Killzone: mercenary NEEDS clan tags

alright cambridge i want you to think about something... look at CoD declassified.... it is one of the worst games on the vita, it looks like crap it sounds like crap hell it even SMELLS like crap. its crap. so why are there soooo many people still playing?? because of clans. yup i whent there, clan tags allow for legitimate tournaments and popularity. ever heard of OpTiC? or FaZe? albeit they look like some stupid #420noscopeblazeit ***** theyre popular and just by playing other games they can make those games popular. with out clan tags theres really no point in making a clan. people arent gonna recognize you or your players theyll just say "oh hey you remember that one match against that group of people"? if there were clan tags they would remember the tag and tell their friends about how badly they were stomped by said clan. also lets not mention the youtube videos and twitch streams this game would get... anyways theres no reason to not have clan tags in a multiplayer FPS there really isnt so please put them in

  • Archiving cds and why do i need id3 tags

here comes another one of those questions looking at which codec to use to store music.....i also have tag questions.....
i'm about to (re-)rip my cd collection and looking at some info re codecs and id3 tags
now.....i believe i understand the benefits of alac (lower file sizes, keeping id3 tags, lossless compression) v wav(no compression)
however (and for some out there) if we just entertain the fact that wav may have some minute benefit for me depending on my questions and answers given.....and yes i know wav and alac will sound the same to the human ear - i accept that as a given of lossless compression ......
    points i'd like to outline:
i am looking to rip my cds, firstly and mostly, for an archiving purpose!! purpose numero uno!!
i could well want to re-create cds with these archived records in the future
size of files is of no concern to me at all
    i'm using a mac nowadays
i will convert most of these files, where needed, to use with a portable music player (i'm not bothered with having, say a wav file and then also converting and having an alac file, as crazy as that sounds)
this is where i ask for info re the benefits of embedded tags that are found in alac:
    are these tags that important?
where do they come into play in ripping and later converting music?
are these uses just bells and whistles that have no benefit to my needs?
if i rip cds to wav (or aiff), say, using itunes, will cd info and track listings be available on the downloading database (eg itunes) to name these wav files?
if i then ensure these song files are kept under the album's folder, have i just done what tags do? surely not. that is all i have needed in the past.
this is where i feel i may be really missing what id tags (can) do
are tags more than just managing song files and where they belong and where they have come from?
is it just a convenience of not personally managing your song files (as per previous paragraph)?
(in the past i had ripped cds to mp3 codec. i think i used "cd rip" or something like that on my pc.
my mp3 files were individually named and sorted and kept under album folders under artist name folders.
apart form the very odd occasion all track and album info i needed was found on a database that was attached to the ripping software.
i never had a problem managing/maintaining these files and folders.)
i welcome some enlightenment on some of my questions above and other info that may be relevant
and yes, i understand that music will sound the same as a wav file or alac file - but humour me re using wav and tell me why i need id3 tags
i guess the crux of it is:
why do i need id3 tags?
does my managing of my song file in the album folder do what tags do?
what problems/shortcomings/headaches may i encounter by not having those tags if i use wav as opposed to alac?
what do i not know about these little buggers?
what codec is best for my purpose of archiving and re creating of cds (for playing in cd players)
thanks in advance for your input and any clarity that i may experience through this

excuse my long windedness (i have spent some time editing this entry)

as mentioned earlier if i just have songs (wav) in album folders, when i import these albums into itunes, do you know if these will come up under AN album with their file names purely using my filename setup (but with no artwork)?
Yes, iTunes will read the filename, such as "Track 1" or something else and display it. But nothing else. No Album or Artist.
so the tracks will remain grouped as an album based on their initial folder and the albums and tracks as per file name?
    Crows2012 wrote:
also, does aiff have limitations (apart from the full size of the file)?
I'm not sure I understand what you mean. For all practical purposes AIFF and WAV are exactly the same thing. They're just file containers.
i thought that i had read somewhere that aiff tags could run into some issues with its tags - ie may not always be transferred 100% accurately with certain players (or hardware maybe)
    Crows2012 wrote:
and how do these codecs work re-creating an album for the purposes of playing in a cd player? - this is a crucial question for the purpose of my archiving/backup of CDs THEMSELVES
That's actually going to depend on what burning software you use. Once you rip the tracks to whatever file container you choose (WAV/AIFF/ALAC) you'll never really exactly re-create the album. But for archiving purposes all three file containers will do what you want, which is to create a lossless archive. AIFF has the advantage of supporting embedded ID3, which ALAC has the additional advantage of the files also being about half the size of AIFF/WAV files.
i was thinking that maybe wav was able to recreate an album (in effect duplicate one) if my cd was lost or damaged in the future. i was thinking this IF when ripping to wav everything is unchanged (unless there is other data on the original cd). and maybe only possible with wav. the purpose for this would be to play recreated cds on my cd player
    any idea on this one?
(i havent looked too thoroughly on this angle but i'll keep googling on this one)
much appreciate all info thus far

  • Killzone Mercenary Botzone Soldier Training DLC Question.

