Layout style

Hi all,
I have a question about layout style in form,
Is it possible to have for the same data-block some items displayed in form layout style and other items displayed in tabular layout style?
What i would like to have is that when user is on a record in tabular layout style, he would have the corresponding items for the form layout style, but it is the same data-block,
Thanks for your help and any idea would be appreciated.

when you create a layout as tabular form the property setted is number of records example 10
each item have a property too, then default is the same number of records displayed , if you can set 1 for number of items displayed on records
then for this item have one instance

  • Lightroom 3 Print Moduel Layout Style not working??

    Hi all,
    With no change in Lightroom, all of a sudden I have issues with the "picture package" and "custom package" settings within the layout styles in the print module.
    For instance, if you are in "single image/contact sheet" and you have an image selected and on screen, then when you change to either "picture package" or "custom package" what should happen is that the image is then refected in the new picture package present. This does not happen at all.
    I can not even choose a present (which should work), or drag an image onto the page. It seems that "picture package" and "custom package" are simply not working at all.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?
    computer 1 is an imac using 10.6.8, and computer 2 is a slightly older imac using 10.5.8
    PS. it is now happening on both our computers which are on a network??

    Good point.  I don't have the latest.  I'll give it a try and post back to the site.
    Thanks

  • Layout Style "tree-form" with Wizard Style Layout checked

    Dear all,
    I am using layout style "tree-form" with Wizard Style Layout check box checked. intention is to display the hierarchy in tree and insertion with the help of Wizard for the last block. But with above settings, generated form is displaying as blank.
    Example of required behavior: REGIONS should be displayed in Tree while the new Employees entry should be with the help of Wizard Style Layout.
    Thanks in advance for help.
    Muhammad Shafique

    Muhammed,
    This combination is not supported. But you can acvhieve what you want by creating a separate group to insert a new employee. This additional group should have form layout, wizard checkbox checked, and "Add Menu Entry" option unchecked.
    Then you can customize the New button in the existing tree-form employee group to navigate to the new employee wizard group.

  • What's the best way to achieve layout style?

    I'm fairly new at using Dreamweaver and I'd like to create a
    web page with a dark coloured background and have a
    rounded-rectangle layered on top (prefereably with a slight
    drop-shadow). Do I create one large rectangle graphic and put it in
    a layer? Or is there a better way to do it and keep the pages quite
    light on the graphics for better downloading of the pages?
    Many thanks for your help!
    Examples of the sort of style I mean:

    www.clovertelecom.co.uk
    www.beadesigngroup.com
    With a simple line is nice too:

    What is your skill level with HTML and CSS?
    If Design view skills only, spend some time learning HTML
    well enough to be
    able to work with tables in Standard mode.
    If Code view but no CSS, read the table tutorials at the DW
    FAQ link in my
    signature.
    If CSS then just use a page background color with a
    non-tiling centered
    background image for your masthead.
    And a suggestion? Forget all you ever knew about layers for
    the time
    being....

  • Print Module templates layouts do not update on the fly

    Print layouts do not update on the fly when attempting to choose between various Print Module>Template Browser> Lightroom or User templates. This occurs in all three Layout Styles. The very first layout chosen in Single Image/Contact Sheet, Picture Package, or Custom Package is the permanent 'default' and cannot be changed. The Preview will show as expected however any image stays stuck in the very first layout I chose after installing LR4 beta.
    For example, I first chose Template Browser>Lightroom Templates>Maximum Size, and Layout Style>Single Image/Contact Sheet. Clicking through any other Templates (Lightroom or User defined) will alter the preview but not the layout display in the Print window. Same problem in either of the other Layout styles. I have been trying for days to rectify this, but it seems somehow more difficult than LR3. and not what I expect.
    As a comparison, using the same steps in LR3 works perfectly as all print template/layouts can be changed on the fly as expected. I have no problems generating different layouts in LR3 and have been using LR print module since version 1 without this issue.
    Is this a bug or are there any extra steps or workarounds I have not discovered? Any other testers seen this?

