I do not know what any of these do or how to fix them. I have run multiple disk permission repairs & disk repairs. The startup & system extension errors continue to come up.
I even followed the directions to move HP IO & HP Trap Monitor to the trash, run disk permissions repair, put back in folder, then restart - and still am getting error message.

Photosmart C6280 won't print after trying to clear library/startupitems error

I have had a Library/Startupitems error ever since updating my HP software a couple of years ago. In trying to finally resolve this issue myself, the HP website suggested removing and reinstalling the software. There is no active link within the HP support pages for a download. I found a C6200 series driver online, which I've installed, but now I cannot print anything but a test page, and I still have the Library/Startupitems error. As it is, I cannot even find that file at all to fix the error.

Since the C6280 doesn't have full feature software and drivers, I can't image the error is stemming from the printer. I can however, provide you with instructions to remove ALL HP software including the HP driver that was provided from the apple software update.
If I understand one of your previous messages, it looks like perhaps you had this printer installed previously and then upgraded the Mac OS. If this is the case, then old software that was previously compatible could be the root cause.
Once the HP software and drivers are removed, you can restart the computer and see if the error persists. The final step would then to be reinstall the Apple software update.
Follow the instructions below. I apologize in advanced this is not a fun task! I will try to make it easy to follow. Some of the files described in the following steps may not be found, if you can't find one of the files or folders on your computer, don't be alarmed.
Move the files and/or folders to the trash, drag and drop
Macintosh HD/Applications//Hewlett-Packard folder
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/ - delete all files and folders regarding HP/Hewlett Packard
In Macintosh HD/Library/Caches - delete all files and folders regarding HP/Hewlett Packard

In MacintoshHD/Users/USERNAME/Library/Printers, drag any All-in-One printers listed here into the trash.
Drag the HP icons from the Dock and drop it on an empty space on the desktop. The icon will disappear.
Close all open windows.
Restart the computer. - The startup error may be gone now.
Empty the Trash.
If the error is indeed gone, download and install the HP Printer Drivers for OS X and you should now be able to print and the start up error should cease to exist. If the error is still present, proceed to the next set of steps.
Remove the print driver and other software from a computer.
From the computer desktop, double-click the Macintosh HD  icon.
Double-click the Library folder.
Double-click the Printers folder.
Right-click the HP folder, and then select Move to Trash.
When prompted, type the Administrator name and Password for the computer, and then click OK. Wait for authentication to complete.

Double-click the Contents  folder.
Double-click the Resources  folder.
Locate your printer in the printer list, and then right-click on your printer and select Move to Trash.

Click the Trash icon on the taskbar, click the Empty  button, and then click OK to empty the trash.
NOTEBy clicking OK, all items in your trash will be permanently deleted from your computer. To delete one item in the trash, click that item to highlight it, and then click OK.
On the upper-left corner of the computer desktop, click the Apple menu icon, and then click System Preferences on the drop-down menu.
Double-click Print & Scan.
In the Printers list, click your HP printer, and then click the Minus button to delete it.
Restart the computer and now you have a fresh start. - The start up error should be gone now (If the error is gone now, there is no need to proceed to the repair Disk Permissions step, instead simply download the HP Printer Drivers for OS X.
After logging in, Repair Disk Permissions
On the Dock, click  Applications, and then click Utilities.
Double-click Disk Utility.
Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left (by default this is "Macintosh HD").
Click the Repair Disk Permissions button at the bottom of the window.
Once the repair is complete, restart the computer .
Restart the computer - At this point you should no longer see the startup error
Download and install the HP Printer Drivers for OS X, once the install is successful we can then delete the loginwindow.plist from the desktop.

Creating SNMP Trap Monitors in 2012 R2

Hello,
For the past week or so I have been attempting to create a MP for my company's UPSs to be monitored in SCOM 2012 R2. I have created a custom MP with custom datasources and objects. All seems to go according to the plan until I attempt to create a SNMP
Trap monitor for those objects. I am able to verify that the device is discovered and is sending the traps successfully with a view. The problem seems to lie within the setup of the monitor. to create a monitor that will be triggered by an incoming trap saying the UPS is on Battery Power.

