Latest image doesnt show - tethered capture

Hi,
I'm having an issue using LR4 where when shooting in tethered capture mode the previewed image wont advance to the photo you have just taken.
The file is there, but you have to manually advance to it.
It was previously doing this, however wont anymore. Hopefully this is something simple i am missing. But it is very frustrating and difficult to work with as it stands!

From the docs for initWithTitle:image:tag:
The images displayed on the tab bar are derived from this image. If this image is too large to fit on the tab bar, it is scaled to fit. The size of an tab bar image is typically 30 x 30 points. The alpha values in the source image are used to create the unselected and selected images—opaque values are ignored.
I'd guess that the image you are using is all opaque. Look at the tab bar images with the TheElements example app. You will see there is no real color, just alpha.

10.5.8 is Leopard, not Snow Leopard. You need the Snow Leopard DVD;

its nothing to do with itunes, its movies form the internet. i got the file preview by taking an image off the internet, pressing command c and pasting it on top of the small icon in the get info section

Captured images not showing in gallery Nokia N8

I have 2 identical Nokia N8.
I have changed nothing on either in terms of programs/ applications/ etc.
When I took a photo, image would appear in both:
- Gallery (1st page)
- Captured (2nd page)
Suddenly, on one phone only the photo is only appearing in the Captured images.
Images are saved onto F. Memory card. I have tried ejecting & reinserting the memory card. I get "refreshing your media", but the items are still only showing in "Captured".
When I sync photos with my pc the captured images are synced correctly.
It is just annoying that I cannot access the Gallery immediately anymore.
I do appreciate any tips.

If changing the SDHC does not help, that would point towards corruption on the C or E drive - which the software recovery tool should have solved. Since you have presumably backed up everything already and the N8 is in a risk-willing state, I suggest safe eject the SDHC from the Files app and then physically remove the memory card from the phone. Now in the Files app format the E drive on the phone (Notice that you lose off-line maps and apps installed on E) Then in the Camera app reset to defaults. Try and snap some photos and see how it goes without the memory card?
Another run of the software recovery tool without the memory card inserted may also be useful. So may a fresh format of the memory card, to avoid something strange being inherited from the hidden folders and files on the memory card.
All the above is just off the top of my head. I have never experienced this particular error on my N8 (knock on wood!) - My N8 has lost the notification LED functionality on the button and the small charge indicator LED a year ago. The rest of the phone does what it is supposed to do, and there are no obvious mechanical issues inside after a clean-up, so I decided to ignore it.
The xenon trouble is either the "bulb" itself failing or the array of spring connectors from the motherboard failing.
An N8 is built like a tank. Teardown instructions are found elsewhere. Whatever you decide, do not spend too much money on it. A second-hand N8 in fair condition is worth €50-80 in Denmark, perhaps even less now that Skype and the social app stopped working, and some of the root certificates expired. It still wakes me up in the morning every day - a simple task that the Lumia failed several times.

If you have mini-bridge disexpanded in photoshop then expand it, then they should load.

Conversation doesnt show the latest message but an old one.

Each time i click on a conversation in Mail, it doesnt show the latest message, but on old one. Changing the settings to 'place latest message on top' (sorry don't know exactly how they have translated this, I am running Dutch version) does not fix this.

So each time i click on a conversation, i have to scroll to the top to see the latest message. This is very irritating. I already answered several old messages. People think i am getting ********...
I am using Mail in classic view! Changing it to the new view, doesnt fix it either.

If you are having an issue with your iPhone only showing the most recent message of a conversation in the Messages application, and you have already tried restarting and resetting the iPhone, the next thing to try would be to back up any data on the iPhone, erase it and set it up as a new device. Convert to .DNG at Tethered Capture?

Is it possible that Lightroom V5 can convert to DNG upon ingest of tethered capture images? In other words, when I'm tether shooting, can the image I capture show up in the Library already converted as a .DNG? This would be optimal for my workflow, rather than have to export my native camera raw file as .DNG after the session is completed. Would love to know if this can be accomplished.

Tethered capture in L R 5

Tethered capture has got to buggy again. I am shooting with the Nikon D 800e. It times out, so I have to turn the camera off and then on again, and sometimes tethered capture just quits.
Also another note, I find it disconcerting that the crop tool still doesn't show image size. It's also disconcerting because I am teaching, that I can't open an image in elements 11 from LR5

No but you can configure the length of time before the Nikon goes into 'power saver' or whatever they call it. This is the number one reason Tether disconnects and won't reenable. Look at your manual and set the user-configurable time to a large number like 30 minutes and see if your connection becomes more robust. Of course, if you go into stand-by (or whatever Nikon calls it) it is hard to reestablish connection.
As far as Crop, what you wish is not what I am asking. Did you select cropped dimensions as one of your six user fields in View Options? Did you try activating the [ I ] Key to see it?

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your iPhone.
The article below will provide some troubleshooting steps for this issue:
iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 15 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged. Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.

Tethered Capture stopped working –"No Camera Detected"

Windows 7 (64bit)
Lightroom 3.3
Canon 7D – Latest firmware 1.2.3
Yesterday I had Tethered Capture working a treat. No problems at all.
Today I have attempted to use it – exactly the same set up as yesterday and Lightroom refuses to see the camera – it just says “No Camera Detected” in the Tethered Capture pop-up.
Windows can see the camera, and shows the CF card content in Windows Explorer. The Canon utility can see the camera. Even Lightroom can see the camera and can import from the CF card in the camera.
Whenever the USB cable is connected, if I look through the viewfinder and press the shutter a flashing busy light comes up, and no photo is taken. Makes me wonder what the camera is doing? Is it perhaps looking for an application on the PC to talk to?
Yesterday it was running fine with the USB cable plugged into a hub, I tried with it connected directly to the PC but it didn’t help.
I even tried removing power from the PC and restarting Windows – that usually fixes anything :-)
I have Googled and searched these forums but have found nothing that helps.
Is this an Adobe problem, a Canon problem – or am I doing something daft?
Anyone any thoughts?

OK - so today I bring the camera and tripod back to the PC today, and hey presto - is all starts working again.
The PC had not even been restarted since it wasn't working yesterday.
Anyone got any ideas why it might not have been working yesterday?

Wrong Orientation while doing tethered capture!!!

I am doing tethered capture with D800 and 50mm lens. first i had 105 macro lense and everything was ok, but as soon as i changed to 50mm tethered capture shows images in wrong orientation ... I have to finish this project so please help me on this. Thank you

Spry Bug? Background Colors/Images not showing in IE6/XpP

I'm trying to wrap up my site for MiniMAX SE7EN (Cheap plug,
it's on 6/26 in DC) and I've got a Spry Accordion Component I used
in Dreamweaver CS3 to display all the speakers and then I switched
the CSS file to allow for different colors and a background image
to show through. Seems fine in Firefox and IE7 but in IE6 for PC's,
it appears black and only black. Is this a Spry bug or something I
screwed up with regarding the CSS?

I am having the same problems in IE7. I'm using the latest
version of everything (Spry 1.6.1 and javascript file version 0.12)
and at first I was having the problem on my drop down menus
appearing horizontal with all the correct styles but when I changed
the rule ul.MenuBarHorizontal ul to position: relative; the drop
downs appear vertical now but I have no beige border around the
whole ul anymore and I'm getting white space inbetween list items.
