692195-FAQ: Sales Analytics and CRM-BW data Extraction
Question 10: What do the status BWSTONESYS0 , BWSTONEUSS0,BWSTTECSYS0 and various other BW status mean ?
Suggestion 10: The BW status are used to extract system and user defined status.
The BW status are defined in the customization settings in SPRO.
Check for-> Status Concept for BP/Product/CRM objects
Here goto-> Process user status You will find the documentation attached here for the user status. Going inside the transaction you will find the status groups USS0, ZIOP,ZMOP etc. The names of the various BW status are derived from this For ex. BW + ST+ One + USS0 gives the name of the field BWSTONEUSS0 or BWST + ONE + ZMOP = BWSTONEZMOP (Master opportunity values) (which means BWST + (status group name) + status object group name) Double clicking on any of the object groups will take you to the values that these status can have . For ex. BWSTONEUSS0 in your system can have values E001 ,E002,E003,E007 which will be shown in RSA3 as BW status values 1,2,3,7, respectively.
Similarly we have Goto -> Process system status (in SPRO). Here you can get the values for the system status in exactly the same way as BWSTONESYS0(Lifecycle status) , BWSTTECSYS2 (Error) etc. In RSA3 you get the names as BW status, To know which corresponds to which status here,Goto the record list in RSA3 . Here goto Settings - Layout -Current . Right click -> Press Show technical field names . You will be able to see the BW status names and will be able to adjust the layout accordingly.

  • Webtemplate Conversion from 3.x to 7.0 - CRM Lead Analysis

    Hello
Basically, I need to view BI reports pertaining to CRM Lead Analysis in Web UI (i.e. viewing a BI report when one clicks on CRM report in Web UI with all the usual drill down options and graphs/charts) - for which I currently get an error like 'Error loading template 0TPLI* etc and 0TPLI are in older BW ewb template version.
I am trying to convert the 3.x web templates to Bi 7.0 templates using migrate option under Tools in the menu. There is a master template(ICP) 0TMPL_BAP_MASTER which is being referred when trying to migrate a CRM web template 0TPLI_0MKTG_C01_Q70001_01. That master template conversion is throwing XML errors saying that unexpected <form>, <TBODY> etc. I tried deleting those error lines and continue with conversion, but it hangs for a long time going no further.
Could any of you help me with your inputs in this regard.

    Hello
I am now able to see some BI reports in CRM Web UI, but the issue is that the reports are not seen in the client I want them to be seen. I have configured them for Client 110 (the development client and data is present in this client), but I see the reports when I login in Client 100 (master client, which has no data) and click on the links in Web UI.
RFC exists between CRM100 to BI system and also CRM110 to BI system. Is there any setting I need to make in SPRO under UI Framework? I could see the reports there with web templates and report ID's assigned in UI framework - but I do not understand why I get an error like 'Error loading template XXX'
Do I need to activate the web templates, queries, cubes in CRM system? Is it not enough if we do that in the standalone BI system which is connected to CRM system? I have also tried to install the content in CRM100 system (through RSA1) - but I was not able to find the web templates which I need.
Any input on this would be of great help. Thanks.

  • Email Notification in lead center

    Hi,
I have an issue with email notificaiton in Lead Center of Telesales.
Once the lead is converted into qualified, Sales channel and Lead rank will be populated automatically and email notification workflow will be
triggered and email is sent to lead owner.
But in our case, we created lead with manual selection of Sales Channel and converting the lead to qualified. At this point email notification workflow is not triggering.
Not able to understand the Sales Channel role in triggering the email notification workflow.
    Sateesh.

Once the lead is converted into qualified, Sales channel and Lead rank will be populated automatically and email notification workflow will be triggered and email is sent to lead owner.
Can I understand if the above functionality is a customization or available out of the box?
    Thanks,

  • CRM Web UI - Authorisation error for Dashboard report

    Hello
I am accessing CRM specific BI reports on CRM Web UI for areas like Lead Analysis, Marketing and Campaign Analysis etc, and most of the reports are working fine. But when I try to access a dashboard report (I am not really sure if it is called daashboard report beside the report name- it gives me an Authorisation error saying that the 'User does not have proper authorisations'.
I have tried by assigning the role SAP_CRM_OR_USER suggested by a colleague, but even then I get the same error. Our Basis team does not have an idea on the exact role to be used.
Could anyone of you please tell me the exact role to be used in order to see those report on Web UI. Thanks.

    Hi Sven
I have tried that option of the transaction ORDYWB to activate the reports (this was also suggested in a SAP note i.e. to create a Z report and the code for which was given in the SAP note and upon executing the report, it showed a number of activities which have to be performed and had to implement those activities one by one). But in that transaction all the reports and InfoTypes are active with status 'OK'
If you could give me the exact role which you have used for those reports, I will give it a shot. Also, in the CRM Web UI, I am unable to see the technical name of the report of the interactive report (dash board report?). If the report was executing in the CRM Web UI, we could see the technical name of the report, but for the non-executing reports, could you please tell me how to see the technical name?
I have raised this to SAP and looks like even they are having a hard time finding the solution. Thanks.

