Last Init request deletion

Is there any way to know which user deleted last init request status from BI ?

Hi,
the table RSSDLINIT holds "Last Valid Initializations to an OLTP Source"
I believe you'll have to play with RSSELDONE, RSREQDONE, /BI0/SREQUID as well:
1. get all inits from RSSELDONE (SELECT distinct RNR FROM RSSELDONE WHERE UPDMODE = 'C'.
You can get the time of request from RSREQDONE and it's SID (sequential number) in /BI0/SREQUID.
2.for each the the datasource/source system pair check if there is a valid init in RSSDLINIT with the same request ID; if no, this init has been deleted..

Unable to Delete init request

HI ALL,
i have a delta laod infoapckage, i tried init w/o data tranfer. request generated with '0' in the data target tab tab.
tried making it green and activate, i tried making it red and delete.. but its not getting deleted.. under update tab delta update option is enabled for infopackage

Request processing in the BI system is taking a long time and processing step Second step in the update has still not been executed.

Caller is still missing.
Procedure
In the process overview in the BI system, check whether processes are running in the BI system under the background user.
If this is not the case, check the short dump overview in the BI system.
please let me know the solution to activate dso in process chain with this infopackage

Can you tell me why you want to delete the request? What is the scenario?
What do u mean by already have delta IP, i tried init w/o data transfer?
If its not allowing to delete the request from DSO...
Delete the entry from the below table ... RSICCONT ...it will get deleted from the DSo as well.
Later delete the init selections from IP menu --scheduler --> Init options for source system --> delete the init request .
Tcode - se11 --RSICCONT -> enter the request and from menu select the option delete...it will delete the entry from DSO.

How to delete init request when load is taking place from ods to Cube

Dear All,
I have initiated the init load from ODS to Cube, but the init request was not successfull... Now on clicking the init infopkg i get the short dump error....
I am trying to acess this infopkg so that i can delete the old init and reschedule it again...
Now in order to avoid this error i need to delete the init request somehow..... Since data load is happening in BW system only there is no way to go to delta queue and delete the init...
How can i delete the init request in this case or how do i avoid this dumup error???

From se11, go to the table, see the content... from this window mark the check box for relevant entries in the first column and click on Display button (F7)
enter "/h" in the command prompt and press enter
Click the top most green button to execute.
From the debugging screen, double click on variable "CODE" change the value to "DELE" (from "SHOW") and save (by pressing enter in bi7 and by clicking pencil icon in bw 3.x ).
Press F8
In the result screen you will find the delete entry in the application bar
Delete one by one after ensuring the record content.
Better you can ask any abaper to delete the table entries in the debug mode coz its a production server..else you can call me 9500066350(I prefer you to go along with abaper if you have no option dont wait for calling).

If its delta queue based datasource (LO), i don't think it will create any problem. As your delta records are getting updated in your delta queue, you are just re-initalting init again for gettiing ur delta working properly.
Abt Timestamp based datasources (FI/CO), i am not much sure as you don't do any init setup for it manually. Do init without data transfer for the same selection, and load data for the days you have not extracted using repair full load. Hope it will bring delta for the days your load was not working properly. You need date field as selection for this in your datasource. Do you have date field in datasource?

Init selection deleted - recover possible?

Hi,
I am selectively initialising the attributes for the business partner. It concerns a new datasource with new attributes for the business partner.
As we have 5,2 million business partners I am initialising this part in ranges.
As for now I had 9 selective inits run properly. One init went wrong this night and I wanted to delete this "red" init in the infopackage settings. I selected only this one, however now all my inits are deleted.
Does anyone know how to restore these init selections? I can see a delta still present in SMQ1 in CRM, in RSA7 in CRM the delta is suddenly 0.
Would appreciate any kind of help!

Hi Hens,
Just check the red request is available in PSA and try to load from there.If not then you have to do init again.
Only option if the data is available in PSA in correct status.

