Libraries and Classpath option panel is empty

Hi All,
Just installed Jdeveloper 11g 11.1.1.1.0 on Vista 64b.
Added my jar file into "Manage Libraries" whent to the project properties, "Libraries and Classpath", but this pannel is empty, blank, does not have any options....
Any ideas what is wrong?
Jar file itself already copied in to the project, so I do not have issue of using it
Thank you.

Hi,
the same environment but when I go to project properties, "Libraries and Classpath" I can see all my project libraries and also Add library... button shows my jar to add to Project

  • Enhancement Request in Project Libraries and Classpath dialog

    Hello,
    in the Libraries and Classpath section of the Project Properties we can move up/down single classpath entries only. Adding some libraries and ordering them is pretty much work.
    Please allow moving multiple selected entries (this was possible in 904).
    From our point of view libraries should be added at the beginning of the list. Most times we add user defined libraries that we want in the beginning of the classpath.

  • Using 'save as...' and the options panel to optimize

    When I take a JPG and use "save as..." then select 'options' I can't seem to change the file size manually.  When the options window opens after I do save as, I go through the regular process of using the slider to change the percentage of quality.  I can see in the upper right-hand corner the file size changes.  I click 'OK' and then save in the next window and I wind up with the file in the same original size, as if I hadn't changed the percentage.  Am I forgetting something...I know 'save as...' in Lion/Mountain Lion is not a default setting, but Export doesn't give me the options I want.  Also renaming the file, moving it to another place, none of those things enable to me to save a file with the reduced file size.
    Thanks in advance!

    I think you're running into a known Fireworks bug, where options specified by a user within the Save As options dialog are overridden by settings already specified within the Optimize panel or Image Preview dialog. This is typically only a problem when the files being saved/exported are of the same type—e.g., using Save As to create a JPEG from an existing JPEG, or a PNG with transparency from an existing PNG.
    Have a look at this forum post and thread for more info:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4701484#4701484
    You should have better luck if you Export the file using File > Image Preview. This brings up the same dialog as the Save As options, but your settings, in this case, will be honored.

  • Computer crashing and nvidia control panel missing options

    Hey, I bought 2x msi gtx 970 and put them in sli mode. They worked fine for a while but yesterday I started having problems. I was playing shadow of mordor and suddenly my screen went black and my computer restarted. It worked fine afterwards tho. Then today I played some LoL and after playing for like 15 minutes or so it happened again. But now also after the computer restarted my nvidia control panel was missing options. There were only setup g-sync, set up stereostopic 3d and view rating for games. I'm not sure if this happened yesterday too. I tried reinstalling the drivers (tho I'm not 100% sure I did a perfectly clean install) and the options came back but the crash happened again and the options disappeared also again. I have 850w corsair tx850 so I think that should be enough power? My mobo is asus P8Z77V-Deluxe and cpu intel i7 3770k @ 4.3ghz. So what is the problem?
    EDIT: after I restarted my computer again the options in the control panel reappeared
    EDIT2: I ran furmark with both sli on and sli off for about 50 minutes and oddly enough my computer didn't crash. Everything ran well. Here's some statistics from sli: GPU1: 1316MHz @ 99% load, temp 80 C, voltage 1.193V, GPU2: started at 1303MHz and then dropped to 1277MHz @ 97% load, temp 62 C, voltage 1.206V. Another weird thing is that the crashes in lol kept happening even after this and always around 15-20 mins to the game. I would say it's an issue with lol but it happened once with shadow of mordor too. I haven't played any other games. Also it's weird that this started happening only recently, not from the beginning. I do recall downloading some update to geforce experience recently, don't know if that matters.
    Also I'd like to know that are those temperatures normal for air cooling in sli and/or are they too high?
    EDIT3: Just noticed that everytime I try to run pci-express render test on gpu-z my computer crashes instantly and apparently trying to run furmark now also crashes the computer