    Update with more info. What am I doing wrong, if anything?
    Print layouts do not update on the fly when attempting to choose between various Print Module>Template Browser> Lightroom or User templates. This is not a hang since the layouts do not change after the initial choice no matter how much time elapsed.
    iMac OS 10.6.8. 8GB RAM.Processor Intel Core 2 Duo. NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS.
    The steps as follows:
    1) Lightroom 3.6 & LR4Beta exist side by side.
    2) LR4 Beta> Print Module;
    3) From filmstrip choose image;
    4) Template Browser> Lightroom4Beta Templates>Maximum Size;
    5) Preview displays as expected;
    6) Layout Styles>Single Image/Contact Sheets
    7) Template Browser> Lightroom4Beta Templates>click through any other templates (Lightroom or User defined);
    8) Image layout in main window does not update;
    9) Previews update;
    10) Layout Style>Picture Package;
    11) Template Browser>Maximum size is then automatically shown, however the template in the main window is actually (1) 7x5, (2) 2.5x3.5;
    12) Any further attempts to change the layouts regardless of Style Layout choices are not successful.
    13) Close LR4Beta>re-open LR4Beta;
    14) Repeat test;
    15) Print Module layouts do not update on the fly as expected;
    16) Close LR4Beta and all applications;
    17) Reboot iMac.
    18) Open LR4Beta only;
    19) LR4Beta>Print Module>Template Browser >Lightroom Templates>Maximum Size;
    20) Image displays in main layout window with Template and Preview display as expected;
    21) Choose different image>Template Browser>Lightroom Templates>Maximum Size;
    22) Click through templates, layouts DO NOT update in main window although previews do automatically update.
    23) CONCLUSION - In Lightroom 4 Beta>Print Module>Template Browser, image layouts do not change after initial choice as expected.
    I posted this on Photoshop.com as a problem.

  • Combining documents with multiple layouts into a single book for pdf export

    I have made a series of documents that feature 3 different layouts, however I would like to connect all these documents into a book and then export 1 layout style from each document into a pdf to form a book. However when I go to the export book as pdf the option to select pages or ranges is greyed out and not clickable for some reason, does anyone know of another way to get around this short of exporting each individual document layout and then merging them as a pdf?

    You need to set up the book to contain precisely what you want to export.
    However, it is basically better to export single documents and merging them later as PDF, regarding colour spaces, page numbering, paragraph styles, page formats etc.

  • CSS layout problems in Explorer (fine in Firefox and Safari)

    Firstly apologies to the mods, I had mistakenly posted this
    in the dynamic section also...
    My problem - I am working on a CSS site (my first!) here
    http://www.benfrain.com
    It appears fine in Firefox (PC and Mac) and Safari (mac) but
    when I view it in Explorer for Mac (5.2.3) I get a over long page
    and I get no auto margin on the left.
    Another small curiosity - I have noticed that my background
    image on my div id "header" seems to start off again on the right.
    Again, Explorer 5.2 for mac only...
    My html and css both validate.
    Anybody know why this is happening?

    Have you tried increasing the text size?
    Do you mean in the browser? I just tried it in Firefox and
    after two increases the layout/style of the page kind of 'falls
    apart' - how would this be rectified?

    I really do appreciate your efforts to help me solve this problem... Thank you in advance

    Height is determined by content.  I can't think of a single reason to have a div height of 5px because almost nothing will fit inside that small a space without problems.
    As to why it doesn't show up in other devices, you must have put that style into the Tablet CSS code instead of the default Mobile CSS code.
    Fluid Grids build up from Mobile (applied to everything) with specific rules for Tablets, then Desktops.
    Best advice, use Fluid Grids for layout only.  Use a separate CSS file for content styles.
    Hope this helps,
    Nancy O.

  • Margins, Padding, no effect in "multiple columns" Fluid Grid Layout

    Mac Pro
    Adobe DW CS6
    Testing URL:  http://0343be5.netsolhost.com/satgraphics_02/index.html
    First time using multiple columns in fluid grid layout----------------------------------------
    <style>
    .newspaper
              column-count: 2;
              column-gap: normal;
              column-rule: 2px outset #000000;
              /* Firefox */
              -moz-column-count: 2;
              -moz-column-gap: normal;
              -moz-column-rule: 2px outset #000000;
              /* Safari and Chrome */
              -webkit-column-count: 2;
              -webkit-column-gap: normal;
              -webkit-column-rule: 2px outset #000000;
    Text goes to border of container, and I've run out of ideas on margins and padding options on not only the .newspaper <style> but using its container, LayOutDiv1. All appears good in "Live" view, text easily readable, but Safari, FireFox, Opera ignores css. When viewed with padding/margins input, it just shifts the div to right, outside grid.
    Indent first line in paragraph works well, wrapping image properly, and column flow smooth.
    Set padding in p,h2, h3 at 10px but no results visable. (Retset to "0" padding.)
    On laptop PC…can't seem to access live testing URL so unsure of IE 10 operational functionality.
    Thank You...

