Kron cli problem

Hi All,
Im trying tu use kron funcionality, but I got problem.
My config (just testing one):
kron policy-list test
cli configure terminal
cli interface Loopback 50
cli exit
kron occurrence test in 1 oneshot
policy-list test
and I get this result from debugging, command "conf t" works, but "interface loopback 50" doesnt,
it gives Kron CLI return 2
Dont somebody know, what do I do wrong?

Hi, thanks but my tacacs somehow doesnt want to accept authorization requests (it gives invalid tacacs packet...) even if command "event manager session cli username" is there. But it works because of "if-authenticated" rule in aaa policy, which is second rule after tacacs authentication.
To be honest, I dont understand how router can perform these commands, even if it doesnt ask for any authentication (at least no authentication request is visible in ACS log) It probably uses authentication of user who originaly set timer for action... and because of "if-authenticated" rule it executes commands.

BT6500 and CLI problem.

Hi, new here so apologies if this subject has been covered.
I have just bought a BT6500 set of phones, they sounded just what I needed to stop nuisance calls. The problem is that my CLI doesn't work with this phone.
My CLI works with an old corded handset and the new BT6500 works ok on a friends phone line so both the CLI and phone works thus there seems to be a compatibility problem with my line and this phone.
I have tested the BT6500 at the test socket to eliminate any noise on internal wiring and tried several different filters and it still doesn't work.
Unfortunately I live miles from the telephone exchange and suspect this may be the route of my problem i.e. The BT6500 may be more sensitive to noise than my cheap corded phone.
Any suggestions? Can BT boost the cli signal at the local exchange or can they reduce line attenuation at all?

CLI Problem

I need a help from you.
Back ground of the problem
I am using Nokia E90. In our country there are different mobile service providers. I give you example, we have a network provider Mobilink and thier number starts with code 0300, Ufone is another service provider and its code is 0333. My number which starts from 0300 can be issued from Ufone with diferent prefix (0333)to some one else. e.g if i am using 03008443245, the same number with 0333 can be used by some one else i.e 03338443245
Problem
I have saved my number in my mobile. Yesterday a person called me from same number with prefix of Ufone. My mobile shows that Faiza is calling i.e my name was appearing on CLI. My handset is not smart enough to check that prefix is different. This way that person can call or send bad sms to any of my firends and they will think that i am sending that sms because my name will appear on CLI. Pls pls solve my problem, how can make my handset intelligent enough to see the prefix of the phone number.

Unfortunately no..
You cant make your phone smart enough to show you that a differt prefix is calling.
-The phon only recognises the last 6-10 digits depanding on certain models.
-But i guess most phones recogises the last 6 digits.
Therefore it will recognise as Faiza calling if the first 2-3 numbers a different.
You may provide your feed back to nokia using the contact us tab above and hopefullythe upcoming softwares will recognize more digits to the number.

Nokia C1-02 Not identifying caller (CLI problem)

Hi everyone, I have bought Nokia c1-02 v5.40
Some Numbers are saved in phonebook with country code +923xx and some are saved without country code 03xx.
When some caller calls me, his name is not displayed (identified) but when this caller sends me sms, then his name is displayed ..... and some callers names are displayed during call but not displayed in sms.
any solution to this problem?

Let me re-explain everything again
I have bought Nokia c1-02 (China Mobile) from CHINA which was on software v5.40 and now i have updated to v6.15. I am now in Pakistan now. The problem which i am facing is:
1. I have saved a person "Peter" with mobile number "+923xxxxxxxxx". Now
when Peter calls me, his name appears on my mobile screen but when Peter
sends me sms, then his name is not displayed in incoming sms.
2. I have saved another person "Ali" with mobile number "03xxxxxxxxx". Now
when Ali calls me, his name doesn't appears on my mobile screen but when
Ali sends me sms, then his name is displayed in incoming sms.
3. But When i save a person "Steve" with 02 mobile numbers "+923xxxxxxxxx"
& "03xxxxxxxxx" , Name of Steve is displayed both on incoming call as well
as sms.
I hope you understand my problem as it is not duplicate contacts issue.
Any solution to my problem?

