Link to different dashboards.

Hi experts,
I have a set up of OBIEE and OID.
I have 3 dashboards each having access of different groups and users. My requiurements are as follows:-
1. when I shall login as user 1 he should directly go to dashboard1
and when user2 logs in then he should directly go to dashboard2.Can anyone help me out in this.
I have used the analytics saw.dll link as http://dev-intellitrak.esp-global.com/analytics/saw.dll?Dashboard&_scid=%20&PortalPath=%2Fshared%2Fanswersname%2F_portal%@Dashboardname
but its not working. It is always taking me to the 1st dashboard page.
2.When I gave users and gropus priviledges then also User1 is not able to see the dashboard for which it has rights. and also I have given him right priviledge for answers but still he is not able to view answers.(The answers tab is itself not coming).
Pls help me out soon.

But I wonder is there anyother way to meet the requirements cause I guess this way has one defect and ie we will have to map for each user the portal path(which will not be benefecial) as tehn we will ahve to give the end user access to the DB in which whenever he will create any user he will have to insert data into that view.
and as we will hand over the whole catalog to the client then will that be ok.
Please guide me if any other way is there.

I have a question. I have a list with two new forms, one is created in SPD the other one is created in InfoPath (both forms are created by developer).
I don't know why the new form link to different page when I click "New Item" in ribbon and "Add new item" in list view.
1. Will open new form that created in InfoPath when click on "New Item" in ribbon.
2. Will open new form that created in SPD when click on "Add new item" in list view.

One way to do this would be to hold the urls for the pages you need to display in a table. You could then build the links as one of the columns of a report using some fancy SQL. 
 
Or you could make a simple function to return the correct link based on the relevant parameters:

Your report could then include the function as one of the columns in your report. 
Not very elegant but it should do the job.

Multiple objects to have the same rollover state at the same time (but link to different pages)

I have a mac
I would like to know how i can have multiple images with the same rollover states - but which show up at the same time on more than one image, (but each item to have its own linking property applied to it)?
see image below: i want both box 'A' to pop with the same rollover state even if I'm hovering on just one of the boxes. But i want each of the boxes to link to different pages in my website.
Ive tried grouping the images and moving them to their own layer, but the rollovers aren't 'linking' together on multiple objects

It's not, but you don't need that to achieve the behavior you've described. A1, a trigger, will have the states and hyperlink you desire. On rollover it will show its rollover state and will show its target container which will be directly on top of A2. It will look like a rollover state for A2. Repeat this for A2, B1 and B2 and I believe you achieve the behavior you've described. It's just a different way of approaching the problem (that happens to fit the tools available in Muse).

How can I make a link a different color than the other links according to the current page?

Hello. I have created a navigation bar. And I would like to style the links to have the current page link a different color than the other links. For example, if all of the links have a black background, I would like to have the current page link to have a white background. The reason that I would like to style them this way is so that the visitor knows what page is being visitied.
I tried different ways but all of them did not show to make any change to the links. This is what I have so far. The links work, but all of them have the same color and background. When on the home page, I would like to have the home page link to have a white background with black letters. I would appreciate your advice.

How to create links to different files on the same page?

Good day to all again,
can someone please guide me through creating several links to different files on the same page. In other words, I am creating a photo page where my links are called Gallery 1, Gallery 2, etc... I would like to create links so when the User clicks on Gallery 1, they see Gallery 1 slide show in the frame; when the user then clicks Gallery 2, then they see Gallery 2 slide show in the window.
My slide show files are done and I am using GoLive CS2. I have no knowledge of JavaScript or ActionScript/Flash.
Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

create multiple albums on the same page. Do a Google search for the
address. It's easy, inexpensive, and it works. I tried to do this
with the Photo Gallery in DW and FireWorks--but couldn't get it
right. CC uses Flash and Javascript.

I am trying to create a business role that contain logical links with different enhancements. I know how to choose an enhancement for the business role but I can't find a way, if possible, that one business role does it.
I know how to give an option to choose different roles for the same user, i'm looking for a way to do this in the same window

Reports as links in the Dashboards

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement where I need to arrange the reports that are on the Dashboard as a link. For example I have 3 reports like this.
Sales Report Invoice Report Purchase Order Report.
Now I want to arrange these 3 reports on the Dashboard as Links
Sales Report
Invoice Report
Purchase Order Report
Let’s say when the user click on the Sales Report link it should show the complete report with the prompts. Is there any way to do that in Dashboards. Please Help.

If you want reports as link in dashboard then drag report to dashboard and go to its peroperties.Select Link in a dashboard option.You can add all the reports in dashboard and choose this option.This will make reports to appear as links.
If you select any value from prompt and click on go button that prompt values will be applied as filters to these reports.

Passing Dashboard Prompt values to different dashboard.

I want to pass the selected prompt values from my current dashboard to a different dashboard. I am using a navigate function to go to the other dashboard.
The scenario is:
I am using a column formulae to navigate to the different dashboard.The column formulae written is:
case when rank ("Table".column ) <=10 then cast(rank ("Table".column) as char(10)) else ''||'+'|| '' END
In this scenario, the dashboard prompts are not get passed to the other dashboard.
In other case when I do not customize the column as stated above and in the Column Property just give a 'Navigate' in the Value Interaction it passes the prompt values to the other dashboard.
Similarly can we do something in the column formulae or using something else to pass on the dashboard Prompt values to the other dashboard.
Please Note that the dashboard Prompts in both the dashboards are exactly same.

Problem creating several image maps (linking to different pdf files) RoboHelp 8

Hi,
I have a problem creating several image map hotspots (that link to different .pdf files), from the same image using RoboHelp 8 HTML (WebHelp project).
After compiling, the first image map hotspot created, opens the .pdf file correctly. Unfortunately, when clicking on the other image hotspots, I get an error " Cannot find file...<file path>... Make sure path or Internet address is correct".
All the pdf documents are located in the same folder within the project.
Can anyone help?

When I click on any link in different site "example: facebook n emails etc" nothing opens in new tab its just blank page?

when i am on anysite and they have links to different pages so when i click on link to open it just opens blank page nothing comes so recently i been copying link locations and the paste it on url and press go but i cant keep on doing it.

Go to Tools->Options->Apps
Here you should see two columns: Content Type on the left, Actions on the right.
Find and select excel spreadsheet or any other content type in the left column. There should be a corresponding action in the right column. What is it? You can use the drop-down list to select the option you want:
Always Ask - Firefox will ask each time: What do you want to do with this file?
Save file - Firefox will save this file to your computer
Use - Firefox will give this file to the program to open it
In case of saving, Firefox will either prompt you every time where you want the file to be saved, or save it to the default location. It depends on the preference in

IWeb linking to different pictures

If you go to my iweb site: http://web.mac.com/gambit23/iWeb/GambitsRun and click on Cast of Characters and then click on Lilo, it launches a picture of my sister. This happens with many of my photos and even if I update the source within iWeb, it still links to different pictures. Anyone else notice this? Anyone have a fix??

That's interesting. It looks like it's displaying the image that references the same order as the original photo album from the template. Did you duplicate the photo album on the page? If so, you might just want to only have one album on a page (linked with the slideshow). You can add the other images without putting them in an album or have multiple photo pages.

Linking two different query created in SQVI

Hi friends
1) How to link two different queries created in SQVI
The output of the first query will the input of the second query
for example i have created one query to extract the material documents, now i want to pass this material documnts into the second query for serial number extraction
2) Is is possible to use a particular table twice in a single query, I am getting the error that Table already used