    Testing URL:  http://0343be5.netsolhost.com/satgraphics_02/index.htmlYes, very helpful in furthering my overall understanding; however, I remain perplexed at being unable to keep div#column.newspaper from moving to right, thus negating the padding and text abuts right margin viewed in browsers.
    (Appearance when viewing in "layout backgrounds' shows equal padding shift to right to edge of div.gridContainer.clearfix box.)
    Base problem is that the borders on outside of layoutDiv1 (or the column itself) continues to be pusher right, thus misaligning outside borders of three seperate divs; header, menu, and LayoutDiv1.
    Am i missing something in how to contain without borders (full width) being overrun. Or, maybe improper insertion of padding rules?

  • Fluid grid layout lost when closing and reopening Dreamweaver

    I am working on fluid grid layout in dreamweaver cc. I created a new dreamweaver site, created a fluid grid layout page and everything looked and worked as it should. I closed out of dreamweaver and when I reopened it, I could no longer see the fluid grid layout or the fluid grid handles on any of the divs. I also no longer had the little button in the toolbar next to the live button either, to toggle the fluid layout on and off.   I did not move the css or js from where dreamweaver originally stored them.
    Also checked the content and code of my files, everything looks as it should:
    The fluid grid layout style sheet IS attached to the page.
    The Fluid Grid Properties near the top of the style sheet ARE still there.
    I have tried several test sites and as soon as I close DW and reopen it, the fluid grid layout button is gone, as is are the visual aids.  I uninstalled and reinstalled dreamweaver to no avail.
    Very frustrating!
    ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi,
    Thank you for all the responses.  When I was doing the testing, I didn't touch any of the style sheets.  I just created a new site, created a new FGL page, saved everything, then closed out.  When I reopened, the FGL elements were not there.  So in taking Ken's suggestion, I was getting ready to upload the files to see if anyone could see what I was doing wrong.  I had named the file test.html so I did a 'save as', to save it as index.html to make it easier.  Then a strange thing happened.  The new 'index.html' page came in with the FGL elements!  When I looked at the test.html, they still were not there.  In doing additional testing, when I open the first file, whether test.html or index.html, no FGL functions are available, when I open the second one, again no matter whether test.html or index.html, they are.  Getting ready to throw my hands up...  I uploaded everything to:
    http://www.ComputerSecurity.com/fgltest/
    Directly under there is the css file called fgltest.css, along with the boilerplate.css, respond.min.js, index,html, and test.html.
    Don't know what is going on. I am new to fluid grid layouts, but not to dreamweaver, have been using it for years.  Unless someone can see something that I cannot, seems like the only way I can create a Fluid grid layout based on this new information, is to open one page and work on another...

  • Tree Layout  and a Where Clause

    I have built a uix application using Jdev (10.1.2) + Jheadstart (10.1.2). I followed Jheadstart for ADF developer’s guide (10.1.2) for creating a page with a recursive tree, tree layout style and it works well. Now I need to apply a where clause, programmatically, on the view I am using for generating the tree and the problem is that the where clause 'gets lost' on the child view before the page is displayed. How do I fix this?

    And the page_id_1 is a field in the table (SORRY EXAMPLE BAD NAMING CONVENTIONS) that IS VARCHAR

    Carefully examine the query, expecially the INSTR line. Get the values in both the column and the bind variable and make sure they are what you think they are.
    The example on the other post might have failed because you were equality comparing the column value to '28' when it might have been a csv with commas unless you changed it (something worth trying).
    On 4th look I may (or may not) have something. PAGE_ID_1 is a VARCHAR2, while the 28 you compared it to was a number. Its a long shot, but maybe SQL is trying to convert the csv field to a number, failing to raise an error message where you can find it, and failing for that reason. Try using '28' on the equality test.