CLI problem with PGW

I have enabled CLIDefaultAllowed on ISUP links and CLI is carried properly from Q931 to ISUP trunks.
But from VoIP trunks (SIP and H.323) the CLI is not being transferred. I am using PGW 9.6(1).
Any ideas to help?

Sony Clie problems

My son-in-law gave me his Sony Clie. I used the installation disc that accompanied the device. It installed a different version of desk top. (I already had the most recent version of desktop on my computer). Now I cannot access any of my data. Help, please.

Hello Montague and welcome to the Palm forums.
Sony did things differently than Palm. You may not be aware, but Sony has stopped making the Clie some years ago and the version of Palm Dekstop that you installed from the Clie software CD is not compatible with the version for your current Palm.
I would suggest that you reinstall Palm Desktop from the CD that came with your Palm-braded device. I would try just running the installer right over the top of whatever you have installed now to try and preserve your data.

Hello,
This error message literally means that the crypto signature on your router and the crypto signature in the IPS signature update do not match. This can be the result of an incorrect pubkey in your router configuration or a corrupt signature package. If you transfer the signature update from one computer to another after downloading it from Cisco.com, be sure to do the transfer in binary mode. Transferring the file in ASCII mode will remove various characters from the binary file and make the file unusable. If you have not transferred the file after downloading it from Cisco.com, or you are certain that you have not used ASCII mode to transfer the file, try downloading the file again from Cisco.com. The original download may have been corrupt.

Problem when streaming with the CLI flash media encoder 2.5

I have a problem when streaming with Flash Media Encoder 2.5. When I run the GUI, everything works, but when I use the commandline with the same profile I have created using the GUI, it says it can't connect to the server.
I have to use this version of the encoder, because the other is not working with the server, and I have to create a program to remotely control the flash media encoder, so I have to use the CLI. What can i do to go over this problem?

First of all, thankyou.
There is no authentication needed. I can't use Flash Live Media Encoder 3 because it is not supported by the people which manages the server i have to connect to.
In fact, I don't know why they dont support it, but that is the way it is.
Through the GUI, i connect directly and without problems, without user/pass.

Es-cli batch mode problems

I can not get es-cli to accept my parameters file. It is no longer sending out errors but it's not logging me in either.
If I pass the paramters file but not a batch file I get to the prompt with out error but I'm not logged in. If I pass in a batch file I get the following error.
Error in the backend Process, please try again: Not owner
My files look like this

I got it to work, I was making a dumb error.
my command sytax was
es-cli -i parametersfile -b batchfile
when it should have been
es-cli i=parametersfile b=batchfile

Trying SSH CLI , reading command line method is infinte loop problem!

I am trying excute command and reading result. but reading result part has problem.

That loop will loop until readLine() returns null, which will only happen when the other end closes its end of the connection, and it will block while no data is available.

CLI Connect Problems

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but here it goes. I can connect successfully with GUI Client and profile. When I try using vpnclient connect myProfile user xxx pwd xxx I get an error stating VPN connection terminated locally by the client.

Because you are trying to establish conenction via command prompt while VPN client's GUI is running. Right-click the VPN icon i taskbar at right-bottom and click exit. Or in Task manager, locate vpngui.exe and terminate the process. Then try running the command again

How can I stay on the same line when inputting values in the CLI?

The title is a bit vague i know :) but i have this issue which isn't really a problem but it would be better if I can solve it.

I've made this simple addition (and more options but thats not relevant) application for kids in my spare time so that they can train their maths in school and compare their results with other students which is saved in the database using the hypersonic DB that comes with the JBoss application server.
Now so far so good, but i'm having an issue with the Scanner (I think, but i doubt its because of the CLI) , when i enter a number or text it works and exceptions will be catched etc but when i press the enter key without anything entered the input value wil be displayed a line below and that's not what I want. I want it to stay in the same line.
