LiveCache - LC10, - Problem Analysis ->Performance -> Database Analyser -> bottleneck report
The message read as follows:
LiveCache- Bottle-neck messages:
2 tables contain > 1.000.000 records but only 20.000 rows will be sampled for statistics.
Table SAPR3./SAPAPO/ORDKEY contains 8247892 rows(205921 pages), sample rows 20000
Table SAPR3./SAPAPO/STOCKANC contains 1319385 rows(25413 pages), sample rows 20000
Looks this would affect the processing and the delay may be an issue for CIF queue processing.
Wondering, if sampling could be increased ? is there any oss note available to do this. This index is implemented using BADI
Any input on this issue is appreciated.

When we try to index th infospaces based on universes (UNX) based on oracle connection, we are getting the below error. But indexing works on Hana based universes and Hana analytical views.
It used to work before. But it is stopped working past 2 months or so. Nothing is changed in environment. I created new indexing server and also added to path of connection server in indexing server command line parameters. no luck.
Same query works in WEBI, Universe connection works fine.
Did anyone encounter this issue?

this can be for 2 things:
1) DBD_OCI.dll is not present or corrupted
2) DBD_OCI.DLL is not registered by the OS.
DBD_OCI.DLL is an object from oracle driver, that is why it doesn't have sense that work with webi but no by "indexing information spaces"
try this,
a) backup C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\dataAccess\connectionServer\drivers\lib32\dbd_oci.dll from your dev environment
b) replace with the file present on your PRD system, (copy from PRD to DEV)
c) restart BI and verify if the error is presented in your DEV environment.
if yes, by doing viceversa you will fix that on PRD. (remember to do backup from your plattform and files) -
I'm using RoboHelp 8.0.2.208 fully integrated with Telelogic Synergy source control, and we generate WebHelp. In building the latest release (117) of our software the generated WebHelp has a couple of issues that weren't present in the previous builds. First, the auto-size pop-up topics are now cutting off text when they worked fine pre-117. Second, changes we'd made several releases ago to remove ranking in the index reverted, and we're back to ranked index results.
Our long-suffering Build Manager and I are trying to troubleshoot why this happened, and there are a couple of variables as of this build. Our developers are moving to PowerBuilder 12 as of this release, but we don't see anything that points to this being connected to the issue. Another variable is that we're in a new build environment that uses 64-bit OS. (There were the recent sunspots, too, but, naa, don't think that's it...). While I've found in this forum a discussion regarding the cut-off text in pop-ups (BTW, no extra lines ever had to be added), as well as the discussion about how to remove ranking in the index (http://forums.adobe.com/message/2901513#2901513), we'd like to find out what caused these issues to show up again now.
This also raises for us the issue of legacy files and how RoboHelp handles those in upgrading. It was when we moved from RoboHelp 5X to RoboHelp 8 that we first encounted and solved the ranked index issue. My recollection is that we also dealt with the pop-ups not autosizing properly at that time, although I haven't been able to find documentation about how we resolved that.
Is there code within our custom skin, old .css file, template/layout, or ? that could be bringing legacy issues into play here? What do the files in WebHelp5Ext do? Will migrated template_skin and/or template_stock eventually cause legacy issues? Does each subsequent RoboHelp release update to current coding standards?

1] Code that is good now will likely have problems in the future. Code created in the days of DOS can now be a problem. In this forum we can only address identified issues.
2] Perhaps Willam can answer the first part. The second part has a similar answer to 1 above. Right now it should work, one day it might not but when and if that happens, I am sure Adobe will fix it.
3] If you mean the code that makes RoboHelp work, only Adobe would know that. If you mean the web outputs, I understand they meet current W3C standards but the standards are everchanging, all Adobe can do is meet the current standards and change things when the standards change.