So recently, nobody's been playing Killzone Mercenary Online very much, so I've decided that it's time for me to buy the Botzone Soldier Training DLC to keep having some fun with the game. Problem is, though, I don't know if the DLC itself will work. I own Killzone Mercenary Physically and at the back of the box it says that it's Region 2, and my PSN account is UAE (United Arab Emirates) Region, so I would like to know if the DLC will work and if I could get a refund if the DLC did not work. Thanks in advance. ^.^ P.S. I already posted a similar thread to this in the Killzone section accidentally, so I would like for it be either removed or locked.

PS VITA killzone mercenary groups admins tell their members to go kill themselves lmao so if you want to join a group thats going to belittle you then sure, join them or you can join the Killzone: Mercenary Community on facebook

  • 2 Scripts Needed - ID3 tags & Converting

pretty much a newbie when it comes to this, so bear with me...
i have a music download site (legal) and every time a label sends us CDs, we load the tracks into I-Tunes, convert them to MP3s 320 and 192, Then we create a play list, drag all the MP3s into i-tunes and one by one copy and paste the track information from a metatag excel spreadsheet that they supply us with all the info... artist, title, track name, genre, etc...
though time consuming, it's worked out fine because it gives us the ability to make sure everything appears uniform when downloaded. We can correct typos etc....
Today i got a 1 terabyte drive from a label with 500 folders totaling over 4000 wavs.
i think we have grown now to the point where we should look into automating some of these things... from what i can figure out, there should be 2 scripts... one to convert all the WAVS to mp3s, and then one to attach art and metatag info to the ID3 tag. It would also need to change the file name to something, which i guess could be a field entered on the Excel spreadsheet. All the ID3 tag info is in that document already anyway.
again, this is kind of new to me, but i certainly don't want to do this all by hand. If any scripts could be recommended or if someone thinks they can make a script, i'd love some help!
10 bonus points if you also know a script that will make sound clips! again, we do that all manually... starting about 25% into the track and lasting 45 - 60 seconds depending on the length of the track. Again, seems to me like an easy script, but i dont know the first thing about doing scripts, nor how to find someone to help me...
    hence my post
    Indevalley

You might want to try Doug's Scripts. I think it's www.dougscripts.com but I'm not at home so I don't have the link. A search for "doug's scripts" usually turns it up pretty quickly. It's a great source of scripts for iTunes for Macs.
    Best of luck.

  • Some songs won't add artwork so I need ID3 Tags but ID3 isn't in popup menu

When I Get Info on a track I get this menu but
there's nothing for Change ID3 tags. Should
there be or am I in the wrong place?

    I assume adding artwork is a tag-affecting change - but I can't
add on this track - it just reverts to the black image.
I take it the tags themselves are hidden. I see no direct
editing options for them although I read than they can be
set to different types - and there are utilities available to
    clean, fix, re-set, etc.
Ok, now I see your edit - this isn't an mp3, it's .aiff.

  • URGENT start tag needs to be generated in xml output

I am getting the xml output as below
since my value for each element is empty doesn't generate the start tag. BUT I NEED START TAG also to be created with this xml file. What property need to specify while generating it thro' Transformer and TransformerFactory. Please help me

I don't quite understand your question. You want to have the start tag of each element outputed or you want one root element start tag to be outputed?
If it's the first case, try separating start and end tags from your elements instead of having them combined, i.e. do the following:
    replace
    <addressLine1/>by
    ]<addressLine1>
</addressLine1>I don't know if this is the answer you expect, reply if not.

  • Need help creating tags

    Hi!
How do I create a tag so that I could use that to export data out of Indesign and into an excel sheet? I need to tag up a 416 page catalog with book titles and they're sku along with the page number? Thank you so much for your help!

    Hi there
Your thread seems as if you are using Conditional tagging to
ensure topics appear. While it's possible to accomplish, it's a bit
on the tricksy side. You will likely have much better luck if you
    use tagging to *EXCLUDE* topics.
Keep in mind that any topic with no tag associated is
    automatically included by default.
For example, lets say you have two topics. One aimed at a US
target and one aimed at a UK target. You would use two tags.
Perhaps naming one UK and the other US. You then apply the US tag
to any topic with a US target and the UK tag to any topic with a UK
target. Then you choose to exclude one or the other. So if your
output is intended for a UK audience, the build expression is NOT
US. Likewise, for a US audience, the build expression is NOT UK.
    Cheers... Rick

  • How to force simple tags and null attributes to appear when using SQL/XML?

