Keys in URL

Can someone explain to me what those big honkin' keys on the URLS from the UIXML View(browse) screens to the Update(edit) screens are?
Is there a way for me to get some?
I'd like to reuse the Update screens without modification
by calling them directly from URL's (in addition to using the View screens)

never mind
I got it working in java and just found a nice
UIXML example from Adam

  • Problem with % signs in key value url parameter pairs

    Hi,
    Tomcat 5.5.9
    Java Version 1.5
    I'm having a little difficulty passing a certain key value pair via a URL to the processing component of my web application.
    If I submit a value for lets say parameter 'product_name' and that value starts with a % sign then the value is passed to my processing component as 'null' if I remove the % sign the value is correctly received.
    Anyone come accross this on a Tomcat server?
    The data has to be tagged onto the URL rather than as a form 'Post', as it is used to create and populate a popup window.
    Thanks in advance.

    So the % is used in URLs to mark certain escape sequences, so when you put it in you value, it thinks that the value is actually an escape sequence, and probably translates poorly on the opposite side.
    You will actually need to use the escape sequence for the % sign to get it work correctly. I don't recall the actual escape value, but:
    If you use JSTL to put together the URL for you, you shouldn't have a problem, the values will be escapes:
    <c:url var="popupAddress" url="http://www.mydomain.com/myapp/mupage.jsp">
      <c:param name="product_name" value="%Whatever"/>
    </c:url>
    <script type="text/javascript">
      document.open("<c:out value="${popupAddress}"/>","Popup");
    </script>

  • Key Mapping / URL hiding etc

    Hi All APex Fans,
    I'm in the process fo deploying a public application . ( i.e. zero authentication)
    My URL is a typical HTMLDB URL which reveals certain key fields depending on which page of the application you are :
    https://xx.xx.xx/htmldb/production/f?pp=xxx:2:1276630965096638381::NO::P2_USERTYPE,P2_USERID:employee,E0999
    In other words , Managers are horrified by the fact that this URL reveals a bunch of key fields and information .
    I can hide the first part using virtual host - but How do I create "key mappings" for the rest of the URL that starts with ?p=.....
    Is there such a thing called Key Mapping available for HTMLDB ? ( similar to what we have in Oracle Reports)
    Or is it much preferable to use Frames ( where the main frame stays static to the main URL and the Window frames play the HTML DB application pages without revealing HTMLDB URLS ?
    Could be a dumb question - but I am also being a mouth piece to some Oracle Reports experts who feel very strongly about HTMLDB URLS which they said reveal too much of its key info.
    Any suggestions ?
    Indira

    Only pass the items that you need to (for example primary keys of records you wish to manipulate). Most other item values can actually be set in the page itself.REPLY : That's exactly what I do / did.
    typically , the USERID does not show on any page at all- it only shows up IF and only IF i open a "drill-down" pop-up in a new window from a main page that brances to it using a USERID.
    - pop-ups typically don't show URLS. I know.
    But I was only playing both good and devil's advocate to explain my anti-SQL-Injection strategy . I was trying to explain how I made sure "malicious users" won't be able to play with URL to reveal confidential info because I have other checks in the SQL code to block confidentation info, even if the user=USERID is displayed if that USERID is set from the browser.
    Unfortunately , I had to show them how you could substitute portions of the pop-up URL , for the actual URL and play with URL.
    ( I won't say I have shot myself in the foot) - But now the users are expressing general concerns about setting this USERID from the browser.
    Who said DBA's and developers only struggle with machines ... ? It's complicated for users to understand .
    Are your managers horrified because they can see the information? Or are >>they horrified because they believe that if they can see it then it must be insecure? REPLY :: Yes - they horrified because they believe that if they can *see
    I think the use of FRAMES can definitely soothe the climate because the blanket/main FRAME will always show a lovely https://xxx.xxx.com/myapp/
    no matter which page of the application you are in.
    Due Dilligence .
    Any other ideas ?
    Regards...

  • AD contains system Recovery Key, but not showing in MBAM.

