Lightroom "Edit In" Feature not sending to Outside Editors

Hi,
I ran into a problem today with my Lightroom to Photoshop connection (which extends to other editing programs as well). I have the most up-to-date Lightroom (5.7) and the most up-to-date Photoshop CC 2014 (2014.2.1); I tried to send a photo to Photoshop for editing and nothing happened (same with all my external editors). I read up on similar experiences on the adobe forum and the recent advisory regarding this issue (which doesn't apply as it already is the latest version of PS). So I uninstalled Photoshop, then reinstalled per the recommendations I had read. Nothing changed. So I uninstalled PS (including my old CS4 version), Bridge, and Lightroom. Then reinstalled Lightroom. Tried to export to my other editing software and it wouldn't work. I then uninstalled the additional editing software and reinstalled PS. Lightroom still won't export. I am not sure what to now... I could uninstall everything but that is a heck of a pain... Any other suggestions or others running into this issue?

Thank you everyone for your idea. I did try wait longer to see if the image would load to PS. Still nothing after 5 mins. I also tried with PS already open and still didn't work. Reset the warning dialog, and still nothing... However! You ideas got me thinking and I decided to try to use the edit in function on an image that was not edited in Lightroom... low and behold it came right up in PS. So I went to a new image, did a fast edit, then tried to send to PS and wouldn't work. So for some reason PS is not accepting a Lightroom edit... I do remember a dialog box a while ago regarding if I want to render from lightroom or use original image etc... But I cannot find that reset in the preferences as that is the only thing I can think of... Any ideas where to look for that? Reset warnings didn't bring that box up with I tried the newest send to PS.

When i right-click on a photo in Lightroom, the "Edit In Adobe Photoshop" command in the context menu is grayed out. Also, the same command under the Photo menu is grayed out, and in the External Editor tab of the Preferences the upper box is labeled "Edit in Photoshop (Not Found)".
The Adobe Technote was not very helpfull. Both Solutions did not work.

I removed the com.adobe.PhotoshopElements.plist file.
I reinstalled Photoshop Elements.
Has anybody else this Problem?
Is there another Workarround?

Thank you for your reply. Yes there is another Menue-Entry in the context-Menue "open in other Application..." but its also grayed out, even if i have installed PSE or not. That makes no Sense for me.
Hmm... Elements isnt PS, but adobe says that i can use PhotoshopElements and PS with Lightroom in similar manner:

EDIT: I have also removed lightrooms plist file, with no effect.

"Edit Content" feature not working

A bit of background: I own and operate a meal planning service. I use a combination of MS Office (Word, Power Point, and Excel) and Acrobat XI Pro to create my meal plans. I create the template designs in MS Office, then I convert them to PDF in Acrobat Pro to add form fields, formulas, etc so my clients can customize their meal plans based on serving size and nutritional requirements. In Acrobat Pro, I use Edit Content feature to change non-customizable information (like recipe title, instructions etc.). This program has definitely has its drawbacks and is infuriating to use about 85% of the time, but I chose to stick with it because it's free and widely available to my clients.
So here's my problem: I redesigned some of those templates in MS Office over the last few days, and tried to convert them to PDF as usual. Although I can add and edit form fields, the Edit Content feature no longer seems to be working. Acrobat will not highlight text or objects, nor will it allow me to add text. When I try to add text, the cursor blinks and moves, but the text field appears blank. I've double and triple checked fonts, colors, sizes, etc and nothing seems to be out of order. All of the fonts and colors I use are embedded in my PDF document. I made sure I have the most updated version of Acrobat, and tried restarting the program and my computer multiple times. Nothing seems to work. I can still edit and add text on the PDF documents I created last week, but not on the documents I've created over the past 2 days.
I'm working on Mac OSX (10.7.5) if that makes any difference. Any insight on this issue is much appreciated! I will try to call Adobe tech support in the meantime, but thought I'd put this question out here in case it might help anyone else. Thanks in advance.

Just so everyone knows, I was on hold with Adobe tech support for ALMOST TWO HOURS despite the 2-minute wait time they estimated at the beginning of my call. I really don't know how else to describe how I feel, except:
Clearly Adobe gives zero f*cks, even though I pay $40 per month for the creative cloud membership.
Adobe, if you were a person (which you are, because now corporations are people in the USA), I would wish upon you the most severe case of herpes-slash-genital-rot the world has ever seen. I hope that the discomfort of this particular ailment results in your inability to participate in even the shortest meetings or conference calls, due to the fiery burning pain in your nether regions. Then perhaps maybe a more competent and ethical software company could assume your role in the marketplace.
I will be especially amused if an Adherpe forum moderator has time to delete my post and/or ban me forever from the Adobe community, given that a tech support person has no time to answer my call. The plot thickens.

Exchange 2010 does not send mail outside the organization

I have an issue with my Exchange 2010 server and the issue is that I cannot send messages outside the organization. There are lot of posts regarding this issue, but in my case the issue is a little bit different and I didn't find an answer. There is properly
configured send connector, DNS records are OK, external domain is properly configured, all Exchange services are started. The server is running on VM with 4 virtual CPUs, 32GB of RAM. When I send a message to ouside domain the message is not delivered.
I have enabled protocol logging (SMTP logging) and there are no records in the log. What I found is that when I reboot the server, immediately after restart I am able to send an email to outside domain, few minutes later the messages, addressed to the
same outside domain are not being delivered.
The VM is created on LUN, presented from storage Fujitsu Eternus DX90S2, communication between the storage and the host is through iSCSI, all the disks on the storage are 2TB, SATA, 7200rpm.
I can't explain to myself what is going on.

