleted . I’m using an Java application to publicate the items an add them to the publication ( in this case, “WCE_REGRAS”)
    Some publication items will have the “conflict rule” set to “Client Wins” and the other ones will be set to “Server Wins”.
    Here is the .xml code that my java application reads to create the publication items that are wrong:
    Publicationitens.xml
    <app>
         <repository>
              <connectionString><!--THE CONNECTION STRING--></connectionString>
              <user><!--THE USER--></user>

              <password><!--THE PASSWORD--></password>
         </localDB>
         <publication>
              <name>15571</name>
              <virtualPath>/WCE_REGRAS</virtualPath>
              <deviceType>WCE</deviceType>
              <!--CLIENT WINS-->
              <item>
                   <type>local</type>
                   <name>RGE_SAFV_ATIVIDADE</name>
                   <owner>SC_PDA</owner>
                   <object>AFV_ATIVIDADE</object>
                   <filter>SELECT "COD_TIP_ATIV","DAT_ATIV","COMENT_ATIV","STATUS_ATIV","COD_ATIV_PRIOR","DSC_ATIV","COD_FUNCIO","COD_FUNCIO_RESP","COD_ATIV_SIEBEL","COD_CLI","COD_ATIV","COD_FUNCIO_ENC" FROM SC_PDA.AFV_ATIVIDADE WHERE COD_FUNCIO_RESP = :COD_FUNCIO AND STATUS_ATIV IN ('A', 'E')</filter>
                   <weight>26</weight>
                   <action>create</action>
              </item>
              <!--SERVER WINS-->
              <item>
                   <type>local</type>
                   <name>RGE_SAFV_ATIVIDADE_PRIO</name>
                   <owner>SC_PDA</owner>
                   <object>AFV_ATIVIDADE_PRIO</object>
                   <filter>SELECT "COD_ATIV_PRIOR","DSC_ATIV_PRIOR" FROM SC_PDA.AFV_ATIVIDADE_PRIO</filter>
                   <weight>8</weight>
                   <action>create</action>
              </item>
         </publication>
    </app>
    In this case the connection string, password and user were omitted form the .xml file.
    In my Java application the following code creates and associate the publication itens to the publication :
    Consolidator.createPublicationItem(connSie, item.getName(), item.getOwner(), item.getObject(), "F", item.getFilter(), null, null);
    Consolidator.addPublicationItem(publication.getName(), item.getName(), null, null, "S", null, item.getWeight());
    , where the object “item” is populated with the publicationitens.xml file with a loop statment .
    This code works ok to the others publication items.
    The problem is : in the administrative tables ( like C$ALL_PUBLICATIONS) the publication string (filter – sql statement) is right. But, when I access the “Mobile Manager” page they are misplaced:
    the filter string from “RGE_SAFV_ATIVIDADE” receives the same filter of “RGE_SAFV_ATIVIDADE_PRIO”.
    Curiously when I delete the “RGE_SAFV_ATIVIDADE_PRIO” publication item , the filter string of “RGE_SAFV_ATIVIDADE” publication item appears correctly in the Manager page.
    I ‘ve just deleted the "RGA_SAFV_ATIVIDADE_PRIO" publication item using my Java application , or by database : I dropped tables, views and triggers that are created by “Consolidator” (java .jar) methods. I created this item again , but the same error occurs.
    I think that it may be something with the data integrity in the database.
    The mobile database is 10g, version 10.2.0.2 ;
    Thanks.

    Hi Parry2k,
    According to your description, you want to compare the sales of two different periods. Right?
    Based on your query, both the Period1 and Period2 are from 20070101 to 20070228. They are same period, so it supposed to return same sales value on that two columns. Your query is right to me.
    If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

    Waiting for your response.

    If you already have to two collections you can do something like this
    select
    SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name,SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client
    from SMS_R_System where SMS_R_System.ResourceId in (select ResourceId from
    SMS_CM_RES_COLL_XXXXXXX) or SMS_R_System.ResourceId in (select ResourceId from
    SMS_CM_RES_COLL_XXXXXXX)
