Lightroom desktop not syncing with mobile

Hi,
I'm having a similar problem to others here, where Lightroom desktop is not syncing with mobile. My iPhone and iPad are syncing with each other OK - photos I take on the phone are showing up on the iPad, and a collection I created on the iPad has synced to the phone. If I go to my desktop PC and go Help > View Your Synced Collections on the Web I can see both collections. But neither collection is downloading to my PC, and the collections I've marked for sync on my PC are not uploading to my devices or the web.
I had previously (a couple of months ago) synced a collection from the desktop to the iPad but changes to it had stopped syncing. I've tried deleting all the data through the desktop preferences (which did remove the existing collections), and I've tried deleting the sync.lrdata folder.

Thanks for the tip, but it didn't work.
I moved a few images in the collections that were synced = nothing has changed.
I've deleted the new collection that I was still trying to sync (with still the "Syincing 30 photos over the identity plate... it seems to be stuck to 30!). Remember, that new collection was not showing in Lr Mobile, even though 89 photos were supposed to be sync...
I've deleted - again - the sync.lrdata file = didn't work.
I "Clear Cache" in the Lr Mobile = didn't work
I deleted the Lr Mobile app on my iPad = didn't work either. I had guessed so since it was still the same in Adobe Lightroom.
I've stopped in Lr Desktop all the sync in collections that were synced. So, in theory, there is no more images being synced. I've even deleted (again!) the sync.lrdata file. Deleted (again) the Lr Mobile app. And guess what?... Nah... it didn't work!
I do see in the Lr Desktop, in the left panel in the Library Module : "All synced Photographs : 0". But I still see 3 collections with all the photos (even the deleted ones from previous days) in the Lr Mobile.
It seems that the photos are "stuck" that way in Abode cloud and cannot be changed one way or the other. Cannot delete images nor collection. Cannot add new collections. Cannot move images.
Now, I am short of ideas what to do next. Delete my Adobe account? :-)))

Finally figured it out. Assuming you have the latest software and trouble syncing iphone ical, desktop ical and mobile me ical:
1.Inputing an entry in either one of the tree does not automatically insure syncing across. You have to remember to tell the device how to share the info:
-Mobile me entry (you are inputing data in your mobile me account when you are away from your desktop and phone, like using someone else's computer). After you make an ical entry make sure you check "entourage" and the entry will be synced across devices.
Desktop computer entry. After you enter the data make sure you check the entourage option on the me.com
-iphone: after you input the data check the entourage on the mobile me. Also uncheck all the .cal.com
2. This takes care of all the sync problems for ical and I suspect contacts. Don't go to draconian measures like re-installs and all the stuff I read here without first trying this.
3. Finally, familiarize yourself with the dashboard of iTune when you plug in your phone. There are a few tabs in there like "summary" and "info" that allow you to control data.
In conclusion, I really wish Apple would have covered this on this site or on various manuals. I feel mobile me is not held to the same high standards that Apple requires and I've been an Apple fanatic and advocate since 1983.

Outlook will not sync with mobile me

I am running Windows Vista, upgraded to the latest itunes and trying to get my outlook contacts and calendars to sync with mobile me. I have selected the correct options in Mobile Me on my Vista machine and the sync confirms that is was successful however, nothing has appeared on Mobile Me web.
Interesting, is if I add contacts to mobile me via the web, the page refreshes and it deletes anything new I have added.
I did get the common error dotmacsyncclient stopped working but it appears to be running ok but nothing is getting sync'd. I did select to sync information on my PC to Mobile Me as opposed to Mobile me to my PC but still nothing is happening.
Is this a know bug or what is the solution as currently I have lost every contact on my iPhone because of this problem.

On your iPhone, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Select your MobileMe account.
Turn Calendars off for over the air syncing.
A warning message will be provided indicating this will delete all calendars and calendar events from your iPhone. You should also be provided a prompt to save the data locally on your iPhone. If so, save this data locally.
Follow this by turning Calendars back on for over the air syncing. You should be provided a merge prompt which you want to select.
Test if this resolves it.

Entries on desktop iCal do not sync with mobile devices.

I am running OSX 10.7.3 on my 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 iMac. iPhone running 5.1.1
Starting recently, entries I make on my desktop iCal do not sync thru the Cloud to the browser iCloud Calendar or my iPhone Calendar or my IPad Calendar.
My email, my Contacts sync just fine.
An iCal entry on my iPhone will sync with all mobile devices and the Cloud browser but do not sync to the iMac. In fact, all transactions from any mobile device and browser based Cloud all sync just fine between devices and iMac. All but the iCal transactions. They do not sync to the iMac or from the iMac

First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

Will not sync with Mobile Me ???????????

Signed up for the trial version of Mobile Me. Worked great the first day, today not working.
I put a test event in calendar and a test phone number last night at my home when I got to the office this morning neither had synced. I have been at the office now about an hour or more and they still have not synced…
I have it set for syncing every 30 minutes.
Any suggestions on what might be going on…

same problem. won't sync between Address Book on MBP and mobileme or to my ipod touch (which makes sense since it connects to mobile me also) I'm tired of updating so many contacts in multiple places though.

