Layer(s) not showing up on top of background, only in layers panel...

Hello All, Any help here would be great....briefly, PSE worked just great before, I'm on my newer MacBook Air, well within system requirements for PSE. Maverick OS. Started working with PSE and when I tried to "stamp" a brush shape (whether default brushes or otherwise), the program does something it had never done before....SEE ATTACHED. I will create a new layer to use my brush, but when I try to "stamp" it onto background, the program then creates a layer mask where I can see the brush shape AND a new layer, however ALL that shows up on the background is the icon you can see in my screen grab I am attaching here. What is this icon? (The teeny one middle right of image, black square, outlined in red, with two red circles in the middle) I called Apple, we did a few things, they said it wasn't on there end. I reset my tools, I uninstalled, reinstalled, to no avail. Last night, I called Adobe, spent 48 minutes on the phone with a guy only to be told that he wasn't "trained" in how to fix this issue and his superior would call me back within an hour. Never got that phone call, so I'm hoping (praying, begging) someone out there will have an idea of WHAT this icon is, as well as how to fix this issue. Again, I've reset all tools, the "eye" icon on layers panel shows it should be visible, I've tried layers-->merge visible, I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and called adobe newbie who didn't know even what the icon meant. Any takers?!?! See below.....

Because the mask image is the same as the background, the leaves you are painting are essentially the the identical pixels to those underneath. Fill the top layer image with a solid colour and your leaves will show.
You can right-click the little red box to get to a settings dialog.

Master Page elements not showing up on top...

I'm newer to ID and the industry in general...with no prior experience. Running CS6 on Windows 8.1. I have existing documents that were shared with me where the master page elements always appear on top, meaning on top of pages or items placed in a document. Those items are surrounded by a red dotted line, and I cannot edit those in any way, shape or form. I am working in a new document and all my master page elements have a blue dotted line and do not show up on top of anything no matter what I do and the option to Arrange isn't there. I know I must be missing a really simple step, but in all of the videos and tutorials I've read and watched, this has never been addressed. What am I missing? See images below (added the green box to show an item on the page showing up on top of the master page stuff.) Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

The color is derived from the color code for the layer. You’ll need to go to the master page to edit the items.

How come the song and album does not show up on top of the new iTunes?

I just downloaded the new iTunes and when I go to play a song, the title and album does not show up on the top of the screen. The only thing that is there is the Apple logo. Does anyone know why this is? and how can I get it to show the song title and album.
The song is playing right now, but it is not showing up where it used to. (Where the Apple logo is)

I successfully signed up for cellular plan, however "4G" not showing up in top left corner nor can I get it to connect. Settings say connected successfully. Help.

Settings says 4g Cell plan successful. "4g" not showing in top left corner. Can't connect.

4g and LTE are available in limited areas in the US. Otherwise you will be on 3G.

New purchases in itunes are not showing up in the songs list only in new purchases

I have the latest version of Itunes and my last purchases do not show up in the songs view of my library, only in the purchased songlist. This has never happened before, so I'm guessing something is wrong with this new version. Anybody else having this problem?

Apple are not here just us users.
Some people have reported that logging out ot the itunes store and logging in clears things
Other people who use itunes Match have reported Store > Update iTunes Match works
I agree it seems to be a bug but to let apple know about it you need to use the feedback in itunes

Hi I am using iphone5 I will try to connection to Bluetooth but my phone was only searching it's not showing any devices pair

The iPhone and the iPad Air will only connect for the purpose of you using the tethering of the iPhone, nothing else. Even if you use the device with other devices as you describe the iPhone 4, it still has to be paired to the iPhone 5, it is not automatic because it is paired with another iPhone. Check the user guide for the bluetooth device you are trying to pair with the iPhone 5, unless it is the iPhone 4 or the iPad Air, and put the device into discovery/pairing mode. Then the iPhone 5 should see the device.
I would provide a little more support, but you do not say what the Bluetooth device is that you are trying to pair. I'm thinking there might be a little language barrier as it does not appear that English is your first language, so I want to make sure we are understanding each other.

Hp 15-r033tx laptop does not show the Nvidia chipset information and only uses Intel HD graphics

My Hp 15 r033tx laptop has windows 8 64 bit installed in it and as it comes with NVidia Ge Force 820 M 2GB graphics card , I have also installed Nvidia and Intel HD Graphic Drivers but in the dxdiag selection it does not list the Nvidia Chipset and information but only lists Intel HD Graphics with 1786 MB.
Also it does not show any Dedicated Video Ram that is normally showing in my other friends desktop with Nvidia Graphics properly installed
Any solutions?

I see that you have Windows 8 installed and are not seeing your switchable graphics.
When I checked the specification page I see it came with Free Dos. When I checked for support drivers they are listed for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.

New feature of ios8 recent calls and message contacts do not show up across top pf screen. What should I do?

Iphone 5s update ios8 new feature is recent contacts from texts and calls "multitasking" show up in circle at top pf home screen. I don not have this feature. Why? what should I do? There is limited information on the ios8 features on web site. Can anyone help? I have tried checking my settings for problems. Can't find similar problems on support forum. What is next?

Video on background layer is not showing up behind motion graphic.

