Lenovo Forum Account Not Recognized, But Cannot Use Same Account Information

I previously created a Lenovo forum account, however it was not recogonized when I attempted to sign in to the forums with it. So, I started to recreate it using the same e-mail address. I was able to use the same e-mail address, received the verification e-mail, clicked the verification link, and was prompted to enter a user name and e-mail address. I attempted to use my previous user ID that I was just told did not exists (hence needing to recreate an account) and was told that the ID already existed. Okay, fine I made up a new one. I was also promted to enter an e-mail address. Um, okay. So I tried entering my e-mail address and was told that the e-mail addres was already in use. Huh? How could my old accound both not exist and exist? But I cannot request any help until I have an account. So I created a completely different account using a different e-mail address and user ID. Why did not my original account not work, and am I going to have to go through this again the next time I need to access the forums?  

Your first account has not been associated with a LenovoID, the other two have.  The LenovoID is actually the email address you used to create that LenovoID and not your forum user name.
When you click on Sign In at the top of the forum you will be presented with the LenovoID screen, see the picture in point 3 in this knowledgebase article.  In the immediately visible fields please enter the email and password used when creating your second or third LenovoID accounts which may be different to those used on the forum registration page picture under point 4; this will then automatically log you into the forums with the user name which was associated with that LenovoID.
If you wish for your original member name, DGDCTP, to be associated with the LenovoID created for account 2 or 3 please let us know and we can arrange this for you.

    In iPhoto, open Preferences (under iPhoto in the menu bar) and click the "Accounts" tab on top.  Make sure your email account(s) is/are set up there correctly, just as they are in Apple's Mail.  Make sure the password in included.

     hi guys im new here and its my first time to use blackberry unfortunately for me im very disappointed.. im already connected to wifi but cannot use any application like facebook,twitter,badoo etc.. i didnt try my bb messanger yet but im sure it wont connect as well.. Even my BB app world giving me error message "we cannot connect you to the app world please ensure that your device is connected to a wireless network and try again" what the???? im already connected to a wifi.. and the weirdest thing is that i can browse the internet using the bb browser and watch videos on youtube on the youtube app installed already to the phone.. but again the apps that i installed is not connected..
    So what i notice the simple rebooting of the phone wont work i need to remove the battery and wait the phone to load then i can connect to app world but after few minutes... it will give the error message again..
    Now im thinking to swap this phone and get another brand if this problem wont be solve whats the use of apps if i cant use it??! i already called my network provider and they told me i need to purchase package for data.. are  you kidding me??! i got wifi why should i pay for data!

    thank you for your message and sorry for the problems you have with your BB. 
    Have you checked your Firewall Settings and Application Settings, to make sure, that all apps have access to the internet and are not blocked? Also do you use the phone on BIS or BES, meaning do you use it personally or are you connected to a corporate enterprise server? In the last case, their might be restrictions from your server administrator. 
    I would try to go through all that and see if it works afterwards. Also go and check the application settings to make sure everything is correctly set up there.
    The other thing I would look into is your router. Have you restarted your WiFi router as well? Checked on the Firewall there and everything?  
    As for the datapackage: There are several people here on the forums, complaining, that WiFi does not have priority over mobile data. This means, that if you have a dataplan and activate WiFi, you would still browse using your dataplan and not WiFi, unless you a) either turn off your mobile data connection, which makes you unreachable for calls, sms, etc. or b) if you are a prepaid user, wait until your balance is depleted, in which case the mobile data won't work anymore and you will connect through WiFi.  
    This is however different and should not affect you. Since you do not have a dataplan (at least that is what I understand from your posting), there is no dataplan to use and hence WiFi would have priority for connection with the net, since it is the only available source.  
    I would give it a bet, that it has something to do with your phones settings in any way, or with the router itself (though this is probably unlikely). 
    You can check your firewall settings by doing the following: Browse to your Settings Application or hit Options within any app. Go to advanced settings, check your security settings. You may also want to check your phones WiFi settings, by opening the connections app and open the WiFi configuration.

    Time Machine has been working just fine, but in the last week or two it has given up the ghost. I reset the connections to the drive, and it will basically save a few bytes of data and then hang.
    Although Apple originally announced, prior to the release of the first 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Stations (AEBSn), that it would support Time Machine backups to AirPort Disks, they removed that option before they did finally release the base station for sale.
    Since then, Apple has posted (as you have noted) that they DO NOT support Time Machine backups to AirPort Disks. As far as I know, they have not changed from that position and those who do these backups find that they become corrupted over time. Sorry, but it sounds like you just confirmed that for yourself.

    No. Again, this feature has never been supported by Apple for every generation of AEBSn released.
    2) Are there any changes I can make to get this working again?
    If your data backups are critical to you, then you will want to use a different solution for your Time Machine backup destination drive strategy. I would suggest that you connect your WD My Book directly to your Mac in the mean time.
    Your other options would be to either use a Time Capsule (which interestingly does support TM backups to AirPort Disks) or a non-Apple solution like the Drobo FS or HP MediaSmart server.

    Today I've received a replacement iPad (from Apple), and surprise surprise, when I connected it to iTunes for proceed with the initial setup, the following message arised

    We recommend you visit your nearest Apple Store for more information.
    I've contacted with my local apple support, and they told me to try to reinstall the iPad entering in DFU mode. I did it twice, and both times the procedure went perfectly but once finished the above message appeared once again.
    They have told me to send it once again for repair, but, someone knows how to resolve this ? I've sent my previous iPad ten days ago, and now, I will have to wait other ten and I'm a little bit dissapointed.

  • If my iPhone 3GS turns on but cannot use the touch screen, could the Processor be the problem?

    I recently dropped my iPhone 3GS but cannot use the touch screen. I took to a local repair shop and they tried replacing the digitizer and some other items but still could not get it to work. They advised that the Processor could be the problem. Is this true? If so, can the processor be replaced without losing data? Additionally, my phone has a lock code and when I try to connect it to my desktop to back up, it states that I need to enter my 4 digit pin first, which of course I cannot. Any workarounds here or am I SOL?

    Hook the phone to a computer running iTunes and backup to the computer. Copy pictures off the phone manually to the computer.

    The iPod will only have a phone numnber for Messages and FaceTime if the same ID is currently being used with an iPhone with iOS 6 and and that ID is used for Messages and faceTime.
    There is no way to add a phone number to an iPod otherwise.
    Also, on the iPod yoo can only send and receive Messages from other users who use the Apple Messages app.

    Have you already activated the iPad? That is what the screen is telling you to do - connect to the computer with the supplied cable and run iTunes while connected - and iTunes should guide you through the set up process. If you have already set up the iPad and you are still getting thos screen message - restore your iPad. You must be running iTunes 10.5 on your computer as well.

    Unfortunately, Starter Edition 3.2 has been discontinued for some time now; an alternative option (which is free) could be google Picasa; check that one out to see if it might work for you.
    Photoshop Elements replaced Starter Edition, and comes with a sophisticated organizer that essentially does what Starter Edition did; download the tryout and use it for 30 days for free to see if it does what you want it to.

    Your post is somewhat confusing. To restore your iPad you use the iTunes application on your computer and connect your iPad. Select your iPad in the left column of iTunes on your computer and select General in the right column. You should find the restore choice there.

    Have you updated iTunes with the absolute latest software?  If you have not in a long time, your iPad won't be recognized.

    Another user just has a similar issue tonight and I advised him to go to the below Apple support link to see if the password was recognized there, which eventually resolved his username/passowrd issue. Give it a try and see if it works.