ICal not syncing with Mobile Me

I subscribed to two calendars - US Holidays & an astrological sign calendar. The astrological sign one errored out and even though I deleted it, it still pops up as an error asking me to Revert to Server or Go Offline. If I Revert to Server, it just keeps coming back. If I go offline, it goes away for a while. Now when I add an event on my calendar, it doesn't sync to mobile me or ipad. Anyone have any ideas?

Try refreshing the the com.apple.iCal.plist file. You will find the com.apple.iCal.plist file in the Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder. Quit iCal, drag the com.apple.iCal.plist file to your Desktop, log out/in or restart.

IPhone 4 contacts do not sync with Mobile Me

For some reason there is a small piece of syncing that is not working. My contacts and calender events sync from my iMac to MobileMe to my iPhone perfectly. However, when I enter contacts in my iPhone they do not sync to MobileMe or the iMac. The Calender events work, but not the contacts. I have searched many other posts, but I cannot seem to find how to get thie fixed. Any thoughts? Thanks

Branch Office - Not syncing with Mobile server

Hi All,
I have a strange problem with brach office installation ,
After downloading brachoffice set up on to my system from mobile server and completing set up ..
I can see any tables . . is there any other steps I have to follow?

Can you check your sync log for errors? If there is nothing listed, please redo the 1st sync and check the logs again.

Since I downloaded lion my calendar does not sync with mobile me. What do I do?

My calendar sync's from Mobile Me to my Iphone (3g) but not from my phone to Mobile Me or to my IMAC. On my IMAC, I've gone to Mobile Me in the preferences and the sync options DO NOT include "calendar". On my phone I have made sure that the Mobile Me calendars are checked (so that I see them on my Iphone.) The default calendar on my IPhone is the phone's calendar. Have I put in the right settings?

You don't sync the MM calendar anymore, you subscribe to it in iCal,
iCal>Preferences>Accounts, enter the details here.
MM should be the default calendar on all clients.

After upgrading to OSX Mavericks, my Contacts app on my desktop not syncing with iCloud and changes I make on my iDevices are not being updated through system.

In the desktop Contacts apps, there is an error icon always present (since the upgrade) in the upper left hand quadrant of the app window. When I click on it I get an error msg. See Screen grab below.

"On my phone" by definition doesn't sync. You need to move it to an iCloud group. Unfortunately, the Contacts app on the iPhone doesn't have this capability. There are 3rd party apps that let you move contacts from one group to another. Speed Names is a good choice, and inexpensive.

Cannot delete the checkbox for Master Password - desktop synced with mobile device - is the password for that what is needed on the desktop?

Re-installed Firefox 4 recently after initial problems with Rapport software. Now get a box to enter a master password to proceed - just close it but it is annoying. Visited Options and under Security unchecked the Master Password box but another warning box appears and when this is closed the Master Password box is re-checked. I have never created a Master Password. My desktop is synced with my mobile device and I have a password for that - is this the master password? If not, what other options are there for stopping this box appearing when Firefox is activated?

The name and password for Firefox Sync and the Sync key are stored in the Password Manager.<br />
So if you use Sync then you will get a Master Password prompt the first time that Sync wants to connect to the Sync server.

Probably because you did not tell the iPod to sync the calendar in iTunes.

Centro will not sync with Palm desktop - Calendar and/or Contacts

I have used a Palm device for many years. Acquired a new Centro. Upon installation of Palm Desktop (on Windows XP) that came with Centro, all contacts, calendar, to do, memos, etc transferred to the Centro during installation.
Subsequent changes to contacts and/or calendar on Centro are not syncing with Palm desktop when Hot Sync is performed. Hot Sync starts and appears to complete normally. To Do list and memos appear to sync just fine. Have tried changing conduits to have Centro overwrite desktop. Have uninstalled/reinstalled Desktop many times.

I have a Centro/Verizon Wireless using Versamail with accounts established for personal POP and Exchange e-mail synchronization. The latter account is for work. Previously I owned a Treo 650p using Versamail.
When I first installed Palm OS Desktop and synched to my Centro device, it was on a Windows XP home computer, and no Versamail accounts were defined. First I downloaded and installed the Versamail version which allowed Exchange synchronization. I exported the Treo650p contacts list to a disk file, and imported it onto the Windows XP home computer into the Palm OS Desktop installed with the Centro-supplied CD. This synched the imported contacts list to the Centro fine. After I defined all the POP and Exchange accounts, synchronization with the office Exchange contacts list worked fine, and still does. Synchronization with the windows XP home computer for contacts seems to still be ok, too regardless of the MS Exchange Versamail account commingling with my personal POP accounts. Maybe the install sequence is overriding the previous posts' notation that MS Exchange mail definition will override synch with Palm OS Desktop?
The problem now is I have a different/second home computer that's Vista os. I installed the Palm OS Desktop and synch with the Treo. The contacts list is not synching to this second home computer, maybe because I didn't follow the exact same sequence as for the Windows XP pc? I can still synch my Centro with my Windows XP pc and that includes contacts.
Is there a way on this second pc to override the MS Exchange contacts override for synchronization without having to go through the exact same install sequence as occurred on the Windows XP machine?
