LibJPEG.dylib - file is not of the required architecture

That message from the title is really driving me crazy... It's what I got after trying to build a SDL project on Xcode.
I downloaded libJPEG from their website and followed some instructions to build it.

A thing I've noticed from that part: among the messages from ./configure I see:
- checking if the linker (/usr/libexec/gcc/powerpc-apple-darwin9/4.0.1/ld) is GNU ld... no
- checking whether the linker (/usr/libexec/gcc/powerpc-apple-darwin9/4.0.1/ld) supports shared libraries... no
Moving on...
make
+sudo make+
+sudo ranlib /usr/local/lib/libjpeg.a+
I've done that compiling maybe three times, and still can't compile anything with SDL. Everything that Xcode throws me is the title of my post. Looking at the dates of the files on /usr/local/lib, I got that their creation and modification dates are:
- libjpeg.a -> Today
- libjpeg.dylib -> 10/20/2008 (think that's the date that I've got Leopard installed)
I've searched everywhere about possible solutions, without success. Any ideas?

How is that on a Universal install of Leopard it installs Intel-only dylibs?
Anyway... Thanks for that. Now... Is there any way to build a Universal dylib of that? I'd really like to develop on SDL... And I can't afford a Mac Intel right now... O_o

The solution is to run 'configure' with '--disable-asm' option before running 'make' on the library.
That doesn't sound so bad.
Also, you must make a 64-bit version of the dependent library (libgpg-error) first and point to that. So, the entire configure line looks like:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local-x86_64 --disable-asm --with-gpg-error-prefix=/usr/local-x86_64
That's just awful.
First, build with default options just to see if it works. The first thing you find out is that you need libgpg-error installed. So build that with default options and install - no problems. Then try libgcrypt. Here you find that they have some non-portable assembly and the configure script don't take that into consideration. So, you add '--disable-asm'. Make and install. All done.
Next, you need to ask yourself if you want to distribute the software you link with this stuff. If so, then you need to build universal binary versions. Maybe you want to build universal binary just because you want to. No problem. But first, build against your native architecture.

Hi there,
When a workflow task is assigned to a user, he cannot open a particular task. and
sees this error in browser:
A form template .xsn file cannot be accessed. You may not have the required permissions to open the file
The ULS Log for Correlation ID has these errors:
The XSN is null and its not a cross server issue. Most likely a permission issue
The XSN is null after attempting to get it from SiteAndWebCache
Please note:
- This user can open all other forms in the same location.
- If I increase his permission to Site Owner, he can open this form - but we cannot allow this.
- He was able to open it earlier - I made minor changes in the form and republished the workflow - since then he is having the trouble.
Any help will be appreciated!

Please check if that user has contributor permission on the list that the workflow associated and have Edit item permission on related task list/item.
Also check if the workflow form or other workflow files has been checked out or not. If yes, check it in and test it again. Check Wayne Fan’s post in this thread if you have trouble to check the check-out/in status of the task form.

Not to sure what type AVI files they are, the storage devise is at present offshore on a job.
Can you clarify, if you edit/import video footage with adobe premiere 10 and then create a file, the file or the original raw footage is not stored on computer for re-use, if it is stored, is it stored in the original format.

Test 1 succeeds, returning expected results, and Test 2 fails returning the error mentioned above.
Other articles I've found so far don't seem to apply to my case. I am not creating any explicit transactions in my code. When I use OPENQUERY, I am able to do the insert just fine, but not when I use EXEC @MDX at LinkedServer.
Unfortunately in some variations of the query, I run into the 8800 character limit on OPENQUERY, so I need to use this other approach.
Any ideas?

Why is RoboHelp not displaying the required data content of .chm when linked as Help in my App ?

Has anyone encountered the below-said show- stopper. Another BIG TIME help required, will help me in tremendous fashion.
Am using Adobe RoboHelp, Version 10 and IE version being 10.
In my local machine :
1.)I have completed my technical writing courtesy Design editor
2.)Generating chm File : View -> Pods –> Single Source Layouts -> Right Click on Microsoft HTML Help -> Tagged Set as Primary Layout
3.)Generating Primary Layout : File -> Generate -> Primary Layout (Microsoft HTML Help)…
4.)Viewing Primary Layout : File -> View -> Primary Layout
Everything works FANTASTICALLY till here with the required output (as Hide, Back, Refresh, Home, Print, Options, Contents, Index, Search, Glossary and with the data contents)
Show Stopper, At my Application Server :
5.)I copy the entire robohelp project folder from my local machine to my application Server path
6.)My Application has been developed in ASP .NET, Version 4.0.

If you looked at the error message and searched the forum, you should find the answer as this is a problem that started in 2005. You should not run CHM files from a server and cannot without editing the users registry. See the page below.

I’m running the sample encryption code and I’m running in to this exception:
"com.adobe.flashaccess.sdk.cert.ServerCredentialException: Certificate does not have the required extended key usage". I tried looking it up on javadocs but it doesn’t really tell me what’s causing it. I get this error when encryptContent is called. Is this something in my settings/environment or something with the certificates?

If you are using the EncryptContent.java sample code, please check which credential you are using for the "packagerCredentialFile" variable. Make sure this is pointing at the .pfx file containing the packager credential.

