List of CP with the Archiving flag

Please advise me the tables with the relationsips between them to get the list of the CPs whose status is set for archiving.

Check if this helps you:
The flag for BP status is setted at table BUT000 at field XDELE.
If you want to get the Contact Persons by BP ROLE, check table BUT100 (entering in RLTYP field, for example, role BUP001).
If you want to get the Contact Persons by RELATIONSHIP, check table BUT050. (entering in RELTYP field, for example, the relation BUR001).

We have public Websites running on UCM/SiteStudio which are only accessible through SSL by visitors. The aim is that every cookies should be secure to be sure that they are not transmitted in plain text to our server.
We thus would like to find a way to put the secure flag on JSESSIONID to avoid any case of session hijacking.

Hi,
In the query execution there are a sequence of steps performed before we actually see the data. One of these steps is Authorization check.
When we check Auth Relevant for a characteristic and have a Authorization Variable in the query. The authorizations assigned to the user are checked to see what the user has access to. For instance if we have a auth relevance for Region char, and we used it in the query. User who is running the query has authorization to Germany only, then the output of the report has only data relevant to that user, i.e., for Germany.

Using semaphores with the SEM_UNDO flag

I open a semaphore with the SEM_UNDO flag to have the semaphore released if the process crashes when it's locked.
When the process terminates normally, the semaphore's value is still adjusted because the process increments and decrements operations on the semaphore were not even and are reversed on exit.
Is there a way to prevent that?
Can I clear the semaphore history structure in the process before exit?

When your process terminates normally it calls exit() which in turn calls semexit() this adjust the value of any semaphores with outstanding SEM_UNDO operations. The call to semexit() is hardcoded and can't be removed.
It deoesn't appear to be possible for a process to directly manipulate the semaphore data structures used to implement the SEM_UNDO feature.

Help with the green flag status

Hi,
I created a collect payload using BPM such that I will wait for n number of payload messages based on a certain field in the incoming message. The messages are connected using correlation. Initially, my problem was the BPM is not collecting any payload message such that I always got a checkered flag in SXMB_MONI. My condition in the loop is (Counter not equal to a field value in my payload message). I was changing this condition and performing testing on what went wrong when all of a sudden I got a green flag and it is saying, Message scheduled in outbound side.
Question 1: Can anyone please tell me what is causing the green flag and how can I solve this? I went to SMQ2 and there are nothing listed there.
Question 2: Does anyone know why my condition is not working and that the collectPayload is not collecting as expected?

Thanks for responding.
When I click on SXMB_MONI->PE, instead of going to the Workflow log to check on the technical details, I was rerouted by SAP to qRFC Monitor (Inbound Queue). I am not sure if this would be helpful but when I check the entries in SXMB_MONI, for those entries that are showing a green flag, there is nothing under the Service (Process) column. I was expecting to find my integration process object there.
For the BPM Pattern available in SAP BASIS, I actually copied that object to my software component and from there modified it to suit my needs.
Michal, how do you register queues (basis) in SXMB_ADM ?
Moorthy, I Checked for SXI_CACHE entry for Integration Process and I found my service there with a return code of 99. Can you explain to me what return code 99 means? and if it is a problem how can I solve it to make it Zero(0)?

What is the deal with the update flag?

Why is "Re: Buggy Buttons and Random ..." highllighted and marked with update where as "Re: Suggestions for Updates..." only is highlighted? What happened to update on "Re: Suggestions for Updates...".

Maybe, the forum software only displays the update flag once to your unless something has changed. I look for this.
So dot and no Updated = new content in a thread I never read.

To fix it, change [if IE] to [if lt IE 9]

Removing the archived flag for BP

Hi Guys,
In our project BP's are flagged off for archiving under certain condition using the function module BAPI_BUPA_CENTRAL_CHANGE in the abap program.
Where in that function module am using the CENTRALDATA structure to set the flags.
Now again for certain conditions we want to remove the flag for those records whose archiving flags are alreadyset. here again am using the same function module BAPI_BUPA_CENTRAL_CHANGE . But the function module is not setting the values after executing(for un-archiving) for the table BUT000-XDELE..
I dont want to do it manually using the t-code.. Is there any way i can reset the flag using the FM..?
Am i missing anything else to achieve this..

have you called BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT after calling BAPI_BUPA_CENTRAL_CHANGE? Have you filled CENTRALDATA-CENTRALARCHIVINGFLAG = ' ' and CENTRALDATA_X-CENTRALARCHIVINGFLAG = 'X'?

