Latest version of LELA (3.11.9139.94) requires updates over and over
After I installed LELA, it told me that "New software upgrade available". So I clicked on it, downloaded the file and installed it. When it finished installing, guess what, it told me that "New software upgrade available". I figured something went wrong so tried again, and guest what... Anyways, I've confirmed that I have the latest version (3.11.9139.94), but it continually tells me that a new version is available. It's starting to get quite annoying as it pops up all the time. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Sure, it isn't necessarilly needed, but it does provide some functionality that I like. The easy to use map lets u see who's on your network, allowing you to manage security through a gui rather than searching through the logs. Deleting the program isn't really a solution, more like giving up.

What version of iTunes do you have installed? If you are trying to update to iOS 6 you need iTunes 10.7 or later.

According to what I've read in this forum, the lastest version of LELA (as of this writing) is 3.1.8347.79.
I purchased a WRT54G2 router yesterday and installed LELA. When I check the version number, I get 3.0.8122.29, which is obviously not the latest version available. But when I use the"Check for Updates" option in the program, I get the message "No updates are available at this time."
I'm suffering from the "gray bars and red-circle-with-slash" problem with LELA's icon in the System Tray, and I've read that updating to the latest version of LELA might help. However, I don't know of a way to get that latest version, since the software isn't cooperating.
1. Anyone know why "Check for Updates" doesn't work for me?
2. Is there a way to download the latest version of LELA from the Linksys Web site without going through the program's "Check for Updates" option? I've searched the Linksys Web site fairly thoroughly, and can't find any links for downloading an updated copy of the software.

I have downloaded and installed the latest version of numbers on my mac. Everytime I save and then try to reopen that document, I receive a message telling me that I need a new version of numbers. Also, when I try to sort the date column, it sorts out of order. The last version sorted fine.
Welcome to Apple Support Communities
When you install the new iWork version, the old iWork version is kept, so it looks like you are opening your old version.
To fix this, open a Finder window, choose Applications in the sidebar and drag the new Numbers version to the Dock, so you can access to it quickly. Open all documents from this version. I don't recommend you to delete the old Numbers version in case you need it.

Hi, I've an iPad Mini with the latest version 6.0.2, a windows 7 Home Premium laptop and iTunes 11.0.1 (12), but I can't synchronize my music or videos with it. I managed to syncronize my books but thats all.
I also have an iphone 5 and everything seems to work fine with it.
I see all movies and music available to be sync but when I click on the sync button, the process starts, the bottom bar shows an increase in consumed space then nothing happens and the bar goes back as nothing was added.

My Iphone 4 crahsed a few months ago when I tried to update and i have used Itunes already and it updated to the latest version of itunes but it says there is an erro and cannot be restored, I'm not sure why it is saying that, can I get some help?

good day. as I can do to update my iphone 4 to the latest version of ios 5. whenever you connect to the pc and try to update the waiting time is very long, sometimes up to 12 hours and despite the wait always produce an error message for a long time waiting
Disable ALL security software (firewall, antivirus/spyware, etc.) running on your PC while updating.

It is a Mac port of a newer version of FF thatn any PowerPC Mac can support natively. It runs, looks and feel like FF.

While looking to upgrade to a newer MBP, found out latest version of iTunes does not support wired syncing of iCal and contacts. Syncing of these must be done through iCloud. This is a deal breaker for me for several reasons. Are there any workarounds or do I have to go back to a PC with my tail tucked between my legs?
When you say wired syncing, are you meaning between an iphone and your mac?

I am transfering i-tunes 10.5 to a new pc. The new pc will have the latest version of i-tunes. Jason said to update the old file befor the transfer. But is it possinble to transfer my library without the update on the old pc?
Not a problem. You can migrate an iTunes library from any older version of iTunes into a computer running a newer version of iTunes. You don't need to try to update the old computer before making the move.

I tried to download the latest version of iTunes but failed half way through. It suggested that i reinstall we I tried. However, i now get this message which states "Application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem"
I have tried this but with no success. I have therefore found that I cannot access my iTunes library at all now.
What should I do.Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

There is an option called "browser.link.open_newwindow" which when set to 2 should open links, that would normally open in a new window, in a new window.

I can't think of an add-on that will do this for you.
You can always right click on the link and choose "Open Link in new Window" :-).
