Is it possible to create pay buttons in iweb? I am new to the program and cannot seem to find a way to link to a pay button for a business website. Do I need to use a different web design program? Thanks for any help.

I have this tiresome question to which I have been looking for a solution. The solution is easy but somehow my brain synapses don't work there.
DreamWeaver + Paypal.
My form has 3 dropdowns
First is primary color - red , green etc- Visitor chooses one.
Then How does he get linked to the second dropdown form- Secondary colors- red blue green etc-
After he chooses the secondary color and Then he needs to choose the third dropdown- size -
AFTER that he presses the paypal button.

Naturally I will have to make paypal forms for each color, but is there any easy way?

Yes you can. In iTunes, you can click on STORE. Then it should display your email address in the upper right corner. Click on it, then click on Account, you will be prompted for your Apple ID password. Then, you can go under payment info, Edit >.
You can then select PayPal from this menu.

How to link Muse PayPal widget securely to PayPal account?

I am testing using the PayPal widget for a client. It is a one sell item. When I test it online it shows me a PayPal that isn't customized, I'd like for the linked paged to be more customized and securely linked to PayPal. How do I do this and still use the Muse PayPal widget?

What exactly you are referring by customization ?
In Muse the paypal button can be used for online purchase process , where you can setup your account.
The Paypal button option gives you the fields that you can make changes accordingly.

I can't link my Paypal Account to my iTunes Stores Account

I am attempting to connect my billing preference in the iTunes Store to my Paypal account. The process takes me to Paypal and then at the end is supposed to return me to the iTunes Store. After clicking on "Return to iTunes Store" the page "Returning to the iTunes Store...Please Wait" loads and then stops/hangs.
This error message is in my taskbar: (using Internet Explorer as my default browser when I get this message)

This is using Internet Explorer as my default browser. I normally use FireFox, but Firefox blocks the return to the iTunes Store, as well.
I've contacted both Paypal (no problems there with my account or their system) and Apple Support (they can't seem to figure this out -- appears to be either an OS or Browser problem to them.) I've also posted this with the Microsoft Solutions forum but their suggestions haven't worked. Nothing seems to work. I'm hoping you can help me resolve this issue. An iTunes technician is working on it apparently. He contacted me on 12/23/10 but I haven't heard back from him.

The browser appears to be blocking the return to the iTunes Store so I can finalize the payment change to Paypal. I've turned off the Windows firewall and my anti-virus. Did not make any difference.

I'm having exactly the same error, but on a Mac using Safari as de default browser....
When it goes back to iTunes I can only see the original page where I launched the paypal website from.... nothing happens and if I click continue the whole process starts again. I guess by now I must have created 30+ billing agreements...

Paypal Link not working

I have a web based form set up and the link to paypal stopped working. When I go into the administration side of adobe form central it says the email address was not verified with paypal. I checked with paypal and they show that everything is ok. I am at a loss.

Could you describe in detail the steps you did and what error message you saw at what step so that we have more information to diagnose the problem? When I try to go to certain pages on PayPal, I get an error message which says 400 Bad Request: Size of request exceeds server limit. Didn't do it before the lasted Foxfire update. Can I revert to an older version?

1. Using Windows XP home
2.PayPal is the only website I have problems with Foxfire; works fine on IE8
3. I can get to some of the desired pages through other links on PayPal so it's not the pages themselves
4. The error message contains this:

When I saw Cookie, I did a disk clean including temp files and cookies. No difference. I also did a System Restore, to no avail.
5. The 400 message actually reads: Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.
6. Talk to PayPal customer service and they have not heard about any Foxfire conflicts.
7. Windows Firewall and Kaspersky Firewall turned ON but this is the same configuration before the Foxfire software update. PS. I'll give up Foxfire before I give up Kaspersky

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Can't get PayPal to work. Please help.

First I go to iTunes Store => My Account Info => Edit Payment Options => Click Paypal Bubble => Then Continue, and prompts me to a paypal site where I have "have successfully created a Billing Agreement."
Than when I click "Continue to iTunes Store" it does absolutely nothing. Is there anyway I can pay purchases with paypal?
Or is there even a way I can get a digital gift certificate thats not done through iTunes as that would produce the same issue? Thank you.

Yet another user having same problem. Can't set up PayPal payment in the web version of the store. In Windows desktop iTunes version of my account view, there is the PayPal choice, but when I pick it I am directed to my BROWSER, where I "successfully" link to PayPal, and then I am directed back to the BROWSER version of the Apple store, where...I cannot pay with PayPal. And back in the desktop version of iTunes, my account information is the same as before...NOT set up for PayPal. Hopeless?

