List of equipments sent out for repair

Hi friends,
we are sending some equipments outside to vendor for repair. In some cases the vendor provides a stand-by equipment until the equipment is repaired.
My requirement is to list the equipments that have been sent to vendor for repair and the list of stand-by equipments in the plant.
How can i do these?
Thanks in advance
Vivek

hi Vivek,
You can create User statusues and maintain this. For eg. 'SENT' can be created to mark those equipments which are sent outside for repair. Once you receive the equipment back from Repair you can change the status to AVLB (Available). As far as identifying the temporary equipments are concerned, you can create a separate Equipment category with a different no. range and create some equipments under this Category. Whenever you receive such equipment, you can identify this vendor suppplied equipment thru' one of this equipment no. and do installation in the respective FL. With this you can track both the sent equipments and the temporary equipments.
Regards,
Bala.

  • Photo Stream not updating photos taken while PC out for repair

    Hi Everybody,
Odd issue here.  I sent my PC out for repair recently.  While it was gone, I took a number of photos on my iPhone.  The PC came back, and none of the photos are downloading to my PC.  The odd part is that any NEW photo that I take IS downloading (I took a picture tonight that downloaded to my PC very quickly).  How can I get it to pick up those other photos, and why is it not picking them up?
    Thanks!

Bump... any thoughts?  I've Googled the crap out of this and just can't come up with any solutions.

  • Sent in for Repair on "whine"

Ok. Got the Macbook yesterday and experienced the noises. I talked to applecare today. They are aware of the display whine and said that I need to have it sent in for repair where they will fix the display inverter. The other issue I told him about was the left fan running constantly and another whine noise but not as bad as the display high pitched noise.
He wrote it all down for the techs.... and said that a box will be at my house in a few days and it will be back to me within 7 days.
We'll see if I follow through with this or now.

Iv been through this... Try calling Apple and cheack your Order status with the Order # they gave you. On Mon., I was told I should have a new MacBook in my hand within a week after they get my FedEx tracking #. Later in the day I called to give them my FedEx tracking #, then they told me I should be getting my MacBook on the 22 of March (almost a month away). The rep I spoke to told me there is nothing they can to to speed things up...

  • In store repairs vs sent out for servicing?

Just wondering what geek squad is capable of doing in store when it comes to repairing/replacing bios chip or motherboard? would something like this have to be sent off?

BIOS or motherboard issues would would need to be sent out to service.
In store repairs can be done for things the store has parts for (and that the manufacturer will allow us to do in store if it's under manufacturer warranty). So things like RAM and HDDs in laptops.

    Hi,
SAP doesn't provide any option for creating Gate Pass (Returnable & Non-Returnable) in standard.
    Returnable Gate Pass: -
    1. MM01 - Create Material Master for every Spare Part / Machinery to be sent to Vendor for Repair as Non-Valuated (Material Type "UNBW") (Do not extend Accounting and Costing views since you don't require postings of Stock value and consumption values, you only want to track the Service/Repair Charges)
    2. MIGO - Goods Receipt > Others (Receive the quantities of these materials using Movement Type 501 / 511)
    3. ME21N - Create Subcontracting PO (Here Main Material and Component will be same material)
    4. MB1B - Transfer Posting w.r.t. Subcon PO (Mvmt Type - 541, Spare Part stock will get posted to Vendor Stock)
    5. MB90 - Take Print out of this Material Doc as Returnable Gate Pass (U need to configure Message Determination of Inventory Mgmt)
    6. MIGO - GR against Subcon PO (101 - Receive Spare Part, 543 O - Consumption of Spare Part form Vendor Stock)
    7. MIRO - LIV for Service Charges w.r.t. Subcon PO
    Non-Returnable Gate Pass: -
    1. MIGO - Goods Receipt > Others (Receive the quantities of these materials using Movement Type 501 / 511)
    2. MIGO - Goods Issue > Others (Issue the quantities of these materials using Movement Type 501 / 511)
    3. MB90 - Take Print out of this Material Doc as Non-Returnable Gate Pass (U need to configure Message Determination of Inventory Mgmt)
Note: - If Client is not satisfied with this then you need to go for development of Gate Pass System.
    Also check transaction code LECI
    Related configuration
SPRO --> Logistics Execution --> Shipping --> Basic Shipping Functions --> Registration of Visitors and Means of Transport
here u need to create a CHECK POINT in transaction CHKPT

  • MBP sent in for repair--trade displays?

I just had my 15" MacBook Pro sent in for the following:
    - CPU Idle Whine
    - Non 0 / 100 % Display Brightness Buzz
    - Display Hiss (temporary fix was slight downward pressure on the display, above the iSight)
    - Right Speaker Distortion
I posed the question to the Genius who was helping me:
"Could you leave a note for the repair technician to use a glossy display, if indeed they need to replace the display?"
You see, I bought my MBP before they had the option to ship with glossy displays, and after using my brothers MacBook, I was hooked on the qualities of the display.
Unfortunately, the genius entirely turned down my suggestion. He said that they always replaced things part-for-part, and that it was entirely impossible to even so much as leave a note suggesting this.
Any thoughts, or was my genius just giving me a hard time?

