Lied to and treated bad by a customer service. Please someone from Comcast contact me

First I had a guy named George from West Palm Beach, Fla. tells me lies and I got no where with. Then I get transferred to Qween Sheba who lies badly and says her name is Sondra and got nothing but lies and snoody remarks she was very slow and hard to understand and after she hung up on me I knew my time was short with Xfinity. I will be getting one of the dish networks very soon along with another phone service and internet service....then be placing all their stuff in a box out on the front porch and calling them to come get it.

Thing is, they won't come and get the equipment. Sure they will bring it to you, but you have to physically take it back. They will charge you a rediculous amount of money for their equipment if you don't. Besides, I like the idea of facing their employees and telling them what I think about Comcast TOO THEIR FACE!! I noticed that my area are hiring all kinds of new people to work for them as of late. They just hired a bunch of new people not long ago. That tells me that their employees are probably treated like cr#p or they are tired of taking the heat from customer disatisfaction or both!!! Comcast is one of the most wicked corrupt monopolies in the U.S. I hope our government will break them up, but if not, then I hope everyone will quit them and find something else. There is still free antena tv. I am in process of switching over and living with less channels than paying ridiculous raised prices. Plus there is netflex and other ones like it and tv on internet also! So long Comcast and kiss my a*%!!

    Then the employees, and you, don't understand EDGE.  It's not a service plan, it's a PAYMENT option to pay the full price of the phone in installments, and have no "contract" or obligation  to stay with Verizon once the phone is paid for, which you can do at any time.  So if you were trying to get discounted pricing, and the reps were talking EDGE, you were talking at cross purposes....
    In order to get the upgrade pricing, you need to sign a contract for 2 years of service, and agree to an ETF if you leave Verizon before the two years.

    I would like to share with community and SKYPE my not so recent chatandvision experience.
    I have purchased Skype phone from chatandvision, which is basically link from skype shop but transaction handled by chatandvision and not Skype.
    Purchase was done on 31st of January. On 18th of February I contacted chatandvision for tracking number as order did not arrive.
    Despite clear writing on chatandvision site that orders shipped via trackable service this is reply I got:
    Dear Alex,
    Sorry to hear you have not received your package.
    We can confirm that the order has been sent via Airmail Postage from Hong Kong on the 4 February so you should receive it soon. Airmail service distribution is similar to that of HK Post. This type of delivery service has no tracking number yet hope that any delay is minimal.
    Normally, orders leaving Hong Kong, deliveries via Airmail Postage mail are generally 7 to 10 business days.
    But please note that the delivery time may vary and can take a little longer subject to local customs. Sometimes it can take up to 14-21 working days for your package to reach your destination. 
    We thank you for your patience with this issue.

    With this service and attitude it’s surprising they are still in business, or perhaps they are in business because they just take your money and do not care afterwards.

  • I have a disclaimer that says my Adobe Flash Player is out of date and needs to be updated.  I have been trying to figure this out for 2 days, which is a waste of time, and I chatted with Adobes Customer Service department who said they can't help me

    because it is a free application.  They referred me to the Forum (which I have tried many times) but to me that is like a dog trying to chase the tail.  I am very upset because I cannot get You Tube nor can I listen to music.  This may seem trite but it is not trite to me.  I pay monthly for the use of CC Photoshop and Lightroom.  I will not give them anymore money for other software as they do not offer excellent customer service.  I am a consumer and should be treated with business sense.   Adobe keeps making a ton of money and gets away with it.  They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life.  Shame on Adobe.  I will not use the Forum for assistance. They should be paying us for learning an IT job.  Obviously, Adobe is self centered because they don't consider that maybe we all have a life and cannot worship Adobe.@

    I had been getting those notices for months, I finally broke down and hit the button to automatically upgrade. I was flooded with offers of new services from $10. to $49. per month - and my audio/video for Facebook, NYT and NPR are "blocked" with the advice to "upgrade " my Adobe Flash Player - for which there does not seem to be any customer support. My advice is to skip the "upgrading" if your computer works;I do not know what to do now . .  .

  • Treated with disrespect by customer service then accused of fishing for discounts.