The Downloaded PDF file does not contain the Signature through BSP pages

We have an requirement for Distributing the FORM 16 to all Employee's through our Website, where the user will login and download his own FORM 16 ( TDS Certificate)
This FORM 16 ( TDS Certificate ) is generated in SAP ( ECC 6.0 ) in Payroll Module.
To satisfy the above requirement we have done the following steps.
1) First we have modified the standards SAP Sapscript(Layout) to incorporate the Signature of Authorised Payroll Person.
We have done this by uploading the BMP file ( though t-code SE78 ) and then calling this file in the Standards layout which prints the FORM 16 document.
2) WE also Modifed the Dirver program to Download the above document in a .PDF file.
The Program creates the seperate file for each employee and assigns the employee number as a file name to each downloaded file. These all files are downloaded on a Users Machine.
We opened the Downloaded .PDF files, and checked for the Signatures. The Signature were comming perfect as it ws uploaded.
3) We uploaded these all FORM 16 PDF file off all emlpoyee's to a different SERVER ( BW 7.0 ). With the help of BASIS person, using the FTP utility.
4) We wrote a BSP program to download this ulploaded PDF Files.
BUT we are facing a PROBLEM in the DOWNLOADED PDF file.
The Downloaded file does not contain the Signature which is there is the Original file we uploded this server.
All other data in the dowloaded PDF file is Perfect other than the Signature.
When we open the downlaoded PDF file it give's following message on the Signautre page.
" Xobject not found named 00013"
The number of the Object comes different to different files.
We are using Function module 'SCMS_STRING_TO_XSTRING' to Convert string to Xstring
We are using the the " CALL METHOD CL_BSP_UTILITY=>DOWNLOAD" for downloading the PDF file.

The SYSVAL table entry for the database version (16) does not match the required version

We upgraded from Tidal Enterprise Scheduler (TES) 5.31 to 6.1 on fresh Windows x64 2008 R2 servers. I did a fresh install but our DBA restored a copy of our database from pre-prod which was at 5.31. I get the error below. Note, SQL went from 2005 to 2012 during this upgrade. Do I need to change a value in this table to reflect the SQL change?

I had this error last night while applying a patch to 6.0. However in my case the version was 21 versus a required version of 23.
As far as i know 6.1 is not compatible with the 5 db schema, so you will need an update / migration plan for the db also.

Solaris: The System does not have the required swap space

I'm trying to install Oracle onto Solaris 9. The installation check fails with the error

I've read the install Guide I get the following when I do the memory checks

The install guide doesn't say how to increase the Swap Space. I would like to increase the Swap Space just for the duration of the installation. From the install guide I'll need a Swap Space of 1.5 times the Ram on the machine so I'll need 1.5GB Swap Space. Can someone help me out with the required syntax to increase the Swap File Size?

Found something on the web that did the trick. Create a few files and then add to your swap.. In case it's of interest to anyone else here's what I had to do
swap -l (lists files in swap)
mkdir /tmp/swap/ (create dir for file to add to swap)
mkfile tmp/swap/swap11 (create file for swap)
swap -a tmp/swap/swap11 (add file to swap)
swap -l (check files in swap)

I am trying to use Visual Studio 2013 with Windows Phone SDK 8.0 on Windows 8.1 Enterprise running as a guest in a VirtualBox virtual machine hosted from Windows 7 Ultimate. The Windows Phone emulator in Visual Studio will not work. The
guest Hardware Virtualization settings for VT-x and Nested Paging are selected. The BIOS setting for Virtualization is enabled. However, in the guest Windows 8.1 features settings, the "Hyper-V Platform" option is disabled and indicates
that the "Hyper-V cannot be installed: The processor does not have the required virtualization capabilities." However, I checked on my processor which is an Intel (Clarksfield), I7-740QM 1.73 and it supports Hyper-V,
SLAT/EPT. My BIOS has only a single option for enabling Virtualization but none of the other SLAT/EPT, VMX, XD options. I am lost here. Is there a solution? Do I need to use Visual Studio 2013 and Windows Phone SDK 8.0 directly
on a Windows 8.1 host and not through a virtual machine?

You can't run Hyper-V inside a VirtualBox VM (nested virtualization). It doesn't pass through the necessary CPU requirements.
The only virtualization solution that allows for nested VMs is VMware's Workstation and vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi). VMware Player is their free product, you may be able to use it, I've not tried player, but have nested Hyper-V in both Workstation and ESXi.
Follow the instructions here for setting up VMware Player, you need to set the VM settings and .vmx file for it to work.

Export failing with "The user does not have the required rights to perfrom

We are testing an upgrade to BOXI 3.1. We use the CrystalReportViewer .net web control to view the report. When the export button is clicked and the Crystal Reports file format is selected, the following error message is displayed:
"The user does not have the required rights to perfrom this operation. Please contact your administrator. "
Notice that perfrom is not spelled correctly. This is what actually gets displayed.
I'm not too concerned about the spelling, but I do want to fix the error. So I checked the security on the folder and the user does have full control. Both advanced security options are selected:
-View document instances that the user owns
-Export the report's data
So what else could be causing this?

I had applied the full control access to the wrong group. Once I applied that access to the user that actually generates the report, it worked.