Duplicate Message ID issue in case of Multi mapping (without BPM)
Hi Experts,
I am doing one sample Example for my requirement of converting the single source message data into the multiple Target messages.
for example, when sender system is sending the 5 sale order details into a single message in PI then my Inbound proxy class of ECC R/3 receiver system must get this sale orders separately, that means inbound proxy class method must be triggered separately for 5 sale orders from sender system. for achieving this, I have used the Multi mapping concept in ESR (without BPM).
This scenario is in Asynchronous mode.
The below screen shots give the details on what I have configures so far.

due to this error, inbound Proxy class method is not being triggered for the single Sale order details as well,

Messages that result from the split in a mapping-based message split are sent using one AE. So only adapters running on the AE are supported. In particular, this means that target IDOC message splits are not supported since the IDOC adapter is not part of the AE.

i have an BIA-Index issue,The query-result is wrong when i executes with BIA-Index in transaction RSRT .
But when i checked the master data of infoobject is consistent. I have checked this in transaction RSRV.

Most likely you need to run an attribute change run. Attribute change run updates BIA index according to data stored in a InfoObject. You can do it from both a Process Chain or manually through Administrator Workbench -> Tools -> Hierarchy/Attribute Changes.

Indexing Issue : Idc Analyzer and other tools
Hi All,
I am facing some indexing issue with my ucm instance. Some of the files get stuck in wwGen Revision Status, some show “up to date” in index, but really are not until a re-index
happens, etc.
I used IDCAnalyzer to check the indexing issues but during analysis i got only an error pop-up saying "Error checking index" with no details in log.
Are there any additional arguments/settings which can be used to get the details. Otherwise, this tool doesn't seem to be of much help in this case.
Which are the other tools that can be used to check and correct the health of index?
How can we purge unneeded revisions, history, and other in UCM to “clean up” and remove bloat (like archiver etc.)
Note: I am using ucm 11g with SSXA.

Analyzer tool should be used when there is a mismatch in the weblayout / vault files which causes indexer , archiver etc to fail .

For example when I recorded it is 6th line where i need to enter but for next record it should add in 7th line.
but 6th line is getting repalced.. how do i resolve this issue?

Hi,
When I am creating the production order ( T Code: co08 , MTO scenarios and with reference to sale order ) but i am getting these error messge.Error when calculating costs see log like:

and also iam not getting planned cost .in the production order i saw log worning message like
Object was not costed
Message no. CK060
Diagnosis
The system could not find any entries that are relevant to costing.
System Response
The system did not cost the object.
Procedure
Check whether the following objects should be flagged as relevant to costing:
o Items in the BOM
Display BOM
o Operations in the routing
o Control key in the routing
1. Look at the message log.
2. Check whether a quantity was specified in the confirmation.

The error on product costing can be cause by several message which can be caused by poor master data maintenance. It does not mean, the error are found on every message line, you have to analyze the material number that involve in the message using the information provided by log message (procedure).
To analyze product costing in a comprehensive way is by using CK11N. By this t-code you can display the product cost result from 3 pespective: Cost element, costed BOM or cost component.
You can event check the product costing parameter from this CK11N/CK13N(display product costing). Without doing analysa to product costing, you cannot point out what cause the problem.
Solve the problem from product cost planning side first, then after calculation free of error, you can go back to production order activity.

Even we have faced the similar issue and we have done the following
1. Changed the default transaction timeout from 300 to 10000ms in /jboss/server/<server-name>/deploy/transaction-jboss-beans.xml
2. Increased the JBOSS connection pool size to min as 40 and max as 100
If you are unable to do indexing even after changing the above settings
3. Modify AEConfig.xml present in the bin folder of searhEngineDirectory with the below settings
MemoryIncrementSize - 0*00800000
MemoryReserveSize - 0*100000000
MemoryThreshold - 0*008000000
4. Even if you are facing indexing issue, modify the below property in Configuration component
/atg/search/routing/Configuration
defaultPartitionPhysicalCount = 1 - default value is 19, you can have it one or two

SOLAR01 - assign message to issue
In SOLAR01, I would want to assign message to issue, however we could not do so, as when we list the message to be assigned, none could be found.
Strangely, this can be done from transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER > Issue Management > Issues.

