KQL Path Selector which works in my QA Environment as well?

I'd like to use the content search web part using a KQL query in the followng way to return results from a single list.
Query= Path:http://hostname/path/to/list/ {searchboxquery}
however, based on my understanding of the hostname, this will cease to function when we do a content refresh to our QA environment because the hostname will be different.
I tried the following
Query={SiteCollection}/path/to/list/ {searchboxquery} but that didn't yield any results in the preview-pane.
Is it possible to write something like server-relative KQL so that I can write it once and have it work in all our environments?

Hi,
I understand you would like to replace specific sitename in Keyword query language in case of changing of sitename.
I tried using wildcard in the path, however, suffix match wildcard is not supported i.e. path:http://*/lists/list1
Then we should find out another managed property which can point to the specific list. You could select one in the Property filter dropdown list.
The existing properties as I could find out could not meet the requirement that it will not change after imported to another site. So you might would like to use an extra property to put a mark to the specific list. However it will be more complicated and
I would not recommend.
In addition, if you would like to display a list in the local site collection, why not using list web part? There is OOB list filter web part for filtering purpose.