I tried the following things while attempting to troubleshoot this issue:
Leaving First
SnmpTrapProvider and Second
SnmpTrapProvider blank while creating the monitor.
Adding "" and also '' around the value as it is a string and perhaps that was the cause.
Changing the First and Second SNMPTrapProvider to .1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.4.1.0 since that is the specific OID I am looking for the value of.
Reading every page of the internet and bashing my head on the keyboard.
I am guessing that the issue will reside in the the monitor creation and definition, but I have not found anything that clearly describes how to fill out the SNMP Trap Monitor wizard given the trap info. Especially since the trap I am receiving does
not seem to contain the usual OID with a common Int or string value. Hopefully someone can provide assistance as I am nearing my wits end with this problem.

Firstly, thank you Michael Skov, knowing that the First and Second SnmpTrapProvider or <FirstOIDProps> in the xml, needed to be blank got me pointed in the right direction. I figured I would come back and share my final working code snippet in case

HP Trap Monitor

What is HP Trap Monitor and do I need it? I have an Officejet 6500A and a Pro 8000, both on a wired network (The 6500a is wired only, the 8000 is wireless but I couldn't get it configured so just plugged it in). All Macs on the network (2) are running OS 10.6.8 with current drivers.
When I restart my MacBook Pro it tells me HP Trap Monitor does not have proper security settings to run.
Can I just delete it or move it out of the "Startup Items" folder?

Hi, please try the following:
Click the Go menu and then click Computer,
open Library > Startup Items
Right click (CTRL+Left from your Mac keyboard) the HP IO folder and click Get Info
Under Sharing & Permissions the following:
System = Read & Right
Wheel = Read Only
Everyone = Read Only
Click the Gear icon and choose to Apply to all enclosed items and approve.
Reboot your Mac and check if the message has gone now.

E 530: "Dolby Audiotreiber kann nicht gestartet werden" Ergänzung zum untenstehenden Text: - die Lösung gemäss Supportseite Treiber mit Löschen und neu installieren hat nichts gebracht- gemäss Momentaufnahme besteht aktuell die Basiskonfiguration aus der Treiberversion 8.54.44.0 11-07-2012 während die aktuelle Konfiguration mit 8.65.27.61 06-17-2014 angegeben ist. Wie bringe ich wieder eine lauffähige Version auf das System VOR der Installtion Windows 10? Danke für Unterstützung am ‎05-09-2015 01:12 PM Mein System ist ausgehend von Windows 8 über Microsoft Update laufend aktualisiert und auf den Stand 8.1 gebracht worden. Es hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Da das System immer langsamer wurde, wollte ich es gemäss Anleitung "auffrischen" was aber nicht gelang. So musste ich das System neu aufsetzen. Alle Updates für Windows 8 wurden von MS über das update bezogen; das Einspielen von Windows 8.1 erfolgte über den MS-Store. Seither wird bei jedem Aufstarten die Fehlermeldung "Dolby Audiotreiber kann nicht gestartet werden......" angezeigt. Unter dem Conexant 20671 Smart Audio HD wurde nach dem neu Aufsetzen der Treiber 8.54.440 (Stand 11-07-2012) angezeigt. Heute habe ich den Treiber 8.65.27.61, aber noch immer die gleiche Fehlermeldung. Welcher VERSIONSSTAND funktioniert für E530? Bitte um widerspruchsfreie Erläuterung über den Installationsvorgang; Anleitungen von Lenovo sprechen von Deinstallation des alten Treibers - teils mit teils ohne Systemneustart vor der Installation während die "Readmes" das einfache Darüberinstallieren vorschlagen. Vielleicht wäre auch das Vorgehen für das Aktualisieren der Lenovo Zusatzprogramme zu überdenken. Vor dem Auffrischen des Systems: von Lenovo mit vorinstalliertem Setup, möglicherweise nachträglich geändert mit den MS-Updates. Nach Auffrischen System: zusammen mit den Updates für Windows 8 und nachher für Windows 8.1 von Microsoft. Frage Recovery Partition:
ja - in der Annahme, es handle sich um jene von Windows 8 bzw. 8.1; sie existiert auf der Festplatte und auf einem Stick. Massnahmen:
Treiber deinstalliert, Treibersoftware entfernt und neu gestartet. Fehlermeldung erscheint wieder, der Lautsprecher funktioniert (in welcher Qualität auch immer). Die von Dir empfohlene Version ist jene, die ich beim deinstallieren entfernt habe.
Seit diesen Massnahmen ist installiert: High Definition Audio-Gerät von MS, Datum 22.8.13, Version 6.3.9600.16384. Somit bin ich gleich ratlos wie vorher. Photoshop Elements 12 konnte aufgrund einer Fehlermeldung: "Photoshop Elements cannot start or continue because of missing file(s). Please reinstall.", nicht gestartet werden.
Nach einer Neuinstallation kam es zu folgender Fehlermeldung: "Photoshop 12.0.exe wird gesucht. Klicken Sie auf "Durchsuchen", um selbst nach der Datei zu suchen." Leider kann ich keine .exe-Datei finden.
Nur eine PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe-Datei, mit der Anmeldungsmöglichkeit zur Registrierung. Photoshop Elements 12 wurde bei der Erstinstallation registriert. Wie kann die Photoshop12.0.exe-Datei installiert werden?