    Hello everybody:
    I'm developing a non-schema based XMLType view.
When the XML document is generated, i noticed two things I need to manage in order to achieve the desired result:
    1. Oracle generates a <tag></tag> pair for each XMLELEMENT defined; in my case, some tags need to appear as <tag/>... how do I do? Is it possible when using schema based XMLType views? Is it possible while using a non-schema approach?
    2. When using XMLATTRIBUTE('' AS "attribute") or XMLATTRIBUTE(NULL AS "attribute"), no one attribute with label "attribute" and null value appears at the output; how do I force to Oracle DB to render those attributes which are with no values (needed to render those attributes as another parsing code will await for all the items)?
    3. Some tip about how to route the output to an XML text disk file will be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Hello odie_63, thanks for your reply:
Reasons why needed single tags are these two next: Needed to generate a single XML file from 50,000,000 rows, where the XML ouput matches not only row data but another default values for another elements and attributes (not from database but using strings and types with default values); by using start and end tag, the generated file is as much twice bigger than using single tags; second, needed a very precise presentation for all the document.
For generating that document, currently focus is based on using a batch process relying on Spring Batch with using a single JDBC query where a join happens between two tables. From my point of view, that approach uses: database resources, network resources, disk resources, and processing resources, including the price of making the join, sending to network, creating objects, validating, and making the file (Expending too much time generating that XML file). That processs currently is in development.
I think possibly another approach is delegating the complete generation of that file to the database using its XML capabilities. My current approach following your recomendations is to generate a clob where I will put all the XML and putting it into a table. It leads me to another issues: Considering limitations on memory, processing and disk space, needed to append a single row-as-xml into the clob as soon as possible, and putting the clob inside the field as soon as possible, or putting the clob inside the field, and appending into it as the data is generated; so How do I manage the process in order to achieve that goals?. Seen these issues aren't related to my original question, so I'll open a new post. Any help will be apreciated.
    Thanks again in advance.

  • Question about 'tags' in ecommerce templates?

I have a client with an Ecommerce section. Now the System email for the invoice is setup fine however the client wanted to add a 'thank you' block of text to the email. No problem. Then they came back and wanted to have the 'thank you' block of text only email to the customer when they order something BUT have the invoice printable without the 'thank you' block of text so they can keep a hardcopy of the invoice. So I created a quick page template to have the 'thank you' text in and add this to the System Email Inovice which worked fine BUT now the client wants to have the recipients name in the email that goes out and it doesn't seem to work with the page template I have created. Is this possible to add a tag in a page template that will pick up a customers name when added to the system email?

I have the everything as you mention in one invoice. The invoice I build is landscape and sweet. This is just tweaking. If it is two pages for him in the CRM if someone prints theirs from the email they will still have the same problem so only having it in the email is like saying "Hey, dont care if it is messy for you dude, as long as I am sweet" which you dont want.
Client should get the nicest one
In terms of the other invoice option if they use drop shipping and set their staff as the drop shipper in the CRM then you can use that email to send out an invoice with different layout as you need it to show or not show things.
Page templates should not be used on emails as lots of modules and layouts will not work. Specific template designed for email will be needed but tags only render in their relevent layouts.
Want to always please your clients I know but never take what their asking for and just go with it, for me, this task all seems not worth any time, not anything out of it, not worth the hassle and a good tidy up of the invoice itself from the sounds of it is all you need.

I downloaded your html template and it works fine for that template and the xml, but in my case it is not working. I need to assign the template just for one field called "Comments" where I need <<br>> tag to work.
I modified the html as you suggested with the Tidy software, here is what I have done may be you can help me here. I very much appreciate your help.
    1. I have imported the template with the tag <<?import:file:///C:/dfb/biPub/code/htmlmarkup.xsl?>> and it works fine.
    2. Assigned the xsl - assign-template to the comments field.
    <xsl:apply-templates select="Fact._COMMENTS_" />
*** IncidentsFact_._COMMENTS is the field name where it has <<br>><</br>> embedded into the comments data.

  • Tagged Text

    Hi folks,
I have some text in CSV file(Excel file) containing first row as header, and the reset is data vaues belonging to those columns.
I can read the data from the file, now I want to assign the each row of data to parts of a text box in InDesign, something like Data Merge plugin available in PMPack folder. For this reason I need to tag the place of of each destination item in text box with something like <<>> (as it is in Data Merge).
    Now my question is:
How can I set the tag in text box and associate it to an item (column) in my list? Is any sample code available to give me some hints for this?
    TIA,
    Nima

I am presuming that your question is that you don't know where to get the info from.
    So experiment.
    For example use Tree.pennPrint().
And tdl is a collection. So iterate through that collection, get each item and print the properties of each