Runtime performance with the debug flag enabled?

Does anyone know when I enable the debug flag, does it impact the runtime performance of my application? I assume when I use the "-g" option, only line number and source file information is generated. Any feedback appreciated.... thanks!

Since the only way to performance tune an application is with an automated preformance tool, I presume you have already done that and so are just trying to squeak that last bit of performance out of the app.
So just fire up the tool and see which one is faster.

Prepping large lists for use with the IN Operator

We frequently have to run a query on a specific listing of comptuer names, typically using the IN Operator and ('Name1', 'Name2', etc.).
Am looking for a way both to speed up the placing of the names into the required formatting, and to also remove the CRLF between them (they come mostly from Excel lists, so one per row) to make the code at least look neater (and spend less time typing),
i.e.,:
Name1
Name2
Etc. to: ('Name1', 'Name2', 'etc.')
Any way to automate?

We may all be going overboard suggesting better ways to do things, but to loop back around to answer your question, if you just wanted a simpler way to paste a shortish list of values into SSMS for convenient running through an IN clause...
SSMS the front end application you use to query SQL Server supports Regular Expressions, even though (sadly) SQL Server itself doesnt. Here's a Search and Replace that would mostly do what you want.. (This works almost perfectly, except there is one
extra comma at the end you have to backspace to fix. I could spend way more time figuring out how to handle the extra comma at the end, but then again, I could also NOT spend that time too.. :-)
Start with just your pasted list, or highlight just the list itself, leave the rest unhighlighted.
Find and Replace (or control-H)
Find what: Type in exactly as shown, just the highlighted part below
{^}{.*}{\n*}
Replace with: Type in exactly as shown, just the highlighted part on the line below
'\2',
Make sure "look in" is set to the appropriate thing ("selection" if you took the select text approach)
Choose Regular Expressions via the USE checkbox at the bottom
Click Replace All
There's also a cache of "Most recently used find and replace strings", so the down arrow will remember the regex expression for a little while at least.
Sadly, SSMS doesn't have savable macros, you'd have to type that in each time. However, the investment to mess with and learn regular expressions will last a lifetime
Other approaches I also use:
Notepad++ and some stored macros (so paste from your source to notepad++, run the macro, then copy and paste from there to SSMS. Notepad++ has quite a nice way to just record what you're doing, without having to worry about
learning how their macros work.
An embarrasingly complex spreadsheet for quick and dirty conversions to SQL formatting that I use in certain very unique situations for my own personal queries, nothing else. Again, requires an interim step of pasting to the spreadsheet, then to SQL.
And the disclaimer: As people here are suggesting better and more robust ways (load a table, etc.), this approach that I mentioned here here (Regular expressions via SSMS) is a "for programmer use only while using SSMS" approach, not really suitable
for a large scale solution. (But then again, if you're a programmer using SSMS, maybe it's just fine!)

Alphabetical Artist listing of artists with 'The' in their name

Previously my nano would ignore the 'the' in artist names such as 'The Used' and 'The Hush Sound', ordering them by the second word. However, when I started using my ipod today, it no longer ignores the 'The' and has collected all artists whose names start with 'The' in 'T'.
Is there a way to change this so the ipod ignores the 'The' in artist names like it used to only a few days ago (and like most alphabetised systems do)?

Why is the "Delete" and "Junk" buttons repleased with the "Archive" button (Only for one of the accounts)?

I must have changed a setting, so that the "Delete" and "Junk" buttons above the mail pane have disappeared, and an "Archive" button has appeared instead. This is true only for my mail through Gmail (IMAP), but when i open a mail from my other account (POP), i still see the "Delete" and "Junk" buttons.
How can I fix this?

Try this:
Select an email that does not show all the correct buttons in the header information section above the actual message.
right click on the blank area just above 'Other Actions', you should get a popup saying 'Customise'.
click on 'Customise'
a new window opens.
you can drag items onto that header area, but I would suggest you click on 'Restore Default Set' button and then clickon 'Done' button.