    I am in an environment with MBAM 1.0 installed. I built the MDT 2013 system here and am currently trying to figure out why the bitlocker keys are showing up in AD but not MBAM.
    In MDT, I have disabled the "enable bitlocker" options so there shouldn't be a case where that the TPM ownership is wrong (I think). I do however set the
    bios password with CCTK, then apply the default bios configuration with an ini via cctk. The bios sets and activates tpm just before the hard disk is formatted by LTI.
    q1. Could setting the TPM without restarting cause the TPM ownership to be set to the PE in some weird way.
    q1.1. would I clear the tpm if this is the issue?
    So MBAM client is installed on the reference image and captured by MDT. The WIM is then deployed to a system using a standard TS with the bitlocker disabled like
    I mentioned above. I do not make any changes to reg for mbam in the reference image. For testing, I tried adding the mbam recovery key location url to the reference image reg. I still need to test that but a few other tests I did makes me believe this
    is not the case.
    MDT binds the system to a default OU in the domain. After the system is configured, I start Bitlocker. (Sometimes I start bitlocker when the system is in the default
    OU, sometimes I start it after I move them into the right ou for the role). I am almost positive the default OU has the mbam settings (I do not have access to this gpo), since the manage-bde -status comes back AES 128 with diffuser (as compared to regular
    aes 128).
    After bitlocker finishes, the key is found in AD but not mbam.
    I think the major questions I have are:
    How can I force MBAM to take ownership of the TPM after the os is bitlockered? (about 100/700 machines are not reporting to mbam but are to bitlocker because of this new deployment system)
    If I turn TPM on and activate while I was in the PE, would that mean the PE has the TPM ownership? (or bitlocker in this case, since mbam is not installed on the PE)
    - Could I install MBAM on the PE and use that to manage the tpm? (MDT 2013) (I have seen some documents that cover this but it largely comes from wanting a pre-provisioned bitlocker.)
    ** I think the most manual way of correcting the issue I am having, is to either clear the tpm and rebitlocker, or
    .. when a system is about to image, turn tpm on but leave it deactivated. (If I leave the tpm deactivated, every system will need to be manually rebooted and f10 will need to be pressed to continue the bitlocker process. this includeds
    a user login too)

    Keep the MBAM out of the .wim! Install it in task sequence.
    MBAM Client has its own log files in event viewer, there you perhaps find the reason why recovery key is not stored in DP. But fix your image first, keep it thin.

  • Windows 7 Professional 64bit OEM Retail Key has been blocked for used by microsoft

    I purchased Windows 7 Professional 64-bit OEM on 19th
    March 2014,  from a well known retailer, it is legit with the plastic case Hologram and the COA sticker. Before I instal on my laptop HP430, I ask to [email protected] about the Key is valid or not. On 20th March 2014 I got an email reply
    from [email protected] that my Key was Valid. After that I decide to instal on my HP430 Laptop and activated with no issues.  On 2nd May 2014 my laptop was error so I decide to re-instal my Windows on the same Lapotp HP430. Finally I try to re-activate
    my License using online activation and got an error message "This product key is blocked for used by Microsoft". I was trying to activate with Phone activation, but I got the same error "This product key is blocked for used by Microsoft".
    Can anyone provide details on this? Why is my key blocked from activation? What could of happened that compromised my license key?
    Thanks for your time reading this.

    The lack of a Windows marker in the SLIC table could indicate that the machine originally shipped without Windows installed - certainly, in India, this ships often with only some form of DOS present.

    Hi,
    Windows 7 Home Basic is built with OEM computer, also the key is accompanied with the computer. Could you tell me how can you get the key?
    To fix this issue, you can try the phone activation service , please follow these steps:
    1. Click Start then type”slui.exe 4”.
    2. Press Enter on your Keyboard.
    3. Select your Country and click Next.
    4. The wizard will display a Toll Free phone number. Leave the wizard open on the computer and call that phone number.
    If problem persists, you can go to  Windows Activation Center to get help. Please refer to the link below for more details:

  • Windows 7 Product Key Blocked - Not Genuine notice

    My T420 is 3 years old and suddenly yesterday I got the notices and black screen saying "This copy of Windows is not genuine." And nag screens about it roughly every half hour (and annoyingly at boot-up).
    I tried several fixes online, including re-entering the Product Key. When I do that I get error code 0XC004F063. There's no place to contact Microsoft for a replacement key, it says to contact Lenovo.
    I talked to Lenovo support this morning and was told I may need to reinstall Windows and they were mailing me Restore discs. He checked and said with that error code I needed to call Microsoft.
    I called MS and they checked the Product Key...it's blocked. I gave him my Product ID and that's blocked too. He said get back to Lenovo.
    Lenovo knows nothing about this. Or what to do about it. The woman told me she had someone call this morning with something similar, though it was with Windows 8. She checked and several other support people had had similar calls this morning. She also said I'd probably have to reinstall Windows. I asked if she'd ever had this before and she said no. I asked if she knew of others having these calls before and she said not that she knew of. I asked if it seemed suspicious that suddenly a few people were having this problem. Sounds like Lenovo blocked a series of Product Keys. She hedged about whether it was truly escalated and said the Floor Manager was aware of it and they'd look into it. When I asked if they'd contact me if they found out anything, she said it doesn't work that way. They're mailing me the Restore discs and I'm to call back Friday to see if anyone knows anything.
    In the meantime, here's my MS Genuine log. It looks okay to my untrained eye....anyone have any insights or know of other instances of this, especially in the past 24 hours?

  • Tnx. IW22 Change PM Notification -  Create external document (URL) posting

    Hi:
    I am in transaction IW22 i.e. Change PM Notification.  There is a 'Services for object' drop down which appears below the enter tick.  This appears in online but not in BDC.  I have tried it through the transaction SHDB i.e. Transaction Recorder also herein the 'Services for object' does not appear.  I need to post entries through 'Create external document (URL)' through the 'Services for object' drop down using BDC / BAPI / etc.

  • Cannot browse by keying address in address bar

    Just updated to firefox 10 and I discovered that I can key an URL into the address bar, but nothing happens when I hit the enter key.
    Thanks

    I also had Tab Utilities installed with the same symptoms. Disabling the Add-on temporarily fixed the problem, but now the 'failures' are intermittent and I haven't been able to reliably determine the new cause.

  • Table with a composite primary key

    Intermedia Web agent/clipboard documentation has examples etc. on how to generate procedures and get/put data for tables having a single column as the primary key. Is it possible to use Web agent/clipboard to manipulate BLOB/ORDIMAGE data in a table which has 2 or more columns in Primary key. Has anyone done it? I will appreciate any code examples to do this.
    Thanks.

    It is possible, but you kind of need to come up with your own mechanism. Normally, when you try to retrieve a photo, for example, using 'id' as primary key, the URL would be something like:
    http://your_web_server/intermedia/mediaget/get_photo/23
    If you have a table with two columns, 'name' and 'id' as primary key, the URL would like something like:
    http://your_web_server/intermedia/mediaget/get_photo/james@23
    'james@23' will be passed to Web Agent as one string, but it is actually passing two values at once - 'james' for name and '23' for id. Here, '@' is used as a separater. In your get_photo procedure, you have to separate these two values by searching for '@'.
    You can use Clipboard Code Wizard for creating a basic procedure for a single column primary key. Then you would have to modify the code so that the procedure can handle multi-column primary key.
    I don't have any code examples for this. Sorry.

  • How to rid/hide or ? URL hypertext browser langage when sufing the net??

    Is there a way with ver 4.5 (Pearl 8130) of hiding or shutting off the hypertext browser language when one just 'surf's the net' with the phone? It seems one has to go thru a myriad of this in-depth URL stuff just to read over topics, items of interest and etc.  I am not talking about the "clickable URL links." All help appreciated.

    yup, it's works. Now the parameter form shows.
    But when I have key in the values for all these parameters and press the submit query button, the report server return an error.
    Oracle Reports Server CGI - Key "" is unrecognized. Possible causes: bad URL syntax; key in URL was not found in the key map file
    Why this will happen?

  • How do I update my Office 2010 KMS key?

