I've installed firefox with pacman -S firefox. So did I installed flashplugin. Do you have a friend with an Intel Mac. If your MacBook and their Mac have firewire ports you can install by Target Disk Mode. You'll need a retail version of SL to do this with any Mac other than a MacBook.
Start up your friend's Mac with your install disk. After you get to the install screen on your friend's Mac connect your MacBook to your friend's Mac in "Target Mode"with a firewire cable http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1661
Then open "Disk Utility" from the "Utilities Menu" on the Menu Bar from the install disk on your friend's Mac. You should see both your MacBook and your friend's Mac hard drives in there. Erase and partition your MacBook drive and then choose that drive when you go back to the install screen. Or install over your existing OS on your drive if you have applications you want to keep.

I have windows vista. When I visit a web page that requires flash, it instructs me to download it (even though I'm sure I have it ialready...). I do so, it says it has downloaded successfully but I still cannot view the website. I have uninstalled my current version of flash and reinstalled the latest version numerous times. It even shows up in my list of programs. But each time I visit a site that uses it, it tells me I need flash to view it. Very frustrating. And suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

"Flash Player" will not work on Android 4.0.3!

I recently purchased new Samsung tablet 2 (10.1) which operates on Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
I have since found out that “Flash Player” will not work on Android 4.0.3
(Ice Cream Sandwich) as adobe is no longer supporting android OS above 4.0
This means I now have many “apps” that I can not us because they require
“Flash” to operate!
Can you assist with this problem?

I don't think the password will matter, because you can't use anything on the iPod or in iTunes to transfer song files from iPod to computer (except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store). However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
The simple software "lock" used on iPods should not prevent you from off-loading the song files. Once the song files are on your computer, you can add them to your iTunes library. Then, you can do a Restore on the iPod to give it a fresh start and sync it (and the iPod touch) as desired.
NOTE: For songs purchased by you from the iTunes Store, you can also re-download them to your computer at no cost, from the iTunes Store Purchased screen. The link to Purchased is on the iTunes Store Home screen, under QUICK LINKS.

After downloading and installing Adobe Flash Player 11.6 on my HP Laptop w/ Windows 7, The player will not work. Every time i click on a video it tells me that i need to install Adobe Flash Player. I've just updated OS to 10.10.1 and Finder keeps trying to open and then closes every 2 seconds with the message Finder is not Available. If Safari is opened full window it immediately closes and will only work with window smaller than maximum.

I really appreciate all your help. Today I spent some time on the problem. First I purchased any video converter from the ap store and then I connected the camera to the mac with the original usb cable that came with the camera. I turned on the camera and selected backup on pc and the logo came up on my home page. I opened it and after several attempts i found the 3 video files that were on the camera. I then converted them from a tod file to mp4 and then transfered them to imovie. Now I have to figure out how to send the video to youtube or move it to an external hard drive which I have not been able to do. So far I am not too fond of imovie 11. If you could send me the download for imovie 6 I then could try that route. When talking to apple support yesterday about the problem they suggested to get Final Cut Express. Users can use keyboard in the basic console and this is a failure within KDE or the X-server.
On this upgrade I needed to add the portmap daemon to rc.conf.
I am running kerrnel 2.6.5-2. The upgrade lifted KDE to KDE 3.2.2. Xfree86 was upgraded previously and did not present this problem so the KDE upgrade is under suspicion.
My rc.conf daemons list is DAEMONS=(portmap syslogd klogd !pcmcia network netfs crond fam cups kdm)
Is there something extra I need to add?

I tidied up my daemons, after considering how you've set yours. I agree portmap and fam are not useful. I now understand that the upgrade was leaning on fam so that it noticed portmap was missing... a red herring issue, perhaps?
I had no means of getting a dmesg log readout, because of the keyboard crashing. So I have patiently reinstalled kde 3.2.1, by way of adding the components one by one from /var/cache/pacman/pkg/. That works, so I can now pause and investigate if there are any any known issues with the 3.2.2 upgrade that shed light.
I did get an indicator that the DCOP server did not function properly. This happened as warnings and errors, when I installed an additional user.

Usually the Windows media Player is not able to play DVD movies IF no plug-ins were installed.
To watch DVD movies you can use the programs like WinDVD or PowerDVD.
Such programs were designed especially for the DVD playing!
But you can also visit the Microsoft website and search for plug-ins for Windows Media player.
Then you could download and install it to play DVD with WMP

My Speakers on my iphone4 will only work when I receive a call or facetime, and are muffled when an alarm goes off. Other than that, I have absolutely no sound from anything- text, music, videos, games, etc. UNLESS I use headphone. My phone will vibrate with text messages, though. When I try to turn up the volume on the side, it doesn't register any bars- the space for the volume boxes is blank. Also, there is no volume bar in my music when I try to turn up the volume. I have tried restarting my phone numerous times, I have also checked and rechecked the switch on the side to no avail. Does anyone have any troubleshooting ideas or know what might cause this?

I tried this and noticed a little green inside the charging port. I panicked thinking it was corrupt, but found out if you lighting moisten the toothbrush with alcohol and gently scrub (with the power off) you can remove the green. I started inspecting one of our charging adapters, which had been giving us trouble, and it was very green inside. Not sure if it can transfer from one to the other?
