LabVIEW formula to LaTeX format Converter

Does anyone know if there is a VI available that will convert a LabVIEW formula to LaTeX format?
e.g.
(a1+a2)/2   ---->    \frac{a1+a2}{2}
I wanted to check if something like this is available before venturing off and attempting to make my own.

  • Date format convert error in XML interface based Adobe interactive forms

    Hi experts,
    I am using XML interface based Adobe interactive form in Web Dynpro ABAP. The form just contains some date fields and numeric fields.
    When I test the WD Application, the date fields appear like 0000-00-00 at the first time. And then I set the form input disable, and get the XML from the form, at the same time I get the warning message, 'date format convert error'. By the way, I have set the edit pattern, display pattern and data pattern  of the date field to YYYYMMDD, but there seems no effect.
    Could you tell me how to set the default date format in date field Or clear the 0000-00-00?
    And another question, all of the numeric fields in the form appear like 0.0, how can I set it to empty when the form initialize?
    Best Regards,
    Guo Guo Qing

    Hi Chintan,
    Thank you for your reply.
    I have tried every possible changes on the Date field, locale, pattern. But still no effect. When the PDF come up in the WDA program, the date field is still '0000-00-00', and then I export the XML date of the form, there is also '0000-00-00' in the interface field.
    I can't clear the '0000-00-00' in initializiation event using javascript because if I need to open the form again, if I do this, the value user input could be cleared.
    I also try using Javascrip like this
    if this.rawValue == "0000-00-00"
    { this.rawValue = ""; }
    The code above can't clear the initializiation zeros too.
    Have you used the XML interface based online Adobe Forms? I have used XML PDF forms for output before, that's perfect. But the input forms seems so strange.

  • Conversion of LaTeX formatting?

    I have some text in a database that I write out in InDesign Tagged Text
    format for placing in an InDesign CS3 document. Normally, this text is just
    plain text.
    However, now I noticed some LaTeX formatting codes (LaTeX is a document
    formatting language/system used often in the scientific publishing field).
    It would be nice to interpret some of these that are easy, at least in a
    rudimentary way (bold, italic, superscript, subscript, etc.)
    Has anyone ever come up with a solution for handling LaTeX formatting code
    with InDesign, either directly or through processing of a tagged-text file
    before placing it in InDesign?
    I'm looking for something that doesn't require manual intervention in 300
    pages of text.
    Thanks,
    Lance

    From what I understand LaTeX supports exporting to XML. That would most
    likely be the best way to get it from LaTeX to InDesign.

  • Does LabVIEW support Multi Document Format

    Hi
    I had a doubt that does LabVIEW support Multi Document Format like Microsoft Word, execel etc.
    please reply me with some solution if anyone has
    With Regards
    Avni

    Yes, I know very well what MDI is, I just don't know what Multi Document Format is
    Programs like word, excel, etc support reading/writing of files in multiple formats (e.g. *.doc, *.rtf, *.txt, etc. for word or *.xls, *.csv, etc. for excel), so the question could be along these lines. I guess we have to wait for the original poster to come back to clarify.

  • How to convert Labview document into PDF format

    Hi! can any one tell me, can we convert the Labview document (Labview saved files)into PDF format. I wanted to convert it using a VI. If any one suggest me or send me the example vi i will be very thankful.

    Hi,
    We have a brand new PDF library for LabVIEW. Release date is in october. The library can create pdfs, with all kinds of text writing and picture stuff. It works stand alone, so there is no need for other programs. It should also be platform independend.
    If your interested, drop me a mail. I can send you mail when it's released. Maybe we can give you a "beta test", if you send use your findings.

  • Converting BSO formula to ASO format

    Does anyone know how to convert the following to work in ASO?Rolling 12 Month Average Rolling 12 Month Average = (@SUMRANGE (CY, @CURRMBRRANGE(Year, LEV, 0, , 0)) + @SUMRANGE (PY, @CURRMBRRANGE(Year, LEV, 0, 1, 12))) / 12;Thanks

    Hi,
    If your concern is to avoid the usage of 'MISSING',in the case if its not a "No_Product",then , you rather use the
    CASE in your ASO formula ,rather than IIF.
    ex:
    case
    when(IS([Products].CurrentMember, [No_Product]) )
    then [Payroll Amount]+[Payroll Amount]*([Labor Tax],[No_Entity],
    [No_Company],[No_product])
    end
    Do take care of the syntax.
    Hope this helps you.

