Licensing Service for Android Apps

Is there a way to implement Google's Licensing Service for Android Apps using Adobe Air? I am using FB 4.6 to develop my App.

You probably need to find an ANE that does this. Quick search returned this dated tutorial, it is probably much easier now a days.

What is the procedure for using Google Play Developer's provided license code (Base64-encoded RSA public key to include in your binary) for an Air for Android app in Flash?
I see the need to load a p12 file and have gone through the process of creating one for Air for iOS with OpenSSL but the Google provided key is in a different format. To start with it is delivered by copy/paste off a webpage.
I am using Flash CS5.5. I could switch to CS6 if neccesary.

You should only need a SIM in it to actually activate it in iTunes. Once activated, leave the SIM in or remove it, it should not matter.
Then, turn on airplane mode. And then, go into wifi settings and re-enable wifi (this leaves the cellular radio in airplane mode = powered off).

AIR for Android app location

I am developing an AIR for Android app. When the app is published, does anyone know where on the phone the app is stored? It would be on the internal memory as the app is never moved to the sd card.
I need to know this as the app exports a pdf file. I am using File.applicationStorageDirectory so the pdf should save in the app directory but I cant find it.
Would the app be stored in the same directory for iOS as well?

I have found the app location and which can be accessed with a rooted phoned.
I also have the pdf saving in the /Local Store/ directory of the app. However, is it possible to save the pdf in the sdcard directory? I have tried a relative path (../../../../../../sdcard) but that didnt work.

Trying to turn on location services for running app, but all app names greyed out and won't change?

Would really appreciate a hand. I'm wanting to track my running using an app which uses GPS to follow my route. The app told me I needed to turn on location services for that app through settings > general > location settings. I can see the names of all the apps there (some set to on, some set to off) going through the privacy menu but everything is greyed out. How do I turn it on?

yep, unfortunately can't reset without the passcode either.
With regards to doing a restore, do you mean:
open itunes on my computer
click on my device on the left
go to the device summary
click restore
it then asks if i want to back up before i restore (to which i say no)
then it asks me if i'm sure I want to restore to factory settings and that all of me media and data will be erased and replaced with the newest version ( to which I say yes)
then it takes about 90 mins to do this but when I look at my phone, everything is exactly the same.
Am I missing something? Obviously I'm technologically challenged, but I HAVE to get to the bottom of this!

Core window for Service for Dsktop Apps

After latest update to Creative Cloud, the following window is displayed after start-up:
I can kill in Task Manager. When I do, services pop-up displays Stopping Service for Desktop Apps. Followed immediately with Starting Service for Desktop Apps. The Core Window does not display this time. Apps and Cloud are fully accesible, but that Core Window is annoying. Has anyone observed this behavior besides me?
64-bit Windows 7

It seems the cloud-window is related to an inconsistency with Apple-Tools (the tools you have with an iphone).
Upon update today I got my "Core"-window again
So its either a bug by Adobe with Apple or vice versa - or so it seems.
Thank you Adobe/Apple for these problems.

Where can I find a license number for an app?

I bought the app Cocktail a while back and I've used it successfully to help keep my MBP running smoothly. But now I need to install the app. I don't want to buy it again and get a new license number. I wrote that single user license number down on a piece of paper but I've lost that information. Is there anywhere in my laptop, maybe hidden in Library or Preferences, where I can find that valid single user license number for Cocktail?

Some apps show the license/registration key in their File > Preferences or File > Registration; if you don't have that, the only thing I can think of is to contact Cocktail and give them your purchase date to see if they can find it in their records.
FWIW, I keep a record of all registration numbers in a safe place (I have 2 pages worth).

AIR for Android App - Video Issue

Hi all,
I've developed a Air for Android application targeted specifically for Samsung N 800.
There is a section in the application that has a list of Thumbnails and the user can click on any thumbnail and Play appropriate video.
When playing the video, there is a Close button and Next / Back buttons available on the screen to handle respective actions.
The issue with the app is that, when the Video is playing, if I hit the Home button available on the Tablet, the app minimises. Now if I maximize the app from the System Tray or reopen the App from the Menu, the video continues to play, but this time the Video overlaps the Close and Next / Back, so the user is not able to close the video what so ever.
The same issue occurs when I access any of the buttons available on the Tablets system bar on the bottom of the screen.
Any help will be much appreciated

I'm not sure if I completely understand you, but if I do, you want to check the Exif info to see how the image is oriented, then rotate it to show it how you want on the screen. Take a look at this post here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/875157 it may help with doing what you need. It's a little tricky and works differently for iOS and Android, but not too hard to figure out. Air for Android app just a black blank screen on emulator.

I'm starting android app development using air for android and I'm encountering the same problem as in this discussion, http://forums.adobe.com/message/4343423.
Followed all the suggested solutions on the above link and nothing is working for me.
Before I started air for android development, I upgraded my air sdk from 2.6 to 3.2, I overlayed the AIR 3.2 SDK in flash following the instructions on this link http://www.flashdeveloper.co/post/20583114199/air32-in-flash-cs-55.
Published my first air for android test app (a simple test app to test swipe gestures) and installed the .apk on the emulator using the command line. When I launched the app on the emulator, it says Adobe AIR runtime is required so I installed the AIR runtime on the emulator using this tutorial http://renaun.com/blog/2010/12/finding-the-air-for-android-emulator-runtime/.
When I thought everything will now work as expected then this problem came up. What do you think is the problem here?
I'm using flash pro cs5.5 on windows 7 64-bit.

Using alternative(anonymous) bex service for web app in portal

We are trying to create a situation where certain web applications that will be rendered in the portal use an anonymus logon as opposed to the standard /sap/bew/bex service. We still wnat to use the standard service for the great majority of the time. However, we have special cases where we want all users to be able to view results of some very specific web applications.
We have created a new service (ZBEXA) by copying the std bex service and entering anonymous logon informatoin. For the most part, this is working fine.
However, we cannot seem to get this working thru the portal without 'hardcoding' the new bex service as part of the URL iview. (i.e. http://..../sap/bw/ZBEXA?....
We do not want to do this, as we want to be able to trnaposrt these iviews between systems. Thus, we want to create them as BW Report iviews (or BEx web application ivews) and use the web aplication query sting in the form of "CMD=LDOC&TEMPLATE_ID=Zxxxxxxxx", thus making it possible to transport this to other portal environments.
We have tried creating a new 'system' in the portal for the BW instance and changing the WAS path to /spa/bw/zbexa, but this does not change the behavior. Seems the system always wants to use std bex service.
Any ideas?
BTW - we are on NW2004s EP (sp8?) and BW3.5.

I am trying to do bypass the login for a web template by programming the ZBEX web service with a logon and password and it is not working for me. If you are still using a solution like that, post a reply and I can ask specific questions.

Single License Removal for CC Apps

Is there a single place I can go to turn off my license on a particular cmputer prior to haveing it serviced by apple? They will most likely erase the hard drive as part of their fixes and I will need to reinstall the CC apps on it again when it returns from the Apple store. Or is my only option removing all the apps so the license becomes available again for this machine. This is machine #1 of 2 containing my licensed CC apps.

Once you will Sign Off from the CC app, it will deactivate all the applications and then you can uninstall from the computer. To deactivate any product you can click on the product and then go to Help> Deactivate.

Invalid extension descriptor - Licensing AIR for Android devices

I'm trying to do licensing app according to this article http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/articles/android-licensing-native-extensions.html.
If i try to generate the ANE file in ADT command prompt then displays this error - Invalid extension descriptor: extension.xml
My file extension.xml I copied the whole of the AIR 3.1 SDK.