Infocube to contain only last 7 requests

Hi ,
Please help me with this issue . . . .for BW 7.0
I am having a infocube which is having a daily load. the previous load is deleted everyday.
Now i want to archive this infocubes data to another infocube and this archive cube should contain only previous 7 days data.
i.e the rolling last 7 requests only.
So i need to write a process chain which will load data from daily cube to archive cube, and delete 8th day's data everyday.
Can you please suggest me how to do this. I tried using "Delete overlapping request from infocube" but that is not any help.
1) Are there any functionality in process chians which will delete 8th day;s data everytime
2) or can we apply a filter in DTP's
Please give in your suggestions

Multiple Init Requests

Hello Experts
I have a scenario where i have to load data into two different targets with one infosource.
I am loading the data into cube A (Init and Delta from the past one month) Now i have the requirement where i hve to load the data into the different Target with the same infosource.
But i couldnt able to do the Second Init for the second data target. How can i achieve this. i created the new infopackage but still i cant do that. any help is really appreciated

Thanks for everyone for giving informative replies. I am loading the data into two different targets with one infosource. we have some different routines for both the cubes in update rules. So we require different data in two different targets. As suggested in the discussion, i can delete the init request and do it again for second target but if i do that how can i do the delta for first target.
In case if i delete the init request and do the init update for the <b>second target</b>, then when i want to do the delta for the <b>first target</b> will i face any problem.

How to repeat the last 2 request via delta?

I have loaded data into a DSO from R/3. After that I loaded further into an other DSO, but it was inconsistent and it could not have activated it. So the last 2 Request in the 2. DSO were bad, I set the request to "red", deleted them, and now I want to reload them again (from the change log table of the first DSO). When I make a delta repeat, the system loads only the last one request.
What should I do?

in such cases I do the following:
1. delete all requests you want to reload in the second DSO
2. reset the datamart status in the first DSO for the latest request by clicking on the "where used" button at the end of the line
3. reset the datamart status in the first DSO for the older request in the same way.
if there are more requests you have to do this for each request you want to reload. Attention: if there are requests which were activated together so they have the same activation request number (collum "PSA request number generated when request is activated") the datamart status will be reset for these requests in one step.
4. press the refresh button and check if the datamart status is reset for all requests you want to repeat.
5. load delta from first to second DSO. This delta will contain each request which is not marked with to "where used" icon. You can check this for your DTP in the monitor under header -> selections. There should be both requids (if you're usind old update rules you can check it also in RSMO under details -> databasis)

Init request not getting loaded

I am running two loads to 0PUR_C01 from 2LIS_02_ITM and 2LIS_02_SCL. I was able to run the init with data transfer but when I am running the 2LIS_02_ITM init load , i am getting this message

Hi Karun,
I guess there is already init load done by 2LIS_02_ITM. Make sure that your old init load is deleted before going for fresh init load.
It can deleted from Infopackge -> Schedular(Menu) -> Init Option for Source system.
Select the init load request and click on delete.
And then try doing init load. Hope it will work.

Data request deletion problem from remote system.

Hi experts.
Now i am facing one critical problem . The description is as following:
we design the edw level in one phsical BW machine(A) which contains only dso infoprovider. This machine(A) works as datasource to provide data to another physical BW machine(B).
The dso in A system is exported as datasource , Cubes in B system load data through this datasource .
We first do the initialization with data contained on B system and then load delta data from A system. But if we want to delete some request in system A ,the system indicate this request can not be deleted unless the initialization in system B is deleted( this will lead to all the data missing in system B).
Can anyone explain this mechanism to me , please help me suggesting some kind of methods to delete the request in system A without deleting the initialization information in system B.

1. Ask your Basis to look into it.
2. try analyse your Baqckground Process in SM51.
3. Is your Deletion Job started immediately or any Delay?
4. If That cube or ODS has only this request which you are deleting, go with Context Menu Cube or ODS (by right click) --> Delete Contents.
Delete Contents will improve performence compare to Request Deletion..
If you have request more than this, you should not go for this.

Error in PSA Request deletion

Hey all,
how are you!
I have a little glitch in my Processchain and since I can not seem to find an answer myself I was wondering if any of you might give me some feedback
In a processchain I created, I wanted to delete the PSA-table contents and I added this process called "Deletion of requests from PSA".
But whenever I check my daily run, I have to get back (due to its "red" nature) and do manually 'rightclick>repeat' and then all seems well.
The 'red' condition upon monitoring gives me the message "no sub-request for this request"...
well...anyone?

It is a transactional load from an R/3 ODS.
In the processchain first we load an ODS and then we start with a request-deletion on the PSA.
Options:
- older then...zero days
the others are not used.
Nothing fancy

WQL Query for Last Policy Request

I'm trying to create a collection based on workstations whose last policy request was more than 30 days ago and I'm having trouble with the query statement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can query v_CH_ClientSummary to get last policy request and join
v_r_system in order to get the comuter name.
That SQL and cannot be used for building a collection ...
