List of all users in a client along with their roles

Hi All,
Is there a way to get a list of all the users available in a client along with the roles assigned to them?
I could actually compare the users and roles individually. But i would like to have a complete list.
Thanks
Vijay

basically you want user reports...
You can try go to transaction SE38 -> RSUSR*  , all the user reports are started with RSUSRxxxxx, inside might have something relevant to your request.
cheers,

  • How to retrieve all the users along with their password from LDAP

    Hello,
    Can anyone let me know how to retrieve and list all the user along with their password from LDAP.
    Thanks

    Hi Prashant,
    I have limited experience with Synchronization, but I agree with you - if you need to synchronize Passwords, you need to have the Password in clear Text.
    If you trying to build your own Synchronization Solution using any of the avaliable LDAP APIs, I don't think you can ever retrieve a user's Password in clear text.
    However, I did come across an interesting article & I hope you find it useful :-

    I am not sure if SSL is necessary - If you have a look at Metalink Note 277382.1 ( How to Configure OID External Authentication Plug-In for Authentication Via Microsoft Active Directory (MS AD) ), teh question asked by oidspadi.sh for the same is asnwered as "N".

  • How to find out the list of all user's whose passwords are expired

    Hi
    i had tried to find out the list of all user's whose passwords are expired.
    i had written some jndi code by finding the max age and then find out the current time and subtracted this current time from max age using the following code
    "Attributes attbts=ctx.getAttributes("cn=pwdpolicy");
    String maxAge=(String)attbts.get("pwdMaxAge").get();
    Date Today = new Date();
    System.out.println("maxAge"+maxAge);
    long curTime=(Today.getTime())-Long.parseLong(maxAge)*1000;"
    and then parse it and create a string time as follows
    String time=year+month+day+hour+minute+second+"Z";
    where "year" "month" etc were parsed from curTime
    now i can get the list by using following code
    "String filterCriteria="(&(objectclass=person)(pwdChangedTime>="+time+")";
    NamingEnumeration results = ctx.search(baseDN,filterCriteria, sc); "
    but the current time which i am getting is the time of my system not the time of ldap server
    so my questions are following;
    1.Can there is any way by which i can get the tivole sever's system time.
    2.If there is no way then can you suggest any other way to find out the list of user's whose passwords are expired.
    please help me.
    Thanks.

    Hi Mohamed
    You use Solution Manager to do the comparison for you.  There are some nice features that will highlight all your customised coding.  Have a look at the SolMan resources on the Support Portal e.g. using SolMan for upgrade comparisons.

  • How can i get the list of all users present in the LDAP

    Hi Experts,
    How can i get the list of all users present in the LDAP ?
    Is there any API or function Code to get all user list??
    Please help me out!!!
    Help will be rewarded

    Well it will depend on exactly where your UME configuration points to in the LDAP tree but yes, it is possible to get all users.  Something like the following should do it:
    import com.sap.security.api.*;
    import com.sapportals.portal.prt.component.*;
    IUserFactory iuf;
    ISearchResult isr;
    IUser user
    String userid;
    iuf = UMFactory.getUserFactory();
    isr = iuf.getUniqueIDs();
    you will need to iterate the ISearchResult object but you can get IUser objects by
    userid = (String)isr.next();
    user = iuf.getUser(userid);
    then you can imanipulate / identify / or whatever you need with the user object

    Hi Pankaj,
    find the official NetWeaver security javadocs (including access to UME) <a href="http://help.sap.com/javadocs/NW04S/current/se/index.html">here</a>. Look for classs UMFactory and proceed from there.

  • How to get the list of all users

    Hi,
    Is there a way in Grid Control for getting the list of all users on all target databases? I need to count how many Oracle db users in our company.
    Thanks a lot.

    One way to do it might be...
    Assuming you have preferred credentials set up for all of your databases, you could run a 'select username from dba_users or all_users;' against all of your databases through grid control.
    Click on Targets tab, click Databases, then the 'Execute SQL' link at the bottom of the page. Click 'Add' and 'Select All'. Then run it. It's just running the same sql across all of your databases and the output will be at the bottom for all of them.

  • Getting list of all users present in SIM

    Hi,
    I would like to update all the users (attributes of users) in SIM .
    Right now I am thinking to get list of all users present in SIM and get the view of each user and then update the particular attribute and chekin the view. and imp point to note here is I am having around 100,000 users present in SIM.
    I am thinking there could be a better solution than this...
    But I do not know which way can be used to accomplish the task.
    Can any one reply immediately with any thought on this.
    Thanks in advance.

