Laptop spec help please
Hi,
I have just started using Dreamweaver and Photoshop. My last laptop ran really slowly once I was using them so I am looking to buy a new one. I would like to know what spec laptop I need to run these programmes efficiently.

Look at the min-requirements for Photoshop. It's the most memory intensive of the two.

Then buy or have built for you a super fast, 64-bit processor & 64-bit OS, the biggest hard drive, the fastest video card and the most RAM memory that you can reasonably afford.

i found maybe the best way how to transfer Voice Memo from my iPhone 4i(OS6) to my iMac M.Lion 10.8.2.
On iPhone
Note:
You don't need the computer that You make sync with the iPhone, the thing that its important is that
Your iMac must to be signed with the same account Apple account as Your iPhone, hope work for iPad & iPod Touch.
1.Go to Your iPhone in voice memo, after the memo on the right side You have blue arrow click it.
2.You have tab Share click on it!
3.From the third option Click on message
3.A) This is in the case that You dont have Your number as contact.
4.Send to:? find Your Mobile number 123-1234-1232 something like this.
5.Click Send
On iMac
6.Open the iMessages You must to see that You received the file,It takes time so wait little bit.
7.Double click on the message that You received.
8.Now You see it as iTunes file.
9.Now You have two options:
A) Open in iTunes in this option You open the file as it is 8 min, 10, min....etc doesn matter.
B) Send File
- again 2 option or to mail or to message

My ICloud was hacked. So I updated my password and now have my Iphone and the Icloud online email working. Yet the email set up on my Macbook Pro still will not work and I ran through the troubleshooting. It has ICloud IMAP. Can someone please help me with this?
Thank you.First, a caution: Do not retry passwords. Trying random passwords or wrong passwords more than (usually) twice, and that'll usually trip evasion, and you'll get blocked even with the right passwords. If you've retried random passwords, you'll have to let things "cool off" for a while, and try again later.
Open up the details drawer in the Mail.app Connection Doctor troubleshooting, and re-run the connection tests. Expurgate anything sensitive from the diagnostics, and post the iCloud-related errors here.
Alternatively, remove the iCloud account from the accounts listed within Mail.app. Re-add it. See if that clears the issue.
Alternatively and if the other options here fail, contact Apple iCloud support directly and request assistance. -
My Macbook Pro just started shutting down when I connect my IPhone to the laptop. Help please.
Everytime I connect my Iphone 4 to my Macbook Pro (purchased in 2006), the computer shuts down and reboots automatically before IPhoto even opens. I need to back up my IPhone so I can upgrade. PLEASE HELP!

After computer crashed, I can not Sync iPad (1)to 2nd laptop. Help please.
Ihave 2 laptops. Main cashed... I now can not 'sync' my iPad to my 2nd laptop. (Both are Windows 7 boxes)
I tried logging into my Acct with my Apple ID... still can not sync.

The release of iTunes 11.0.2 and iOS 6.1.2 for my iPhone 4, seems to have sorted everything. I can now sync music, films and photos between my MacBook and my phone.
I was dubious about blindly doing the updates but decided they couldn't really mess up any further functionality so I went for it and it's sorted now.
Look in to, and take the gamble, it's up to you. -
i was wondering when best buy would offer a 12 month or maybe 18 month no interest because school is about to start up and i wanted to get a macbook pro i already have a best buy credit card thing so im just waiting in them to hopefully get a deal going on. i already tried doing the apple 12 month no interest but unfortunately i was not approved. so anybody please help??
How long as your Best Buy Card been at a zero balance? It will eventually close by itself without activity.

Go to Solution.You can connect the wireless router to just a high speed connections without having a desktop. You will just need to connect the router to your notebook for initial setup, after that you will be wireless 100%.

MacBook Air with Mavericks. I need to download agendas with embedded files. This is through an encrypted email account. My Mac is blocked from even opening the embedded files on line and I can't save any of this to my laptop. It works fine on my PC laptop. Help please. I know this is a problem for other people too, but would love the solution!
Gee, Pat, this is a real big help.
Nobody could possibly think anyone would ask for help without first trying to fix the issue oneself. Or maybe you do. I have opened the file and looked under security. I have changed it to owner-notebook (which is what the techs called me) and clicked accept but geepers it didn't work.
Maybe someone else has an idea.

I ended up being able to open some pdf files after transferring them from one partition category to another. I wish it was that easy as you seem to think.

Try:
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I had all photos on a Windows desktop. Got a mac laptop, installed LR5, and put all images from Windows onto an external hard drive. When I go to import them into LR on the mac, they are all locked. Help, please!

Yes, that's exactly what happened. If you buy another drive, you could copy from your existing drive to the new and your files will be read/write. The new drive will have to be formatted as an HFS drive (that's the Mac's format). If you need to format it, you use Disk Utility which is in the Utilities folder on your Mac. Be careful with that -- it wipes out whatever is currently on the drive. Make sure you format the right drive.
I keep all my images on an external drive, too. In fact, I have two matching drives and sync them so I always have a backup. -
I have downloaded the adobe student suite and whenever I open any of the adobe applications my laptop is incredibly slow, I cannot use any other application at the same time and often have to force quit. I have taken all my files off my laptop and added to my external hardrive. Can anyone help please?
What about other non-Adobe programs on the machine - do they also run slowly?
What are your system specifications? How do they match up to the system requirements for the software?