  • Tagging in Story Editor messing up Structure

I have an XML file that looks like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <MailItem attribute1="value1" attribute2="and so on...">
         <Mail_ID>12345</Mail_ID>
         <CustomerName>Mr. Bray</CustomerName>
         <Sale_Date>2015-02-24</Sale_Date>
<AndOtherElementsToo>Which are not important right now</AndOtherElementsToo>
    </MailItem>
It's important to note that this document will only ever have ONE <MailItem> (gauranteed), which makes it a root element. I've tried wrapping this in ANOTHER root element called <MailJob> but that caused problems too. More on that in a minute.
I have an InDesign Template that is very straightforward. No tables, nothing. I import my XML file into my TAGS panel and I go to town tagging various text placeholders with things like Mail_ID, and Sale_Date.  I perform a test IMPORT XML and things look great.  A minor annoyance is if the elements are not in the correct order in the STRUCTURE pane, they won't import correctly, but I can engineer around this by ensuring the elements are produced in a static order. So far so good.
The problem comes when I go to the "letter" part of my template. It begins, "Dear So And So," (literally).  Since I want "So And So" to be the actual name from my data, I need to tag this. I open this up in the Story Editor (since I only want PART of the text replaced) and I select "So And So" and I select the CustomerName tag from my Tag panel.
What happens next is where the wheels come off the wagon and I am in desperate need of help. As SOON as I tag it, three things happen:
The tag appears in the Story Editor. Looks nice. No problem here
A new TAG appear in my TAG pane called "Story"
My Structure pane creates a new element called Story and nests a new element, CustomerName underneath it
When I perform a test import now, the greeting on the letter doesn't get replaced (the data doesn't import) because, duh, the structure doesn't match the data coming in. It's looking for <MailJob><Story><CustomerName>Mr. Bray</CustomerName></Story></MailJob> which I do not have in my XML file.
I learn that setting the Tag Preset Options allows me to change the "Story" default to any pre-existing tag. Great!  This solves problem #2 above (the "Story" tag no longer gets created in my TAGS panel).  But problem #3 still happens; My structure now looks like this:
    MailItem
    Mail_ID
    CustomerName
    Sale_Date
    MailItem "Dear So And So,"CustomerName
Arg!  All manners of attempting to drag and drop the new, nested CustomerName element to higher in the Structure results in the text being UNTAGGED in the placeholder and the process begins again when I try to fix it.
I thought for a moment that maybe tags embedded within the story editor need to live within a second-level element instead of right under the root element, so I wrapped the whole XML file in <MailJob> </MailJob> elements. This only proceeded to make it impossible to have normal one-to-one text placeholders import/replace correctly (even after I reloaded the tags in the TAGS panel from the newly wrapped file). I didn't even bother testing the within-Story-Editor tags since this is a deal breaker right off the bat.
I can't simply reformat the XML to match what InDesign is expecting because we have ONE xml format (and exporter) for hundreds of document layouts. I *really* don't want to applying XSLT for every quirky change the design group wants to make (e.g. "We want to suddenly start using the state name in the text of the letter, can you update the XSLT file?"), and besides, we run GIANT jobs (thousands of individual documents) and XSLT processing EACH XML file will slow things down more than I want (I've already got a slow process upstream I'm dealing with, I don't want to make it any slower)
I'm going crazy, the pressure is on, and I'm desperate for help.  Why can't I get existing XML elements to import INSIDE of a placeholder (along with static text or other elements) the same way they do when I tag an entire placeholder? What am I doing wrong?

Have you tried underscoring your So_and_So text?
In any case, here's what I get.
Brining in the XML, I get:
Importing a new XML, I get:
    Want the sample file?

              }catch (Exception e) {
                   log.error("Errore nell'estrazione della Partizione "+indice);
                   e.printStackTrace();
              return TagSupport.SKIP_BODY;
//All getter and setter functionsWhen I run the application I get this exception:
    jsp.error.beans.property.conversion
looking deeper in the class code jenerated from the jsp, I noted that the problem refers to the third attribute of the tag <ct:partizione>.
It seems It trys to set the attribute "partizione" with the value "tmpPartizione", but partizioni should be an output attribut non input. The varible tmpPartizione doesn't exist... the tag should create it.
I realized I didn't get how I should create a tag with output parameters.
    Anyone can explane me it?
    Thanks.

One suggestion: Take a closer look at the EL (expression language)
It has an excellent syntax for accessing collections/maps
${contenitoreCentralineTronco[index]} would exactly what you want, without having to write a custom tag for it.
If you REALLY want to do this as a custom tag, then you need to treat the input attribute as a String (the name of the variable you are going to create?) Right now your tag declares the attribute partizione as being of type ContenitorePartizioneBean which is probably the cause of the problem - you are passing it a String.
