Labels in 10g using

I'm trying to customize the label template in 10g. I'm using the PRINT_EXTERNAL_SEARCH_RESULTS_LABELS service along with ReportMaker. I'm customizing <@dynamichtml create_barcode_report_external@> in pcm_barcode_template_resource.htm. I've almost got it perfect. I'm using table, cell and phrase objects (I couldn't get the row object to work) I can't figure out how to control the height of my labels. There doesn't seem to be an object attribute to do this. The only thing I can think of is using font size and new lines.

Try to set the Font Subsetting like below in the file uifont.ali

If it works after this modification, the problem will be related to the Font Aliasing

After i put a jtable,navigator on the form using appmoduledatacontrol on the top-right side of the jdeveloper, i run the form. Everything goes ok listing rows of data. But the error appears when i change the value of a field on the table and updating it using navigator.

You don't get a response from a URLRequest, you get the response from a URLLoader:

Has anyone setup BIEE with OLAP 10g using value-based dimension hierarchies

I just wanted to know if it is possible to setup BIEE with 10g using multple dimensions containing multiple value-based hierarchies?
I know this involves using the OLAP Cube View Generator to create an sql view of the cube data.
I have been able to get this to work with nine dimensions all containing a single value-based hierarchy bar one which had four value-based hierarchies. But as soon as i have multiple hierarchies in multiple dimensions it seems to go haywire and i cannot get the sql view to return correct data.
I thought i would post on the BI side to see if anyone has been successful in creating a BIEE setup like this?

The simple answer to your question,
how robust is the 11g materialised views with multiple value-based hierarchies...?is that materialized views are not supported on top of value-based hierarchies in 11g. The reason is that it is not possible to write a reasonable SQL statement that aggregates a fact over a value-based hierarchy. Such a SQL statement is necessary if we want to create a rewritable MV on top of the cube.
But I suspect this is not what you are really asking. If you are trying to set up OBIEE on top of the cube in 10g using the view generator, then you will probably want to use the "ET VIEWS" that are generated automatically in 11g. These are generated whether or not you enable materialized views on top of your cube. I am not aware of any issues with the generated value-based hierarchy view support in 11g. Members may be shared between value hierarchies and you will not need to generate or modify limit maps.

What version of Oracle Forms are you using? If it is 10.1.2.0.2 (10g R2 Phase 2) then the BI Beans version should be 10.1.2.1 (3.2.2.0.24.2).
When you run a Graph, do you see any version numbers?
Regardless of the version, scatter graph should work. What kind of errors are you getting?
When you install BI Beans in JDeveloper, you get access to BI Beans Help. Go to the following topic for setting up data for a scatter graph:

I would like to know if there is any API / Open interface through which we can create new shipping labels and rules using PLSQL.
I have analysed the forms "WMSLABEL.fmb" (Label creation form) and found the are doing direct insertion into the std tables "wms_label_formats" and "wms_label_field_variables". Same is the case for "WMSRULEF.fmb" (Rule Creaton) form.

To answer your first question, the scrollRect property "masks" the display object. This property is assigned in the scrollChildren() of the Container class.

I believe the answer to your second question would be that, Container.validateDisplayList() calls createContentPaneAndScrollbarsIfNeeded() in a conditional and if that returns true, then it will call super.validateDisplayList(). So the contentPane seems to be created *during* validateDisplayList(), if its needed.
