Link is not recognizing my Z-10 on two different computers

My two PCs are not recognizing my Z-10 when connected by the cable and only one is recognizing it in wireless. Have deleted and reinstalled Link and even did the new upgrade and results are the same

Thats weird, you will have to uninstall the blackberry drivers on your computer and reinstall them.

  • Downloading songs from two different computers, and not recognizing songs

    On my home computer, I downloaded about 40 songs onto my IPod from CDs. Then, I installed the program on my work computer, and purchased four songs from ITunes. When I plug my IPod into my work computer, it is not recognizing the songs I downloaded from my home computer. However, if I plug my IPod into my work computer, I can listen to these four purchased songs, but once I try to listen to them without having it plugged into my work computer, only the songs I downloaded from home are on the IPod.
    Has this happened to anyone else who has tried to put songs from two different computers onto their IPod?

    Just to elaborate a bit, you need to copy the purchased files and put them on your home computer.
    Don't burn them as an audio CD as you will lose quality when you re-import them.
    You can use the Shuffle (instead of a CD) to do this

    I have a sole i-pod and two pc's, used the instructions for "iTunes for Windows: Moving your iTunes Media folder" in the hope that I could synch my one i-pod between two different computers that are sharing the same library. Is it possible to have two seperate computers that only share an external hard drive (one wireless, one not) ? When I am looking at a shared library should it appear the same on both machines (ie: playlists/ purchased list etc)?

    If it is moved correctly, playlists will display on both computers and it should be possible.
    Close iTunes.
    Hold <SHIFT> and launch iTunes.
    When prompted to create a new or open an existing iTunes library point iTunes to the iTunesLibrary.itl file on the external drive.
    The entire library should now show up with all playlists and playcounts.
    Do this on both computers.
    Keep in mind that only one computer can access iTunes at a time, otherwise errors will occur when each computer attempts to write to or update the iTunesLibrary.itl file.
    Syncing may work seemlessly with both computers, but honestly syncing is designed to work with one and only one computer.

    Perhaps the reason you haven't had any replies is because there is no such thing as an 8GB iPod Classic.
    I suggest that you begin by correctly identifying which iPod you have.

  • Premiere Pro CS5 Not exportting to tape on TWO different Computers!!! HELP

    I had a prior post in january with a new desktop having problems exporting to tape. when it would export a blue screen would come up at random times breaking up the recording. almost like the camera was losing signal with the computer.
    Im capturing and exporting using a Canon XHG1 HDV camera.
    Both the Laptop (sony vpcf11x) and Desktop (custom with intel sandybridge motherboard) can CAPTURE tapes fine. but export causes problems on BOTH machines.
    Both of my computers (a laptop and desktop use the Intel i7 chipset.
    I have a Third desktop (gateway something or other) that ive been using Sony Vegas to Export to tape and it WORKS EVERYTIME! with the same Camera and Firewire Cable.
    Itried installing Sony Vegas onto the new Desktop to export and I get the SAME problem that I get with Exporting with Premiere.
    has anyone else heard of these problems? it is really starting to irritate me. with everything ive done, it has to be something with Adobe. how can i have the same problem on two different computers?

    Here are more specific information with my system and settings for you to see. I also included a video of my workflow and showing you what exactly is happening on export.

    Aspect Ration Conversion: Hardware Only
    External Device Audio
    Export: external device DV: 29.97 720x480i
    Disable video output when in the background is not checked
    Export to tape settings:
    Activate recording device is checked
    assemble timecode, delay movie start, and preroll _ frames (none are checked)
    abort after _ dropped frames (not checked)
    report dropped frames (not checked)
    render audio before video (is checked)
    I render out the video to one file (on my desktop).
    then import the clip into a new sequence with the above settings.
    file>export>tape>
    then it begins recording and drops out like the camera loses signal.
    this is really frusterating.

    The standard licence covers installation on any two computers - one being in use at any time.
    If you change computers, simply uninstall from the old machine and install on the new - Lightroom doesn't use "dial home" activation and deactivation.

    You need to provide more information about your network. What frequency does it use (2.4ghz or 5.0ghz), which wireless protocol (a, b, g, b/g compatibility, n), and what security are you using (WEP, WPA2, etc.)?
    Please also provide more information about your iPod Touch. Which model is it, and which version of the iOS are you running on it?

  • ATV not recognized by iTunes on any of my computers

    Ok, so I can connect to the network, play trailers, etc. but iTunes on both my computers will not recognize Apple TV??
    What is the deal here...getting rather frustrated. I have tried both wireless and direct connection and nada. Any thoughts, PLEASE. Thanks for your help.
    Note, I am trying to connect with my work laptops (IBM T43), yeah not a MacBook, but I have a bunch of iTunes movies I downloaded for when I was traveling I want to sync to my ATV.

