LaserWriter II NT and Max OS 10.3.9

Hello,
I am french, please, excuse me for my engkish !
I know Mac OS X in general don't allow to use Postscript level 1 for LaserWriter II NT. Is it possible to bypass the problem with Mac OS X 10.3.9 ? My LaserWriter II NT is very OK with Mac OS 9.2.2 and I don't want to buy a new printer to use Mac OS X !

If you do a search on print drivers in this section, you will find some good info. One message provided this URL for a Print Driver: http://www.linuxprinting.org/macosx/pslevel1
You might want to consider upgrading the printer to an LW IIg. I did my LW IInt 6 years ago for $40 USD from eBay. The upgrade will give you Network capability and a newer version of PostScript.

Has anyone used a touch screen monitor with scxi.I am having video lock ups while using LV and MAX

Have tried other serial ports 1,5. Touch screen works fine with windows until LabView and max is installed .Video lockups,Max failures occur.MAX seems to confict with touch screen.

Max is the NI interface for all the drivers. It may be a specific driver that is causing problems, perhaps NI-VISA. I would try installing things one piece at a time. Might want to start by uninstalling everything so that you start with a clean system. First install LabVIEW with no drivers at all. See if the Micro touch screen still works. Then try installing NI-DAQ. Install each of the drivers you need one at a time. If you don't need something, leave it out.

Min and MAx Value in a SELECT Statement

I have a scenario where I am Selecting the values BETWEEN MIN and MAX values:

ITS GETTING Error as:ORA-00934: group function is not allowed here

Find more than one min and max in 2D array contain 0 rows

I have a 2D array and I would like to find the max and min elements between series of 0s. As you can see in the picture If I remove all 0s from the array and use the max and min function then I will have just one min and one max but I need to find min and max after every 0 rows so you can see from the picture ( just as an example) I will have 3 min and 3 max numbers. Would you please help me with this code. Do you now any algorithm that can find min and max between 0s?
I have also attached my code to remove 0s and then search for max and min numbers but as I mentioned I need min and max for every part

Let me explain the exact problem again.
As per the below code, I have the data in this format in my table:

Now want to build a report with following columns:
Site     Count     KWH
IN-1     2     6 (ex.-28-22)
IN-2     2     21
IN-3     2     6
IN-4     3     46 (ex.-77-31)
IN-5     2     34
SITE- distinct site name.
COUNT-count is number of repetitions of site id between min and max date.
KWH -(Delta between the min and max date)
To get the above result I have created 3 report from different queries since not able to get these al in a single report viz Count, Max Value and Min value. Well I have all these 3 reports or table on a single page.
Count-this report will give the count between the dates
Max Value-this report will give me the values of kwh for max dates for each site id
Min Value-this report will give me the values of kwh for min dates for each site id
Now want to create a single report based on these 3 reports which contains the column
Site|Count|KWH
IS IT POSSIBLE?

Is it possible to build such report in a single one with all the required column which I mentioned?
The variables which I created to get the max & min dates,
Mx_dt= =Max([Query 2].[Hourly]) In ([Query 2].[SITE_ID])
Mn_dt= =Min([Query 3 (12)].[Hourly]) In ([Query 3 (12)].[SITE_ID])
For filtering on report used following variables:
if_st_mn=If([mn_dt])=[Hourly] Then "ok" Else "no"
if_st_mx =If([mx_dt])=[Hourly] Then "ok" Else "no"
will filter on "ok" to get the max and min date values.
rest of the variable in the snap are not usable.

I created a sample report from efashion:

Create 2 variables 1) Count and 2) Difference:
1) Count as formula - =Count([Lines]) In Report
2) Difference as formula - =Sum([Sales revenue]) Where (Max([Year]) In Report = [Year]) - Sum([Sales revenue]) Where (Min([Year]) In Report = [Year])
You can replace the formula with your report variables. Then just drag Site ID, Count and Difference variables to your report.

I am Shanmugavel, SharePoint developer,
I am facing the below SharePoint 2013 deployment issue while deploying using VS2012.
If i will deploy the same wsp or existing wsp
(last build) using direct powershell deployment, the solution adding properly, but the same timeout exception coming while activation the features. Please find the below error.
I tried the below activists:
1. Restarted my dev server, DB server.
2. tried the same solution id different server
3. tried existing wsp file (last build version)
4. Deactivated all the features, including project Active deployment configuration.... but still i am facing the same issue.
I hope this is not coding level issue, because still my code is not start running, before that some problem coming.
Please help me any one..... Last two days i am struck because of this...