This error states that It tried to connect to the target system but failed to connect out.
Is Exchange 2013 server added in the firewall rule to send communication over port 25?
Do you have use Front end proxy checkbox checked on the Send connector to internet that was created on 2013 (if created)?
If use front end proxy checkbox is checked, then you need to add permissions for your CAS server's IP in the Firewall for outbound port 25 rule. As it appears that the mail is originating from CAS to the firewall. If that checkbox is not checked, we need
to add the Mailbox server's IP on the outbound rule for port 25.

Lightroom edit in Photoshop not working

I have Lightroom 4 and 5. I also have Photoshop cs6 and CC. Iv tried all combonations beetween the four. Lightroom has the option of edit in photoshop available, but does not do anything when i click on it. If photoshop is not running, the comand launches photoshop, but thats it. the immage wont open, and when photoshop us running in the background nothing at all happenes. this issue started last week, but to the best of my knowladge nothing on the computer has changed since before that.

If configuring it as above didn't work, did you by chance, after doing the upgrade, remove an earlier adobe product? This often happens when people upgrade by installing CS5 and LR, then uninstall CS4, for example. You need to (easiest way) reinstall CS5 and LR should be able to see it.
There are other threads in the archive about it..
If, of course you haven't uninstalled anything, then there are other remedies in the archives as well (including a registry update method).

"Edit templates" feature not working properly for web apps in Dreamweaver CS6?

This is along with the web apps tag list not appearing in the Data tab of the Business Catalyst side palette.
However, it works fine with the existing announcement module.
Is this feature unavailable for use with web apps, or am I doing something wrong?

We have a bug that prevents correct web app matching if the web app name contains ' ' (space), + (plus), '(', ')', '[', ']' .
In order to work around the bug please remove space, plus or parentheses from the webapp name.

Lightroom edited photo will not open in Photoshop CS5

Can someone help please.
Just upgraded my mac to Yosemite and since then, having problems with using edit in Photoshop function from Lightroom. Have Lightroom Version 4.4 and Photoshop CS5
Any ideas?

LR5.5 Edit in feature not working

I open my RAW files in LR and do my basic edits. Once I am done, I usually select about 5 at a time, right click, select edit in - Photoshop CC 2014. Well, it isn't working anymore. This is what happens... I right click, hit edit in - photoshop CC 2014 and PS opens but the pictures don't. Anyone have a solution to this??

We have a bug that prevents correct web app matching if the web app name contains ' ' (space), + (plus), '(', ')', '[', ']' .
In order to work around the bug please remove space, plus or parentheses from the webapp name.

How can I save an image in a pdf that can not be removed using 'Edit Object' feature in Acrobat X?

I have a pdf that has an image of a seal contained it it. I'd like to send the document out to other people but don't want them to be able to remove the seal using the 'Edit Object' feature under 'Tools' in Adobe Acrobat X. Can someone tell me how to do this please? Thanks in advance!

Apply a security policy that prevents editing. This is not a 100%
fool-proof protection, though, but it will work in Acrobat.

Multiple Edits in Photoshop not saving into Lightroom?

In Lightroom 3 I was able to edit in Photoshop, save the file, then make another edit in photoshop and save it under a different name, and that file would also show up in Lightroom.
For example;
in Lightroom I select "Image 1" and select edit in photoshop,
I edit this in photoshop and save.
Lightroom shows "Image 1-edit"
I make another edit and select "Save As" and save it as "Image 1 Alternate".
"Image 1 Alternate" shows up in Lightroom next to "Image 1-edit"
This does not appear to be happening with Lightroom 4. Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere?

I'm assuming here that you are using Photoshop CS5.x and the current version of Camera Raw? If so, this is as expected...LR4 is using a pipeline that will match up to ACR 7 when it's released.
As it is now, LR4 must actually do the processing prior tp sending it to Photoshop. LR4 also has to save the file on disk prior to sending it to Photoshop.
If you were using ACR 7 in CS6 then ACR would actually be doing the processing and the behavior of this way of opening in Photoshop does NOT have to save the file prior to sending it to Photoshop. When ACR does the opening, you can do a Save or a Save As and Lightroom will know about those saves. Pretty LR4 doesn't know where the Save As file goes to and that's why it isn't showing up.
The two basic behaviors; LR synced with ACR and LR not synced with ACR goes back to version 2 (I think). It's a limitation in LR when LR and ACR aren't in sync.

How are you doing the Save in PS, using Save or Save As—one will show up, one won’t, I think, but I don’t remember which.

What I would like to do is to use Lightroom as I have been doing with LR 5.7. Tag certain images to be shared to the Creative Cloud which my editor can then see and tag as to which she would like to see final versions of. In the best case, I would then see these tags and edit the images as appropriate and save the JPEGs back to the Cloud where she can download them for final production.
Possible?