Hello Premiere experts,
I'm using Premiere 6 on Windows machine and in the last few days I created a motion graphic that has an alpha channel for background transparency and it is placed on video track 2 and it works when I put a static image underneath it... that is, it shows the background image behind my motion graphic properly in the preview and the rendered video.
But now I've put in an AVI video file behind my motion graphic, and I've tried putting this AVI file on video track 1A and 1B and rendering my movie, but I'm only getting my moving motion graphic on a black background in the preview and the rendered movie... no video from my video track 1A nor 1B is showing up in the background of my motion graphic... but when I put a static image, like a JPEG or a PSD behind my motion graphic, that does show up in the preview and in the final rendered movie.
Shouldn't video be able to be seen behind a motion graphic?

My motion graphic creation has been successfull, like I said, when I place a static JPEG or PSD behind it... in that case, it shows my moving graphic and the still background image behind it, with successful transparency.

The workflow is...
1) Import File: Bring in the graphic intended for motion - a PSD with a straight Alpha Channel for the graphic clip to be outlined for transparency... appears in the Project palette.
2) Move that PSD graphic from the Project palette to the Video 2 slot in the Timeline... click to active that graphic in the Timeline... shows "crawling ants" around perimeter.
3) Drag that graphic from the Video 2 slot in the Timeline palette to the Effects Control Palette... Motion Setup and Transparency Setup choices now appear in Effects Control palette for that graphic clip intended for motion.
4) Create motion path in Motion Settings dialog box, select "Alpha: Use Clip's" and save settings... click OK and close dialog box.
5) Select "Keytype: Alpha Channel" in Transparency Settings Dialog box... click OK and close dialog box.
6) Import File: Bring in the AVI video intended for the background of the motion graphic - an AVI file that plays properly in Windows Media Player and IrfanView that was converted from a created WMV file to AVI format... AVI video file appears in the Project palette.
7) Drag that AVI video clip to the Video 1A (or Video 1B) slot in the Timeline.
8) Save the Project.
9) Click enter for previewing and/or "Export Clip>Movie" to render movie.
10) I just get an AVI file exported from Premiere 6 that is my moving motion graphic on a black backgroundl... showing NO video background as intended.
As I said, when I'm using a still, static image as the background for my successful motion graphic, I get my motion graphic moving on the intended background... this is only a problem showing and rendering the motion graphic on top of the AVI video background.
PS: I found that I need to double log-in each time I come to this forum now... logging in first from the "Sign In" link at the top right corner of the forums page, then it says I'm logged in, but will not give me the reply and actions options... then I finally figured out after multiple tries that I now need to additionally click the "Login/Register" link near the top of the page on the left... this has changed in the last few day. I'm still not able to recieve email alerts of forum replies in spite of all three email alert pages being set to "YES" and "RECEIVE".
Careful examination of my information above should make my workflow and prior actions clear.

System icons('docklets'?) Not showing anymore in top right corner.

Hi, this is my first time here, so I'm really sorry if this belongs somewhere else.
I got my first mac about 2 months ago and it has been running fine until abouta week ago the system icons stopped showing up in the top right hand corner. I can still see himmelbar and my printer icon there, but the Bluetooth, airport, time, spotlight, and fast user switching are all gone on all accounts.
Around the same time I have encountered that the system is sygnificantly less stable than it was before. I can consistantly crash the system prefrences by clicking on the mouse and keyboard settings, and there are other little things that cause programs to crash now.
I have tried repairing permisions already, and I have checked the disk for errors. Everything is fine in those two areas and I am truely at a loss to understand what is causing this.
If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. I'd rather not re-install OSX but I will if I have to.

They change colors when the background bar changes to enhance readability.
If you go to Settings > General > Accessibility and turn White on Black ON, the symbols will be black on a white bar for the home and some app screens and orange and purple on a black bar for other screens.

Records does not show up for TOP N

hello...i have a variable with a TOP 4 condition in the query, when i run the report with the selection of date input with the variable range of 1 year, i cannot view the data for that report, i checked the cube that there are data in the cube, but when i execute the report, the portal sayin that there are no "characteristic calendar/year month has no master data for "200701", "200702"....
i checked the data and everything is okay...is just that the data won't be diplayed out. any idea???

Just check whether is there any other Condition defined with your required Condition?
2nd Check : Check whether your required condition is defined properly or not i.e. on your required characteristic or all the characteristic.

Video Layer will not show up

I am working on a HD 30 min show (1920x1080) with FCP 6. We have incorporated some Photoshop and After Effects graphics. When I plug them into the time line and render the effects the graphics will not appear either on my computer monitor nor my TV monitor. When I move the graphics to un-render them, they show up again but then of course I can't play them. Audio plays fine as does the video underneath the graphics.I am guessing it's just a hardware thing, but the system is brand new and I am still new to FCP. And advice or suggestions would be great, thanks.

Never mind!! XD I just updated my laptop and there was an update for Lion. Now I don't have issues with viewing. The two websites that I was struggling with was, EWTN live TV stream and WGN news live stream. Now both are okay!!

Text not showing up on top of Quicktimes

I am trying to place text and objects on top of a Quicktime, using bring to front. Everything looks correct within iweb, but once I publish the page, the Quicktime is on top. I have tried both inline and fixed variations.
any thoughts?