    So I called verizon wireless customer service to upgrade a phone on the 30th of Sept. and was told by the representative that it would be no problem and that about 6 months ago I was disrespected by another rep so they told me I would receive a $50 rebate on my next upgrade. Well they tried not to honor that rebate and accuse me of trying to fish for rebates and discounts which first off I feel is very disrespectful to say to a loyal customer since 2007. I then had a phone stolen awhile back so I suspended it because I was grand fathered in to the unlimited data and wanted to keep it so I kept paying for the line to keep the unlimited data then get informed I wont get unlimited data once I upgrade my phone that was stolen because they don't offer that no more. I was never informed of that or I would have just dropped the line so I didn't pay for it since february. I did get alittle upset but I did apologize and then asked to escalate the call to someone higher because I felt I should have been informed of this so I wasn't paying for a phone that wasn't even being used, but instead of the rep escalating the call he hung up on me which really upset me. I called the next day Oct. 1st and explained what had happened the day before and all they wanted to do was to tell me to basically get over it they are sry. Well I asked to speak to a supervisor and actually got connected to one instead of hung up on and she apologized and offered me some free minutes which I did appreciate but I have 1400 mins a month and only use about 700 so I asked if they could do something different because that wouldn't help me out at all that would have been totally pointless. Well that supervisor said she would call me back the same day and never did so I called back at ten because I know customer service closes at 11pm est. Obviously the supervisor knew one of their reps were disrespectful to me that's why she offered me the minutes. Well after calling back I was told I was just fishing for discounts and rebates. I told the supervisor to go back through the notes and see if I have ever received a rebate or discount or credit that I didn't deserve because they way I was treated by their employees. He told me that he would not offer me anything but an apology for being disrespected and taking days to try to get and upgrade that I would just have to deal with it cause he felt I was fishing. I've been a loyal customer for almost 6 yrs and recommend verizon to everyone but the way I have been getting treated lately is causing me to want to switch to AT&T which they told me they would match everything verizon offers me and unlimited data if I switched but I turned them down cause verizon has always taken care of me. Now My wife wants the upgrade for free cause the way we were treated the past few days but I felt that was too much to ask so I asked for $100 rebate on my upgrade instead since im losing my unlimited data and ive been paying for a suspend phone since Feb. I didn't feel that was too unreasonable. I that got too frustrated and gave up and just ordered the new phone at normal 2 yr price but verizon is putting a hold on my order and still hasnt called me back about what they are going to do about how ive been treated and everything im losing and all the wasted money ive spent thinking I was getting to keep unlimited data. I don't feel I was fishing for anything or asking for anything unreasonable still no phone calls about what's going on, their is a hold on my upgrade after I have already paid for it and my wife needs it by when the ship date says it will be here cause she is switching from att to verizon but has her att phone sold Friday but has to have her new phone by then cause she is a nurse and needs her phone for when she is on call and verizon is screwing with our jobs now. I feel I should be compensate for the way this loyal customer has been treated but with something that I can actually use instead of minutes I don't need especially when I know the reps can giv up to $500 credits and all I asked for was an extra $50 on top of the other $50 for being disrespected before. and I also want my new phone here by Thursday when I ordered it Monday.

    Cliff Notes Version: (assuming male from name, apologies if wrong)
    1) He has been a loyal customer since 2007 (must be loyal, mentioned several times)
    2) 6 months ago he was disrespected by a service rep and apparently told he would receive a $50 rebate on next upgrade
    3) When he tried to upgrade recently, they didn't want to honor the rebate and disrespected him again!!!!!
    4) He had a phone stolen in Feb, and because he wanted to keep unlimited data, he continued to pay the plan (not clear if he understands that he would have to pay an ETF if he didn't)
    5) He now finds that Verizon won't let him keep unlimited if he upgrades at a discount, so he feels 4) was a waste.
    6) After more complaints, supervisor offers him more minutes, which is useless as he doesn't use anything near his allowance
    7) He wants a $100 rebate
    8) He is a loyal customer, but is talking to AT&T who will apparently match his unlimited.
    And we didn't get to the $30 upgrade fee.

  • MiFi 2200 is junk  and so is verizon's customer service

    I bought a Verizon MiFi 2200 and when I was talking to a version salesman in the store he assured me I would have signal at my house and it would work. He promised me if it did not work and I did not use very much internet and I returned the mifi within 30 days I would not be charged anything, even the restocking fee. Well I took it home, plugged the mifi into my laptop and it started to download the software and within 1 minute my laptop smoked (I mean smoke came out of it). I don’t know if it had anything to do with the mifi or not. So I hooked it up to one of my desktops and took me 3 days to get it to connect (after I talked to Verizon via the telephone, they told me a tower was 4 miles from my house and I should have no problems connecting to it. They also said the tower was to the west of me) So I went and got a 25 foot USB extension cable and put the mifi in a western window and finally got it to connect and I activated it. I then disconnected the usb and hooked it up to my desktop wireless and tried to open msn.com and after 1 minute half the page appeared, I moved it around the house and tried with no luck. I have the device on for about 5, 10 minutes max and decided it was not going to work. So I took it back to the Verizon store where I bought it and returned it with no problems (I did not have to pay the restocking fee). As part of the return I talked to Verizon on the phone to cancel the service and the agent on the phone said it was all good. The salesman even said we were good so I assumed we were good. Until today I get a past due notice for $235.00 from Verizon (which I only bought the mifi the 5 of dec 2010 which isn’t even 30 days as of yet, so how is my first bill past due?) so I get on the phone and after about 20 minutes they took off the $175.00 early termination fee and said I used 2mb of service so I owe them $60.00. That is **bleep**.  Only having the mifi hooked up for no longer then 10 minutes and not being able to open up even 1 full page how did I use 2mb of service. Anyway I had problems with Verizon about 5 years ago and left them for AT&T and have been happy. I was stupid thinking version changed they are a very bad company to deal with and the mifi is a piece of junk.