Hier hilft nur eine erneute Neuinstallation.

Der Dienst "SAP Front-End Software Maintenance Service" wurde aufgrund folgenden Fehlers nicht gestartet:
Das System kann den angegebenen Pfad nicht finden. (engl: The Service "SAP Front-End Software Maintenance Service" failed to start due to the following error: The System can not found the Path.)
The LSH User has access on the Share. I have see that in the properties of the Service following Path is: "
Server-Name\Sharename\Setup\IS\NwSapSetupIs.exe". The Directory IS not exist on the Server. What is the function of this Service on the Clients and how do i can resolve the problem?
Patch 10 i cannot install because i have no login in the marktplace.
2 Problem: Another Problem after installation SAP GUI with SAP Installation Server is that the after reboot PC the user lose all domain rights on the PC. I can resolve the Problem with the Program "gpupdate /force" (domain programm). At the next reboot the user have no domain rights. This problem repeats 3 times.
Both problems are urgent!

habe eine SAP Installationsserver (8.0.77) mit Patch 8 incl LSH. Nachdem ich auf denn Clients die Installation durchgeführt habe wird folgende Meldung im Ereignisprotokoll und der PC bleibt nach der Anmeldung ca. 20 Minuten stehn bis er weitermacht:

Der LSH User kann auf die Freigabe zugreifen. Hab mal in den Eigenschaften des Dienstes geschaut, dort ist ein falscher Pfad zu der Datei drin dieser lautet *"
Server-NameFreigabenameSetupISNwSapSetupIs.exe"*. Das Verzeichnis IS gibts auf dem Server nicht. Wozu brauch ich diesen Dienst und wie kann ich das Problem beheben?
Patch 10 kann ich leider nicht installieren da ich leider keine Kennung zum herunterladen habe.

Beim Klicken auf .jpg und .dmg Dateien erscheint neuerdings die Fehlermeldung
'Das Programm kann nicht gestartet werden, da das System nicht kompatibel ist.'
Was bedeutet das?
Ich habe einen Software-Fehler vermutet und versucht, das Proramm SoftwareRestore.pkg von der CD zu benutzen, allerdings startet das Programm nicht (beim Doppelklicken erscheint der aufgehende Rahmen; es passiert aber nichts).
Gute Ratschläge?

(My translation: Program can not be started as the system is not compatible).
What does that mean?
I suspected a software problem and tried to use the SoftwareResore.pkg from the CD, but that does not start (although it pretends).
Good advice?

This got me one step ahead (worked fine on .jpg-file), but the basic problems remain.
(1) When I drag the .dmg files to StuffIt, it gives the error message
"An error has occured attempting to mount a disk image "1015"
Error #1015"
I looked that up in a forum where it said I should repair permissions. I did that, but it did not help; I keep getting the message.
(2) Trying to start AppleWorks I also get an error message

Attention: HPIO Trap Monitor wake issues on Leopard

Guys, I've never had any sleep issues with my Intel iMac before; but it seems like the latest 10.5 updates are NOT compatible with the HPIO Trap Monitor, which is part of the software package installed for HP all-in-one printers on Macs...
In 2 or 3 occasions during the last couple of months, I wasn't able to wake my iMac from sleep, having to resort to a hard reboot. It's nothing with 10.5.7, because this ALSO happened with 10.5.6.

Reinstall the latest HP software. I have no such crashes with my Photosmart 4280 AIO attached to my iMac. Version 2.6.0 runs without issues.
