Kitkat update messed my phone up. wifi not working right and bluetooth will not work. Says it is paired but won't work. Really angry about loosing calendar

How can I get bluetoth working again and can I go back to old jelly bean version?

Have you tried resetting network settings in settings, general, reset, reset network settings.
Complete that and from there try and go into settings after it restarts and see if you can manually connect to the network that you wanted.

Make sure you enter your new Id in settings/message, settings/facetime. ANy content that you downloaded with the old ID is forever linked to that old ID and if you have apps that were downloaded with the old ID and you want to update them you can only do that with the old ID. You could delete those apps and downlad them again ( and pay for them if they are not free apps)

You can't setup an iCloud account using a PC. You need a Mac, or an IOS device. You can sign into iCloud on your PC once you open an account.

The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. If you had been syncing notes on your iPod with iCloud before this happened, go to icloud.com and confirm that your notes are still there. If they are, you could either email them to yourself one at a time from icloud.com or you could sign into your icloud account on your other iPad in Settings>iCloud and turn Notes to On to sync them to your other iPod.

WIFI and Bluetooth will not turn on, DROID MAXX

Both WIFI and Bluetooth cannot now be activated on my DROID MAXX. No problems at all until the recent update, so I can only assume that this issue results from the update. At either the WIFI screen or at the Bluetooth screen, the window is empty except the slider, and when the slider is moved from OFF to ON, it hangs there about five seconds then slips back to OFF. Rebooting does make one difference: the first time you open the WIFI screen several options in a menu do appear in the window below the slider as expected, but after the first attempt to slide it to ON and then it returns to OFF, the options disappear and the window is again empty (except for the impotent slider). Is there a fix?

after a hard reset, wifi works and bluetooth works. I’ll reply here if they stop working again.

After upgrading thunderbird worked somewhat and now will not open.

Thunderbird was acting weird so I upgraded to whatever came up after clicking update. It worked a few times and now will not open. Clicking it produces the timer spiral for a second or two and then it stops not opening program, would like to know how to fix or at the least be able to retrieve emails and dictionary. running win 7

HT5616 how do i change my apple id on my iphone. I have changed it on my account but the phone still has the old id and therefore will not allow me to doadload any apps

How do I change my Apple ID on my iphone? I had to change my email address but haven't been able to successfully on the my phone and not it will not allow me to download apps because the id is the old one

settings - app/itune store - apple id - log out and log back in with your new id.
NOTE: apps are tied to the apple id that was used to purchase it.

I updated to FCP X 1.6, now my projects and events will not read

I chose the option update projects and events upon launching 1.6. Now my hard drive is being read as a camera, and I can't load my old events and projects. Strangely when I first open FCP, it appears to read the projects and events, and opens showing the drive and events, but then they simply disappear. Any ideas how to load the events and projects?
P.S. I tried going back to 1.5, but now that I chose the update events it will not read.

You have a folder at the root of your hard drive that is confusing FCP X.
Common names are "Private", "DCIM", "Video", and others.
Rename or put the offending folder inside another folder (i.e. not at the root of the hard drive).

Ok, so after like 4 days of going through all these different issues, I figured out that several programs weren't downloading, and it was an issue with my wireless connectivity messing up the digital signatures, so if you plug in your comp to the modem and delete your temp files, it should start to work!

HT201269 I just traded my old phone for a new phone and I am trying to set it up. I am attempting to back up my phone from the latest restore point and it will not allow me to do so.

I am unable to get the information from I cloud to my new device from the latest restore point.

If your old iPhone was more up-to-date it won't restore a newer version's backup.
Set up as a new device (Skip Apple ID Sign-in to save time) and update iOS, then do Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings to restart the iOS Setup Assistant and restore your iCloud Backup.
If it still won't work, contact AppleCare as there may be a problem with the iCloud Backup. They never charge for troubleshooting iCloud issues.