    Hello,
    Could you please be more accurate on your spec: >>Posting Guide<<  RAM, frequencies, timings and so on.
    Would be worth trying bit more powerful PSU. Not saying this one is insufficient, but it's always best to rule something out for 100% sure.
    Remove OC from the CPU and RAM (RAM to be 1333MHz and CPU to run stock). Or try >>Clear CMOS Guide<<
    Make sure that you're running latest BIOS for the motherboard <Contact ASUS about it>
    Temps are completely fine for SLI on air. Top card always is much hotter than the other. However you could reapply thermal paste on both cards, run single card for 1h and record its temps, then do the same for the 2nd card (in single card mode so the other is out of the PC) and use the cooler one on top.
    I feel so dumb right now. Seems like one power cord from the psu to my gpu wasn't properly attached and now that it's completely connected everything seems to work. I'll update this thread if that didn't fix the problem. But anyways thanks for your fast response

  • Upgrade or Archive and Install option on  new and almost empty HDD?

    My Macbook has recently come back from repair with a new HDD fitted after the original failed. It has Tiger and iLife 6 installed plus a couple of 3rd party applications (PhotoPresenter and Onyx) but apart from the configurations for my Airport base stations there is not else on it yet. I have a home wireless network that I set up from this Macbook comprising of an Airport Extreme and an Airport Express connecting wirelessly and I don't want to risk losing my internet connection. Is it still considered to be the safer option to install Leopard using the Archive and Install option or would it be ok to choose Upgrade which looks easier to do and would take up less space on the hard drive? I also want to upgrade to iLife 8 at some point...should I do that first?

    Hi 12frets56;
    If you do the Upgrade and have problems, you can always do the Archive & Install later. That is part of the reason I suggest do the Upgrade first. It is fast and easy. If it works for you as it did for me you are done quickly.
    I also start with a clone of my current system first that I test to be sure I can boot from it. So far I have not needed it but it is alway nice to know that you can get back to the current system just in case.

  • IPhoto asked to upgrade library and has now come up empty even though my iPhoto file is over 130GB.  How do I get back my photos?

    iPhoto asked to upgrade library and has now come up empty even though my iPhoto file is over 130GB.  How do I get back my photos?   I am using OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 with Mavericks.   My iPhoto is 9.6.   I am very concerned as this file has all my photos for the last 15 years!

    If the iPhoto Library is still 130 GB large, your photos are probably still inside; perhaps the library has a corruption.
    Or the iPhoto Library is on drive, that is incompatible with iPhoto. Where is your iPhoto Library stored?
    To check for a library corruption:  Ctrl-click or right-click the iPhoto library and select "Show Package Contents". This will show the folders inside the library package.
    Are there folders called "Masters" or "Old Masters"?
    If there is a folder "Old Masters", you are having a problem with recent bug, that corrupts iPhoto Libraries when upgrading. In that case, it would be best to restore your iPhoto Library from a backup you made before you upgraded to Yosemite.
    Or, if no backup is available, copy the "old Masters" folder to a folder on your Desktop and create a new iPhoto library and import the Old Masters folder.
    If there is no folder "old Masters" try to rebuild your iPhoto Library with the First Aid tools :
    Make a backup copy of your iPhoto Library, but don't overwrite any older backups.
    To launch the "First Aid Tools" hold down the options-command keys ⌥⌘ while double clicking your iPhoto Library.
    Keep the keys held down firmly until the First Aid panel appears.
    Select  "Rebuild Database".

  • Problems with libraries and plugins - non admin account

    I''ve got a couple of problems with a fresh install of photoshop on my windows Windows 7 64 bits system.
    1. Libraries panel does not work. It displays the following error and interaction is not possible:
    2. 3rd party plugins would load their content.
    3. In the Creative Cloud Application the apps tab would load and displays the "download error" message:
    The funny thing is that all the above errors don't occur on the loacl admin account. So I think this might be a permission problem. I think the most easy sollution would be to work under the admin account, but sadly that's no option (company policy). I am able to extent the rights of the useraccount I work on, but I don't know in wich folders the software needs write permissions. The both Adobe folders in program files and program files (x86) I already changed to full acces for all users. Can someone please help me?