What you need to understand is the installation of a WSP does not do much. It just makes sure that you relevant solution files are deployed to the SharePoint farm.
Next comes the point when you activate the features. It is when the code which you have written to "Activate" certain features for your custom solution.
Regarding the error you are getting, it typically means that you have more connections (default is I guess 100) open for a SQL database then you are allowed to.
If you have a custom database and you are opening a connection, make sure you close it as well.
Look at the similar discussion here:

How to retrieve Min(startDate) and Max(endDate) for different groups of data? (sql server 2000)

My sample dataset (below) contains 3 groups -- 'a', 'b', 'c'. I need to retrieve the Min(startDate) and Max(EndDate) for each group so that the output looks something like this (date format not an issue):
fk   minStart      maxEnd

b    2/14/1986    12/31/2003
c    4/26/1987    12/31/2002
What is the Tsql to perform this type of operation? Note: the actual data resides in a sql server 2000 DB. If the Tsql is different between version 2000 and the later versions -- I would be grateful for both versions of the Tsql
--I noticed that multiple lines of Insert values doesn't work in Sql Server 2000 -- this sample is in Sql Server 2008

It is unclear what you are trying to achieve, you said that it is SQL Server 2000 but provide a sample data with SQL Server 2008 syntax

Why does Live View not work with the following: @media only screen and (max-width: 480px)?

When I use the above media query in my stylesheet Live View ceases to update the viewport. I have to update it manually each time I add or change a style. This is not the case when I use styles under a common tablet sized query @media only screen and (max-width: 768px), or when there is no query at all. Is this a bug or is there something I am missing here?

Hi Uwe,
if I understand your question you need something like an alpha conversion.
You can use a formula, therefore is an textfunction called LPAD(text,len,pad).
You can use it like this:
LPAD(@yourtext, 18, "0")
@yourtext contains the input, the length is 18 and filling values is 0 like a alpha conversion.

Query 1:I am trying to export the Chart data(Total plots 6 ) only between the X scale Min Time and Max time limit .
But couldnt able to achieve that progammtically.
is their anyway to achieve this.
Query 2:Also ,In chart their is an right click option to export data to excel,but when using this option the data get exported in its own temporary name(iv*****.tmp),i dont want this to happen.Instead the data expored using that option should be written in a file specified by me(everyting should happen in backend)

1) read the chart history (or better keep a history in your own shift register) and limit the data to the XMin and XMax values (read all those chart settings from its properties). Then save the data using WriteToSpreadsheetFile…
2) The right-click option is as it is. When you need different behaviour you need to program your own routine. Once you finished query 1 it will be no problem anymore to also solve query 2…

Performance Issue using min() and max() in one SQL statement

I have a simple query that selects min() and max() from one column in a table in one sql statment.
The table has about 9 Million rows and the selected column has a non unique index. The query takes 10 secs. When i select min() and max() in separate statements, each takes only 10 msecs:
This statement takes 10 secs:
select min(date_key) , max(date_key)
from CAPS_KPIC_BG_Fact_0_A
where date_key != TO_DATE(('1900-1-1' ),( 'YYYY-MM-DD'))
This statement takes 10 msecs:
select min(date_key)
from MYTABLE
where date_key != TO_DATE(('1900-1-1' ),( 'YYYY-MM-DD'))
union all
select max(date_key) from MYTABLE
Because the first statement is part of an autmatic generated SQL of an application, i can't change it and i have to optimize the data model. How can i speed up the first statement?

The values when set should over ride the values set in Binding Tab.
This is all needed to print multiple Material Number labels on a single page - and the number of labels to be printed needs to be under user control - something like an Avery Address labels

Here is a work around that works for me and may not be an intelligent solution .
I kept the Min Count to 1 on the subform binding properties.
Per the number of labels required, I appended the same item to the internal table so many times and passed it to the label.
it works fine for my requirement.
However - leaving out the post for a while to see if this can be done at the form level via scripting.

Min and max constraints

In my database design and implementation module I'm at the implementation stage. I've set up all of my tables with PK and FK constraints and I'm wondering if you can enforce min and max column constraints. One of the rules of my DB is for my staff table there has to be a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 50, how would I enforce this rule as a constraint on the staff table or isn't this possible?
We have only been learning database design and SQL fundamentals so I don't think I'd be allowed to use triggers or procedures.
