Layering JDBC themes on an SVG without redrawing image

Is there a way via Javascript or other means to add dynamic JDBC themes to an SVG, within a JSP, without having to refresh/redraw the page and subsequent SVG everytime? Thank you in advance...

The only way to get Firefox to offer to save the SVG image would be to force a content type that Firefox doesn't recognize as supported natively.

Hi all,
I have already set up MapViewer version 10.1.3.3 on BISE1 10g OC4J server. I am current using JDK 1.6. I create a mvdemo/mvdemo user for demo data.
The MapViewer demo is running fine with some demo without CHART. But give this error with some maps that have CHART like: "Dynamic theme, BI data and Pie chart style", "Dynamic theme and dynamic Bar chart style". The error is:

I searched many threads on this forum, some point me to have this allow_jdbc_theme_based_foi="true" in mapViewerConfig.xml and restart MapViewer.

Oop, i managed to have this prob resolved!
My prob may come from this I use both scott and mvdemo schema for keeping demo data (import demo data).
Steps i made to resolve my prob are:
1) Undeploy MapViewer from Application Server Control (http://localhost:9704/em in my case)
2) Drop user mvdemo
3) Download mapviewer kit from Oracle Fusion Middleware MapViewer & Map Builder Version 11.1.1.2
4) Deploy MapViewer again
5) Recreate mvdemo and import demo data
6) Run mcsdefinition.sql, mvdemo.sql with mvdemo user (granted dba already)
7) Edit mapViewerConfig.xml

Problem Joining JDBC theme to XML NSDP file

I've created a basic map of Germany with different layers for regions etc. I've then added a dynamic JDBC theme using the following code

The problem is that when I click on the Berlin FOI on the map I get a pop up box that contains only the name of the city and not the Revenue Column which was defined in the XML sample.
I think that the setNSDP method must be failing but I'm not sure how to debug this. I've read many different tutorials and I'm sure that I ahve followed them correctly but if anyone could provide any info that may help me debug or fix this problem then that would be much appreciated

Advanced Styles with JDBC Themes

I am trying to use the Java API to add a JDBC theme to a map request (no problem we have been doing this for some time). However, I now want to apply a predefined Advanced style to that theme but am struggling to do so. If I predefine a theme and use the predefined advanced style them it works fine. When I user the .addJDBCTheme call with the advanced style as the style parameter it does not work. I am guessing I have to use the setThemeRenderingRules to get this to work but the documentation is not great and I can't find any examples. Has anyone applied an advanced theme to JDBC layers and if so how did you do it, any help much appreciated.

Hi Chris,
when using a predefined theme the attribute column (or columns) to be used by the advanced style are defined on the theme definition.
For dynamic themes, you need to select the attribute on the dynamic SQL expression. On the following example, the column TOTPOP is used for the render style.

Purchases using one Apple ID cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID. Purchases are forever tied to that Apple ID used. You have to decide which Apple you want to use for purchases and stick to that Apple ID so that you can share: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID : > use the same Apple ID here to share purchases.

Willy, the procdedure you describe works perfectly for AppleTV G1. In fact, I frequently play DTS music discs ripped to my iTunes library as Apple Lossless (ALAC) and synched to the ATV. What happens is that, as far as iTunes and the ATV are concerned, a conventional stereo 16/44 audio file is being played; however my reciever detects the DTS data stream, and instead of outputting static, it decodes the 5.1 channels correctly. This process parallels the way DTS discs were designed to be played back: a conventional CD player is connceted, via digital out, to a DTS-aware reciever/pre-amp and the two channels of static are recognized as 6 channels of DTS-encoded audio.
However this process will only work if the player (CD, ATV, PC, etc.) sends a "bit-perfect" 16 bit/44.1 khz data stream to the decoding device. In the case of ATV G2 and G3, as has been discussed elsewhere, the unit resmaples all audio - including 16/44 PCM (Redbook CD) - to 16/48. While this is not a big deal for conventional audio CDs, MP3s, and AAC files, it mangles the fragile DTS datastream and renders it undecodable. The resulting static that you hear is just like the static you would hear if you played a DTS CD on a non-DTS capable system.
Sadly, I'm not aware of any easy way around this. You could use a program like Foobar (and the DTS plugin) to convert your DTS CDs to 6-ch .wav or .flac file. From there you could transcode the file to AC-3 and then mux it into a video container that ATV supports. You may need add a dummy video track, for iTunes/AppleTV to be ok with the file, though I'm not sure. This may be a lot of work.
Sorry for the bad news. I wish that the iTunes/ATV ecosystem had better multi-channel audio support.