    Problems with libraries and plugins - non admin account https://forums.adobe.com/people/pippyn%20stortelder
    This is a permissions Error.  The other accounts on the computer do have permissions to use / change the administrator settings of these particular items.
    There are two ways you can fix this. 1.) contact the admin of the system and let him know your accounts need read access to these items
    My Preferred method is:
    If you are on a Windows Account, then you can choose those items to run in Administrator mode for all people.  ( win7,64bit )
    Right click the infinity system for creative cloud (creative cloud icon - you would normally click to start the program. (not the one in your service tray, but the one in your menu area with the square red on it.
    choose/click on properties
    choose/click compatibility (tab at the top of the window)
    Last boxed option on this screen is: Run Program As Administrator,  Click that check box.
    Click on  Change Settings for All Users
    in the window that comes up again choose, put an X in the box-  the last option, Run Program As Administrator - Click Apply
    Click OK
    Click OK and the opened preferences window should now be closed.
    You should be able to simply invoke the Cloud app now. But you might want to reboot to safe.
    Depending on the installation methods used for your add-ons, you may have to perform this same process for all add-ins.  I believe that would depend on which account, first installed the add-on and what level of permissions they have.
    Good Luck

  • Java Classpath options

    My question is about Java classpath options in a production environment.
    The company I work for wants to start developing Java applications. These applications will not be running via a web container but standalone on a unix machine. We are setting up the environment and are unsure about the industry best practices. Specifically where it deals with classpath. We have around 15 developers and are not sure how to set up the environment on the production machine so that:
    A) The migration process is not overly complex (developers do not migrate/set up the code in production, they develop it and stage it and then other employees move it into production).
    B) There is no danger of getting the wrong versions of libraries (for example I am writing code using some toolkit that is version 2 and a co-worker is using version 3 of the same toolkit).
    Here is what we have come up with.
    1. Require all developers to place their Java code in executable JARs with a MAIN-CLASS attribute and the CLASSPATH attribute set. Here there would be no classpath set on the production environment and each developer would be responsible for setting everything in the jar. One object to migrate.
    2. Require all developers to write a shell script to accompany their Java code that will set up the CLASSPATH. This adds programs and adds another object/step to the migration.
    3. Just throw all library JAR files in the main JRE class path on the production machine and classes in a /class folder pointed to by $CLASSPATH. This seems like a bad idea and could cause confusion.
    4. Require all developers to use custom class loaders in their programs - we do not really understand this method.
    Thanks ahead of time for any advice on this issue.

    jverd wrote:
    I actually would prefer #2 over #1. I don't like dinking around with the manifest file, and if I want to see what's going on, I find it easier to read a shell script than to pull apart a jar. Plus, even with a jar, you may end up writing a script to set up other environment variables or prepare directories, etc. anyway.I prefer that as well.
    The manifest doesn't bother me but with more complex systems, solutions often require something more than just java. Especially for stand alone apps (versus JEE apps.)
    Additionally it allows one to control the VM.

    (1) This seems to severely limit the options to share such a JDeveloper project file between developers in a team (e.g. using Subversion), because they would need their Maven repository and their JDeveloper project to be in the same (relative) location. Is this intended? Are there any options to work around these limitations?
    (2) If a project evolves, and additional libraries need to be configured in a JDeveloper project, what would be the preferred approach to keep these in sync with Maven dependency configurations?
    many thanks
    Jan Vervecken