Need popup window from cfform to go to PayPal using their button

I have a cfform page (ColdFusion 8) that is embedded in an iframe in my standard html webpage. (Embedded so that I still have the same outer "envelope" as the rest of the pages; nav bars, etc.) I have the form post back to itself in order to check for injection problems, validation beyond basic form validation, etc, then insert form entries into a database. I am trying to then pass the visitor on to PayPal for them to make the payment. This could be either by way of a popup window or a redirect. The problem is that if I just put the PayPal button in my .cfm page it doesn't work. Also, it seems I need to get it out of the iframe context. Of course it would be nice to go the other way (which I have also tried) and have the potential donor first go to PayPal, enter their info, and then have them redirected back to my page. I realize I could then get some of the info I need from them (name, email, etc) in the PayPal IPN return, but there are 2 problems with this. 1) I have to rely on them clicking the "go back to ....." link in PayPal and 2) I still need other info that PayPal doesn;t pick up, like what department category they want their donation to go to, etc. which I can get up front from them if I go the first route mentioned.
I have looked into cfhttp and cflocation tags. I don't seem to be finding any clearcut answers!

Why does PayPal says my browser (4.01) has a known security flaw?

I received a message from PayPal that says:
"It looks like you may be using an outdated browser with known security issues.
Help keep your computer and your PayPal account protected by updating your browser today."
When I checked Mozilla, it says I'm using the most current browser. I don't want to login to secure website if there is a security problem with Firefox. I can't surf without Firefox! Please help!

This sounds like a fraudulent email and will not be from PayPal. PayPal never send emails telling you to download software.

Problem with an HTML snippit and PayPal button - cant figure this one out?

Hello Mac people. We are really good with these things but this one has got us completely foxed.
We've done a tribute website in iWeb 08 for a friend and his family that were tragically murdered in November 2006 - the address is www.yemi.co.uk
We are trying to add a PayPal Donate button to the Charity Page.
Simple right? We went to our PayPal account, set up the button, previewed it (perfect), copied the code, pasted it into an iWeb HTML snippet window, clicked Apply and the PayPal button appeared on the page... Great, thats sorted right? Nope.
What happens after we publish to our .MAC account is that the PayPal button, when clicked, tries to load the entire PayPal page into the frame / area within the actual PayPal button, which is a tiny, on the iWeb page.
What we want it to do is just link to PayPal in a new window.
Tried everything we can think of to solve it including PayPal technical service, .MAC assistance etc... 3 days later we admit defeat!
Anyone have a clue what we've done wrong? Much appreciated.

Hi, just a quick update. We managed to solve this one by adding this to the first line of code that PayPal generates after it has been pasted into the Snippit window: target="newFormWindow" - it forces the page to open in a new window and gets round the problem we were having.

Itunes doesn't see money in paypal

so i have 4 US dollars in my paypal account and today i wanted to link my paypal with my itunes account and when i tried i got the error:
This recipient requires that you have a valid funding source from United States in order to complete this transaction.
I have money in my paypal account, so this should work. why not?

Do you have a U.S. credit card attached to your PayPal account? If I recall from previous discussions, this may be a requirement.

ITunes and Paypal not working

I have an issue with iTunes and Paypal. First off, Apple support has been NO HELP! Last email from them said I should see about the fee based or expert service!?!?!?! I the support was nothing but 3 days of wasted time with them.
My problem is that iTunes needed me to re-verify my payment with iTunes which when I tried to do this Paypal setup the billing agreement then the browser was set to reopen iTunes but it just sits there in iTunes for me to continue again and starts over with Paypal billing agreement every time.
I have tried on different machines and different we browsers with the same problem. I have talked to paypal and they said everything is fine on their end and the billing is setup fine for iTuens to use so they say it is not a Paypal issue.
Anybody have ANY ideas for me to try? (iTunes support people need NOT reply since you have been no help at all except for trying to get more money of me)

You DONT want to link your PayPal with Itunes because it has been used to extract money from peoples PayPal accounts for about a year. I got hit for 100 dollars on Xmas eve. Apple is hidding the facts about this, but PayPal is refunding money to others (and me I hope). No one seems to really identify how this is happening, some say pfishing, some say an Itunes hack - bottom line is don't buy ANYTHING on Itunes if you can help it, and surely don't set up any automatic payments for anything. Live support at Apple has been acting like they don't know what you're talking about for some time, and they simply tell you to send it all in an email and they will look into it. (They have been doing this for nearly a year, and must have about a million emails that they need to get back to the senders on - lol
I think that some of the apps that are free for the IPhone are actually logging keystrokes - but no one seems to be looking into a way to actually protect the phone with good spyware and anti fraud cleanup capacity - at least with any app that i would trust (Norton - McAfee). I sure wouldn't take a free security app from a IPhone or IPod developer !!

Pay with PayPal funds on Appstore

and since i dont have one, i just wondered if i could use my paypal funds to pay
any help?!

Paypal isn't available in the U.K. - but you might pay via your BT phone bill or through Click&Buy.
