Links changing in browser

I just started having this problem. As I check my links to pages on the browsers (Mozilla Firefox and IE), the first couple of pages load flawlessly. Then I will get one that leaves out the name of the site (root) file and then all of the others that worked before lose that file too. I have to go in and change them all again. Then I browse and it happens again. Did I change something in a setup that is messing me up?

I never put my Site Folder inside MyDocuments. I think you'll find DW much simpler to use if you create a separate site folder on your hard drive like so:
C://MySite
Then add appropriate folders through DW's Files Panel so that your basic site looks something like this:
C://MySite
          +Images
          +Media
          +Scripts
          +Styles
          +Templates
index.html
about.html
contact.html
services.html
If you insert an image or file from MyDocuments, MyPictures, etc.. always make sure that DW copies that file to your local site folder. Otherwise your link paths will point straigh to files on your local hard drive instead of to files in your site folder.

Editing Buttons and Links in In-browser editing.

Hey guys,
I'm using Adobe Muse lately and it's awesome to discover this new "In-Browser" Editing feature.
However, it seems to only work on text and images ranges, if I put a text with a link, I'll only be able to change the text,not the link.
Futher more, if I draw out a shape(Rectangle) and set the background to a image to form a button with different states, I won't be able to alter it at all in the In-Browser editing.
Is there a way in In-Broswer editing that I can change the HTML object(inserted), image with link(changing the link to another), text with link( changing the text and the link) and the button with link( changing link )

Link in my browser

Hey guys,
I am wondering one thing, i am about to launch my website and one thing that i don´t like is that when a user changes page, it shows the whole link at the browser, let´s say my website is adobe.com, when we change pages, it would show : adobe.com/home.php or adobe.com/galleryalbum.php. Is there a way of making it show just ( adobe.com ) no matter where the user´s at ?
Hope i explained my situation clearly enough, lol.

Back in the bad old days, we did this with frames and framesets. Not recommended for obvious reasons.
I don't see any upside to making all your site pages into http://example.com I think it's confusing, not to mention impossible to bookmark anything other than the domain name home page.

Visited links change color.

Visited links change color (to something pretty similar to
the page background :(
Even though in the page properties all the states of links
(Color, Rollover, Visited, and Active) are set to the same color -
yellow.
It is an upper part of a frame-set, but when I open it in a
browser or in DW by it self (without a frame-set), it still does
the same changing to that uncolled color. I really don't know what
to do with it.

users of the site.
I am down on frames because I believe that they create many
more problems
than they solve.
Judging from the posts here, and the kinds of problems that
are described,
the kind of person most likely to elect to use frames is also
the kind of
person most likely ill-prepared fo solve the ensuing problems
when they
arise. If you feel a) that you understand the problems and b)
that you are
prepared to handle them when they occur, and c) that you have
a need to use
frames, then by all means use them.

Can't identify links visited in browser

I've never seen a browser where the links that you've already visited. In every other browser the link changes to a different color. If you're in Craigslist or some page that has hundreds of links, you can't tell which ones you've already followed. Bizarre.

I have a strange bug with my browser and does not know how to solve it. Normal case with every browser: if i visit a link on a page it appear to be purple, so i know i have visited this.
THis does not work with the webos browser, and i have no clue why. i asked a friend and on his touchpad it works.
I checked all settings, wiped out the browser datas....

How do I change the browser language in Firefox 4?

I upgraded to the beta version of Firefox 4.0, and my browser language automatically changed from English to German. How do I switch it back?
It seems that the option to change the browser language under ''Options'' > ''Advanced'' > went away with Firefox 4.0.; at least I don't see it anymore.
Firefox allows you to select your prefered language to view a website under ''Options'' > ''Content'', but this has no effect on the browser language.
Please advise.

Firefox won't open a PDF link in the browser, screen just shows blank.

Firefox won't open a PDF link in the browser, when I click on the link the screen just goes to a blank blue screen.

If using a Mac, go to the Firefox Plugins and disable the Adobe Acrobat NPAPI Plug-in, Version 10.1.3. This is a recent plugin update, and as soon as it was installed I noticed that PDFs wouldn't download.

I don't know what other side-effects it can create, but it solved my problem.

Embedded mms-links change to open file-links when converting .doc to pdf

When converting word documents to pdf, all of my embedded video mms-links change to local open-file type links while my http-links keep their address. Why is this?
Since I've got about 600 of them I'm not too keen on changing them all back in Acrobat.
The links look like this in word:
mms://something.com/videos/file.wmv
But turns out like this after conversion:
Z:\catalog\mms:\something.com\videos\file.wmv
Notice the switch of slashes from / to \ after conversion.
Anyone got a clue?

My versions are:
Word 2007 and/or Word 2003 and Adobe 9.1.0.163
I think I solved it using this add-in:

and saving the .doc-files as .docx-files in word 2007 before saving them as .pdf, using the add-in.

All links change color when click 1

HI, I've tried searching for this as many ways as I can think
of - so forgive me if this has been covered before.
I've made a template file and have a series of links to
various pages (I'm in the VERY beginning stages here). On my pages
that have this template applied, the links go to where they are
supposed to go BUT when I click on 1, all the links change to the
"visited" color.
Also, the "hover over" color appears only after at least 1 of
the links has been clicked, not before, and no color changes occur
on the home page.
I know this is very elementary but we all have to start
somewhere!

p.s. If you look at the site and you notice "Web Design", I
don't really do web designing (duh). I'm making all this up just to

That usually happens when you link to a file that is OUTSIDE
the root folder
for the site. Is this one?

I have a group of menus at the top of my home page. Without
using Frames, I would like to know how to make the menu links
change the content of a specified area on the same (home) page. I
have the page sectioned off into areas using divs. The ideal
solution would be to have a menu choice change the div and/or the
content inside the div.
How can this be accomplished?