  • Using Prsentation variable as filter error"None of the fact source are comp

    Hi
I am capturing two date presentation variables SDATE and EDATE using calendar picker and i have a field for expected date which should be between the dates captured so the column formulas here are like
"CASE WHEN CASE WHEN '@{SDATE}' IS NULL THEN CURRENT_DATE ELSE CAST('date'||' '|| CHAR(39)||RIGHT('@{SDATE}',4)||'-'||LEFT('@{SDATE}',LOCATE('/','@{SDATE}')-1)||'-'||SUBSTRING('@{SDATE}'FROM LOCATE('/','@{SDATE}')+1 FOR LOCATE('/','@{SDATE}',LOCATE('/','@{SDATE}')+1)-LOCATE('/','@{SDATE}')-1 )||CHAR(39) AS DATE) END<CAST("- Opportunity Custom Attributes".DATE_25 AS DATE) THEN 1 ELSE 0 END"
"CASE WHEN CASE WHEN '@{EDATE}' IS NULL THEN CURRENT_DATE ELSE
    CAST('date'||' '|| CHAR(39)||RIGHT('@{EDATE}',4)||'-'||LEFT('@{EDATE}',LOCATE('/','@{EDATE}')-1)||'-'||SUBSTRING('@{EDATE}'FROM LOCATE('/','@{EDATE}')+1 FOR LOCATE('/','@{EDATE}',LOCATE('/','@{EDATE}')+1)-LOCATE('/','@{EDATE}')-1 )||CHAR(39) AS DATE) END >=CAST("- Opportunity Custom Attributes".DATE_25 AS DATE) THEN 1 ELSE 0 END"
I am able to see the value 1 or 0 as per the formulas but now if i apply filter on these above columns say =1 or = 0 then as soon as i run dashboard it throws error as
"ORA-01841: (full) year must be between -4713 and +9999, and not be 0 at OCI call OCIStmtExecute" as in when there is no value for presentation variable.
If i pass some value in prompt then reports works fine.
Any thoughts will be really helpful.

Just add a default value into the prompt.
If the default is really complicated then you might have to use SQL to get the default value you want. It's tricky but here's an example of one I've used that defaults the first day of the year:
SELECT date from "Lead Analysis" where date = TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_MONTH,-MONTH(current_date)+1,TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_DAY,-DAY(current_date)+1,current_date))

If CRM and BW are an integral part of ECC 6.0, Do I need to carry out some additional steps/install add-on components(while installing ECC 6.0), to activate CRM and BW OR  will it be activated by default once I am through with the normal installation process of ECC 6.0?

  • Can analytics can be performed with out BI and analytics implemented on CRM

    Hi all,
I want to configure CRM system with marketing, Sales, service scenarios only and i want to perform some Lead analysis, Campaing analysis etc. is it possible with out integration of BI, any installations of CRM analytics modules?
    Rgds,
    Rao

    Hi Rao
With just ABAP reports you can do reporting like in any OLTP system be it R/3 or CRM. The OLAP systems were initially made in order to get in-depth reporting using the data warehousing techniques to store, extract, retrieve data for presentation so that there is no performance degradation on the OLTP system.
Now CRM analytics is just technically like any ERP module analytics (be it CO, FI, SD etc.: if you put aside the diff. kinds of extraction techniques) and like them needs a BI system. The different modeling techniques have to be built normally on a separate BIW system and the results are applied back to business processes in CRM/ERP.
Since netweaver 2004 the BI content as an addon as against the prior releases. Not many customers follow the idea of performing the BI related transactions on the same system as the CRM is unless you have a really robust hardware.

we're looking into revamping our company's website. It'll be mostly a B2B website (in the future b2c). Most importantly we need the website to be able to link into our SAP CRM. The only simliar products i was able to find was CoreMedia and Sybit. Do you guys recommend any kind of a CMS?
    Thanks you in previous!

    Hi Magge,
I used 4 diff. building block to work with SAP CRM 2007 and BI 7.0 Activation Steps. Please note that BASIS, CRM & BI team members has to do their respective activities mentioned as per the building blocks to make CRM <> BI reports visible in CRM....
Following is the building block library and the building blocks I used:
    http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv12007/CRM_DE/HTML/index.htm
(Expand/click on technical information -> click on building block library)
    1. B03 - General Settings for BW Integration
    2. B84 - BI Connectivity
    3. BS4 - Basic Configuration for CRM Analytics
    4. B72 - Leads Analysis
I hope this will solve your problem - if yes, close this link and award the points....
    Cheers,
    Peter J.

  • 0material leading zeros in analyser

    Hi,
I want to hide 0material leading zeros in my reports. I'm using the Bex analyser and I didn't find any option in the query designer.
It's maybe just a checkbox or something but i'm afraid it's not possible...
    Thank you for your answers.

    Hello Akhan,
it's weird, when i execute the MF CONVERSION_EXIT_MATN1_OUTPUT in test mode, with this input value:
    000000000000000008
    The output is the same.
I think it's maybe due to my customizing in OMSL. I chose leading zeros... I thank it's only in BW and could be change for the reporting...
