Limiting numerical (integer) entries to between 1 and 5

Question

I am creating a form to allow ratings on many topics. Each rating must be an integer between 1-5. I know how to limit the entries to integers. I have also set the field length to one character(so only the numbers 0-9 are accepted), but cannot figure out how to limit the acceptable entries to only 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Try the following code...may have to tweak little to suite your situation... Following JavaScript code I used in change event of the text field to limit the entries to characters 0 through 9 and length not to exceed 5 digits.