I have problems with the display and I bought it yesterday. I'm going to make sure I don't have to send it in since I bought this one to use while they're repairing the other one and I don't want to keep buying macbooks.

  • New macbook after old sent in for repair

So I sent my white macook core duo in for repairs since it would not recognize the battery. Three days after sending the computer in I received a call from apple saying that they wanted to keep my computer and send me a brand new one. Something about doing research on that particular problem. Has this happened to anyone else?

no problem at all, just trying to see if this has happened to anyone else. not only am I getting core 2, but I am also getting double layer dvd and i think i heard someone say that the wireless was improved. what else is different between the first and second generation?

  • How do I make a correction to a document that has already been sent out for e-signature?

I thought I posted this question this morning but I don't see it in the forum so I'm posting again.  I apologize if it shows up twice.
For example, let's say I have a 40-page document that I need someone to sign. I spend 15 minutes to add all of the "initial here" and "sign here" fields to the Echosign document.
Then I send the document out for signature.
The recipient says, "It looks like you missed a spot where I was supposed to initial on the document."
It seems the only way I know how to fix this now is to:
    1. Void the current document
    2. Re-import the PDF from my computer into Echosign
    3. Spend another 15 minutes inserting all the "initial here" and "sign here" fields.
    4. Re-send out the document for him to sign
There must be a better way, right?  Docusign says they have the ability for the document sender to make a correction to an existing document and re-send it out, and there is also a capability for the signer to make corrections to the document (which would be initialed by any other signers later)
    Mike

Esign services don't allow for red-lining. The assumption is that final approved documents are used.
So indeed if you spot a mistake which means it voids the contract you indeed cancel the outstanding one and start over.
To avoid re-doing field do one of 2 things:
Upload the document as library template and enable form field layers.
Should you need to start over, upload the document again, but apply the previously created form field layer:
first under the dashboard use the add template to library
check the option for Create as reusable form field layer
upload a document and add fields as needed.
When you upoad the same or similar document, youcan apply the form field layer:
    https://helpx.adobe.com/document-cloud/help/reusable-form-field-layer.html
or markup the source document with text tags:
    https://helpx.adobe.com/document-cloud/help/adding-esign-services-agreement-fields.html
this means the form fields will already be part of the document prior to uploading to eSign services.

  • Spare materials sending out for repair

    All,
    Pls see the scenario :
This is a project in Egypt .
Spare materials , for some repairs business will send outside the factory to some vendors for repair .
After repair same material will take back .
    1. Whether this is subcontracting or comes in services ?
    2. Whether we can use (parts provided to vendor ) ?
    Kindly advise.
    regards,

    Hello Sandeep,
Yes, absulately this is subcontracting scenario.
In my previous project, the client use to send Machine shaft for polishing purpose so we applied the same scenario, but without split valuation.
In you case, the final product and component product can be the same or you can use split valuation as suggested by Manish.
When you create the purchase order for subcontracting put the material number as final product and also as component (qty will be the same). We are just paying for service.
If you use service order then you want be able to track the qty of material which is provided to the vendor.
    Hope this helps.

  • IPad mini sent in for repair, what's going to happen?

I am sending my Ipad mini in for repair due to hardware issues. If they cannot repair mine and decide to send me another- will it be a new iPad or a refurbished one? If it is likely to be a refurbished one- are those just as good as new ones?

  • High Pitched Sound from X61 -- sent in for repair

So, since the very beginning of my Lenovo Thinkpad ownership I have experienced a high pitched noise when on High Performance battery power.
So I just switched it to Power Saver mode and forgot about it (Busy student, hard to find time to go weeks without computer)
So recently I sent it in to Lenovo. They replaced the motherboard and the hdd.
I recieved it today, only to find that it is still quite prevalent.
I'm wondering how many have went through the repair service for the same problem. Also, do they at the repair center just put parts in and hope it fixes it without checking?
I called and they told me it will be on escalated priority (has anyone ever been told this?) and the box will get here tomrw. Thankfully I live in Memphis where a repair center is right around the corner. (However, I go back to school the 14th)
They told me they will be replacing the fan. I'm no expert, but it doesn't sound like the fan. What can I expect from lenovo if they can't fix this problem?
    Thanks,
    Josh

  • Equipment sent out for calibration

I have a scenario where for calibration i am sending the equipment to vendor for calibration.
i am creating equipment as material and sending it out with help of sub contracting P.O -so that returnable gate pass can be created .
Now my quetion is how can i track this cost in my order for sub contracting P.O.

    hi
please try this below, you can get the actual costs in the order upon service entry sheet confirmation.
    >Create calibration order
    >Create P.O with account assignment category F.
    >Enter the calibration order number in the account assignment field
    >Create entry sheet and confirm
    >actual costs can be captured in the calibration order.