    Hi Jan,
    Yes, some of the current approach is not ideal.
    +"Maven's primary goal is to allow a developer to comprehend the complete state of a development effort in the shortest period of time."+ - By having the pom.xml define for the project, I get the ability to run site goals, junit tests and other maven reports - get a feel for the project state. Even with a very basic pom.xml file containing the groupId, ArtifactId, version, SVN repository definition and the release plugin you gain the ability to use "mvn release:clean release:prepare" to help with tagging the source in SVN. These represent progress as up to this point the team has not had access to this.
    +"Making the build process easy".+ - The approach does make the build part easier for JDeveloper 10.1.2. As a maven build, it is now possible to check the project into SVN and have it built by Bamboo, without having to include an installation of JDeveloper 10.1.2 (for library access) on the CI server.
    +"If I understand correctly, in your approach, you are trying to keep both pom.xml and JDeveloper project files up-to-date manually?"+ - The only reason for keeping the JPR in sync with the pom.xml file is to allow the developers to still make use of features such as selecting run from the right click menu. At present, I am still slowly getting up to speed on how JDeveloper works and interacts with OC4J. Ultimately, you would want a maven plugin that will deploy the packaged WAR or EAR to the OC4J stand-alone or remote instance. This plugin would probably wrap the commands that the IDE uses, e.g.
    If you right click on the deployment profile for a project (JDeveloper 10.1.2) and select the Platform > Standalone OC4J options, you find:
    Deploying Ear+
    ${java} ${jvm.max.heap.size} -jar ${admin.jar}
    ${oc4j.url} ${username} ${password}
    -deploy -file ${ear.file}
    -deploymentName ${j2ee.app.name}
    Binding Web Apps+
    ${java} -jar ${admin.jar}
    ${oc4j.url} ${username} ${password}
    -bindWebApp ${j2ee.app.name} ${j2ee.web.app.name}
    ${oc4j.web.site} ${j2ee.context.root}
    And for Platform > OracleAS Remote DCM:
    ${java} -Djava.protocol.handler.pkgs=HTTPClient
    -jar ${Oc4jDcmClient.jar}
    ${dcm.servlet.url} ${username} ${password}
    redeploy ${remote.oracle.home}
    ${ear.file} ${j2ee.app.name} ${oc4j.instance.name}
    With a maven plugin- wrapping the deployment (possible even to the embedded OC4J) you could then look at get away without maintaining the libraries in the JPR. The JPR the becomes the configuration file for the IDE interaction only without affecting the build. For debugging, you can deploy to a standalone instance and start it using:
    java -server -Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=4000 -jar oc4j.jar
    Then connect to the port specified. The primary project I was working on was developed in Netbeans and deployed to SJSAS. I have since switch this project to working with JDeveloper 11.1.1 as the IDE and doing remote debugging from the IDE connecting to the SJSAS debug port.
    Note, that the maven plugin development for the managing of these aspects should be easier with JDeveloper 11.1.1 and the integrated WLS.
    Have you used this approach in a project that uses ADF Business Components? - Yes, I have used it on one of the smaller ADF projects that had already been produced by the team. This project has all the maven features and ability to deploy to the remotes AS via ant scripts. The approach worked in both the dev and test environments. However, for final deployment, I still used the deployment profile to be consistent with the rest of the team.
    Regards,
    Graeme.

  • Want to erase and install & reinstall iTunes libraries and some documents

    My iMac G4 Flat Panel is 9gb shy of being totally full and performance really suffers as a result. I want to erase the drive and install Leopard (I just bought a new disk).
    What is the best way(s)/procedures to backup my iTunes libraries and some documents so that I can reinstall them on the newly formatted drive?
    After paying for the Leopard disk, I don't want to buy any other programs to do the backup. I have been backing up the drive to an external using Backup.