I am facing problem while initializing Livecache through LC10 transaction

error message :- database host not found
i have given SCM as sys id while installtion. Livecache taken as LCA automatically. i have maintained the correct CONTROL ,SAPLCA passwords correctly
when i checked the intergartion connection in DB59, I am getting error too.

these two rfc are working fine too..

Did you try to install the liveCache server on Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition ( 32 Bit)?
What is the OS of the server VTAMADA?
-> SAP only supports the Windows 32-bit platform for the liveCache server up to and including SCM 4.0.

The liveCache client software is supported so that you can use a 32 bit application server with a liveCache server.

Hi All,
I've run into another problem while trying to index a web repository. The issue has to do with trying to index links that contain URL variables whose values have blank spaces (i.e. not encoded) in them. For example, this link indexs just fine:
<a href="my folder\my file.htm?var1=hi%20steve" target=_blank>
This link does not:
<a href="my folder\my file.htm?var1=hi steve" target=_blank>
It fails with the following error:
processing failed com.sapportals.wcm.repository.InvalidArgumentException: Bad Request
They are the exact same link except for the first link contains %20 instead of a space in the value of the variable. Note that this issue only happens with a blank space in the URL variable value. It does not happen with blank spaces in the path or file name.
Any ideas what I need to change to make this work?

How to fix Apple Mail full message index in Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)?
I've tried all the solutions proposed in the past five years for this recurring failure of Apple Mail.
Many of those no longer apply because the OS X has evolved.
In April 2013 is their an effective fix or am I forced to migrate to Thunderbird?
Surprising that Apple has allowed this problem to continue for soooooo long.
Or is there an APP that can find messages in mail for me? EasyFind doesn't seem to work.

Fixing Apple Mail is NOT my job and certainly not "my" issue. Getting work done is my issue.
Happy users don't try alternative software.
Obviously the shortcoming of Apple Mail prompted you to get Postbox and "try it very briefly".
Calling Postbox rubbish is utter nonsense. Apple Mail is not "my own" and Postbox is not "my own".
Hardware and software are just tools to do a job and achieve an end and reach a goal.
Plenty of torrents offer Postbox for free.
But I was so impressed with its ease of use and comprehensive indexing that the company certainly deserves compensation for their efforts and I paid for it on the first day of a 30-day free trial.
Religiously supporting Apple regardless of extensive and widespread reporting of Apple Mail's multiple indexing problems, aside from all of Spotlight's widely reported indexing problems and CPU power consumption, but offering NO ACTUAL help, only stating the obvious -- "You have a problem." -- is not the purpose of Apple Support Communities. That is not support.
You offered no "steps to troubleshoot it now". You suggested no "simple but effective measures." You suggested no "maintenace tools".
THAT'S what I needed. THAT'S what lot's of other Apple Users need. That's what you should post here and lots of people would give you plenty many points.
All of the MANY fixes I tried were specific suggestions from the Support Community here and elsewhere trying to offer solutions that worked for them in the past -- support. Unfortunately, most of those suggestions were dated and didn't solve the problem. None of them solved the problem.
But they did offer well-intentioned, specific "simple but effective measures" and "steps to "troubleshoot" the problem. That's what people are looking for here, not just commentary.
In this case, best solution for me that got work (helping people) back on track was effortlessly slide into a great app that does the job with no problems whatsoever (so far).
The APP cost LESS than a drive to the Apple Store.
The REAL issue is solved. The REAL issue is fixed.
And I hope this one more additional option helps other Apple users get on with USING their machine, not trying to find fixes for buggy Apple apps.
Apple does not do all things the best.
Apple Mail worked OK until the last quarter's multiple software updates which I accepted believing they were fixes and improvements. The Apple experience degraded.
Any Apple Mail users experiencing problems with it should DEFINITELY consider moving to Postbox. It's great. And it's FREE for 30 days.
It is NOT HERESY to suggest Postbox works much better than Apple Mail. It's the truth.
Apple Mail working properly is still not as good as Postbox IN MY OPINION based on my personal experience.
I don't sell Postbox. I don't sell apps. I'm just posting a solution for other users to consider because it was such a relief to be able to "just use" my Mac again.