Pictures on an iPod are stored in a special format, optimized for the iPod's small lower resolution screen, to save storage space. iTunes puts them into that format when syncing. There is setting in iTunes, on the iPod's Photos screen (where you set up syncing of photos) for Include full resolution photos. If that checkbox was checked when you synced the photos to the iPod, THEN you can Enable disk use and find those photo files on the iPod in the Photos folder.
Otherwise, you cannot get your photos back, using iTunes. There may be third-party utilities that can extract individual photos from the iPod, but they will still be lower-resolution versions of the original photo.

There are lots of ideas floating on the web for this particular issue - all of which I tried. I had the same problem and it turned out to be my USB cable. I thought the cable was fine as it would charge my phone and play but the data transfer pin was bent. I replaced the cable and it fixed the problem. Worth a shot as it is an easy fix!

Mapviewer map_request limitations for when using wms and jdbc themes?

Are there limitations to not use either the bounding_themes or the center option when a basemap requests both a jdbc and a wms theme? I would like to have the bounding_theme be the jdbc theme. I can see how this could pose challenges in that there would be a need to retrieve the jdbc theme and calc the mbr before issuing the wms requests w/ the correct bbox. Would be a nice feature though.

Do you have suggestions though for dealing w/ case where the jdbc theme returns one point? id like to use something like the border_margin to pad the point out to a box, but seems to always just return just the point. mkaes sense since multiplying 0 by anything is zero. we are planning on writing a servlet that instead uses sdo_buffer then construct the coordinates tag w/ the sdo_aggr_mbr. that should accommodate 1..n points returned.

I'm integrating Oracle Maps (10) in BISE, I've used Navtweq maps with my spatial data and I've created some maps, themes etc.
Now I'm trying to create some more complex JDBC themes.
Everything works fine if I use simple query, but I'm not able to create a theme whit more complex queries
for example I have 3 tables
m_admin_area2 (with geometric infos)
tab_supporto1 (a table with all the sales per day and region)
I want to know all the regions where my sales are incremented by 10% in a specified arch of time

Adding/Installing MXP Theme file to Eclipse (without AEM)
Recently downloaded Adobe Flex (FlashBuilder 4 plugin LS10) for Eclipse, and going through some Tutorials where they want me to install a Theme to learn Styles.
They want me to install MXP file, but I cannot find where to. Every place on the web assumes you haev Adobe Extension Manager(AEM) installed, so I went and installed that, but even with that, it doesn't seem to find the Flex install (under eclipse) so won't allow me to install the Theme.
So how does one go about installing/adding a MXP file to Eclipse without the full Flex distribution (though with all the searching and talking/waiting for tech support - which they then directed me here) it probably would have been quicker to install the full dist.
But I figure I can't be the only one who would ask this so hopefully my pain will help someone in the future.

There is no shortcut known to me to to prevent a file from being copied to the 'iTunes Music' folder.
To add a file to the library, without copying it to the 'iTunes Music' folder, uncheck 'Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library' in Preferences>Advanced>General.
In the subject of this topic you are referring to 'importing', but from the contents of this topic, I presume you're only talking about 'adding'.

BTW: If you 'import' files, the files are always copied to the 'iTunes Music folder location' as set in the preferences, regardless of the status (checked/unchecked) of the checkbox of the 'Copy files to etc.......' setting.

The way that I understand that it works, is that the photos are not copied into the new albums, instead it just points to the photos - the number of photos on the iPad in Settings > General > About doesn't increase when you create new album so I assume from that that it isn't copying the photo, just pointing to it. So if you delete the photo from the camera roll you will therefore also be deleting all the pointers to it