    I renewed our EES contract with Microsoft and in turn got a new Office 2010 key. Our current clients are saying I have 30 days to activate so I would like to update the KMS key on the server with the new one so they'll pick it up. I haven't found any solid
    instructions anywhere so am posting a new question. How do I update the KMS key for Office 2010? What commands do I need to run?
    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Thanks for the reply. That got me a little further. I updated my EES agreement this summer and got new keys, so thought maybe that was the issue with Office giving me the "This copy of Microsoft Office is not activated." when launching any Office
    product. I installed and activated the new key now but am still getting the same error in Office. The error code it gives me is 0xc004f074. Looking into that error it looks like a KMS issue. These were activating fine last year and I haven't made any changes
    except just updating the key today, but it was doing this before that.

  • Loading JSON files from URLS/File Paths into a After Effects

    Basically, I want to make a script in which the user enters a file path or URL of a JSON file, the file is loaded and the user can manipulate the data in various ways within After Effects.
    I got as far as writing a script that requests the data and logs it into the console but it will only work in Extendscript. I'm using Extendables which was built for indesign so that may be the problem.
        #include Extendables/extendables.jsx
        var url = "http://echo.jsontest.com/key/value/otherkey/othervalue";
        //Retrieve the data
        function retrieveData(_url){
            var http = require("http");
            var response = http.get(_url);
            var responseStr = JSON.stringify(response);
            var responseBod = JSON.parse(responseStr);
            var data = JSON.parse(responseBod.body);
            $.writeln(data.key);
        retrieveData(url);
    When I run it in After Effects I get an error "Undefined is not an object" pointing to line 162 in errors.jsx which says:
    if (app.name.to('lower').contains("indesign")) {
    What exactly is happening here? Is there a better way to go about doing requesting JSON files?
    Thanks!
    EDIT: I should add that I tried removing the "$.writeln(data.key);" but am still getting the same error.

    The line that generates the error tries to test whether the targetted application is InDesign, and the test is not so good because in other apps the test may generate an error.
    (For AfterEffects, the object 'app' exists [object Application] but it doesnt have a 'name' property, so app.name.xxx is wrong).
    I don't know of a test that would work for any app. For After Effects, "if (app.effects instanceof Array)" might work, not sure.
    If the script is meant to target AfterEffects only you can simply omit the condition.

  • Email: Making typed-in URLs show w/underline and blue

    Whenever composing an email message, I often type in a full URL, including the 'http://' prefix, but I find that after I hit the 'spacebar' or 'return' key, the URL only shows as plain text. How do I make it appear as a bone fide URL with the underscore and the blue color?
    Jeremy

    The answer is: You don't! It is added automatically and the recipient will get a +clickable, blue underlined+ URL. You can verify this by looking into Sent after you sent the email.

    <action path="/StartAppModule" forward="/StartIusIbaMesApplis.do"/>
    <action path="/IusIbaMesApplisTable" input="/WEB-INF/page/IusIbaMesApplisTable.uix" type="oracle.jheadstart.controller.strutsadf.action.JhsDataAction" className="oracle.jheadstart.controller.strutsadf.action.JhsDataActionMapping" parameter="/WEB-INF/page/IusIbaMesApplisTable.uix" name="DataForm">
    <set-property property="modelReference" value="IusIbaMesApplisUIModel"/>
    <set-property property="breadcrumbParamExpressions" value="${bindings.IusIbaMesApplisAppwebNom}"/>
    <set-property property="bindParams" value="IusIbaMesApplisIterator=${data.Bean1testUIModel.userlogin}"/>
    </action>
    In a JSP or a Servlet that will probably be
    //get param login
    String myparm = request.getParameter("login");
    //find my JavaBean
    DCBindingContainer bc = (DCBindingContainer) request.getAttribute( "bindings");
    JUCtrlAttrsBinding ctrlBindinglogin =(JUCtrlAttrsBinding)bc.findCtrlBinding("data.Bean1testUIModel.userlogin ");
    //put the value in my JavaBean attribut
    ctrlBindinglogin.setAttribute("userlogin ", myparm);
    How to put this whith ADF/UIX technologie after the JavaBean was created and before to show the view ?
    Is it the better choice to do that ?
    Could you help me please ?

    Hi,
    Yes, I think Dispatch_input() has to be put in Do_request event.
    There is another alternative to using Get_form_fields method. In Do_Handle_Data event you can read the table form_fields and get the value of the input on the page.
    read table form_fields into <workarea> with key name = '<url inputfield name>'.
    get the value.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Rashmi.