    This sounds unusual even for Verizon.
    There is still options for you though.
    Contact Customer Service again and ask for a supervisor.... explain the billing situation, in a (forced) calm voice, and ask for a credit to your billing. I was able to work with Verizon on many billing issues and have been able to resolve them to my satisfaction. (billed for text messaging on a data modem several years ago)

  • Zen Touch and Rhapsody to Go...Customer Service v. D

    I recently bought and returned two CZ micros, both developed firmware problems. Kinda dissillusioned--a bright spot--absolutley top notch customer service. Then I went to Dell for a DJ 20, had a few problems and going through their customer sevice was quite an adventure. CZ was so great about my problems that I thought, well, lets give it one more shot, so I've bought a CZ touch. My question--when I get it will I need to do firmware upgrades to get on to Rhapsody to Go, as I did w/ the micro. Once again, customer (and tech, too) support has brought me back!

    First off the Zen Touch does not have the firmware update to support Rhapsody To Go, or any subscription services. So your out of luck right there.
    And yes I know first hand how Dell can be with their customer service, I have read many complaints and many positi've things, its just like any company really....

    Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.
    Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

  • Poor Customer Service -- Can Someone Help?

    I have been on the phone with Verizon Customer Service collectively (after talking to 4 people) for a total of 3+ hours and still no resolution . Apparently Verizon has no call center to call center interaction. I spoke with a representative who made some commitments and received supervisor approval but no one can seem get the replacement phone from the warehouse to my house.
    Does anyone have a corporate number ...Not another Call Center. where I can call and make a formal complaint. I have been a Verizon Customer since 2008 and my frustration with this company over the last 3 weeks is over the top.
    I have went 3 weeks without substantial phone service but because I'm just an insignificant little customer. I guess one really is the loneliest number.

    There are NO advantages to buying phones from carrier anymore. I know people will tell you that you get a discounted price by buying it from Verizon/Sprint/AT&T etc, but then the question is discount off of what price? The retail prices are set by the carrier and set to inflated prices to make it look like you are getting a discount. Also, even if you get an actual discount at this time (for example, GS3 can be had for $200 while retail for GS3 unlocked GSM version can run $600+), you are paying a premium with the monthly service charges and and end up paying more for the same phone after two years. Carriers DO NOT lose one penny on handsets even when they sell at $0, because they more than make up in the 24 months you will be paying them.
    So, if not price, why buy phones from them? The warranty service is nice - you walk up to a store and they replace the phone right there if the phone is under warranty - WAIT, not anymore. Now you mail your phone and engage in a marathon praying session hoping you won't see a $300 charge for "corroded charging contacts" or $600-$700 for missing phone that they have already received. On top of that the phones are BLOATED with unnecessary apps, proprietary software and an update schedule that is non-existent.
    Moral of the story - BUY YOUR PHONE DIRECTLY FROM MANUFACTURER and use it with a compatible carrier. Leave the carrier out of your phones all together.

  • Dissapointing Customer Service, Please Pass This On

    Pretty upset right now.  I have switched from Aperture to Lightroom this year.  I have used Version 2 and LR3 Beta for 6 months now.  I have been looking forward to the full release like everyone else.
    Needless to say I was extactic when Terry White posted last night that the upgrade would be available today.
    So I grabed the trial version this morning with the intent of paying tonight, which I did.
    I recieved an email that directed me to the download site where I was supposed to download and get a serial number.  No Serial Number!
    So that page told me to call Customer Service, which I did at 6:45 only to be put on hold until 7 pm when I was transferred and disconnected.
    Not happy! ! !
    So I contact the chat link only to find out that I should recieve another email in 24 hours with a serial number.
    How such a great product have such terrible Customer Service.
    This whole situation stinks and I am really ticked.
    Anyone else?

    There are already a few earlier threads on this topic.  You might want to read them for the details.  Apparently, Adobe's servers that deliver the serial numbers are backlogged for a day or so.  No worries though.  You can use the free 30-day trial until your serial numbers arrive.  They are the exact same program.  In fact you just enter your shiny new serial number into the trial after your serial number arrives and you are good-to-go.  Most likely everything will be fine without you having to do anything more.  Maybe if you haven't received your serial number in a couple of weeks you can contact Adobe.  Things should be back to normal by then.

  • *sigh* My phone has become PUK locked and I have no idea how. PLEASE someone helpe me.

    As the title states, my Droid 2 Global has become Pin Unlock Code locked and I'm not sure how. I was going through the process of locking it, and the screen went black halfway through the process and locked itself.
    So, I called Verizon...
    They said my only choice is to take it to a store to fix it. The closest store is a 2-hour drive and I won't be able to get there until about 6 days from the writing on this post. Does anyone have any ideas of how to fix it? I tried the last 4 digits of my number, and "40" as the customer service lady suggested, but nothing has worked. I don't know that I can do witihout a phone for a week lol.

    Well, I looked through the forums and found a thread where someone else had the same exact problem. So, I called the number given and was walked through a solution