  • Complex layout and images on webdynpro

    Hello:
    I've been using webDynpro for some apps, and I couldn't help noticing how "hars" the final GUI is... is there a way that I can import an HTML file and start importing eviews from there?
    You know websites usually start in photoshop, I create the layout, images, branding there and then export as -> html and images so I get a really cool layout (designers point of view)
    Then I'd go to dreamweaver and insert all php jsp and programmatic stuff... I'd like to import the htmls into webdynpro instead of dreamweaver, is that possible? if not, how can I embed things like flash, javascript, etc?
    Thanks!

  • Forms builder layout questions

    Hi guys
    I have three questions on forms builder:
    1. Is there a way to evenly space records? I see all the allign features but not arrange evenly. It really takes a lot of time to space 10 fields evenly vertically
    2. Is it possible to have a fram with an auto tabular layout that is vertical instead of horizontal? What's the use of being able to adjust the block but the form is always vertical when you use tabular format?
    3. Is there a way to have the layout autogenerate again? I can see it works when I move a frame in a simple canvas, but I use the same datablock across multiple tabs. If I assign the block in the frame, then it will autoload all items into my single tab.
    Thanks for any assistence.
    I guess what I'm suferring with is the 'old school' forms developer. I'm on 6i. Is there any better layout features in later releases? Maybe any other tools to generate a form? (I'm pushing my luck now :-) )
    Regards

    Hi Andreas
    Ok I found the menu now: Arrange-> Allign objects. And then there's DISTRIBUTE for both vertical and horizontal.
    Ok, that will save me a lot of effort :-) Thanks!
    Question 2:
    - I have my Data Block's Record Orientation set to Horizontal. But the Frame completely ignores it. The Frame's Layout style is Tabular. So when I UPDATE LAYOUT to auto-layout my page there is no different if I toggle the Record orientation between horizontal and vertical.
    Question 3: Ok, it seems like UPDATE LAYOUT will autogenerate the layout only if you have the frame linked to a datablock. My problem is this: I have 3 tabs (too many fields for a singe tab). I'm still deciding which fields should go to wich tab. Every time I add an item to a new tab, I have to manually position it within that tab. I cannot make they program quickly auto-layout the tab with the additional item.
    Missing features:
    I'm missing a few hotkeys. Don't like using the mouse so much :-)

  • How to add Line hight in sap.ui.layout.form.Form ?

    Hi,
    i am using the sap.ui.layout.form.Form and sap.ui.layout.form.ResponsiveLayout as layout. And i gave line height from CSS using 'line-height' style, it is working good in Chrome but coming to the IE, the text  in all buttons are looking like below .
    If we increase the height it is showing the text, but i don't want to increase the button height.
    Is there any way i can do this using any layout styles, i am m=not able to find any 'line-height' kind of properties in the Form of ResponsiveLayout .
    Thank you,

    Hi Shashank,
         Add this class in CSS and change the values as required.
    .sapUiBtnS {
    padding: 4px 58px 19px;
    height: 22px;
    font-size: 12px;

  • Region - Display only on form layout page

    Hi,
    1) I have defined regions on table-form layout style. How ever I want the regions to be displayed only on the Form layout and not on the table layout page that has the search functionality. Is there a way to hide the regions on the search page?
    2) Also for display type "textinput" (read-only), eventhough I checked the "Column wrap?" checkbox, the text still spans across the page and not wrapping.
    Please help!
    Thanks.

    Regions enclose items. You can set the Display in Form Layout, Display in Table Layout and Include in Advanced Search properties on the items within the regions, but you are probably asking how to also hide the region title and line for items that are not displayed on the table/search page.
    Although there may be a better way to handle this, we've created a custom template for the Regions node under the group. The template is attached to the VERTICAL_REGION_CONTAINER template on that node. The template has code that turns off generation of the region if the region name is a certain string,
    We copied the current verticalRegionContainer.vm and added conditional code to the top of it like this:
    #if (((($subRegion.title=="Title1") || ($subRegion.title=="Title2")) && (${JHS.current.pageComponent.processingAdvancedSearchArea}))
              || (($subRegion.title=="SearchTitle") && !${JHS.current.pageComponent.processingAdvancedSearchArea}))
           ## do nothing
        #else
    ## the usual stuff in this template
    #endIn this example, the Title1 and Title2 regions are not being displayed on the search form (Advanced search)/table page but are displayed on the Form (Insert/update) page. The SearchTitle region is displayed on the Advanced Search/ table page but not on the Form (insert/update) page. Something like that may work in your case.
    If you want some fields to appear on both, but in different regions, copy the items and drop them under the appropriate regions.