    Run a bulk update actions you can easily get a list of all accountids by running select name from userobj;
    and in your field or in your input area specify the values u wanna update

  • I have a few collections, but not all PC's in those collections are listed in "All Desktop and Server Clients".

    I have a few collections, but not all PC's in those collections are listed in "All Desktop and Server Clients". Does anyone happen to know the reason for this? It should have at least the same number of clients as the largest collection.
    Thanks,
    James
    James A+, Network+, MCP

    Hi James,
    The All Desktops and Server collection only contains devices that show client=yes.
    Meaning the Configuration Manager client is installed on those devices.
    This WQL query will give you a collection of all devices that do not have the client installed.
    select SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name,SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client from SMS_R_System where (SMS_R_System.Client is null or SMS_R_System.Client = 0) and SMS_R_System.Name != 'Unknown'
    Another handy collection is all clients that are inactive (No communication for the default 7+ days)
    select SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name,SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client from SMS_R_System inner join SMS_G_System_CH_ClientSummary on SMS_G_System_CH_ClientSummary.ResourceId = SMS_R_System.ResourceId where SMS_G_System_CH_ClientSummary.ClientActiveStatus = 0
    I normally create both and then a third collection of all devices and exclude the above two which should show you all healthy devices.
    Have a look at the ccmsetup.log file on the client if it has attempted to install the ConfigMgr client but failed.

  • User List with their roles

    Hi Guys,
    I want a list of all users in the database with their specified roles.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Regards,

    I was confused that GRANTEE is USERNAME and I am still confused. No need to be confused because docs are saying :
    GRANTEE     VARCHAR2(30)          Name of the user or role receiving the grant
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14237/statviews_4064.htm
    Probably you are not seeing all/some user names, because chances are that some privileges are granted to role but not directly to the users. Users are accessing those privileges via role. See example :
    SQL> select * from v$version;
    BANNER

  • Is it possible to export full PCD object list along with their PCD ID?

    Hi
    Is it possible to export full PCD object list along with their PCD ID to an excel sheet or txt file?
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Regards
    Vineet

    Hi,
    I have provided a simple method below to Get all the PCD objects PCD  ID.
    1. Create a transport package.
    2. Add all the PCD objects for which ever you need the PCD ID.
    3. Now release the Transport package as the "File system" mode.
    4. Once it is done successfully, it will display all the transported object and its corresponding PCD ID in a table format.
    You can simply copy and paste it in a excel to get the PCD ID for the PCD objects.
    Hope this is helpful.
    Thanks,
    Mahendran B.

  • If I upgrade from 10.5.8 (Leopard) to 10.6.5 (Snow Leopard) will I have to reinstall all of my applications? Along with that, will it update all of my applications?

    If I upgrade from 10.5.8 (Leopard) to 10.6.5 (Snow Leopard) will I have to reinstall all of my applications? Along with that, will it update all of my applications?

    You can upgrade 10.6 right over 10.5 with hardly any issues.
    You will not have to resintall any applications, and the only applicaitons that get updates are the bundled one's Apple includes. Not your third party ones, those require your manual updates, but likely not paid updates for the most part.
    10.6 is for Intel processors, offeres video card driver improvements, some new UI tweaks and strips out the PPC processor code your not using.
    Your sort of already using Snow Leopard already under Leopard, as Leopard is for both Intel and PPC processors.
    Now if your thinking of updating to 10.6 to get to 10.7, then yes, your older programs from Leopard and even some from Snow Leopard will not work in Lion 10.7
    So 10.6 is as far as you go.

  • Copying tables along with their indexes between databases

    I use sql server management studio express.  I have a database that has some questionable schemas, roles, etc, so I decided to create a new database, with just tables, stored procedures, and user-functions.
    So I used the "import data" feature, which allowed me to select several tables, that were copied along with their data.
    Then, I scripted out all the user-functions and stored procedures from the original database, and pasted them into a query window for the new database, and executed the create statements for each.
    Then I got a message that I was lacking a full-text index.
    I then started examining some tables, and even regular tables with an integer primary key that is supposed to be an identity' field were not identity fields any more, and lacked the auto-increment.
    I tried to change that, and make them auto-increment, and then sql server told me that I can't do that.  I guess if there is already data inside an integer field, you can't make it auto-increment.
    So how do I solve all this?
    Thanks

    You cant modify a column to be of type identity. For that you need to do the below
    http://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertip/1397/add-or-drop-identity-property-for-an-existing-sql-server-column/
    But in your case what works best would be to script out the table along with identity and then use it to create the table in the new database.