    Ok slam, I finally got it to work (with the help of a extremely patient Apple Care Rep..thx)
    Here is some stuff to try first:
    1) Are your computers & APC all connected to the same network (i.e., Slam-lan, linksys, or whatever). If so, good, if not get them all on the same network.
    2) Is your ATV connected to the internet...try to watch movie trailers, etc. If so, good.
    3) Have you downloaded Bonjour for Windows for you XP machine? If not go to http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/bonjourforwindows.html and download...the program just helps with connectivity.
    4) If ATV still not recognized on your XP machine go to: Start > Run > type msconfig and you will be taken to system config utility. In "general" tab you probably have "normal startup" selected. Ok, now go to "services" tab and uncheck the "hide all microsoft services" box at the bottom, next select "disable all". Then in the "startup" tab select "disable all". Finally manually tick the box next to iTuneshelper in the "startup" tab, click apply and reboot. (don't worry, everything will start normal but windows will just not start some of the extra programs that may be installed).
    Once the computer has started up you will see the system config utility screen again where the "selective startup" button in the general tab will be selected. Close and select don't restart if asked. Verify you still have a network connection, if so open iTunes and see if ATV is visable (for me this fixed the issue). If not try turning on syncing on your ATV and it should be visible. Finally, I had to go back and add one program at a time to troubleshoot which specific program from the "startup" tab was causing the problem and delete (it was a useless program for yahoo widgets).
    Good luck, hope it helps...ATV is schweet. I love the photo's on the TV and the movies look good despite what people have been saying about them being grainy (must be the old downloads). I have my plasma setup for 1080i HD.

  • InDesign CS6 OSX linked fonts not recognized

    I am using InDesign CS6 on Mountain Lion and I received a document from a PC InDesign user with a linked AI image and document fonts folder included. When I launch the idd file the fonts are "missing".
    OSX does not seem to recognize the font files in the document fonts folder as proper font files. In Finder they appear as Unix executable files..
    I've tried disk repair/permissions repair, but neither seems to fix the problem.
    Any ideas? Thanks!

    Sounds like thy may be Windows Type 1 postscript fonts, in which case you would need to install them (both halves) into ID's private fonts folder.

  • D-link adapter not recognized

    I bought a d-link adapter from apple store and plugged it into my iMac usb port ... downloaded the firmware update and when I try to install it I get a message that I don't have any bluetooth device on my computer. (?)
    when I go to the bluetooth area in my system preferences and try to add a device I get the message "this computer has bluetooth capabilities"
    the only thing I have to set up is a jabra headset which works great with my PC notebook with bluetooth built in.
    I'm not sure what to do now. I read I need the firmware update to connect to a headset but the firmware update won't update. any ideas for me, please.

    the lights on the adapter are both on and I have tried it in two usb ports.
    The packaging for the d-link says "step into the world of bluetooth headphones, cameras, mice....etc." and it also states that this device works with OSX 10.4.3 or higher and I have 10.4.8 running here... so?....
    I've downloaded the bluetooth firmware update 1.2 (that is the right one?) but when I try to update I get a message
    that it is searching for a device then "the bluetooth device is not supported. this computer doesn't have an apple bluetooth product installed. It cannot be updated by this application"
    Oh, and I've also completely shut my computer off and turned it back on because I read somewhere that can be a factor in failure to update.

    * In Private Browsing mode some menu items are disabled (grayed) and features like visited links are disabled and not showing
    * You are in Private Browsing mode if you see "Tools > Stop Private Browsing", possibly grayed
    * You enter Private Browsing mode if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"

  • HP 932C PRINTER DOES NOT WORK OVER A NETWORK WITH TWO DIFFERENT OPERATIONAL SYSTEMS.

    I have a 932c HP printer connected via USB to a Windows XP desktop computer (Dell E520), which is part of a home network.
    I also have an HP Pavilion dv5 notebook, running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit, connected to the same network. This notebook can find the printer over the network. However, when I try to capture the 932c printer, the following dialog box appears:
    "The server for the `hp deskjet 930c series` printer does not have the correct printer driver installed. If you want to search for the proper driver, click OK. Otherwise, click Cancel and contact your network administrator or original equipmente manufacturer for the correct printer driver."
    When I click OK, another dialog box appears:
    "The file `*.INF`on (Unknown) is needed. Type the path where the file is located, and then click OK."
    However, I can't find any workable *.inf file in the HP notebook Hard drive (both partitions).
    I have already tried to download the driver from the HP website, but it says that Windows Vista already has the driver for such printer! Well, now I'm stucked!
    I'd like to point out that the printer works fine if I plug it directly to the HP notebook's USB port. But I want to operate the printer via the home network, keeping it hooked to the Windows XP desktop computer.
    How to solve this problem? Thanks.

  • Why does not Apple allows iPhone to be sync by two different computers ?

    I have a pc at home and one in office. But I can only sync it with my home pc. Why does not apple allow iPhones to be sync by atleats two pcs as having different pc for work and home is very general.

    It is possible to sync from multiple libraries manually on other devices (iPads & iPods) so blanket statements that 'it's DRM' don't really make sense to me.
    If it is the only reason why can't non DRM'd content be copied?

    I used to be able to save a page from my email (both hotmail and gmail). I an no longer save a page from Firefox of my email. It will save a page on a website visited. It does save a page and files but is unopenable.

    First off, this is a public forum, so anyone can see your e-mail address (Could an admin snip it?)
    The .js file by itself is not a website and is just used to hold Javascript code.
    You are looking for a .html file to open (probably named index.html), otherwise you do not have the full site.
