Legacy Java SE 6 runtime upgrade for Yosemite problem

I've upgraded my old iMac successfully to Yosemiti 10.10.1, but when I try to open Adobe InDesign CS4 it's telling me I need to install the legacy Java SE 6 runtime. I download JavaForOSX2014-001.dmg as instructed, but when I try to open it I get...
'The following disk images couldn't be opened. Reason: Image not recognised.'
Any thoughts welcome - I am not highly technical!

Appears to be a corrupted download. DL it directly from http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572 and try installing it.