  • Formula in POV row converted to text on refresh

    We are upgrading our Essbase and Smart View set up to the latest versions (11.1.2.2 and 11.1.2.5 respectively). Currently our reports use the old grid format, so I am converting them to the new format, including having the POV on the sheet itself.
    One of the dimensions on the POV row is set by referring to a cell on the front page of the report, so that all of the sheets can have their POV changed from one place - i.e. =Cover!$A$1. This works on many of the sheets, but on some when the sheet is refreshed the formula is replaced by the current value of Cover!$A$1, so the dynamic link is lost.
    I can't see any difference between the sheets where this is and isn't a problem, the options look the same - Preserve Formulas and Comments in ad hoc operations is selected, Preserve formula on POV change is disabled and greyed out but that doesn't seem to matter on the sheets where it's working fine.
    Any ideas?
    Many thanks,
    James

    What is the Smart View version?
    I had the same issue, however we are using macros for retrieval, so I've the luxury to update the POV when I run it.
    I don't see that in 11.1.2.3 Smart View release

  • Has anyone created a file format converter from "universal file format" uff, to another format?

    I need to find or create a file converter from the different Universal formats to another ASCII format. Does anyone know where I can get formating information about UFFs? Has anyone done this? Thanks in advance.

  • LabVIEW webservice: How to format the published XML data

    Hi,
    Im trying to  publish some measurement data with LabVIEW webservice and read the data with Android client. However i have some problems with the XML output from the LabVIEW webservice.
    I want to publish the data in in this form:
    <Response>
     -<Terminal>
            <Parameter> Temperature</Parameter>
             <Value> 5 </Value>
            <Unit> ºC </Unit>
           <Description> Measurements from Sensor 1</Description>
       </Terminal>
    </Response>
    Any ideas how i can do this? i havent found any good example on how to format the XML output this way.

    Hi,
    You can format the data using Format Into String as shown in the attached snippet. Is this maybe something you can use?

  • HELP: Run-time array dimension in LabVIEW formula node

    I need to dimension an array at run time within a formula node as follows:
    int32 i,N;
    N = sizeOfDim(inputArray,0);
    float64 outputArray[N];
    for (i = 0; i outputArray[i] = myfunction(inputArray[i]);
    However, LabVIEW complains "Formula Node: index list expected". On the
    other hand, if I say
    float64 outputArray[1000];
    LabVIEW is perfectly happy. But that's not what I need to do! Is there
    an alternative
    way of accomplishing my goal?
    BTW, I've tried calculating N outside the formula node and then
    presenting it as
    an input with the same results. I've got a bad feeling that run time
    array dimensioning
    just isn't allowed.
    TIA,
    Hugh

    Can't you just use the Initialize Array function outside the formula node and pass that instead?

  • 3d format - convert to fbx

    Hi all,
    has anyone had any sucess creating an after effects plugion which converts an after effects file (with 3d camera and other 3d elements) into filmbox (fbx) format?
    I love animating with the puppet tool in AE, but need it to go into Unity (and sometimes through Blender or other 3D program) so converting the AE scene into filmbox format would be the ideal solution.
    thanks
    Matt

    Hi Mike,
    thanks for taking the time to respond.
    My chum Bal Singh at Leeds Met uni came up with a potential solution that I haven't yet had a chance to download and try.

    Will report back when I get chance to give it a go.

  • Resizing labview window that has been converted

    I just would if it is possible to resize a labview window once it has been converted to a different version. I have labview 7.1 and converted to 6.1 and I am trying to resize the window but it doesn't let me. Is there another way around this?

    You should be able to resize any vi even though it has been converted.  Go to the File Menu and select VI Properties.  Then select Window Size in the Catagory box.  Make sure that zeros are entered for the Minimum Panel Size, and that the "Set the Front Panel to the width and height of the entire screen" checkbox is unchecked.

    thanksA java.util.Date is just a long. So when you said "System.out.println("Current date and time is: "+date);" you called the "toString()" method of java.util.Date, which formats it to a String the way you see. You have the date formatted the way you want in the "rdate" String, so try "System.out.println("Current date and time is: " + rdate);" and see if that works out for you.