    Steven,
    Backup is a fine application, but it typically targets specific items to be backed up. Meaning, that it is not necessarily entirely comprehensive. At least not in the context of migrating from one installation to another.
    One of the concepts present in OS X is the idea that everything that makes your account "yours," all of your data, settings, history, etc., is entirely contained within your HOME folder. By moving that HOME folder into any new installation, you essentially transplant your entire experience as a user into the new location. In many cases, this works so well that, if someone did it behind your back while "swapping" computers with you, you would never know the difference. That's how it works, in theory.
    In practice, there are usually some minor things that pop up in such a transfer, but these are all minor in the extreme. One might end up with a "question mark" or two in one's Dock, resulting from the absence of a linked application in the new installation. The question mark can be removed, or the application in question can be installed, so these things are easy enough to fix.
    Your situation is complicated somewhat by the fact that you want to "whittle down" what you restore to the new installation. The assumption I make, based on your posts, is that you have only the one account, and your single HOME folder contains enough data to consume most of your disk space. OK, you can handle this several ways...
    You could cover all bases by making one complete backup of your HOME folder as it is now, then begin "whittling down" what you have now before wiping your drive and reinstalling. This would give you the opportunity to reduce your disk space consumption while still working within your HOME folder; testing what you do, as it were, and with the knowledge that your deletions are not irreversible. When you find the right balance between what you can delete and what you must keep, you can make an additional backup of your reduced HOME folder (provided you have enough space on your external drive).
    Or, you could make a complete backup of your HOME folder, as it exists now, then go ahead and format/reinstall. You would then have to decide what you will move from the backup into your new account. Part of this process is knowing just where to place transferred items for everything to work properly. As far as simple files are concerned, it wouldn't make any difference where you place them. Items contained in libraries, however, might be quite complicated to move, unless you simply moved the entire libraries in question. In these cases, the libraries themselves must be transferred to the correct locations. It's not an insurmountable problem, but it does complicate matters a bit.
    Finally, you could backup and restore the HOME folder as it currently exists. Typically, the process of formatting and reinstalling, then restoring user data, results in a more compact installation. Over time, any installation accrues some fragmented free space, and this effectively reduces the storage capacity of a volume. As much as or more than 10% of the size of the volume can be recovered this way. In any case, your new installation will be smaller than the old to some degree, even with all of your user data restored. Once you get to this point, you could begin reducing the amount of data you have stored, just as in option #1 above, and again safe in the knowledge that nothing you delete is irrecoverable.
    rsync is powerful. While it is easy to use, it has many options and is therefore complex to learn. Its "man pages" might be considered daunting. I could provide a copy and paste command for you to run which would make a complete backup of your HOME folder, provided I knew the path to a destination. The exact name of your external drive, along with any nested folders therein you might want to use as a destination, would suffice.
    If you want to read more about rsync yourself, open Terminal and type "man rsync," then press <RETURN>. The "man" application will scroll line by line by using the arrow keys, and page by page by pressing the spacebar. Press "q" to quit the man application.

  • Save options panel not displaying correctly on a mac - photoshop CS6

    Hi
    I am finding that when using photoshop cs6 on a mac and when saving files as png or web files - the options panel displays as black and you are unable to see any of the options.
    how do you change this?
    Thanks

    And the version of the OS you are using is a secret why?
    Boilerplate-text:
    Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?
    Are Photoshop and OS fully updated?
    As with all unexplainable Photoshop-problems you might try trashing the prefs (after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved and making a note of the Preferences you’ve changed) by keeping command-alt-shift pressed on starting the program or starting from a new user-account.
    System Maintenance (repairing permissions, purging PRAM, running cron-scripts, cleaning caches, etc.) might also be beneficial, Onyx has been recommended for such tasks.

    Weeding out bad fonts never seems to be a bad idea, either. (Validate your fonts in Font Book and remove the bad ones.)

    If 3rd party plug-ins are installed try disabling them to verify if one of those may be responsible for the problem.

  • Can a Mac Pro support 5 DVI panels and 1 HDMI panel?

    I'm deciding between getting a Mac Pro or new PC. I have 5 DVI panels and 1 HDMI panel to support. I know a variety of PC motherboards support a variety of video cards that will support those display requirements.
    Does anybody know if the video options for the Mac Pro will also support those display requirements?

    To do this with 5770s you would need two of them and at least 2 "active" adapters. It might be more cost effective to use the 5770 it will come with and 2@ 2600XT cards.
    A simple rule of thumb for video cards, ATI/AMD cards ALL work on ALL Mac Pros (if they are Mac cards)
    When looking at Nvidia cards, you need to be aware of which model Mac you have. Some Nvidia cards will be "EFI-32" only, and some will be "EFI-64" only. New Mac Pros are all EFI64.
    http://macvidcards.com/macpro/which-mac-pro-do-you-own/
    Whatever card you get, be sure it is specifically listed as being for Mac Pros. Only with Nvidia cards do you need to worry about which model.
